The first day of The Great Victorian Cache Crawl 2024 and 2 days of fun and laughs has started. After the breakfast event in Sunbury I gained a front seat passenger for the day and the dog and possum that usually occupy the front seat were not happy about the relegation to the back seat.We are heading north and we started looking for caches that jumped out on us or looked interesting in the time we had before arriving at the next event. We are hoping the rain disappears soon or hopefully its going to a quick park and fond kind of day. This one was solved over a few visits and I have been sitting on the coords for awhile now and today was the day to finally help with the breakout.Made my way to GX and after a brief search I was able to help with the breakout. Thanks Romax and claybol TFTMC.
Find # 13072In Bendigo for the usual checkup n adjustment. After that was all done I was off for some shopping n caching. Have done this one off and on over the years. Tonight was the night for the final grab.Had fun along the way and still remember Max telling me how this one came about and all the figures that he got to keep the final filled up. TFTC Romax (adopted by claybol)
Arfter completing all the waypoints at night with k9team some time ago we finaly made it back out to GZ at day time to make a 2nd attempt to find the cache. Far easier with the sun out we made a quick find.Today makes day 99 of my on going streak. Thanks romax for placing and claybol for maintaining this cache.
We decided to reattempted this cache with the advantage of daylight it wasn’t long before we spoored what we had overlooked in the dark the last time we were here.

Detoured for a couple of caches, to stretch the ol' legs, grab a coffee and a few photos. This had been completed over several years and visits to various wpts. I have been here before it turns out but 'this' time I will make sure I log it. It really has been wet lately with some areas closed because of it. This one was high and dry and was able to make a fairly quick find.
The thing I love about caching is the interesting stories, the extra interest and attention you take when traveling, the sight-seeing, the history, the interests of the individual CO’s, *the fantastic photo opportunities* and sometimes finding places that even some locals don’t know about. I, like most cachers, look for more that a mint tin or a container under a bush. I appreciate the time that most CO’s take to construct a cache and write up a comprehensive listing and to create an interesting cache. **I love traveling this big land of ours.** I love taking the roads less traveled. I love the diversity of the land, the different scenes in the different seasons, the fresh air, the open plains, the lofty vistas and the magnificent waters. I even enjoy the longer scenic walks although I'm not as young and as fit as I used to be. I love the different coffee shops I find. I enjoy the times I cache with others but I usually cache on my own.
Thank you both Romax (when I originally started) and claybol for maintaining and for highlighting this area and for adding this cache to my real-life treasure hunt. Appreciate your efforts.

I haven’t spent much time caching in Bendigo, so with a couple of events on for the weekend I decided to team up with OzHockeyChick for some caching adventures. After swagging it overnight, it was a day of tree planting and caching before heading home.
This multi began the day before, after we attended the morning event in Bendigo. We teamed up with Papi4506 and Geoturtle37 for the rest of the day to work on various adventures including this one. I hadn’t been to WP1 so the team kindly returned to a spot they had been before so I could come up to speed on this journey.
From there we slowly worked our way along the journey, locating the tricky clues to the next waypoint. We were close to the end, however the trail was heading in the wrong direction to where we were headed so we left this one for the journey home.
Fast forward to today and the journey continues. The final waypoint proved tricky, but I returned to something I had spotted before and sure enough it was the final waypoint clue!
Off to GZ and a short time later we were signing the log for this epic adventure. Well worth a favourite point for all the effort!
Thanks claybol for adding this cache to the worldwide collection for us all to find.

Nearly forgot to log this one and yet it was the one that had taken us the most time. We started it yesterday and with some serious discussions, the waypoints started to fall. As the next wp was some distance in the wrong direction, it was decided to leave it for now. Now to today. The next wp happened to be on the way home, so why not. The wind was picking up but it wasn't yet raining. Once we got to the last wp and had a bit of a look around, RH came up with the goods. Glad it did as it was a little sneaky. We took the stroll to GZ and the cache was soon in hand. This is a great cache so we are pleased and thank claybol for adopting it.
What can I say, I think that this would have had me early on and I would have given up. The perseverance of the others as well as their reasoning skills are what helped us here. We started yesterday but the next stage was in the opposite direction to which we were going so we are back today to make the find. Being a Romax cache, not much needs to be said. I didn't contribute much but did manage to locate one waypoint.
We were on the way home and all we needed to do was a U turn so a smiley is now located here for all of us. Thank you for keeping this going for us to enjoy.

