Found the garden and the stump, matching the text. Even found an empty zip-lock plastic bag there- but no cache!
Had a good look where the cache was supposed to be, where is wasn't supposed to be and a few other likely spots. No luck, I think it has walked. Nice spot though, deserves a cache.
Wanted to have a search but location was ridiculously populated on the two occasions I went past
Sorry I had a good look for this one so I could replace it back to where it should be but I couldnt locate it. Cheers Bo
NOTE THE CACHE HAS BEEN REPLACED IN THE WRONG SPOT.
(Is in a patch of garden between the river & the toilet, to the left of the
drive, under a stump.)
Could the next cacher to find it please replace at the co-ords and under some rocks THANKS

Quick find - I am really surprised this cache has lasted the test of time in such a busy spot but I am very glad it has. TFTC (749)
A quick find for this one. We made sure to cover it up a little better than it was when we found it. TNLN TFTC
Nice spot. Cache location obvious, but cachebox very exposed. Managed to cover it a bit more. Thanks and cheers from Grandalf(1581)
Layed eyes on this cache about 18 months ago, but there were too many muggles about. Driven past countless times since and finally we got to open the cache. Logging the visit two weeks after the event is a bit long, but not as long as this cache has been tempting us. Great spot, might even stay a night here sometime. TFTC, TNLN

An easy find in the dark on the way through. Pity we didn't have time to fish. Thanks for bringing us to another great spot.
I found a lot of caches with my Dad - Biggles - and never logged these online. Now I've got my own account, its time to set things straight. Thanks for all the fun, Flying Phoenix.
Doing a few caches out this way today and came here from the one across the river. Right time to check the printout. What no coords on it? Bother only one not to print out ok today - no smartphone reception out here either. Well back to manual search methods. Lil' Stu spotted GZ easily enough, whew. TFTC, Biggles.
I had no details of this cache apart from the coords. The cache was an easy find for the coords were very accurate. The logbook is in a sad state of repair (all loose pages) and needs replacing. TNLN T4TC.
Found this cache with my personal travel bug Ice Age Scrat along our 3 moths trip around the whole New Zealand,

Too many muggles today. A couple settled well into their camping chairs and enjoying the view were giving us such a looking-over that we decided discretion was the score today. Had a look past after picking up 'Salmo Truttle', but no change so off towards Blenheim. Next time.
One of 3 caches which I found some months ago but my log entry has dissappeared.
I will edit the date found once I have been able to revisit GZ and check the cache logbook.

Great shady spot for a rest stop. A sleeping muggle who took no notice of us certainly thought it was too!
12.40pm. One of eleven drive by's on the way from Nelson to the Ferry. Picked up the T.B.
Thank you. David and Noeline.

Quick find on the way from Blenheim to Nelson. Thanks for the cache and greetings from Sweden. Also took two GC but discovered that they were not to be moved, so I went back and put them in the can again.
[d8] picked this cache up on way home from weekend in the sounds. Kobies first find
A nice stop along the way to d'Urville. Dropped off 2 geocoins and when we can find the tracking numbers will log these. Opps!
A nice spot for a picnic and a swim in the river. Well worth a stop. TFTC.

We were lucky to arrive at this pleasant reserve at a peaceful time, thanks for the small detour.
More by good luck than good management. Too cold for me to swim as yet.
Have been there many times in the past after the Rai Show to cool off.

Found nice and easy, on way back from bach. Last time we tried there were too many campers, this time only one, but they were out. TFTC
I've found your cache!
Recently I had a bit of spare time in the upper end of the South Island and I managed to find a large number of geocaches. Unfortunatly due to an unexpected trip to Australia for family reasons I was called away from my Nelson adventures.... Now three weeks on I'm having to sit back and log the piles of caches that I did manage to find while I was down there. As there were a large number of caches, I've decided to throw in a generic log for all but a few of them.
Being a North Islander I was surprised at the sheer number of (glow in the dark) polar bears living in the upper South Island - I really didn't think it was that cold down there. And if I had of cottoned on eariler I could have traded for pretty much an entire chess set, one peice at a time. As it was I tended not to trade geo-junk but I did move a small number of geocoins around.
Of the caches I found I could not possibly choose a favorite but there are certainly both some challenging and very rewarding caches in the area. The best caches tend to be the ones where the owner has put in a bit of extra effort or extra thought into the challlenge and design of the cache, thanks to all those who did. I was pleased to see some new and interesting ideas around as well.
Warmest Regards,
Bobo.

A quick find on a leisurely trip to Picton. Quite a little gathering of caches in this tranquil area.

Too bad we already ate as this would be a nice place for a picnic. We enjoyed the efforts somebody had made to plant flowers all over. Really pretty spot. Thanks. TNLN.
Another lovely spot - we had a picnic lunch and mr matmob even caught a trout on a fly! (A rainbow though, not a brown - and never mind that it was only about 6" long!) Took nothing, left TB. TFTC
One of our favourite picnic areas during our tour through NZ. Everything is there: A charming place at the riverbanks, some odd-looking trees and some even more odd-looking cows . Enjoyed this place really a lot! Thanks!
Good find on way to Nelson. Lovely spot water cold. Minus snake and lamb plus plastic link cirle and yowie-bird.
Been here twice for this one. Both times there have been muggles settled in guarding the cache. We'll be back.
Found on way back from D'Urville Island with the help of a couple of friends - lovely little reserve.
river pretty brown today after two days of rain. No trout dammit! looks like a right spot!

Good spot - the locals were a bit hungry - quick grab and go with noone around.
Woohoo! Last log of 53 log entries after my kiwi caching adventure. Thanks for the hide.
The chickens sighted on October 3 had gone and there was no one about. Still too nippy to stop for 'morning smoko'. GPS was spot on. Visited another cache across this beautiful river some time ago. Thanks for this cache.

Mrs B didn't get a good run in with the GPS, but would have been muggled out anyway. Back again after doing another cache down the road, had a picnic beside the river for lunch & then turned on the GPS again - this time, much better reception & a nice easy find! TFTC
17:23 No 22. Ha! Who said that it is only a Bay of Plenty thing to have chickens in rest areas? Here were two that may have migrated South! TNLNSL. Thanks.
Easy find; muggle free on arrival. However, when signing the log book, a van drove up. So we had to be careful putting the cache back in its place.

12th cache for the day. A very obvious cache location, spotted it from about 20 meters away. Nice park. TFTC

Beautuful spot, on a great autumn day. The birds were twittering away happily. Found the cache easily enough. TNLN, TFTC.

Visting from San Francisco Bay area, California, and touring the northern cap of South Island, geocaching along the way. At this point we're leaving Anakiwa and making our way to Nelson. Lovely spot and with no apparent hint, I had to use my detective skills to figure out the most reasonable place it might be and my GPSr took me right to it. Hubby had fun skipping rocks on the river. A couple muggles ambled by, but I was stealth. TN, left US coins. TFTC!
Easy find, located cache without retrieving on my way to sounds then did log/swap on way back. Parking the van properly helps a lot to block out muggles

A good lunch stop on the way from Picton to Nelson for a yachting regatta. Introducing Gerry to the art of Geocaching. Took Screw Driver for boat tool box and added a key chain. Cheers
Nice easy find on a very hot day. Off to Tennyson Inlet for the afternoon and will do nearby cache on the way back.
