### **OWNER MAINTENANCE REQUIRED PLEASE** ###
----------
Hi there piglet*,
This cache has been flagged by Geocaching HQ as a cache that **MAY** need some attention. You would have received an automated email from Geocaching HQ recently which explained what needs to be done.
Unfortunately, nothing seems to have happened, so I am having to take the next step and temporarily disable the cache - see here: [**Geocache Health Score.**](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=713) .
**Can you please respond to this situation (or indicated your intention) within 14 days,** so others know exactly what is happening with this cache?
You have lots of choices so pick the one that applies from this handy list:
- Check on the cache, repair and/or replace the cache or do whatever else is needed, post an [**Owner Maintenance log**](http://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=404) indicating the cache has been checked and [**ENABLE your cache.**](https://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=235 ) Then sit back and wait for the praises.
- If you really hope to get it fixed but there is some unusual reason why you can't do it soon, then at least post a Write Note log (within 14 days). Be sure to indicate the actual date that you expect to have it fixed so that everyone knows you are on top of it. For ongoing issues (where you don't have an actual date) please ensure you visit the page and post a note every 28 days so as to keep everyone up to speed.
- If you don't plan on fixing it then you could consider passing it on to another geocacher by asking them to [**Adopt it**](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=54) or alternatively, you need to [**Archive it,**](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=56) so it is removed from searches and someone else can have the spot. Don't forget to remove any remnants of your previously enjoyed cache too.
You might wonder what happens if you don't pick one of those. Well, if nothing happens, then a few weeks from today, when I next look at the cache page, it is likely that I will, unfortunately, have to de-list (Archive) it on the basis that it has been abandoned.
Honestly, I'd rather you decide, so please do something before then. Please don't send me an email but instead follow the information/advice posted above.

Wasn't going to attempt to find, grass way to high which equals snakes to me, path not defined enough.
Well, this was a big fat goose egg for me today All that tramping through long grass only to find nothing (except for possibly a possum hiding inside the bridge?) Methinks this cache may be due for archiving... but at least it was a nice adventure!
This cache has been on my bucket list for several years since I went about the search in the completely wrong place. After driving past this bridge several times a week over the last 2 years and seeing a "green" symbol instead of a smilie, I decided that today was the day to give it another try. Lo and Behold it was dry around the area and after bush bashing a little found the elusive little blighter.

Out Geocaching with StargazerD. After a bit of tram paling we found the cache. Thanks. Silkyie.
Out Geocaching with Silkyie. Sixth find of the day. Did not suspect where it was. Thanks.
In the area with gwd.aussie working on my calendar stats which brought us here. In this case it fills a gap in my finds by hidden month. Parked up the track and was upset by the rubbish dumped in area as we approached the gz. Making our way through the grass we were thankful for the time of year as I definitely do not want to encounter a snake. gwd.aussie has found this cache previously so left it up to me to undertake the search. In the end it was a quick find.
Thanks piglet*

I had a lot of fun finding this cache, an easy cache to find, but the search was not the highlight, GZ at the old bridge was amazing and im glad brought my camera with me, i managed to get some really great shots.
I parked my car up the hill a little on a small track so as not to impede traffic, but sadly this seems to be the place alot of people dump rubbish and part of this rubbish was sharp which turned out to require a tyre change.
But with the puncture issues aside, i really enjoyed this cache and the walk down the track and approach to GZ from west side of the bridge was alot of fun.
Thanks for the cache.

Couldnt resist this one being big pooh fans. No water to play pooh sticks though but a cache instead
Took the geokid out here and was quite an adventure to gz. Absolutely disgusting the amount of rubbish in this place. People are pigs. Anyway nice cache here. Took an awesome photo TFTC
Easy find. Water in container but log was dry in bag. Found with geobuddies tb142 and kezza 1211. Tftc
That was a fun one getting here through the grass. What a shame creeps dump their rubbish in the bush.
On the way back from some training in I had to do in Drouin I had time to look for a couple of caches and went the back way so I could find the caches in this area. Once I found the place to park I made my way though the vegetation and found GZ, within a few moments I had the cache in hand. TFTC
Bit of a walk through some long grass. Pity about the scum who think it is ok to dump rubbish in the bush.

Sorry Piglet, but before 8am in the cold wet fog we couldn't find the correct trail to get to the GZ. Found 1 or 2 trails thru the extremely long wet grass, and after my daughter and I tried a 4wd track covered in dozens of car loads of rubbish we called in a morning.
Perhaps another time, and did love the old bridge.

