Thyla & Thylo, Drove past here this evening at around 5:45pm, and as I was the last to place this cache, thought I'd have a look. Definately nothing left of this one, but please beware if you go to check yourselves, as not all the wildlife in the area has perished....there is a snake..(possibly a brown or copperhead) now living or sheltering under that rock! That rock is pretty much the only thing within coo-wee anything has got to shelter under now.
The dangers of caching out of area. I pulled in here this morning and thought I would be amazed if the cache was still there, the roof of the shelter is now one foot off the ground. There is no sign of the cache but the ground is scorched under the large rock so I would think it is gone.
I'll upload some pics shortly.

Had a heads up that this one may be destroyed. Will check it as soon as possible and re-activate if necessary or archive. Thanks for the info.

Located at 12 noon. Looks like those donut vans have moved on to greener pastures! Took aeroplane and umbrella, left smiley eraser and whistle. Many TFTC!
Our first for the day on the way to Sydney.
Nearly walked off with the pen, but realised soon enough and put it back. Unfortunately couldn't find any donuts

Left Recycled - Denmark Sprinter GC.
Is in need of a new log book.

A bit messy on the way in. Some people have no care at all. I like caches at rest stops, but there always seems to be people about, not a problem with this one. Thanks.

Nice chance for a rest stop - shame that some idiot has recently dumped a huge amount of rubbish in the gully nearby.

A quick stop to stretch the legs and to check out the new cache location. We'd found this cache at the previous location 10 km south of here back in Jan '07. Dropped in TB’s (Don't) remove before flight & The Connecticut Cup - Rainbow. SL at 9:15am. Thanks again Thyla & Thylo for the cache. Regards, 38degsouth.
Must've forgotten to log this one. Found on the way up to Shepparton. TNLN. Thanks.
Well this cache seems to have eluded me for some time I have driven past here so many times but for some reason or another never stopped to pick up the cache. After attending a course in Melbourne I managed to pick this one up in the dark on the return trip back to Shepparton I found this cache with Rhys it was his 1st find Making him the 39th person I’ve introduced to the world of caching Thankyou for the hide no swaps made and apologies for the late log.
Pulled up here for a break on the way back home to make a coffee and also to find a cache. Did that no worries but couldn't find any donuts. A good place to stop and stretch the legs.
We started our geocaching roadtrip at 9:30 with a DNF here!
Looks like an easy find next time we come through this way again with a GPSr in working order.

This was a lovely stop point for provisions on the way up to Wodonga. Took March Madness Geocoin to drop off in Sydney. Left glass Easter Egg. TFTF
Found this one while on the way to a living history weekend near Glenrowan, Had to wait about 10 mins for a muggle to move on.
Took Nothing
Left Geocoin which has already been moved on before I had a chance to log it!
No sign of the FTF geocoin though

I'm guessing there must be a mobile van that sells Dounuts here occasionally, because there were not Dounuts (or coffee) in sight today. I do not think this cache could be any easier especially with the additional hint.
An easy find while on our trip to Mount Stirling from Melbourne. Only a few muggles about, who kept to their picnic and ignored us.
Took shark and comic geo-coin. Left Doll.
No donuts today. Darn. We were looking forward to a reward for our find!
The log book is definitely full and could use replacing.

Having left Melb with no waypoints in the GPSr, but with some info in the Palm, I had to search the database for a while to find the relevant coords and info. Finding the info gave me time to wait for the trucks and caravans to drive off and leave me alone.
A quick find once the muggles had departed.
No donuts to be had.
Left TB "Its a Jandal not a thong"

This was our last stop on the way home. Funnily enough we missed this one on the way up North as we hadn't turned on the GPS in time. So despite it being on the "wrong" side of the road a very determined Harlips did the naughty U-Turn and found their way back to this one. A quick traipse through the grass and bushes later and the cache was easily located. We took a torch carribeaena and left a car.
And thus endeth the Australia Day weekend cache hunt.
Thanks T & T

We are in the process of moving this cache due to closure of the area very soon for the construction of a golden arches restaurant. Sorry for any inconvience. Thyla and Thylo.
We usually stop here for reasons other than caching! Now today we could meet everyone's needs. Not too many people around a this time, so we tagged teamed it from the car and D eventually came up with the cache. I looked earlier but was a little way off with my coordinates. TFTC. Cheers.

Dropped in to pick up TB Zach's Lady to move it further north - and of course to have me a couple of those donuts too! Thankyou..
How many times I've past bye, If ya ain't stopped b4 take a break. Long live the little guy.
The guy selling donuts has an equally important job as the stuffy white collar worker in any big city, for he is in charge of the hole department. Coords had me aprox 30mtrs
over shot of where I found cache. Yet gps tolerance was down to 5mtrs. seemed a bit too strange. Yet most will find or walk right past gz. TFTC TNLN,SL left zacs lady TB to continue her journey, hopefully along one of the gr8 train routes.

EuDes kindly stopped off here on our foray to find the historic "Melbourne's 1st". The 3 kids appreciated the stop and the goodies we bought there, however if a previous finder's comments are true it will be quite sad to see this little spot swallowed up by the big multinationals. We found the cache at around 12:15 on a sunny Sunday.
T: Kinder surprise toy, stickers, TB Ms Piggy (she needs to see some more of Australia)
L: glitter glue, highlighter.

Nipped back for this one as I was going the other way, It's a popular spot in there. I had a look around but no sign of the cache, there is some nearby tree damage that may explain this. I couldn't look too hard as there were too many muggles hanging around, I hope it's still there.

P.S. No sign of the Geocoin listed.
P.P.S. This may need to be archived in the near future, as the "Donut Store" has been told to leave, as a B.P. & McDonalds are moving in on this site.

Stray Kate made me log this DNF because I elicited the curiosity of muggles. After enjoying some donuts I looked for the cache on the pretence of collecting rubbish. A full bag later and I still hadn't found it so with a long drive ahead of us we had to give up. As we departed muggles took a keen interest in the area. Fingers crossed they didn't succeed where I failed so I'll be keen to to see this legged found soon.
Found finally! on the way up to Bright for the weekend. We've driven past this one wayyy to many times. No donuts brought today but thanks for the stop anyway.

Found by edmil & maddie. A long way from home and in need of sustenance made this cache a good offering. While maddie was off getting the goodies, I went in search of the cache, which was found quickly. TNLN thanks for the cache. Didn't buy donuts but definitely stocked up on other food that doesn't really meet the standard of healthy.

The new GPS picked this one up on the way home, so I called in to log it. My coords had me 10m out, but it was found eventually. The place was very quiet today, it won't be when this area gets turned into a McRubbish outlet (that's the rumour!).

On the drive back home to Sydney from Melbourne, this was my first stop. Hmmm, the hot jam donuts were just the thing on a cold Boxing Day morning. Collected the Snowman TB.
A nice break for the drive to Wagga Wagga for the break.
Worked out well, a stop for the kids before heading to Seymour for dinner.
It was fairly warm when we arrived, but absolutely chucking down the rain by the time we left.
Dropped Mr Snowman TB off, since we'd had him for WAY too long.
Took Horse.
