As there's been no cache to find for months, I'm archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. If you wish to repair/replace the cache sometime in the future, just contact us, and assuming it meets the guidelines, we'll be happy to unarchive it.

G'day. Is this cache likely to get back into play or should it be archived freeing up the locality? Regards, Andrew

A previous finder has confirmed that it's missing and needs replacing.
(Maybe with something that shows a little more respect for the site?)

DNF. I teamed up with Wayne of Team Red Roo for some cache hunting today. We both searched all around GZ but couldn't find this one anywhere.

I searched (in the company of 3BlindEyes) but we both failed to find the cache. Sad

Finally found it.

Had to get a fifty/fity and a phone a friend.

Needed a little help on this one. We had a fair idea of what we were looking for but someone had been re doing the firebreaks in the area. We can report that the sand and rubbish did not cover the cache. Missed it by that ( ) much.

Thanks

Whilst hitting the local caches hard today we stopped by for a quick find. Although at first the sats had me searching elsewhere, Gizmo had it sussed out in short order.
As others have said b4 we've never stopped to look at this little park and had always wondered what it was as we drove past ... now we know ... Cheers TLC

First time I have stopped at this park too and I have been driving past it for 15 years. Sad to see the family names repeated so many times on the plaque.

I would have a laugh at the cache if it was not closer to the WW1 memorial park. Anyway, thanks for bringing us to this nice little park that we passed by hundred times without knowing of its existence. Thanks for the cache.

17:40 Work done, time to play.
Didn't mention it was well after dark the last time I was here. In the daylight this is remarkably easy although I was still cautious when I spotted it.

Big Grin FTF Big Grin Found the micro at 3.30pm. Very interest about WW1 memorial garden (Sad) anyway I am so pleased that I found the micro eh. Again Thanks for the hunt. SL.

I agree with Bear_Left. It is a good idea but it is too close to the memorial reserve. I initially thought the name was a bad taste reference to do with the memorial until I actually found the micro. Perhaps you could shift it further south east away from the memorial reserve.

Thought this might be easy, it wasn't. Between the weak satelite reception and the rain I didn't spent too much time here.

Nice idea, but I'm a little put out by the proximity to the WW1 memorial garden...
At the going down of the sun, and in the morning, we shall place novelty caches near them.
