Good Day,
This geocache was brought to my attention as being in need of an owner maintenance visit. The cache owner needs to check on this cache ASAP and either replace it or archive it, after picking up any geo-litter. See the [maintenance section of the Geocache Listing Requirements/Guidelines](http://www.geocaching.com/about/guidelines.aspx#listingmaintenance).
I've added this cache to my watchlist, and I will check back in four weeks to be sure that the maintenance has been done. In the meantime, I have temporarily disabled this listing. When the maintenance is completed, the owner can enable the listing by clicking on the link below the cache name to return it to active status.
Whatever your intentions, please **post a note** here on the cache page (not email) to let us know that you are still active and maintaining the cache. If a month passes without seeing a response, then I'll assume that this listing should be archived.
Looking forward to hearing from you,

We found the cache easily but did not retrieve or sign due to a possum resting on it. Very interesting place.
Nice quick find - however there was a possum sleeping next to the container so didn't retrieve it to sign the log. TFTC
Found this one quite quickly. Am curious about the headstone as I am researching this family name and it would be interesting to follow it up to see if this person fits in the family tree. Thanks for bringing me to this site. Didn't know it was here until today. TFTC
After hiking around Keperra with 4ando we were making our way to burritos and a glass of wine. Mr 4ando was in the passenger seat giving me directions from Google Maps and I was appalled. That's not the map I care about. I gave my phone to Mrs 4ando who corrected the situation and directed us towards this cache.
I parked in the entrance and before starting the search we hear "I"VE GOT ONE METRE HERE". I think everyone in the suburb heard it as well. Stealth is clearly not one of our greatest assets. In fairness, there were some beers waiting for us so excitement was at an all time high.
Clearly the junior member of 4ando was getting testy as the 3 of us adults seemed to be in a world our own. His parents (and me) had already lied to him about dead-ends, caches on a loop and no more stops before lunch. I could feel him shooting daggers at us with his mind control.
Finally we got some grub and a big thank-you to 4ando for shouting me lunch and a great day of chasing the plastic. tftc

After a great trek around finding caches, we all thought one more grab before burritos and wine, ok,ok, geo-son never agreed to that but being the youngest member of the party we vetoed him and turned down the side street to make the grab.
This is almost like the graveyard is right on the footpath here. We soon had cache in hand and thought yep it is time for lunch and reminiscing about the morning adventures before heading home to catch up with the rest of the members from 4ando and Woodyrothwell that were missing today, plus we all thought that we have probably over stayed our welcome in graveyards for one day.
The view was so great up in we thought we’d put in our hands and take it home…

I'd come to this cache previously but with a young geoson and my vertical challenge-ness I didn't think I'd be able to reach it without someone else to assist with looking after the littlest one. Finally managed to convince hubby to come help me with this one only to discover the cache was well within my reach and sight this time. So it really didn't take long to find and sign it and then return it slightly further out of sight (at least for us shorter folk . We spent a great deal of time wandering the cemetery and checking out the amazing city views and wonderful sights of the delightful small church. Recently my grandfather passed away and my grandma donated a wonderful miniature model he had built of the church back to them. It was really nice seeing the church that inspired his creativity. All was well with the cache although the interior seemed mildly damp - the logbook however wasn't.
This cache was found on April 1st 2017 (no april fools here!) at 3.18pm. It was find #302. Thanks for the cache wingaap. It's always nice to see a cache that's got this kind of longevity.

A beautiful little church! Glad we could hide behind the tree, felt a bit funny walking into a graveyard. Such a nice spot though!
Heading home after a day of cahing with KerriMG and couldn't drive past without having a look here.
What a fabulous view. Think I would be quite happy looking at that for eternity.
A fairly quick find, once I moved on from my first wrong spot.

Out on our regular caching Thursday with Nikid1 & we headed over to the Arana Hills area & this was our last cache of the day.
What a fantastic view from here & a gorgeous church as well. Love the little building at the entrance.
It wasn't til I was reading the description as I am writing my log that I saw the helpful info about where to look for the cache - one day I will learn to read the description & check out the attributes before I go looking for a cache!
Nikid1 made the find & returned the cache to it's home after signing the log.