A weekend road trip camping adventure with RoamingHowie, exploring the Bendigo area as well as attending a couple of events and a cito, teaming up with Papi4506 & Geoturtle37 along the way.
I noticed this multi with a corrected coord on it, and upon closer inspection realised, I'd only been to the first waypoint on a previous trip, and obviously ran out of time, or was heading in the wrong direction. So today we headed to the 2nd wp to gather that info, and now had some new coords.
As part of our crew had not been to the first wp, we set off there next.
Now we were all up to date and on the same page, we headed to the next couple of wps, gathering info along the way, and finding caches in the vacinity of each one.
It got to the point where we'd be heading in the opposite direction to what we had planned, so we left the last few for now.
Next day, after a fun day of finding caches, and attending events, and about to head home, we decided to close this one off. We headed to the final wp, where we all spread out and searched everywhere.
Eventually RoamingHowie discovered the sneaky final waypoint, and we were all able to reach gz and sign off on this epic multi.
Thanks for bringing us here today by placing this cache, claybol

Brian and I have spent an entertaining morning completing this Mondo Breakout multi. Although, we have attempted to start it a couple of times, muggles have always been present.
WP1, Both Brian and I had touched this information’s home, and looked all around it. Even used a TOTT to assist. It’s funny how sometimes you miss the obvious.
Off to WP2, this was the first time we had been challenged by muggles out in the field. They asked us what we were doing as we were looking under and over this popular spot. This cache’s cubbyhole took us some searching to find. Probably 15 minutes before we had it in our hands.
On the walk to WPT 3 we were able to take a break, got coffee and something to eat…. At what looked like at first a secluded spot, soon revealed dog walkers a plenty. We also needed to determine the correct altitude here. It wasn’t long before we sighted the well-crafted information we needed.
WP4 was the easiest of the searches, especially with the direction we chose to approach it from. Information in hand, we were quickly off.
WP5 I have driven past 1000’s of times and never stopped here. I was glad this WP gave us the chance. Once again we were greeted by well-crafted information at this WP. The passing traffic must have had a giggle to see two 60 year olds on the ground searching around on their knees. They must of wondered, what the?
WP6 This was a trek, and very tricky. Again, we even questioned if we were at the right altitude. Thankfully we were. Like a couple of birds in a cage we walked back and forth trying to find this elusive next point. It turns out I had investigated this hide too. Kicked it and rocked it. This WP took a bit of work as the information we needed was stuck in its place. We finally freed the information from its hide and a new trek began.
The final cache was a joy to see, big and stunning in its hide. Both Brian and I liberated a prisoner each. When I got home I discovered I had liberated Pierre Labiche from the 2nd world war. He was a young schoolboy that joined the French Resistance. He spotted a British pilot that had been shot down and rescued him. Pierre then led him to safety.
Clayton, thank you for keeping this cache in the game. It’s a pleasure to give this cache a favourite point from us.

Found with dalerious on a day specially reserved for an early trip to Buffalo to do some extra adventurous caching which both he and I were so looking forward to . The weather had other ideas though and thwarted our original plans. We were up at 0330hrs and all we heard was the rain tumbling down. With our spirits crushed and no plan b, what were we to do? Head to Bendigo I suggest. So after a few more zzzzzz's we packed up the car and off we went with a revised list locked and loaded .
I love offset multi's and when my intrepid partner said, there is a multi just ahead, do you want to give it ago? I answered, how many waypoints does it have? He says, 6. Bloody hell, oh what the heck, lets do it .
I sure am glad we did. So cleverly hidden micros; dalerious found 3, and I found 2 and ground Z. How's that for a partnership .
This journey was a pleasure; a real treasure hunt. I loved all the differences. I was also happy to see you spelt gaol properly; no Americanism here .
Thank you Romax and Claybol for another ripper cache. Favourite given.