What a cute but in disrepair little bridge! This cache had been on my radar for ages but after previous logs I always wrote it off as probably not there or that I wouldn't find it. Today however after seeing that some kind geocachers have adopted this unloved cache I went looking and found it easily enough. There doesn't seem to be an easy way in there but I bush bashed my way through and once there it was an easy find. Thanks very much to the sims_family for their restoration of this cache and allowing my signature to finally be placed in this one!
Enabling cache. This cache would seem to have had some belated action on behalf of the CO by a good Samaritan, so it lives for another day.
Found this earlier today and thought we would do our good deed for the day. As previous logs have stated the log book was beyond repair. The container was also disgusting and not water tight so a visit to the supermarket and we purchased a new airtight container, a new log book, pen and a zip lock bag.
Now the cache is fit for finding again and can be reenabled so everyone can witnesses this extremely old bridge.
It looks like the CO has abandoned this cache and as lovers of old bridges who do vistit this area regularly, we would be happy to adopt this if anyone has contact with the CO to pass on our willingness to help.

Found it today but the log book is unsignable. Hope to replace the book tonight with a zip lock bag to protect it. Will sign it then.
### **MAINTENANCE REQUIRED?** ###
I notice from recent log entries that this cache would seem to be in need of owner intervention as there are one or more comments in regard to the state of the cache log. It leads one to the contention that the cache container is no longer weather proof. Therefore I am temporarily disabling it so as to stop it showing up on search lists and to give the owner an opportunity to check on the cache, and take whatever action is necessary.
A basic tenet of geocaching is that **the cache log needs to be signed to record a find,** see here: [Logging of All Physical Geocaches](http://www.geocaching.com/about/guidelines.aspx#logging). At the moment this would seem to be extremely difficult if not impossible to meet that requirement in regard to this cache.
Prompt attention by cache owners to any log that indicates anything could be amiss is greatly appreciated by all seekers. The guideline advises; ***"if you can't check/fix it straight away then Disable it till you can."*** see here: [Owner is responsible for visits to the physical location,](http://www.geocaching.com/about/guidelines.aspx#cachemaintenance ) and here's how; [Temporarily Disable and Enable,](http://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=235) also check out this Blog: [Helpful Tips To Keep In Mind As A Geocache Owner.](http://www.geocaching.com/blog/2015/03/you-hid-your-first-geocache-now-what/)
Please respond to this situation by **23rd August** to prevent the cache from being archived for non-responsiveness. If you require more time, please be sure to post a "Write Note" log (not an email) explaining the situation and how much more time you require.
**And don't forget,** once you have addressed the issue, post both an "Owner Maintenance" log, see here; [Removing the Needs Maintenance Icon](http://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=404) and an "Enable Listing" log, see here; [Temporarily Disable and Enable](https://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=235 ) to get your cache up and running again.

Belive i could see where it was but area was flooded and was not going the extra few meters to look
Great hide, (needs maintenance badly) with Wil1782 being the one to find it, along with RockMaster and I. Tftc.
Excellent hide!! Wil1782 found it, after a nice short trek thru the scrub! Mosquitoes had a feast while we were there! Top spot though.

Heading down to Traralgon today to attend the 1 Month to Mega event in Newman Park, might as well get a few more caches on the trip there and back.
Found in the open away from where the hint indicated as though it had been washed there by flood waters, log book was very wet. I managed to get the log signed and replaced the cache to what appeared to be the somewhat correct location before I was carried away by monster mozzies. CO should probably recheck cache location.
Thanks for placing this cache piglet*

A great day out caching with SQAU.
We headed west to find new caches.
Not a very nice walk to the hide, a lot of rubbish and long grass.
This is the 4th cache of the day.
This is my 1209th cache all up.
Thank you for the hide piglet*

lucky to find it almost got bowled over by a kanga that came bouncing through the bushes ( I thought of the velocorapters in jurrassic park ) turned right under the bridge & missed me by 1 meter as I was busy searching for cache, anyway time a toilet break. TFTC
Very wet == it has been wet for ages according to the other logs ...
... was on the ground in the middle of no where.
... was on the ground in the middle of no where.
Found with A, N & J.
It was just lying on the ground. I have put it where I think it should go but I'll check with the owner.
The log book was soaked. Everything wet. This cache needs some love and attention.
While trying to get to GZ we had to walk through v long grass. J was third in line (after me then N) yet he was still the one who came face to face with a sizeable snake.
Snake fled. And J ran in the opposite direction -- through a barb wire fence!!
It was funny to watch!!!
Not bitten luckily.

READ THIS IF YOU ARE GOING TO FIND THIS CACHE!!!
Funny how you would approach something differently if you knew all the facts ....
We found this cache after walking through VERY long grass (with black berries) ... and had the unfortunate experience of almost standing on a snake .. and when we arrived there, the cache was on the ground exposed to the weather .. and very wet inside.
Reading through the previous posts ... this is exactly what everyone else has found .. including walking past lots of rubbish, through long grass to find a wet cache.....
BEWARE OF SNAKES
YOU WILL NEED TO WALK THROUGH LONG GRASS
THERE IS LOTS OF RUBBISH IN THE AREA ... some not so pleasant
THERE ARE BLACKBERRIES IN THE GRASS
.. OH ..AND WHEN YOU GET THERE.. THE CACHE IS WET.
..... not the most pleasant cache to get to.

