Noticed the bridge had been cleaned of vines and on closer inspection the cache was missing - probably removed by council workers???
Thought I'd try a few caches on the bike this morning for PT.
DNFed today so I'll try again another time.

Wow, my first GC! Took my daughter along to help and she sussed it out. Am inspired to do my own now, thanks Wingaap.
Searched at night but unable to locate - thought it would be easy for a first timer ! Oh well, will keep on trying.
Third time lucky, I suppose. Had to resort to hint this time. Faaaaar too many muggles around, even on dusk for a thorough search to be performed.
Spied cache as I neared GZ. JUst had to wait for a break in mid morning walkers. TFTC
We took abit of time finding this sucker, well hidden, and a lovely little park to boot. Thanks for bringing us here.
Nice container too

Guessed correctly where this might be hidden but it still took a little while to actually find it.
Good hide, many thanks.

I had attempted this once before and when I read the logs I realised it was out of action. Finally made it back today and had no troubles at all. TFTC
This was the third (and last thank goodness) walk of shame today for Mr Stinky Bill who DNF this one last week
Lucky that Mrs Stinky Bill came out to play today who found this one in no time at all

Dropped by tonight on the way home from a geocaching get together. Not a muggle in sight so I was able to search in earnest. Hmmm geocache creep I think the call it.
The cache has been rehidden as originally placed.
After a couple of dnfs I dropped by to check on the cache. I didnt find it ie it certainly isnt where it was originally placed. As it was muggle central this afternoon I really didnt have the opportunity to have a real 'cacher look'.
I'll wait until I hear from the cacher that found it today before taking any further action.
We were nearing the end of our list of caches to do today. We have had a 100% hit rate for the day and this one was no exception. after searching around the panel with vegation we found it little in the open olthough still well hidden.
The clue was very helpful,so found quickly. If a dog drank from the creek at the moment it would be "dog died here". TFTC
DNFed this twice in the one day, once in the daytime, and once after dark. Even the clue didn't help. I'm obviously missing something.
Cleverly hidden - took some thought to dig this one out. Geokids swapped treasure for treasure. TFTC.
Out caching with Rastas today cleaning up a few caches. Quite a few Muggles around. TFTH
What a lovely day for caching and exploring yet again some parts of Brisbane never seen before. Thanx for leading us here.

Another quick but nervous find. Talk about being under the spotlight. It's plenty bright enough here at 9pm, that's for sure. TN/LN/SL.
Yet another Wingaap cache was found. You are such a prolific hider Wingers - where would our 24 hour run have been without Wingaap caches to find. What fun we had. Thanks for the cache.
Found after a bit of a search at 1630hrs. Very few muggles today compared to 0600hrs on Monday.

Found it this time Third time lucky - at least my previous failures were because the cache wasn't actually there! A cute little bear in there, wish I had bought something to swap. TFTC
Well this is just soooo much easier to find when it is actually there!
After a couple (make that three, or was it four) searches I messaged wingaap via posthaste ... really need to get over that bashfulness and log the dnf!

After a visit from PostHaste a couple of days ago where PH reported a dnf I ventured out to check out the cache.
The cache was missing
It's now been replaced and is ready to find.
Happy hunting!
Muggled off the first visit and the second. Constant stream of visitors interupted the seeking and peeking. No cigar today.
Great one, didn't take long to find but enjoyed the search and the hiding place was smart.
Got this one today.
I had searched for this before without luck.
The cache had crept a little from its original location, so thanks wingaap for actually finding it and placing it back where it should have been.

We had to wait for a break in the bike traffic but then found the cache fairly quickly. I had to get Mr Eventful to remove it...some magnetic force! TFTC.
Had just started looking for it when 'clip-clop' walked past and asked me if I was looking for this cache. Turned out she "knew" the owner, and quickly gave him a call. After a few minutes wingaap came and introduced himself. He gave me a few hints - can't wait to tackle the remaining 90 or so of his caches tomorrow!
Thanks, clip-clop for your help with this cache, and thanks wingaap for hiding this one and for the tips!