Well that wasn't supposed to happen. [:o]
Catnap777 and I were supposed to be swimming under waterfalls and looking for glow worms on Mt Buffalo today, but all that wet stuff was falling in the wrong places.
Instead we attacked Bendigo with a very long list of solved mystery caches we had been working on in our quiet times. [^]
Remarkably, Bendigo didn't cop a drop of rain the whole day we were there and even more remarkably, cat' and I managed to pick up 7 Romax caches and 1 named after the legendary team.
This has got to be some kind of record.
This multi was not on our list, but our plans were not set in stone (unlike one of the waypoints) so we took this 6 stage multi on hoping to at least get a start on it.
We still can't believe we completed the whole thing in a day even with the aid of a rather detailed log by a previous finder. Thanks KIFCAT.
Thanks Romax for yet another amazing caching experience.
Found, signed and returned in good condition. We left the international tribe alone to keep their own company (TNLN). [8)]

Day 12 of our southern trip caching around Bendigo. Targeting challenges and fulfilling some of those challenges.
Caching and travelling with RoddyC snickersallan and grannysmith1947.
Bailed on this one. After already bleeding from a previous DNF and now having more jabs from trying to find this one it was not worth the pain . Very disappointed.

Out for the day with LittleBoss2 trying to get her to 1000 caches by years end.
This was one I'd solved so long ago but had never had the time or decision making to make the sharp turn-off to this one. Our thanks to Max and Claybol for maintaining this one. Always great to see a huge ammo can

Out and about with Bogonghazy. A bit cooler today, so we headed to Harcourt area. Mosquitoes are not as bad today making the day a bit more enjoyable.. Thanks for placing the Geocache
Spent a few hours with KIFCAT doing this one today - so glad I picked a Romax Multi for my 100th find!! Liberated this little French chick as a momento. Thanks to Romax for another great series of hides, & to Claybol for maintaining them!
Well that was so much fun!
After hurting my ankle on the weekend(while geocaching) then being in a car accident 2 days ago(I've had some really bad luck lately!). I was a bit hesitate to go off hunting out of town like I usually do on my days off work.
Mello2 suggested this multi as her 100th find.
So off we set to WP1. There was a gentleman charging his phone watching us as we read the description. Mello2 actually touched this one first but didn't look closely enough. I had a closer look and we were off to the next location.
At WP2 we got a little distracted & confused like others before us but soon had the micro in hand.
WP3 had me looking bellow and Mello2 looking above. I scored $5 dollars on the ground. (Looks like my luck is starting to turn around).
WP4 was an easy find, unfortunately someone had gotten the container stuck so it took some time to get it free. I'm sure on lookers thought we were crazy.
WP5 quick and easy, but again, I'm sure we looked strange to the traffic going past.
WP6 now getting to the location of this one took 2 tries. But we managed to safely get there and park. Looking for this micro had us going in circles but we kept coming back to the one idea. Eventually with a bit of huffing we found this sneaky hide and some critter friends.
Mello2 spotted a suspicious looking place and sure enough she was right. We signed the log. Now for the hardest part, who to rescue.. I choose the Egyptian woman. The little red cross box was a cute touch.
Thank you so much for an awesome little adventure today. We finished up just as it started to rain. I highly recommend other geocachers attempt this multi!

Wow, such an enjoyable series of waypoints. I started this some time ago and I was having a fantastic time until i came to a grinding halt at the final waypoint. Today i came back and checked all the same places and still couldnt find it. In desperation i was about to ask Claybol for a hint when with a final inspiration i found the tricksy little fella. The gz was soon at hand and i whooped as i signed the log. In celebration i decided to free a Japanese soldier who has been cooped up since 1580. It is the first time i have taken anything from a cache so he and i might have a little toast to celebrate that as well. Definitely a fav for me, thank you!
Found. What a great multi. Loved this. We freed a soldier of Napoleon's army. TFTC
what an absolutely incredible multi!!!!! tytaylor19 and i spent about 2 hours completing this and had so so much fun on this wild adventure! this was our 5th multi and by far my favourite! also one of my favoueite caches ever!
at the first location, we found the coords instantly. but we're dumb and took us a while to work out how to figure out how to format it in waypoints haha.
the second location was sooo tricky! we searched for ages until ty finally found it. it was right near where we were looking. surprised we didnt find it sooner.
the third location took us almost just as long as the 2nd!! ty accidentally dropped the top of a fence pole in some gross stagnant water!! we were so sad and scared as we thought we'd just dropped the cache and next coords! ty was brave as heck trudging out to get it. only to find out that it wasnt even the cache, and he got all wet for no reason haha! after looking some nore, i finally spotted the next coords!!
im the 4th location, ty found the cache instantly! nice easy one after spending so long at the last two!
the 5th location, i found! once again super fast, but still very cute and cheeky placement!
the 6th location had us on abit of a treck to get to! wow there sure are alot of spider webs that we needed to dodge! ew! but ty found that one with ease!
and last of all, the final cache!!! i found this one after a while and oh my, what a brilliant one! the dolls were so so cute and we appreciate the amazing effort gone into this whole experience! what an incredible day! thank you so much for all of this! gets a fav point from me!