Searched by torchlight with N and J.
Clearly not a suitable night time cache!!!
We'll return in daylight.
We did see a possum though!!
That made up for no possum at Possum Hide.

Couldnt even get close to this one...had to walk over rubbish and past a dead cow and fermenting pools of water but still had no success!
Found this cache hidden by 'thislittlepig's sister 'piglet'!
Took eraser, left Hawthorn Football Club lanyard.
Some water damage, I have put the cache a little higher up above the watermark. (Still under bridge)

Last day of holidays so we thought we'd squeeze in a few caches before school returned. We've been putting off this cache and have visited but never looked on previous occasions as the area is full of dumped rubbish and rotting animal carcasses. It's quite over grown, but on returning today it was slightly less disgusting so we gave it a go. Log is quite wet and a tad moldy.
Cool old bridge, rode my bike here on rare sunny winter day and was looking beautiful. Nice hiding spot
I made it far enough to find the cache this time after my first attempt ended in a blind stumble away from the carcass of something bovine (I'm guessing, I can't identify one animal types' hoof from another). This time, there was much stumbling, but it was toward the cache. There's an awful lot of long grass and big blackberries to dodge, as well as people's dumped rubbish (anyone want half a shell pool?). Finally found the cache after all that but realised I was pen-less and not going to traipse back through the hazards to the car an extra two times to sign the log. TFTC piglet*.

Just what I needed - long wet grass!! After playing softball in the wet!!! Down here for the Masters Softball, and to find a few caches in between games.
Used this to try out our new baby back pack for Lu Lu Bug while romping thru the long grass. Success! Quite an easy find although one of the logs is looking rather mouldy and the other is damp. No pen so BYO pen. Have passed by this location multiple times and never noticed it before. Thanks Piglet!
Goodness me the grass was long, after a few weeks of good rain and warm weather. But the cache was where we figured, although quite exposed. We put it close to where it was, but out of view from a distance. TFTH.
Hard struggle to get to this cache. Log was very hard to sign as it was very wet. TFTC piglet
Hint didn't help here, the cache was found at the bottom of concrete lol
The contents are wet, and the location looks like it easily can float away with next big rain, so needs some TLC.

Thanks

Nice little find. A bit overgrown with long grass. Saw snake nearby so proceed with caution. TFTC
Out with LemurMan1 for the afternoon. Had to do some long grass walking to get to this one, but made it in the end and had a lot of fun trying to find the hide. TFTC

September Stroll was born earlier in the week with an idea hatched to head in a loop towards Sale starting from Moe. Heading north up to Heyfield, across to Stratford then down to Sale before arriving home late, it was a magnificent spring day to enjoy East Gippsland.
After parking the GeoRanger, we made our way to GZ finding the cache on the ground, we placed it back against the wall, before taking some pics from under the bridge!
Thanks for the cache piglet*!!!

This was tricky - used to play on this bridge as kids but the access is a bit difficult at the mo. Very long grass and swamped barb wire fencing so perhaps gumboots for this one
Great location little bit scary at night time and had to avoid a dead animal but really enjoyed looking for this one. It was our very first cache that we have found and we are now addicted.
The only thing is we couldn't write in the book as the pen didn't work and the book was quite damp. Thanks

A great place if you like burrs, sticky weed, blackberrys, stinging nettle and what ever else. A great old bridge. TFTC.
I overshot this cache, it was a beautiful run down the hill. It took a while to work out how to get into the cache, but I got there in the end.
Thanks for the cache piglet*.

This was next on the GVBR route for Day 6 today. I parked nearby and proceeded to GZ but it wasn't until I read the hint that I found the stash at 08:05 about 15 metres away . Watch out for the scratchy grass on the way to GZ. Ouch!!!

A fun scramble to this one ended a horror run of DNF's in town nearby. What an interesting place to explore! And almost becoming hidden in the increasing undergrowth. The log book and contents are a bit damp. We really enjoyed coming here .Thanks and cheers!
Found with my geo-hubby Mick.. Thanks for re-hiding in a less prickly spot - I'm sure finding it amongst the blackberries would have been a challenge! Took nothing, left a few small swaps to boost the goodie count
In plain sight... In the middle of prickles!!! I fought them off with a stick ands free some time and managed to get it, re placed under bridge.
Cache was obviously thrown when last found into the deep prickle bushes! But we retrieved it and put it back in an achievable place
Tracking through long grass in the wet wasnt very pleasant. Walked across bridge its not as bad as half the rds around gippsland hehe sl tnln tftc
