As there's been no cache to find for months, I'm archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. If you wish to repair/replace the cache sometime in the future, just contact us, and assuming it meets the guidelines, we'll be happy to unarchive it.
Unfortunately, it appears that this cache has been muggled. I have disbled it until I can get another suitable container and find a better hiding place.
I visited this cache today with Queensland cachers HawMorFords. We couldn't find it. It certinly wasn't hidden where I had found it previously. I rang pprass to confirm that my memory hadn't failed me, but he confirmed that he had found it where we were looking. I'm always loathe to say a cache is missing, especially when it's been found only three days prior to my visit. However, it looks like this one might need a cache check.
Our third DNF for the day. We looked and looked but this one managed to elude us.
We did however take the time to look at the GPSr at GZ and observe this little rarity... thanks for the fun.

Loved the synchrinocity of this one. Wish I'd thought of it myself. Cache easily found once instructions followed. Thanks Sbalogh53
Found at 2:18pm Accompanied by Chewinprickles, we decided that on the third day of spring we should go for a bike ride and what better place than along the Yarra, got this one while doing the 12 bridges on the yarra.

Found this one at 22:00 on the way home from an 86% productive evening with ssmc4. With 2 of us searching, s had the cache in hand quite quickly.
The replace took a tad longer due to GZ becoming a bicycle rest stop for a while but we were soon on our way and home in time to avoid any trouble .
TNLNSL. Thanks sbalogh53 and remember, the palindrome of "Bolton" is "Notlob" .

Found with EuDes on an evening expedition. It was a quiet night and we were just about to relace the cache when an old gent came riding very slowly around the bend and proceeded to stop for a rest and re-arrange his stuff only metres from the GZ! We waited very patiently until he got himself ready and slowly rode off again.
Nice reason for a cache - thanks sbalogh53.

Nice easy find. Yep 20m exactly. The scary bit was that there was also a lamp post and tree at the 20m mark that was mown down by a runaway car! Snapped both and there's bits of car everywhere! TNLNSL
An easy find this time, since it was lying on the ground. Now it's tucked away and has some natural cover again. Thanks for the trip, even tho' I took the long way around from Burnley station - should have come via Madden Grove!
We came to grab this one purely because it sounded like fun. It is rare to be able to get to one of these places and be rewarded with a view as well was an added bonus. We got to the area of gz and then widened our search to the cache was eventually located. We then went back to gz to try and get the numbers to match for a bit of fun but with an EPE of 25 this was not as easy as we thought it would be and after about 10 minutes we thought that we had better leave before some-one reported two old farts staring at a game-boy doing little circles in the park
Thanks sbalogh53
Thanks sbalogh53
This was the first time my kids who live nearly opposite this park had been to find a geocache. "What do we get?" "Is it worth points?" "Why do you do it?" Why indeed. Nice walk among some lovely homes. Easily found.
I prefer Pi (a quick palindrome for maths nerds)
Found easy enough, it was exposed however. I covered it up again.

Found about 1630hrs by Pickupfamily Dad. Found safely hidden away this time. I was worried for a while after I found what looked like a broken film-canister-like container, but was relived when I found the real one. Thanks sbalogh53, I enjoy your mathematically themed caches!

Found at 14:45. Flaming Tree very healthy. Lots of fresh green leaves... will flower soon I suspect. The Cache was at nominated GZ except it was just laying on the ground, exposed - blew out of its hidy-hole . Cache was still intact. SL and placed securely back into its 'poplar' position.
This was a longish trip by tram and foot and so I was disappointed by not finding it, although I searched every flaming tree within 20 metres . Alas it was not to be. Maybe I should take note of this "swimming pool" as a clue. Ah well, I'll be back...
Have been past this park many a time and never stopped. Made the effort this time. TNLNSL. Yes the swiming pool is interesting almost as interesting as the one over Flinders Lane.
14 May 06, early evening. Visiting from Canada. Was in Australia for 1 week. However, found 23 other caches in Melbourne area. Canotage
Missed this one on a visit a few months ago but found it this time after a few minutes. Perhaps I'm getting better at it? Perhaps it was the hint from someone! SL Thanks.
Found it with ease this time, and I think we might have two entries each Robmc and I. We met near here to complete another cache and Robmc found and logged it while he waited for me to arrive, then he went for a walk; I arrived, found and logged it, then Robmc came back. Therefore two entries because we both entered both our names. Never mind, great cache and idea. Thanks
Found on the second attempt. I looked there, I'm sure!
The flame tree was looking fairly ordinary, wrong time of the year for spectulactor displays. The swimming pool was interesting though.
Thanks, Robmc.