What. An. Adventure.
WP1 Was simple enough once we figured out the coordinates.
WP2 Had us searching for almost 30 mins until we chanced a glance at the spot and once we found it we knew we were on the right track.
WP3 Was arguably the most stressful of the whole trip. Found a fence cap and after some attempted forced openings I decided to kick one (Non aggressively and without thinking) to try and loosen it. Bad idea. The cap landed in the creek. Not wanting to ruin a 10+ year old cache I decided to wade in the stagnant black disgusting water to rescue it in broad daylight. Luckily for me it was ankle deep and I found it quickly. Unluckily for me the clue was NOT located there. Stinking of gross rotten creek water I almost gave up except that catherinec19 found the clue and it was somewhere not expected but not particularly difficult either. At least the squelching in my shoes died down.
WP4 Was a breeze compared to the last. What joy! Did enjoy the placement of this one!
WP5 Took us to a place where we had never even bothered to really look before. I’d always meant to visit here but the location is just in an awkward place. The actual clue however was remarkable in its placement!!! I love the whole style of these Romax caches!!!
WP6/Final Was actually more of a hike than anything and we had a bunch of spiderwebs to avoid but in the end it was all worth it! The prisoners indeed seemed healthy in their location and log signed and replaced.
Can I just say that this is probably my favourite multi to date. We haven’t cached like this in a while and this has inspired us to plan more multi trips. The wild goose chase adventure was genuinely quite satisfying!! Anyways TFTC this gets a fave point from me

Anyways TFTC this gets a fave point from me
What an absolute ripper of a multi this is. This epic adventure started yesterday with a very quick read of the cache page which had us walking around in circles until we took a seat to reread the instructions slowly and now had an understanding of what was involved.
Found the information eventually for WP1, WP2 was quite busy, so stealth was required whilst searching, then we were on a roll for WP’s 3,4 and 5.
Once we arrived in the vicinity of WP5 it didn’t look quite right. Kept checking our coordinates and they looked correct, but we were surrounded by private properties. We took a gamble on one of the tracks, then hightailed it out of there when we could see a house. Stumped now, we reached out to the lovely claybol who informed us we had 1 digit incorrect, which when looking at it again, could easily see how we misinterpreted this number.
With a good looking location for WP6, this was our first stop today. We still had a fair bit of trouble here as the obvious spot gave us nothing. Expanded our search radius to no avail, so it was back to our original idea and a more thorough search gave us what we needed. Phew.
Short walk later, we were at the jailhouse adding our name to the logbook.
We absolutely loved this awesome multi from start to finish. Thank you Romax and thank you claybol for your help. A favourite from us.

We enjoyed doing the rounds this afternoon.
We thought that we would grab a trad while we were close and going up and down... well we spent about 40 unsuccessful minutes after which we gave up and both begged each other to go back and complete the Mondo Breakout!
Loved the theme and idea.
We even managed to take a prisoner hostage.
As it’s now on dusk we thought he would like him to come home to enjoy some tucker, a soft bed and be safe from the enemy Covid 19.
A favorite from us. TFTC

We had fun trying to find the jail and break these little guys out, thanks for another great hide!
Re-enabling the cache now that lock-down restrictions have been relaxed - thankfully the COVID-19 breakout has been contained for the time being at least!
Disabling this one for now so that Mondo Breakout doesn't turn into COVID-19 Breakout! Stay Safe!
Andy Jac and Eloise. Completed over several visits. WPT 1 first attempt had a bit of a poke around but disturbed by muggles visiting and paying respect to our brave predecessors. After I left it hit me where it would be so straight to it on 2nd attempt. WPT 2 got distracted and wasted half an hour on an unrelated thing I found only to realize that was not it then found easily. WPT3 found with no drama. WPT4 found both the micro and its replacement when it was thought the micro was lost. WPT5 no drama. WPT6 first attempt unsuccessful. Spent a lot of time looking in the wrong spot which looked like a most likely place. Then actually checked the correct spot but a bit of mud following 50+mm of rain last weekend. Went home, read logs and we were sure where it would be. Took . Today straight to it. Sneaky sneaky Mr Romax . Found prison without much hassle. No one liberated but we did incarcerate another French mondo lady that the kids had drawn black prison stripes on her dress. Very enjoyable cache. Thanks Mr Romax for placing and Mr Claybol for maintenance. No maintenance required as all in good order at all waypoints and plenty of inmates still incarcerated. Oh the pen doesn’t work so we had to use a texta. Take a pen with you.
The original owner has kindly checked this out for me and confirmed that all is good with the waypoints. Happy hunting!
There could be a problem with the second waypoint so I'm disabling this one until I can check it out....

