Found a perfect size hole which looked like a cache belonged in it, will PM the owner with details, but looks like it's been muggled. A few minutes after we left the area, some kids were playing "armies" in GZ so maybe school holidays weren't good for this cache?
Plenty of birds around today. Saw crows, pigeons, galahs, ducks, ibis, cockatoos and magpies. Was quite delightful. The cache's hiding spot was an easy find but with quite a few people enjoying the park it was a bit difficult to extract. TFTC!
Found with no hassles, managed not to pounce on any of the birds I saw, which were mostly ducks. TFTC! ='.'=
1540hrs. We wandered around all over the place before we worked out where GZ was. Not a lot of birds around today. Saw a couple of galahs and doves and could hear a crow.
In: toy car, butterfly
Out: frog, dolly bracelet.

The birds must have taken a holiday along with the muggles as the place was deserted and very quiet. TFTC
Found this one with Jimw83 on a full day of caching whilst the girls were wedding dress shopping. Found the cache easy as the hiding spot was very obvious. Be careful as I almost stepped on a snake looking for it.
Thanks,

A nice easy walkup cache and a nice size too.
Didn't see any of the parks namesakes, but there were a long of heron around.
Took nothing, left ball and frog.
Thanks vwnuts for a nice easy cache on a hot Brisbane afternoon.

I'm suprised that this one doesn't go walkabout with the cover used!

Was given an early mark from work and didn't need any other excuse to spend a day out caching, however not quite prepared with any swaps. Also some people have been playing mind games and not logging when they pick up TB's went to three today where there should have been one and found it not to be when I arrived.
A few kids out on their motorised bikes today but all kept clear of me. Nice easy find.

Found within seconds. It was quite evident where it was.
Plenty of magpies and butcher birds around on the way in.
Mugglekins playing what looked like "Whats the time Mr. Wolf" on the other side of the creek so I had to make it look like a photo shoot to get the cache.

This cache was find number 83 of 102 finds I did with Dtay for our record attempt on Saturday 18 November 2006.
We were here at 18:45 hours.
We parked close by and found a convenient bridge - getting darker now, had to use our lights to find this one and record our visit.

The "See if you can spot the birds" had us looking up in the trees for a long time.
So many parks and open space around Brisbane is really is good to see. This cache wasn't very private and a little bit of stealth was required. Mrs weroamin walked right to the cache without the GPS, which was good thing because I made the co-ordinates S27 22.55 E153 01.955, but hey in the end it was an easy cache. Took nothing left token signature. TFTC
Nomes and I found this and a couple of others during our visit to Brisie..... took horse, guitarist and cards left car, bangle and keyring
Last of 7 caches for the evening and surprise, surprise, there's a fluffly waddle duck TB in there, taking up every spare bit of space in the container. Fortunately for him he didn't have to stay in such cramped conditions for too long before being sprung! Could be a nice spot in the daytime. Took the TB and left a pack of playing cards. TFTC
Found at 7.21pm, during Bundys Bloody Bewdy Brissy Bonanza. The girls and I wandered into the park, over the bridge, disturbing the local dogs in the process, and making the locals having dinner on their back deck wonder what was going on. Fortunately, they were unable to see us. Took $1 and left T/B Fluffy Waddle Duck who had travelled all the way from Bundy up to Gladstone, then back to Brissy for the weekend. Im sure he is nice and cosy, as it was a bit of a squeeze to get him into the cache.
Here Birdie Birdie – Found at 7:21pm We wandered into the park, disturbing the local dogs, Making the locals having dinner on the back deck wonder what was going on, but not able to see us. Took $1 coin & Left Waddle duck travel bug, who had travelled all the way from Bundy up to Gladstone, then down here. He is probably feeling pretty claustraphobic, as it was a pretty tight squeeze

Found the cache at 10.45pm. Lovely park... We enjoyed walk along to the cache. No swap. Thank you for organise the cache and hunt.
Had to resort to a bold grab with muggles at nearby picnic shelter (retrievel hidden by garden plot though). No Rainbows here today. This cache marks Featherwaites 450th cache find! Cheers.
Found after work this afternoon... Easy find amongst the noisy birds...
Took fluffy dog.
left wooden angel
Thanks

The birds were singing (or screeching). Funny how such an exposed open place can be relatively secure. Cache is snug. TNLN TFTC
Looks like someone uncovered this one, logged visit and recovered. Plenty of muggles around this arvo! skatedude tb out
I loved this park. It is amazing what you can find tucked away from the main streets.
Lots of bird noises but to early in the day for spotting to many birds.
TNLNSL
Thanks for the excuse to get out and about.

