With dot558 travelling to visit a friend near here, Took us longer than it should haveLast for todayThanks fir the cache
11:55The third leg of three, catching public transport between Cache Crawl events, involved a train to Bendigo, then a twenty or so minute wait for the #52 bus. So while I wait, why not go and find a cache or two? This 2005 cache with a view was a perfect choice. Checking a spot from firmer terra wasn't rewarded, so I looked from a different angle and there it was. Thanks, Romax, for placing this cache, and BigSnuffler for keeping it in play.No trains were spotted in the logging of this cache. Probably because I just got off the most recent one.#9109
Caching with earthlight No trains spotted today Found in the 2nd obvious spotTftc
Found with The X-Trailers whilst waiting for a script in chemist. Cache all ok and not a train in view.TFTC
Second morning in Bendigo and after a quick visit to the art gallery time for some more caches around town. After all the action at the Discovery Centre nice to make a quick find here. Nice safe hide and so in and out quickly.TFTC Romax (and for BigSnuffler keeping it alive)
Up this way for friends 60th and found a few caches on our travels. Thanks so much for your cache Romax and to BigSnuffler for ongoing maintenance of this oldie. Regardskbucky
TB not in cache - meant to be visited not dropped. Sorry. Will get code to change when home
It was late afternoon and there was a bit of traffic near GZ and it took a few minutes to find some where appropriate to park. Fortunately a short search located the cache. Thanks to bigsnuffler for the cache.
I'm hitting the road again with my Rebel Acts and Ski Pair to have some fun and explore new places. While I don't mind caching locally, there is nothing like a road trip for a few days putting smiles on the map. I had a great time with lots of laughter and caching fun. Today's logs are signed as RASPOM.
We have set off on our annual winter escape but with no real plans other than a set of ideas. Our first stop is Bendigo, a place we haven't visited for any length of time in the past. There appears to be much to see and a good variety of caches to keep us entertained. We met up with our caching buddies Rebel Acts and Omegaman for a few days as well which added to the laughs and fun.Caches logged as RASPOM or SKI Pair if they had already found them. This is one of the caches we have found to date.Thank you for your efforts in creating and maintaining the cache Romax (adopted by BigSnuffler).**SKI Pair****
Found with Grubbs1337, Snowy27 and ITWimdy. ??A great day out with Dad and his mates. Thanks for the cache ??
Nice little hide be careful if bringing kids a bit how you going but nice hide none the lessTFTC
Travel day today from St Arnaud to Melbourne. No real plans but a stop here and there as we felt like it.Third stop for the day and well worth the stop. #9680
On our evening in Bendigo after a lovely meal we headed out on a caching expedition. Lucky no one in sight or trains in the vacinity. TFTC
Nice, easy find after a DNF several years ago. All in good condition. TFTC
Initially searched in the wrong spot but managed to home into the right location. TFTC!
Out shopping and decided to look for a nearby cache, and was pleased to find this one. SL TFTC
An adventure it was for my first find on Christmas Day and my first find in Greater Bendigo. Public transport is free throughout Victoria on Christmas Day so I thought I might check off some LGAs after having to cancel a camping trip due to rain. 1 for 3 now on Christmas as I have two more LGAs to complete today.
Great hide, unfortunately it was being guarded by an eight legged friend so didnt log :p
Today we explored Bendigo and surrounds using geocaching as a guide. We enjoyed travelling through the countryside and visiting new, to us, locations. We found a variety of hides with varying degrees of difficulty.A quick find at GZ.Many thanks to all CO's for your cache placement.
TFTC SL - Spending a few days in Bendigo with the girls for a golf holiday but Im injured and cant play, so happy to cache
Found while visiting family here in Bendigo. It truly is a great trainspotting location. TFTC
Lots of trouble with the app with the coordinates jumping around but took a little wander around the area and checked out previous logs and luckily soon found the cache as it was getting dark. Cache and log in good order. Tftc.
Had a few strategic caches on the list whilst the car was here for it's service. This was one of them.
Thank you Romax for always providing so much fun. Cache found in good condition.

Stopped here on the way home, after some retail therapy. I actually made a quick find but as I was signing the logbook a group of teenagers on the other side of the tracks started hurling abuse at me. Waaaaay too explicit to repeat here but I stuffed the cache in my pocket & allowed Geolabradog to sniff around. I scowled at them but didn't retaliate (such self control) & waited until they ran out of insults & alternative names for me before replacing the cache.
From the safety of the car (where thankfully Geoteen had stayed listening to her recent purchase) we could see a large group who appeared to be smoking bongs. An on-the-spot Crime Stopper report was submitted & we were on our way.........
Hopefully nobody else is subjected to this behaviour. Many thanks for maintaining this cache

TFTC Romax, found on my week working in Bendigo. Enjoying walking around & discovering all the lanes & nooks!
✓ Kurung thanks you for the cache!
✓ Found and Signed 25/5/23
Quickie today after the train on a short walk for some work business. Came down here a few months ago and got the other cache near the Discovery centre, but couldn't find the time for both in a mad rush. Due to the trains being infrequent, I had time to kill before today's agenda started. Went over and found right away, but didn't spot any trains.

What better thing to do with my public holiday than look for caches?! This was a good find once on the correct elevation.
We came up for the One scoop or 2 event yesterday and stayed overnight, so after checking out of the accomodation we set off for some early morning caching before it got too hot. This was next on our list and as we were approaching GZ, JMelb was using c:geo and saw we had logged a write note on this cache back in 2012 when we were going to look but were thwarted by a steam train arriving at the station and muggles in force. We have absolutely NO memory of this at all ... we're officially getting old lolol Anyway at GZ GMelb laid his hands on the hide pretty quickly and we were on our way.

When I had another look at this cache to see if there was any clue as to whether we needed the high road or the low road, I noticed how old the cache is. We did make the find and RebelActs stopped to say hello but I want to thank the CO for placing this cache and maintaining it for so long.
Geoturtle37 was on one level and I was on the other. Guess who found it? Rebel Acts recognised us and the geovehicle and stopped to say G'day. Thanks for the cache.
Took this photo as I was walking back over the bridge to the shopping centre carpark. A nice well kept cache. TFTC
Quickly grabbed this one. Watch for rusty nails near cache. TFTC happy international geocaching day!!!
This cache has been around almost as long as I have been caching, it was a must find.
Quick find, once at correct level.

Thanks

A fabulous day of caching with Posums around Bendigo saw us at this cache. Thankfully a quick find with no one around. Many thanks
Staying up at Castlemaine for the weekend and I mentioned to GemmaSistema that I would be staying up this way, so Gemma made a trip up to here and we met up in the morning and then spent a fantastic day around the outer suburbs of Bendigo.
Plenty of laughs, Bush tracks, a couple of Lab caches thrown in and of course lots of other caches found along the way, ending with a couple of pizzas for tea in the Castlemaine Botanical Gardens
A great day out was had.
Well this was the last one for Bendigo as it was time to head back to Castlemaine and a bit to eat.
Well what do you know another Romax cache.
I have enjoyed finding a lot of his caches up here today and I must say some of them were very sneaky and tricky.
Of course I looked in the wrong spot again as Gemma found the right one Again.
Thanks Romax TFTC.

TFTC! Not too many muggles around. Reasonably quick find on a day caching with aunty_crystal!
It was fun trying to find it and going down into the railway tracks was something we haven't done
PLEASE NOTE: there is absolutely NO need to go onto the tracks or near to them. The cache is NOT near the tracks. Please Do NOT go near the tracks.
Out and about with VicJam. Didn't take long to find this due to how many eyes we had. Thanks,