Thanks, Robmc.
Robmc and myself tried for this one with no success even after a call to Partic. A second call to Partic later when I was back at work gives me some hope for next trip but for now its a no go.
A few sbalogh53 caches have been sitting out there for a while, and I've been avoiding the majority as I wasn't finding the time to be puzzled.
This weekend I had the time, and just in passing, I thought I'd knock this one over too.
Last night was on dusk, and was frustratingly not turning up. Today, cache was quickly in hand, and as it turned out, due to neighbours to the cache drinking on their verandah, the cache location wasn't looked at to preserve stealth.
Fascinating pool across the road too. Take a look when you're there.
Thanks

Tried this one on my way home from working in the area. Sadly it is not the right time of year for flame trees to flower. After a little search of all the likely spots and then another more intense search I found what I was looking for. TNLNSL Thanks sbalogh. The palindrome concept is an interesting one.
Found the Flame tree and spent 15 minutes looking but no luck. Will try again another week.
This one is potentially tricky. No matter how accurate your GPS we are told that the cache could lie anywhere in a 20 metre radius! I did find the film canister (whew!) but it was lying on the ground in full view. I chose a suitable spot in the immediate vicinity to replace it. Thanks for an interesting concept cache.
Came back and solved this popular problem with a little macca assistance. Passing our own palindromic travel bug through for interest’s sake.
Spent fifteen minutes in the vicinity of the palindromic location looking for the cache. The flame trees have had an extraordinary year this year in Adelaide. Happens about every five years or so. Lovely and amazing. We will return.
Found at 12.15 today with no signs of any " Harry Potter cast members " about.Took only 4 mins to find and that included the 2 min drive from my business in burnley st to log the small but well hiden cache .Great view of the river from this spot with some stunning real estate around the pretty park too . TNLN...Thanks to sbalogh53 for another good cache .
This little park is in a very expensive neighbourhood. We guessed the hiding place but the whole park is very exposed (people and cars) which somewhat inhibited the search there. Fortunately the cache was quickly found at 7:15pm. It's fairly easy to see depending on the level of cover left by the previous finder and the strength of recent winds that might blow it away. We took a pink balloon and left a mini horse eraser. Thanks SBalogh53 for the cache.
This took a little bit of scratching around, I thought I would of found it a little higher than it was. I had just finished crackerjack and this put my new Tom Tom navigator to the test, I got here with no trouble, It makes caching less frustrating when you can find your way around places you dont know.
Thanks for the cache and the palindrome lesson.

Found at 12.00 noon. GAFF1. Here is a palindrome written by a famous Frenchman who was in dire need of assistance - Able was I ere I saw elba. I was taught that by an ancient english teacher when I told her that I didn't kow what ere meant. Now I know and I won't ever forget it. Went to the spot where the cache was actually located, but didn't look hard enough at first. Just as well, because I eventually saw the plaque that described the flame tree. Thanks SB53
Found by Mary & David at 1520. An interesting variation on a palindrome. Parked opposite a lovely flowering jacaranda tree, then noticed the house next to it with a lap pool featuring a water-level window to the street. Cache was quite exposed so we added some camo - it's still just visible if you look carefully. TNLN. Our thanks to sbalogh53.
Found on 20/11/05 @ 1022 AEDT. Aided by Max and the geohounds Malby and Darcy this 'relatively' easy cache should've been found a bit quicker than it was .

