Searched high and low but unfortunately had to walk away empty handed on this one. Thanks anyways The Sundowners Maybe next time
Based on the number of DNF's on this one, I think this one is in need of CO attention. Thanks anyways
We headed to Yass for some lunch and then decided to head into the countryside for a drive with seabreezeAK who are visiting from Golden Beach for the weekend. Like others we found the rocks but no sign of the cache. CO might need to check this out.
Found the hidey hole and concealing rocks but no cache. Then as I was leaving noticed the cache instructions in the tree. No other evidence of the cache in the area.
Looks like it might have been muggled again
Looks like council have been doing some work on the park beside the bridge - toilets, a BBQ and shelter shed with picnic table. The centre piece is a pine tree descended from the lone pine at The site of the Lone Pine battle in Turkey during WW1. Very nice place to tarry a while.

What to do on New Year's Day ? I thought I'd take a bit of a trip out of town to explore some of the nearby towns that I've not really considered in the past. Today it was north to Boorowa. It was clear an hot: about 35C.
This was my first cache of the day, I found the bridge easy enough and started to search, but it quickly became apparent there was nothing there. I found a couple of items scattered about that looked like they might have come from a cache. I fear this one might have been muggled.

The cache was smashed and all we found were the instructions. We live in town so we are coming back down later to put a new one in.
No sign off this one I'll look next time I come to town

Out and about but failed to unearth his one.
No container evident, some cache contents were on the groung and the rocks to hide the cache were still there.

Used to drop a canoe in here to paddle on down to Acramans. Found this and Acramans on a weekend trip back to home town.
Box was open an contents scattered around GZ. Put it all back together and under the rocks. Hope it survives.
Found after a quick search on the way back to the camp ground. An easy find. TFTC TNLN.
Found on way home from delicious counter meal at one of Boroowas many pubs. What am beautiful little town and magnificent camping and caravan park. Great spot for a cache. TFTC
Was with Coggs at the time.

4th find of the day out and about with mnjontour. This one was a solo effort as mnjontour had previously found it. Miss Stormcatcher did the hard work and made the find. Also quickly scanned the nearby Munzee while we were at it. Love these old country bridges and it looks like a very pretty area. TFTC
Headed out early this morning on another caching adventure. Drove down the long black line to the Southern Highands and points beyond including Goulburn Yass, Harden, Young and some other places on the way home. Second day of the adventure. Departed Harden another early morning start Great cache. TFTC

Thanks for the challenge.
Whoop whoop, quick easy find before we head off to get our morning coffee from the bakery! <3Boorowa
Found in the company of M's Piggy (babe), this is almost her home town and after doing this we went and visited her best friend.Have to say it doesn't look like a bad place ,I'll have to come back again and do those caches that I was unable to attempt due to muggles or sites shut because of the weekend.tftc
Found a nice tree to eat and drink coffee while some muggles were around, nice easy find although I overshot the mark wandering down the path. Good observations of the local writings helped in locating this one.
I suspect that the "muggles" May have been looking for the geocache too for they walked as far as I did before they turned around.

Nice hide guys was an enjoyable find and a nice cool spot on a very hot Saturday morning, felt like jumping in local water hole but a pool sounds better at SIL

We have stopped in this area numerous times. This walking path is a wonderful idea and would love our local council to do something like this. Thanks to The Sundowners for an enjoyable walk and hide.
A second look and a second visit for us. Lucky there is a new container. As it wasn't there before, thanks for replacing. TFTC
On my way to Yass from Young I thought I'd grab a quick one in Boorowa. Stopped just past the bridge where safe and walked back to make a quick find. Was surprised at the size as the listing has it as a micro. Always good to have decent sized caches. I would have dropped in a TB if I'd known.
Thanks!
Thanks!
My trip today was from Bathurst to Queanbeyan, stopping at a few caches along the way. Found after checking a couple of likely options.
My thanks to The Sundowners for the cache.

A bit of a climb but taking the correct route it is not too bad. TFTC The Sundowners.
Quick find after playing at the Boorowa netball and touch carnival on a beautiful day and a great way to finish it.
A fun find during the Running of the Sheep festival. Lovely down here by the river. Glad to pick up a cache while in town - thanks!
Girls stopped on the path and did some drawings while mum and son made the find and signed the log. Pretty spot near the river.
Have been and placed a new cache container stashed with goodies. Please swap up not down. Enjoy !!
I will mark this one as Found as there is a small object that looks like a cache in a bag, it is way out of reach and needs a long tool to retrieve it. Thanks..
We found it but cache is too far in hole to reach. Tried a number of times to retrieve without success so logged our visit on the slip of paper left by golden wattle.
First DNF of the day. Having been recently caffienated and full of a rather rich blueberry pie we wandered around the hamlet and down the the park. Started down low, wandered up high, went back to down low, returned up high and any number of cracks or crevices that might hide something the right size but only ended up find out that my shoes aren't really waterproof...not all that surprising for runners I guess, however not what I needed on a chilly winters morn scrambling through ankle deep leaf litter.
We had 4 sets of eyes looking,no luck here today. Would be good if the owner could check
ARRGGHH the dreaded Autumn leaves.
Autumn is a time of the year that I really enjoy when nature can be at its most beautiful with all it's Autumn colours. The only thing I do not like about Autumn is when I am geocaching and there is a large amount of leaf litter around. Invariably I come up with a DNF because I think I must have this mental attitude that "This is another DNF" coming on.
I am not saying this cache is missing I am just saying we couldnt find it. I will come back another day. Also there is a nearby "Town Clock Coffee" shop which makes the best ICED coffee if you have time
Thanks Sundowners for the hunt.

Found a piece of paper with a logged visit however no sign of the actual container.
We think we found this or at least a piece of paper with an earlier logged visit. No sign of the container.
The container is in the same hole as the piece of paper, but it is so deep I couldn't extract it. I could see it with a torch. Deep.
Read clues and previous logs but still could not find the allusive cache. Maybe next time
Took a bit of looking.. Removed with extractimg tool. In desperate need of maintenance. Tftc
3 of 7 for our trip from the Blue Mountains to the Victorian High Country. TFTC.
Found it in the spot the previous poster mentioned. Signed and moved to the left a little, closer to where the coordinates are, you just have to look for it!

Has been found and log removed. We picked up pieces and put them in the middle hole under the bridge
Ha had a little competition with parents and even though they logged this one online first check the log in the cache. I found it first.

Accurate coordinates and the name of the cache led to a quick find. The cache and its contents were in good condition. TFTC The Sundowners.
TaurusSix and I walked around Boorowa to get 5 caches. This was our fifth and last.
I finally cleared this one off my DNF list from 2 years ago. I'm sure I looked there last time too. SL. TFTC.
We parked on the wrong (western) end of the bridge and had to walk back, just as a troop of trucks came along, bit squeezy on the bridge so recommend parking on the town side. cache found, signed and returned. Impressed with the war memorial clocktower. TFTC
This one would have been good to have had the agile kids, but alas it was geohubby doing the deed and slipping and sliding...gotta love this caching game. tftc
Found it No. 4979 ... wife made morning tea whilst I grabbed it ... TNLN ... TFTC The Sundowners
Yes, a Bit of a scramble! A lovely park to stop & enjoy stretching the legs along the riverbank. TFTC.
Had to take a trip into town to the chemist. This one is just across the road and, surprisingly, I've never actually gotten round to it before. Anyway, not that hard to find, cache is in good shape although the log is starting to fill up. TFTC