Found while in company of the Owner... Seems there has been some cache creep, and took ages to find.
Not to worry.. Nice to finish on a find after a couple of DNF's

Thanks for the clue. Don't think we would have found it otherwise. Unfortunately no ducks around today for the geokids to watch.

Even now that I've come back and read the cache details and logs I reckon I was looking in the right spot. Well, clearly almost but not quite. I hate bridge hides. It's hard to look innocious lying prone on a bridge. I'm much too old for pooh sticks. Well, I ought to be anyway...

Found it right on dusk. 16/17 for the day. Muggle family stopped on bridge to admire creek so we had to be super stealthy. TFTC.
A nice easy find now we know where Winaap likes to hide his bridge caches. Was geowife's first find of the day.

This cache was find number 24 of 102 finds I did with Dtay for our record attempt on Saturday 18 November 2006.
We were here at 05:50 hours.
We took a wrong turn and ended up here rather than Sandwich - oh well were here now, doesn't matter which order we do them in.
Bridge is starting to get a little overgrown near the cache site, but Dave had no trouble finding the cache - In fact he found a digital pedometer as well - if its your contact me (it wouldn't fit in the cache)
TFTC - now we go to Sandwich

Found by Sunshine Toledo at about 4pm today. The cache is safe and well and was found easily once I had the correct end of the bridge. Getting down the slope was a bit tricky. TFTC TNLNSL
Nice little spot over the creek. Easy to see how a geokid could have trouble removing from its hide. TFTC
Couldn't find it on 1st visit
Crossed the bridge on the way to #1's cricket training so
though we'd give it a quick shot on the way home.
After a break in foot, car and cycle traffic we made a snatch and grab then back to the car to sign the log.
Ohhhh, I could feel my sons disapointment, nothing in cache but the log book.
We Placed in a small polished stone and the huge sum of 5c(Don't everyone rush now)
When replacing the cache a jogger came out of nowhere , stopped and started doing up his shoelaces - Oh no - We drove a small distance away U-turned and we spotted him jogging again - confident the cache is still safe.

Note: Adacache and I, accompanied by Wingaap, searched the cache site for several mins looking for this sneaky lil hide. The cache is very well hidden from prying eyes and we can see how this one can be an absolute bear to find. Even with Bruce egging us on, the cache still took a few mins for us to locate it. LOL! Thanks for the acrobatics and belly laughs we had here!

Tenth of fifty cache finds for the day, on my fly in fly out visit. I found the cache at 11:50. Luck was on my side to day I could see the cache as I walked towards the bridge. I did not see the southern cross or smell any dead dogs. Thanks Wingaap for the cache.
Finally found this one. Had a look for it earlier in the day, only to give up due to alot of activity around the area. Came back later in the day and found it - thanks to miss_K's keen spotting. Thats one tough magnet!
I tried one side of the bridge, astrogirl tried the other...she found it, but found it hard to dislodge!
had a look yesterday afternoon - gave up with too much muggle traffic around ... alot easier today ... TFTC wingaap
Number 6 out of 14 today. The funny part happened when 5 year old kept pulling at the cache while up on the bridge. After mustering all his mite, it let go and he went flying and yapping while in the air about how strong the said afixing was. TFTC
Thankfully, there were very few people around today. A wonderful day for caching with the Micro-Geeks. Thank you Wingaap for another great cache. The kids still get excited by all this!

Found the right location, had to wait a few minutes for some elderly muggles to move on. Retrived cache, then dropped lid. Bugger. So down in the creek I go. Got it, climbed out, signed log and replaced.
Found it after a bit of a search. This was a good find with some nice cover. Thanks Wingaap
Stealth mode Level 2 used for the first time today. Took a while to find the right spot.
We pulled up near gz but could not do any searching as there were two RACQ vehicles pulled up having a bit of a chat. We basically watched the ducks until they decided to depart. Once we had the area to ourselves the cache was located after a brief search

The only difference to the sandwich was this time I had to help some other young local cyclists across the road. The rest was as before with the kids doing the hard yards.
Very strong magnet wingaap. You were right muggles everywhere - we were warned. Pity we missed the offer of coffee here, but as we were meeting you at the Coffee Club...........