No problems with this cache. I followed the arrow after dropping the big girl off at school this morning and as I drove past I noted a place to park. Pulling in I was at GZ in just a moment. A pleasant view over the river this morning.
The cache was a little tricker to find as my GPSr ended up a little outside the 20m possibilities.
Took nothing, left nothing.
Thanks sbalogh53. I agree with a previous comment that this cache should be listed as a mystery as there is no cache at the given co-ordinates. Nevertheless a nice find as well as a sleeping possum who wasn't overly happy with my antics this rmorning.
"Sator Arepo Tenet Opera Rotas". Latin for Attack Possum !

I always liked riding my motorbike around this section of the Yarra - one of the last suburban stretches of road I can think of that has nice bends and no white paint, speed humps or other obstructions, so I took the opportunity of extending my ride to work this morning to get a few down this way . This cache vaguely reminded me of our 1st locationless - 'A Pair of Quintuplets', where you had to find a spot with the last 5 digits of each coord the same. I really enjoyed that one.
The cache was a pretty easy find in the 2nd object I examined.

Thanks sbalogh53 - I remember doing another of yours rather close by .

By the time I saw this cache on the net on Saturday afternoon, DAK had already blitzed the field and his log was sitting on the net - no need to rush out for a FTF. Instead, I left it until today.
I was out at a client near home this morning, so on my way back to work this afternoon I took an alternate route and stopped to have a look for this cache. I looked at all the possible hiding spots before realising I had somehow missed one major one.
Of course, that's where I eventually found it, but I had to look again when I didn't find it there the first time. Thanks for the cache. I must have a look for other similar palindromes.

Found at 3:45pm. We came to GZ in the morning but we were confused as to whether we should be looking near these co-ordinates or one of the 360 seperate palindromic co-orditates near this spot. As we could not park directly, at the approach we had taken here, and this spot had a view of the Yarra but not really "beyond", we drove on and checked out the nearest four thinking that one of them would be on a cliff overlooking the Yarra. As none of these had a geocahe placeable spot, we gave up at this point and continued onto "Steeple Chase". After talking to our "S" at home, it really sunk home that we should have made more of an effort at the original co-ordinates and we returned later for an easy find. Thanks Sbalogh53 from D,H,H & A B-A. It is a unique spot indeed.
I intended driving to Kensington to take a picture for a locationless cache (Cache Bay). Before I left home (at 1340) I checked to see if there were any new caches to be had. There weren't.
While I was in Kensington acts2youthgroup rang to say that five new caches had appeared. He sent me the coordinates of this one via SMS. When I got there, I didn't even know what the name of the cache was; only the coordinates and that it was a micro. The coordinates placed me in the middle of a grassed area (just as it says in the cache description, as it turned out). I had a quick shoofty, but the cache wasn't manifest. I rang A2YG, and he read the cache description to me. Given that the cache is not at the advertised coordinates, this cache should probably be a mystery cache.
Once I knew what I was up against, I found the cache in the second place I looked at 1505. As I only had a GPSr, a camera, and a pen with me, I made no exchange. I half expected to see Muzza or Biggles Bear pull up, but I escaped before they got there. Thanks to sbalogh53 for the cache.

"Dammit, I'm mad!"
Saw a new close cache mid-afternoon but had to wait for the Facit-ettes to finish some extracurricular activities before heading out.
e-Facit and I arrived at the park expecting to find FTF hunters all over the place but had the park to ourselves.
Started searching but within a minute we were interrupted!
"Was it a car or a cat I saw"
No, the cars just kept driving past and I saw no cats. But it was a dog and their owner. "Go deliver a dare, vile dog" Soon they had moved on and the search resumed. Find it? "I did, did I?" Yes, The cache was in hand after a short search but FTF was not mine this time.
