When people set fire to a Geocache its time to go.
Nearly 1000 finds and lots of favorites.
Thanks for finding me.

There was a fire in the log. In fact it's still smoking as I write this. We think we found the clay pipe and a loose item probably from the cache.
A nice easy find on my lunch break. There was no log book and unfortunately didn’t have any paper on me so will have to come back an officially sign it. Also, don’t forget to bring mosquito repellent - they are everywhere! Tftc!
Beginn der Neuseelandreise mit meinem geliebten Lord Eichhorn in Auckland mit ein paar Döschen. Das Logbuch fehlte leider, wir haben Fotos gemacht. Toller Friedhof. TftC
Kind of fun to tramp about a bit before going to navigation... A few logs around but you'll know when you find it.
I don’t think this cache is here anymore. Beautiful little park though. Canada here
My only weekend in New Zealand i spent in Auckland and suburbs to discover some interesting places and of course to look for some geocaches. Despite I'm in a city here, the GPS signal is much better than in e.g. Brisbane. So at least one barrier less compared to the last two weeks in Aussy. It was (still ongoing) a hard day with more than 20 kilometers walked. I'm tired but happy to find so many geocaches.
Many thanks to all owners for hiding and maintenance their caches!

Very interesting area - spent some time reading headstones. Not so forgotten now. TFTC
Visiting from Arkansas USA with Polgera from Alaska USA. Found, in the dark, kinda creepy in the cemetery, but nice cache. Needs a little cache maintenance for wet logs.
In Auckland for a couple of shows this weekend and had time to kill while the muggle partner had to make a phone call, so what better to do than to find a cache.
Was very boggy due to the down pour with thunder and lightning last night but managed to grab the smile clean. Cheers for the cache.

Top little resting place for a cache. There are a few likely places in the GZ and if it’s a bit damp then your boots are going to get a bit dirty. You’ll know the hide once you spot the resting place of this cache.
Attending a conference nearby meant a quick find and so it was the case, however the GPSr had me on the wrong side of the path to start with until it settled. The likely spot was immediately spotted and sure enough there it was visible at the end. Signed and replaced a bit further in. TFTC
Nice sunny winter day on my way to veggie store, I’ve decided to ticked off this little “treat” in forgotten park from my list

Found as a part of a previous group TanjackMüley, aka WanderingSparrow. Now I'm continuing on my own. TFTC
Some of the worst GPS flicking we've seen. A park/cemetery filled with sleeping homeless people luckily they went to close the the gz. Tftc.
I driven past this area lots
Of times but never stopped.
Been stuck at the hospital
For the last week with the
Birth of my little girl and got
Some time to get out for a hunt.
As someone has said probably
Not recommended for a night search.

Saw it but didn’t retrieve it as a wasps nest is about a metre away and they started to come out in numbers

Scottie & Kiwi enjoying a lunch date nearby. Popped in here on the way back to the car. Do not think I have ever walked through here before. Some very old (for NZ) dates on some of the headstones. Cache soon located. All good. TFTC
Nice walk through this park the morning after coming up to Auckland to see six60 play at Western Springs. We were waiting for our bus to pick us up and thought we may as well go and find this cache. Nicely hidden. Thank you for the cache
Great little find with my mate Sarah while on our trip to Auckland to see six60. TFTC!
I always enjoy visiting old cemeteries, there's so much history to be seen.
Thanks for brining me here Zork V.

Easy found. One logbook is unreadable, the second one is full. Needed to be replaced. TFTC! Greetings from Czech Rep.!
We are on vacation in New Zealand and of course we seek some caches.
Thanks for this one!

Found a trip from Knoxville, Tennessee. This was near our hotel and was a quick find.
Thanks Zork V for hiding.

A one day stay with muggle friends in Auckland so I thought I'd show 'em geocaching - my missus said "Don't let him drag you anywhere dodgy" so I promptly take them grubbing around in a disused cemetery being abused by an old drunk dosser sleeping things off on a collapsed headstone and then getting them stung by midges in the undergrowth. Perhaps they didn't really appreciate the finer points of my hobby!
During my trip to New Zealand I visited some Caches, this was one of them. Thank you to all owners!
Today I visited this forgotten park. Was really interesting. Many thanks for the cache

This was a trip, together with CrazyHiker68, in order to celebrate our birthdays. We've been to Hong Kong, Sydney, Auckland, Wellington, Christchurch and - last but not least - Singapore. It was out of question that we had to search for hidden caches - sometimes we did it together, sometimes we did it apart. Anyway, it was lot of fun and I love looking back to those days. This find was an easy one and I want to TFTC [^]
Together with Fischmac68 I travelled to Hongkong, Australia, New Zealand and Singapore for four weeks. We have seen a lot of beautiful places and cities and enjoyed the summer time at the other side of the world.
Of course we also had a look at some geocaches. Many could be found, like this one, some other could not.
Thanks for the cache and many greetings from Germany.

Try asking the ghost next to the 3rd bench on the path for a tip, the tip isn't too helpful but should narrow your search down.
Had to find at least one cache now that I'm on the other side of the world. Stumbled across this area accidentally and had to check for nearby caches. Nice and solid one, thanks!
I also happened to have something small in my back pocket which I just had to leave as a new traveller. Of course took something in return to bring back home too.
Logbook had some very recent water damage. Even the latest logs from few days ago were a bit blurry. Not catastrophic but new log book might be in order soon.

A quick two day trip to Auckland to attend the last fancy work do of the year. I decided when I booked my flights to fly in early on Saturday and leave late on Sunday to make the most of the more summer-like weather and get some caching in.
Well, Auckland clearly has other ideas with persistent rain which is meant to last all weekend AND the Christmas parade on Sunday! Can’t do much about the Christmas Parade, but I’ve never let a bit of rain stop me. The plan was to check in to my hotel early and walk around a particular area caching, but I spied a Lime e-scooter and decided that would be a much better cache-mobile thanks Shank’s Pony! A quick sign up and I’m off on Limey. Such fun!
Spent a good two hours scooting around caches covering 8.2kms. Was forced back to hotel to dry off when the rain became heavier and I was saturated and getting a bit chilly so it was losing the fun factor.
Obviously couldnt take Limey off-piste. This find was actually before I grabbed her. A quick find here with no issues.

Visited Auckland City Centre for GIFF 2018. Had some spare time before the Event so decided to do some caching in the area. All good at GZ. TFTC
This was a really interesting side of Auckland to see. Very sad, really, that this spot has been forgotten. I hope someone gives it some love and attention. TFTC.
First geocache in NZ for me, great morning stroll through this very lush cemetary. Greetings from Sweden and thanks you Zork V for the cache!
There was probably a quicker way to the cache than I found but being an out-of-towner I opted for the obvious, albeit longer, route.
Approaching from the right direction lead to an instant find.
Nice one.
Thanks