Lots of birdies, helps being there close to dusk. Bet there are lots first thing in the morning too. Armless Chained and Boards has been with us for a while so we've dropped him quite close to where another of the type of Skate parks he likes to visit is. We had to take McScrooge duck to make space so we left a Aussie flag pin so the box closed & the Canadian flag had a partner. TFTH
Just as we arrive a group of 3 muggles also arrive. [:(!] Never mind, that's what kids are for! So off went the decoy GeoKids to the playground, and Mumma and Dadda NANKS casually went bush!

What a pleasant park with a few birdies around today, probably because of a little rain. No muggles at the playground probably for the same reason.
Took glass moon and left highlighter pen and child's stamp.(requires inkpad)

Found at 20:50 with BJ Queen. My overall find number 59. The birds were all asleep or elsewhere but the flying foxes were restless however. Was beginning to worry about being on the wrong side of the creek, but the dark shape of the bridge eased my mind. This whole area used to be just overgrown grass around the creek when I was growing up. The creek at the end of our street ran into this one. The manicured parkland is a big improvement on my memory of this spot. TNLN. TFTC.

Found relatively easily at 1.32pm. We could hear the birds, but couldn't see them. Really nice park. We like finds close to bridges as it means we're never stuck on the wrong side of the creek!
Replacing the cache took a bit of the old "Let me just stop here and tie my shoelace" trick, due to the audience of mugglings playing on the swings.

Unfortunately there were no birds around today except for a solitary crow

Here I am back in Australia and now tracking caches in Queensland with Christine. This was a good find although partly exposed. I covered it with more leaf litter etc. before I left.
I have left Moun10Bike Geocoin #003 which I retrieved from emily on Norfolk Island a few days ago. Thanks vwnuts

We hadn't planned on searching for this cache, but the name made The 1st Lady smile - so we found it. A really nice area, still some birds around @ 10.45 am too.

In the area visiting family, and this cache on the route home. Lovely park, but lorikeets left for the day already. Butcher bird in the same location as cache, and watched us the whole time we were fiddling with the cache. Lovely spot, great cache.
No birds today.
Nice park, did not know it was there. Easy find, but well hidden.

First of five cache finds on the way to the airport. This was an easy find at 1440, because it was partially exposed. I covered it better before I left. Future finders, don't bother decrypting the hint; it merely says "No Hints". Thanks to vwnuts for the cache.

No problemos here despite the BBQ going on only 50m away. Didn't see much bird life though, probably due to the midday raid. Would be better in the morning or evening.
this made a great trio to tackle on a bike ride w/ 2 nearby caches - fortunately this one had a water fountain nearby!
Found, our 99th at 11.50am. Can't believe we missed this one the first time we tried!

Was driving right by this one so decided to drop in and take a look.
As i approached i determined where it would most likely be and noticed someone in there poking around and decided it must be another cacher.
I met The Sentinel and we chatted briefly before finding the cache right on midday. TNLN.

Busy site today!! Beat the bushes for a bit before finding the cache. TN but left Canada flag and loonie coin. TFTC
I'd been looking in the bushes for a little while for this one when HawMorFords showed up as well.
He had a blue workshirt on which, from in my possie in the bushes looked like a police uniform on first glance!!!
We both looked for a bit longer and found it right where we had started looking.
Left Firetruck.
Took Traudel TB.

In general location about 10.30am and so were a fair few muggles! Decided to come back another time. Nice little park.
FTF, drove 60km from the Southside to grab this one at 1:38am. I wanted to beat the locals to it.
There was no one around but the frogs were all croaking so it made it really eerie. Found after about 10 minutes of searching with my torch.
Thanks VWnuts

Found the location easily at 17:45, but with all the people in the general area we had to wait to get a chance to look for it. Liam played in the park for a half an hour while we waited for them to leave. Just as it started to get dark everyone disappeared and we were left to ourselves... after which it took about 10 seconds to find it.
This is a fantastic park... I really envy the people who have houses backing onto here. Thanks for showing it to us.
