Took the back road from gore bay and this popped up two of us searched for over and hour this one is almost certainly missing. There is a lot of broken glass in amongst the pine needles and have several cuts to prove it just as well I carry a first aid kitt. Am recommending you archive this one and/or move it slightly to a less hazardous place

No joy on this one today. 3 of us searched for over an hour, looked about everywhere within cooey of co-ords. The only thing close to a cache was a packet of trading cards at GZ, hope this doesn't mean its been muggled, will keep an eye on future logs and see if the next cachers get on any better. Thanks

Our first stop for the day
We got rather frustrated as having waited and seen one lot of muggles leave another arrived and parked almost on GZ and then got out refreshments. We waited over 30 minutes in total before making the find.
What impressive views and formations.

Despite excellent GPS coverage, a decoded hint, and lots of fossicking I was unable to find the cache. The area around the cache site seemed undisturbed so I assume the cache hasn't been stolen.

The view was lovely though, and worth the detour from SH1.

Maybe someone with more time and more geocaching experience will be able to find it... hope it's still there.

It was a lovely day for a drive so we set out on a small trip north. We took some photos of the cliffs and had a picnic lunch on the grassy area, after picking up the cache. Swapped a Civil Defence pen for a Kidstart pen.
Thanks

Pitch black when I got here! Got to GZ quite easily, but the cache was not hidden anywhere obvious. Finally stumbled across it. Cheers Gav [717]

Nice location. A few curious muggles in the area as it was a gorgeous day! Swapped two of your Kidstart pens for two CBHS pens (blue and red).

Well, I already had a good excuse to head north - and two new caches by Conton that had not been visited for 4 days simply added two bonus reasons to go. It was a beautiful morning looking over the Cathedral formation and the ocean. Of course, you used to get a much better view of the Cathedral cliffs, but now DOC has put up a big fence that allows you to see only a bit of it. Decided not to have a swim at the beach. Thanks Conton for this one - I swapped a blue pen for one of the yellow ones. Cheers from Grandalf.