In the local area today and stopped by to locate the cache. Quick find. Lovely cool breeze. TFTC
On our way to Christmas shopping so just had to stop and grab a cache. I know this cemetery well as I used to pass by here on my old walking route. Beautiful spot. Cache found quickly once at correct angle. TFTC.
Gorgeous church and Cemetery here and the look out over the city is beautiful! Thanks for bringing us here
I'm not a fan of cemeteries generally but this place is gorgeous! Thanks for bringing us here! We could have stayed for ages but a service was starting, the place was amazing, and the views gorgeous! Elly was considering buying property here! Haha
Nice quick find on a Sunday morning after breakfast @ nearby Sizzler. TFTC:-)
With Capt Buscemi (GeoDad), rose up to the challenge to find this easy cache. TFTC!
Wow ... what a beautiful little spot for this cache to be located. The views are great and the church grounds are very well kept. TFTC
Nice trek of my normal paths for this one, and a bit of bris history to boot. Nice hide tftc
Mooseling was at Sizzlers for dinner so I grabbed this as a night time cache. Great view of the city at night. Grabbed the resident to as well. Tftc wingaap
I found this one today while driving past on Samford Road. Nice and quiet corner up here.

Slowly, I work through the older geocaches in the South-East. I drive Old Northern Road at very least twice a week and it's just lovely to have a small detour to a 2005 hide. Indeed, this one has a few friends nearby that interest me, but I'm taking several trips to get them over many more days. There's no benefit grabbing them all at once in my mind.
I had read the history provided in the description for this one and indeed, some interesting research right there. Such interest by the CO is deeply appreciated. My drive up was enjoyable and I soon turned off into the appropriately named street. It was now I fully appreciated it is Sunday and the area might be somewhat muggle-infested. Alas, it was not.
There was plenty of room to park, nobody watching and a great view to be had. A wonderfully enjoyable combination. I recall standing there, watching out over Brisbane and thinking there are far worse places to be laid to rest in this world. I got around to finding the geocache, which didn't take too long, signed the logbook, dropped a trackable and replaced all as found. As is the norm, everything here in good condition. A lovely find for me today. Thanks for this geocache, wingaap

I came here once before, back when i first started geocacheing.
Being short, didn't want to climb upon any sacred structure to reach the hidden cache.
Today, i decided a good stretch should suffice.
Well what do you know. I now have cache on hand, and name added to log.
Sit for a while, enjoy the view.
All good with this cache.
Signed and returned. Tftc

Out caching with my daughter pinkypie05 and my son mazza151. On our way home we thought we would drop in and do this cache. Such a pretty little church and lovely area. TFTC!
First cache find of the year and it was a good one. Caught the train to Oxford park station and walked up the hill. Very nice church building and gardens, and great view. Saw the cache as I approached. Nice new log book. Left a geocoin. TFTC
Found this a couple of days ago but noticed I didn't have a smiley face. Thanks for replacing the cache and taking us to this beautiful spot

It's definitely not there, we have checked a few times now. Also wondering if the owner of this cache could please check if it is there or not . Thank you
We found this geocache traveling from the SunnyCoast to Ipswich, and other cities near Brisbane and Brisbane itself

This was found on a beautiful afternoon in Brisbane
After spending the morning in the city, I went for a drive in the outer area of the town. I went to Mount Nebo and had a lovely 5 km walk in in the National Park, starting from the Walkabout Creek Visitor Centre. I saw a lot of birds After the park visit it was time to move towards the airport - and of course find a few more caches .
This was an easy find and the cache is doing fine
Thanks a lot for the cache

I came from work with a migraine this morning. After spending the day in my darkened room, sleeping, I awoke just as it was beginning to get dark. Headache was still there and I still needed a cache for the day. I had a pretty good idea where this cache would be and it wasnt far from home, so I headed here. Thank goodness, the cache was in the first place that I looked. I signed the log and headed back home to my darkened room.
Great views.. cache had a little water in it, but log book dry. Super sharp pencil as well! TFTC
Today we explored Ipswich and surrounds using geocaching as a guide.
Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache for our enjoyment.