Suscoe was heading home today and we had a bit of time up our sleeves so we decided to venture to the final of this cache.
We first started this a number of years ago.
Nice to be able to finally claim the find.
Thanks to Romax and claybol for this multi.
All good at GZ today.

Having camped on the Goulburn near Nagambie for the Easter break we pulled up stumps and headed to Bendigo for a few days to have a look around and do some geocaching before heading back to Melbourne on Thursday.
We will mainly be chasing some challenge caches that we have completed but will also be picking up any pre-2006 caches that we can find.
Finally got there, this way, that way, over here, over there, which bloody way this time...
**Thanks for placing this cache Romax (adopted by claybol)**

After the event this morning, Motndarg and I began this epic journey. Some of the waypoints were very, very tricky but we got there in the end. There were some beautiful views at GZ where we located the cache, signed the log and replaced. Wow, the cache was super well stocked! Thanks Romax and claybol.
Out with McLookers today, followed the waypoints and found some were rather difficult, but eventually made our way out to the final spot. Parked the geo carriage, a short walk and bingo, the well stocked cache was located. A great viewing spot, but the countryside is so dry. Thanks Romax and claybol.
Well this was an epic adventure today as we battled the heat with a car's air-conditioning that, lets just say, doesn't really work when stop, starting! We collected each set of new coordinates taking us on a tour of urban and rural Bendigo but had an epic failure at the last waypoint due to a very big black spider, so a PAF was needed to get us to the end. Once at the jailhouse we signed our team name in so the guards would allow access
Thanks Romax for the well executed multi and claybol for keeping another beauty alive.

Sitting at my computer during these Covid lockdowns, I am trying to catch up on a few logs that I haven't sent in yet.
Over the years, geocaching has taken me on many adventures, including interesting destinations all over my home continent of Australia and many overseas as well. It has also introduced me to a diverse group of like-minded caching tragics, many of whom I now call close friends.
Today, I was lucky enough to be out and about searching for caches, something I do on almost a daily basis. This was one cache that was targeted and found.
Sorry for the late log, something I am notorious for. Thank you for adding to the adventure that is geocaching.
Thanks Romax (F=4894 H=39) for the cache.

What an epic adventure over several weeks! Has taught me to look everywhere, and to sometimes approach things, and WP's, from a different direction!
It hadn't been found for well over a year, so knew it wasn't going to be easy.
Actually found the lost WP4 container, but didn't realise it was lost until speaking to Romax.
As with others, required help, and a tool, to Aquire WP6, had not seen anything like this one before.
Finally, our first ammo can and we released USA 1870 and Africa 1850 to start a new life free from the confines of prison.
Thanks Romax for an awesome multi, and yes glad to turn this to a smiley face!

Find #908 for me. Found at last!! I first started this multi late last year and was going so well, finding the clues I needed at each of the waypoints without a problem. But then came the final waypoint which had me stumped. After 2 failed visits trying to find the final clue at WP6 I confirmed with Romax that it was still there and that I was looking in the right area. On my third visit I was full of renewed confidence, yet I still couldn't find what I was looking for and gave up after spending another 30 minutes looking without success. Finally, out of sheer frustration, I contacted a previous finder for a very useful hint. As it turned out, I'd looked in the right place several times before but just hadn't investigated thoroughly enough. Very sneaky! With the final coordinates in hand, it wasn't long before I found the final cache at GZ. Even though the lid of the clip-top container no longer clipped into place (and was therefore loose), the contents inside were dry and in good condition. Thanks Romax for this cache and the challenging and incredibly rewarding journey to get there, spread over several months!
Staying in Bendigo for a week, to pick up a few caches in the area.
We started this cache over a year ago, but only managed to find the first 3 micros.
Put in more effort this week, in the attempt to complete it.
This has been the longest, but most intriguing multi that we have attempted.
Even locating GZ, we were forced to do several u-turns, to find access.
Many thanks for placing this cache, Romax, for us and others to find.

