hi, area well searched to no avail, found suspected "red top", off cahce?? you may need to check caches muggle status, also found silica bag nearby,
We also searched thoroughly without finding it, but we saw some loose silica-gel sachets on the ground. Probably gone.
Another Mrs S.t. find, a little exposed and damp but we delt to both issues while we were there. The cricket pitch was getting a lot of attention from the groundsman while we were there.
Cheers,

#1084 This was a fine spot but the grass was brown on the playing fields. The cache was completely covered but found quite easily. The log book was slightly damp though. TNLN DS8300
I work at the local school and have been meaning to find this one since I first started geocaching but somehow never got around to it...! An easy find with no muggles (or mugglets) around. However, the cache was lying exposed and was very damp inside with no swaps at all. Wonder if it has been raided. Replaced & covered. TFTC.
Found it easily. Thanks for the pre chewed chewing gum inside cache, that was a nice touch!! TNLN
Found easily, but very damp inside the container, including the notebook. Beautiful spot.
What a nasty hide, don't really see how you expct people to find it.
Log book is wet, as it wasn't in the bag.
Nicely maintained grounds though.

Found it! TFTC. The cache was very wet, and logbook was soggy but still able to write in it. I left logbook outside of plastic bag as it was more wet inside bag than in the cache container.
This is the second time I have been back for a look at this lovely place..and I spent a long time looking but still no go sorry...cheers
Only unsuccessful hunt for the day and so close to being our 100th. The celebrations will just have to wait.
Very nicely maintained grounds.

Second attempt at this one. Last time it was raining and the area was in use. This time, we had the time for a proper look, and the treasure was soon revealed.

Took a while to find, but it was where the GPS said it should be - just requires a bit of grovelling! TFTC.
Large area to choose from. Had tried once before as I bring my son for rugby occassionally. Hard to sneak around at these times. Had a second go this time and found nicely. Coord.s were good if you trust your GPS. TNLN SL. T4TC
We somehow made this one harder than it should have been, but got there in the end... great place - TFTC
Now this one was tricky. Thought it might be easy, but it turned out to take longer than expected. Nearly gave up, but persistence paid off! TFTC
Very suprising place, really well looked after. Early in the day and no-one about so drove right up to the cache. Found after about 10mins and just before the rubbish truck arrived to empty the bins.
Many thanks.
Many thanks.
this is a pristene (sp) sports ground. Found in heavy rain shower so was about to give up and there it was.... Bonus!
Woohoo! Found it at last! There was no-one about so I was able to drive up right next to the cache. Very pleasant here this afternoon. Cheers Gav [1192]
4:43 pm - What a peaceful spot. Such a great wee town that we went for a game of tennis after doing this cache and then to the pub! TFTC. TNLNSL.
4:43 pm - Good spot. Persuaded Linleye to play tennis with me nearby. Thanks.
Second time lucky on this one, needed that red lid to shine and it did, otherwise this would have been another DNF. Cache was wet inside, so dried it out and replaced silica. I see they have fixed the grandstand since we were last here - good to see they did not demolish it. TNLN Thanks.
2nd visit to this neat little sportsground. Like Sevren the red lid showed me where it was. I can't believe how I missed finding it last May. The container held quite a quantity of water but the bagged contents were only damp. I dried everything out and left some silica gel. Cheers.
This was to be our last cache for the day. Found the table easily and the GPS identified what we took to be the "two". After five easy finds this afternoon this turned out to be an "unexpected problem". After searching high and low, round and about and under, loking for a red lid and approaching a number of times with the GPS we had to give up. Since it was tea time we consoled ourselves with some very good fish and chips from the local shop.
Easily found late on a Sunday afternoon, only a father and son playing ball to disturb my search. Red of the container lid in its hiding place gave it away easily. replaced exactly how I found it. TNLNSL
Hmmm, cache may need to be checked out. I couldn't find it at the location suggested in the hint either. Cheers Gav
Very nice grounds. Had afternoon tea sitting in the sun at the very nice BBQ table. But be blowed if we (2 of us) could find the cache.
Nice wee town. Drove straight past the turn-off, but a quick trip round the block got us there. Straight forward find. TFTC

A quick find on a lovely afternoons caching around the area.
I loved the old grandstand - pity it is unable to be used now!
+ Pencil sharpener
- bag clip

Went for drive in country for some caching as the rough weather put a damper on much else. This proved to be a very quick find as the container was exposed for all to see, so I placed a small brach over it. The grounds are very well kept and the trees offered some welcome shelter. TNLN.
What a delightful sports ground. We arrived in time to find the cunningly disguised cache just before the cricketers arrived for their game.
Thanks

Came here with Bitsprayer.
Nice sport for a cache.
The cricketers were3 too far away to see what we were up to.

Co-ords a little off, we think. We sussed out where this likely was, but there was a cricket game going on nearby. Will try again sometime.
After reading Grandalfs comments decided to head out and find "What a Catch" and check the cache along the way.
The coords were off so after taking several readings we have adjusted the coords.
Cheers

What a lovely spot - very "manicured". The coords are perhaps 20m out, but the hiding place is reasonably obvious. Thanks Conton for making a journey into the country well worthwhile. No swaps, cheers from Grandalf.