This was quite hard to find, the clues that the hider gave were terrible: a seat with a view.
Today is travel to Mega day! So excited I was up early and on the road by 0330, travelling from Brisbane to Stanthorpe the long way via Toowoomba, Warwick and down to Tenterfield stopping everywhere in between. There were wet roads everywhere but thankfully no more rain. Many caches were found, and plenty more left for another time. Thanks to all the CO's for placing these for us to find.
On a roll with Peppa and Giraffe 18. Beautiful spot. Left Pirate Treasure. Thanks.
While Giraffe18 and Piratelinda wandered around looking I was already writing in the log... thanks for bringing us here... left a George VI shilling... seemed appropriate... tftc...
My mother lived over the road in the old Monastery at St Joseph's Villa and she always came and sat in the bench seat in the church grounds. While reminiscing we realised that there was a cache here. Not getting to Brisbane very often we felt we had to find this cache. So it seemed appropriate to leave my daughters Tinkerbell Pin and take the frog. My daughter and my mum were so close like peas in a pod. TFTC
!!!!tftc!!!!! A nice quick find today thanks for bringing me here !!! Great view!!!
We got married at this little church 4 years ago. So let the geo wife have a go first. No joy but being a touch talker found it straight away. Tftgc
Found today after getting the kids from school, lucky for the hint or I might never have found it! TFTC
Second time lucky.
Cache was right where it should have been the first time.
Lovely views from up here. Such a peaceful little cemetery.
Thanks for showing off this place, wingaap.

I was on my way home now, but the timing was bad. No point getting stuck in traffic through the city when there are plenty more caches to find
This one was only just off my route home. Lots of parking at GZ and not a soul in sight
A nice quick find at GZ thanks.

While heading here with OrionJ, we passed a unusual amount of water pouring down a wall and onto the road as we were driving down Samford Rd and thought we might have a look, down Dawson Parade we turned and ran into more water! We did a bit off a loop and tried to find the source, but it seem up here near the entrance there isn't any water! Though there is a number we can call! We dialed it in, and headed off to this cache, but gave it a miss due to a suspicious bag near GZ.
Sorry for the delay in logging. I knew exactly where this one should have been and now I knew it had been replaced, headed straight there without my phone. And as it usually goes, I then forgot about it.
Not that this should be one to forget about. It is really a spectacular location. I have spent many a childhood hour in this church. As we were a family of 5 children and would play up something funny when we were all in the mood, Mum decided to divide and conquer, taking us to a 6am Friday morning service in rotation. For 16 years, once every 5 weeks, I'd be dragged up to the church on the hill. I guess I never really appreciated the history until much later, although the winter sunrise through the stained glass has always been a favourite of mine.
My husband's family resides in Wiltshire, England, where the original Grovely (or Groveley) is found. We actually did a bit of local history research and went to find the sight of the original church that St Matthew's was modelled on. As it happens, the photos on display in St Matthew's are incorrect. Somewhere along the line, wires have been crossed. The original church no longer exists but photos do and we went to the location to compare. The now occupants of the original annex were very interested in the story and said it explained why their vegetable garden wouldn't grow on the area that was the foundations of the church. We have since given our research to the minister (and the previous minister) at St Matthew's but it seems church historians are reluctant to change their details. (I will try to attach some pictures for those who are interested.)

I love this spot so much. At night, the combination of the view towards the city and the serenity of sitting amongst the graves is incredibly peaceful. Thanks for the hide!
I had 20 mins to spare before I needed to pick up my daughter so thought I'd take a chance on this one. I have to admit I quite enjoy looking around old cemeteries and this one was no exception, lots of very old graves here.
Had to wait for a muggle across the road to leave before I could grab the cache. He was on his driveway watching me and made me wonder if he often sees people here and wonders what we're doing. Once he drove off I quickly grabbed the cache, signed the log and replaced it.

2nd attempt here and a quick find this time! Pencil needs a sharpen but besides that at all good. Left a ladybug. TFTC!

Yes! Yes! Yes! Yes! Yes! Yes!
A couple of teen lovebirds walked through the arch, so I let them settle on to the seat. They didn't see me searching nearby. A step up and the cache was in hand
A really nice little cemetery to sit and admire the garden. I can see why the locals enjoy coming in here.
Happy to have a smilie!
TFTC wingaap, and for replacing it recently Much appreciated.