Found with Teamlauren. Tftc. This was a great caching adventure. Took a while finding each of the 6 micros- separate challenges for each one and clever hides had us searching.
Wp6 was definitely the hardest but thanks to romac we were able to find it.

Tftc. This was an epic adventure. Each of the micros had there own challenges and required some caching skills of observation and discovery. The 1, 4, 5 micros were quick finds but 2 and 3 had us searching for quite a while, wanting to give up before we finally them. Finally searching for 6 we needed Romax's help to find the last one. At night caching we got the clue and finally found it. I took Australia soldier and he will be my caching ambassador. This was awesome.
Mondo, Mondo.... I'll be dreaming Mondo's for weeks There was another car parked when I arrived and I half expected to meet another cacher at GZ. Set about the walk to GZ from the car park, and at first I went straight past, but GPS soon had me backtracking and the stash was quickly spotted. Signed the log, all contents in pristine condition, and then set about putting it back together as I found it. That took some time, and almost a work of art. No cacher was spotted and the other vehicle was gone on my return. Sincere Thanks to Romax for the Multi, the cleverness and the cache. Cheers, Lisa
I've been working on this one for 3-4 weeks on and off now.
I met Romax at wp1 and received some great advice on geocaching!
I slowly but surely made my way through each wp along the way, and decided to break into the jailhouse today.
After searching for it for a considerable amount of time (whilst enjoying the views) I ended up admitting defeat.
Thanks for the cache Romax, but ur final location has me beat.

Found after a great chase to the prison. Plenty inmates so one is now on parole.
You gain a favourite point for the thinking on putting this multi together. Great. TFTC.

Item at posted co-ords did need attention and although still located at the same niche, is now in a different format, so PAF will not be quite as helpful!
After finding one of your other caches nearby we were eager for another find. This was a great adventure. I loved pondering the creativity of each waypoint. Finally reaching the prison we discovered just 3 inmates remaining so decided to leave them to serve another term. Thanks for a fun afternoon
Never found the first point. But ended up somehow picking up from micro number 2
Thanks anyway.
Thanks anyway.
Found with ronnienash and one of the members of Mobiledaws. With the assistance of someone who has found the cache before we were able to quickly find the finale. Thanks for the cache.
# 169 - This cache has taken us a few seperate visits (bring on all-year daylight savings, we say!), but we finished it today! As always, Romax's very high calibre hides were great fun, keeping us guessing the whole way! Had a fair bit of trouble at a few of the wpts, but nothing like the "phone a friend" feature to get some clues! TFTC and a whole lot of effort Romax, you definately steal another favourite from us!
What an awesome adventure! Got up to wp4 in one day and got stuck there. After a hint I was back on track and 5, 6 and GZ fell tonight. Every waypoint was a sneaky hide and to get seven of them in one multi gives me a great sense of achievement. Like most everyone else wp6 had me stumped for a little while.
I liberated two men and left GZ just on dark with a lovely view west with the sun below the horizon. Thanks for an awesome cache Romax! This steals another favorite from me.
I dedicate this find to Steven Love (aka Sven & geocachespoilers) who passed away a few days ago. He would have loved it.

Has taken us ages bur we finally found it. Escaped three dudes one fir each geokid
D'oh ........ Second search at waypoint three but two peoples determined searching at the co-ords Have left us unsuccessful ........ Hope to be back soon to try again
Thanks to harrowangs timely advice we have now rectified the ravages that time and the weather had wrought on mini wpt 6 and it is now back in it's original condition ready to challenge future searchers!
Well we realized this one had not been found for a few months, but it sounded really interesting. Six micros and then the GZ - that ought to keep us busy whilst spending the weekend in Bendigo with Mrs harrowang's brother and sister-in-law who cache under the names of Kens Collection and Roamin Rob. Having completed 'the CFA - our heroes' multi cache - we were on a roll! Enjoyed visiting all the great parks, a walk along the walking track and finally and successfully finding the 6th micro (which, by the way desperately needs a new container, sorry we did not have one that size today)and therefore the co-ords for GZ. We found the 'jailhouse' and managed to free William the Conqueror (1066 and all that) - maybe he'll be able to help England out again in their current financial crisis.[?]SL at 2.35pm LN but a few smiles. TFTC and the challenge on a very warm spring afternoon. Now it's time to head back to Wangaratta - another Bendigo multi cache successfully completed. Love your work Romax
Had trouble on our first visit with the 3rd way-point. Had to get some help (thanks romax). Had a little trouble retrieving the last way-point then found the cache easily on our 2nd visit. Met a member from applebees at one of the way-points. Our first contact with another geocacher.
Excellent multi, loved all the types of finds. 6th micro was jammed and covered by mud. We used a screwdriver and pointy nose pliers to retrieve. Have cleaned and unjammed. Thank you.
We came home really disappointed with ourselves - after finding 5 of the micros we were unable to locate the 6th one! Perhaps we'll go back another day to have another try.....would love to find it!
Well started a few weeks ago, and yes it does depend a lot on the timing of when to get what, especially when by yourself I reacon. no1 I was stuck, no4. not sure how I missed that, & no 6 I think I missed all togeather. But I did find it.
Thanks for the Hunt, I did enjoy even with some trobling points on the way.. hmm... no-one was liberated today, didn't feal they deserved it for me, maybe I'm the warden checking on them.

