Today is the second day of our extra long weekend for Taurus Six and I . We are staying in the Serpentine / Jarrahdale area . It is windy yet still quite warm and it is a sunny day the rain has gone away at least for now . Our aim for today is to explore around the Serpentine Dam area then do a circuit back up through to Jarrahdale , the bush around here is beautiful . The views from the escarpment are particularly impressive. There is also birds life everywhere which always adds to the days enjoyment . The bush looks and smells fresh and alive due to the recent rains and all and all another fabulous day of exploring and geocaching in what is a new area for us . This is our ninth cache find of the day along these fabulous back road . We made our way as close to gz as we could then we took the short bushbash to the gz. Surrounded by lovely bush it was a nice quick find, log and replace . Thanks for the cache find .

Had doctors and specialist appointments for the morning, so spent the rest of the day doing some caching from North Dandalup to Serpentine and to the dams.
Many great hides, and unfortunately 3 DNF along the way. Nice quick find here today.

Headed out on New Year’s Eve eve, with Cirrus_WA and his fam.
We hit up an archived cache before heading around to Keysbrook for the wrong turn series and a few others.
An extent morning with 13 finds.

Geology rocks but Geography is where it’s at!

Luckily we had SirFancy ahead of us because our maps for some reason wanted to take us past Armadale or to Keysbrook town but not the cache.
Once we got to GZ a quick check of who was coming searching had some of our team staying in the car.
Once we got to GZ the cache was located quickly and Mr T took care of the retrieval.

With a cooler day on the cards organised with SirFancy to head down to Pinjarra to help with a cache that he has been stuck with and give the kids some run around time.
When finishing up at the playground we checked the map and noticed a series of caches along some accessible dirt roads and headed for the hills.
After an enjoyable morning out and about we finished with 12 finds and 0 DNF’s.

Out grabbing a newly published cache nearby, so we decided to stop and grab this one. The geopooches enjoying the run out here in the morning. We made the short walk to gz and made a quick find after a short search. We added our names to your log and returned your cache back to where it resides. TFTC Comdek and Crew.

Took the drive down here today from Jarrahdale to North Dardanup mostly following the Munda Biddi track.

I made a quick find here in the rain. I must admit, this was a great spot to sign the log away from the rain.

Spending the Saturday on the South West Highway chasing the SWH series and some other caches.
Drove up from the highway and found a totally different experience. Quiet and peaceful place, the forest was filled with the sound of the bees. TFTH

Out for a bit of a drive today with the kids with no idea where we are headed to We were headed towards the WanAus cache when this one popped up on the gizmo! The kids were out of the car in a flash hopeful of another treasure We also found a bobtail lizard, which was also a highlight of their day!

[:(!] Went for an afternoon caching run and this was one of them, parked the geocar within 120 meters of GZ and walked the rest of the way, on arrival at GZ, I had the cache in hand within in a couple of minutes. TNLNSL TFTC/TFTH

Find number 4 on our Good Friday caching adventure. Nice quick find. This cache is in really good condition and a nice secure hide.
The writing implement was out of action, so BYO writing implement. Took Simpsons memento, left MadPacmobile.
Had a great picnic lunch out in the forest with the wife and kids. Beautiful day to be outdoors, and not a sound out there to disturb the serenity. First time out in this part of the state.

Didn't find the cache. Positive we were on the mark......

Out for a couple of hours today to get a few caches in the hills, my allocated time was drawing to a close, but I noticed that this cache was closeby and I could achieve another FTF for 2011, and also that a TB had been parked here for a while. Coordinates plugged into the car sat nav and off to collect the TB. A nice location, slowly recovering from the fires, and today's rain should help the process. Thanks Comdek and Crew for the cache., took the TB left nothing.

The geowife grew up nearby, so driving through the gravel roads in this cache-rich area was like a walk down memory lane for us, and an enjoyable afternoon as the Albany Canucks joined forces with some of Team Swartsies for a fun drive. An easy find, cache is in good condition, signed the log, did some small swaps, and left a 1964 penny. TFTC.

We replaced the new cache container as close to co-ords as possible. The original cache was placed by a now deceased cacher and it would be great to keep his caches going as a tribute to his enthusiasm for caching.

A day of caching to reach our 200, spent the afternoon around the tracks of Jarrahdale.
Stopped to see if this one had been replaced after the recent bush fires. Unfortunatley still not around.

it would seem a fire has gone through this area since it was last found in October 2009. I would suggest the owner goes out and has a look and verifies whether it is still there or needs replacing. Thanks

Will be in the area over Easter and will visit the site and check on the cache. Will take a replacment just in case.

We came down for the day to do a few caches in the area, we have not been through here since our own kids were younger. We really enjoyed the drive and was a nice easy find.
We took the guitar k/ring for one of the grand daughters. Left a toy animal.

After looking for this on the wrong road - we found it on the lower side - took squishy ball - left electric guitar keyring - TFTF - kids had great fun today.

Found while out caching in the Jarradale area for the day. Nice and quiet in the bush today, no cars and no bikes, just the birds, great day to be out.

We parked close to this cache and walked almost straight to it.
We sat on the log and wrote the log...a very comfortable place to write.
We took the plastic gold coins and added a squishy toy.