Ok, now for a big multi from Romax.
Had no trouble finding the first 5 micros.
Got to number 6 and thought where?
Had to give in and make a call, only to find out that the micro location had been moved by muggles. Soon had micro in hand and the coords for the GZ.
Found the cache after widening the search a bit.
Had a look at the mondos and chose to take Woman FLyers of World War II.
Thanks heaps for the run around town.

It took us a few visits to work through this one over several weekends, and today we were happy to find the GZ. We liberated a couple of inmates. Thanks for the cache Romax - another very clever hide.

Finally make it today after last March I did found some WP but not finish until this weekend - I bring Crank1 and Alchemy2 to help me. I am so happy... No swap. SL. Thanks Romax
Everlasting was finished few so she came back again to finish off with us. Found with Everlasting Alchemy2. TFTC
Found the first two waypoints with ease but could not locate waypoint 3. Didn't have your number with us or we would have rung for advice. We noted it hasn't been logged since January, there were a couple of logical places but they were empty
Bluey found three and old Hobbo found two of the waypoints before Squid came up with the final cache. Released two of the inhabitants to join our own Mondo family. Great view. TFTC.
Eventually got to the jailhous & discovered that most of the inmtes have already escaped! So left the remainder so that the warders will have something to do [^]
Cheers, TFTH.

Found this one with the clan after a phone call to Romax for help in finding the location of the last wpt. Once the clever hide was explained to me it was soon off to gz to release 2 behaved mondo's.
Thank you Romax for the hint and hide.

Found at 1500. We had a great time doing this one. Thoroughly enjoyed the six micros and the camouflage job at number 6 is one of the best that we have seen. We liberated 2 prisoners. Thanks Romax for another enjoyable micro hunt.
Well, had no plans on caching this morning, but due to locking the keys in the car after retrieving the GPS to show it to someone, decided might as well have two of us walk to the closest cache while the third member of the team waited for the RACV to arrive.
Comments from the youngest member "this was the funnest multi so far".
We managed to find all the items quickly but a couple were hard to retrieve, and had to maintain a couple. All should be fine now.
Set three of the "Mondo's" free.
Another great ROMAX cache.
Thanks.

We have been doing this one in bits and pieces with The Easts over the past couple of weeks. Ran into a wall with the last wpt and had to succum to the lure of help. Team Boofa reassured us we were definately looking in the right spot but still to no avail so in the end the told us the general direction of the cache and we did a good old fashioned hunt and found it. Then came the hard part. What Mondos would we liberate. We had the whole crew on board so there was a bit of discussion about what we already had living in our Mondo Castle at home. In the end made a choice and set 6 Mondos free to live relatively free at casa de Appleby. Thanks for the challenge.

Now what can I say about this one!!!
WOW what a great one. Had my family driving all over the place for this one. Found the final place in the rain and dark plus a little help from Romax on WP5. (Couldn't see it from looking). Even touch it.
Wonderful hide and adventure, Well done.
I even did my go deed for the day. A you pup was running mad in the park at WP4 dragging a lead behind itself so I called it because I thought it had escaped from someone. I was walking the dog trying to see if we could see it's own, when an elderly man came from behind some bush and over the bridge with a couple kids following him. He throw his hands up in the air and yelled "At Last". The poor fella open the car door and the dog took off. The kids were tying to help him too. The dog had run from a nearby park up the Kangaroo Flat train station and around down back to the highway. I would say a 5 km walk/ run/ chase for this poor old fella. He will sleep well tonight and I think the dog will too )
