found a much nicer spot nearby, will archive this cache .watch out for a new one
Searched at night by torchlight. I was forewarned about the area by previous logs, but I must say this search wasn't nearly as much fun as most Angel Dust caches, which I've been really enjoying doing. Off topic, when I first tried for this cache back in February (also by night) (and was muggled out), there was a fox, bright-eyed and bushy tailed, at the entrance to the park. I now think if this area as 'Fox Corner'.
A lot of rubbish here and I agree with the last 2 logs that the broken glass is just not safe for kids. Lots of other unsavory rubbish here too , stuff you just dont want your kids to be around. But I will go back now that I have read the extra hint in the log. TFTC
DNF too much broken glass, too many hiding spots, and gps kept losing lock so gave up after spending nearly an hour looking.Such a shame seeing I had spend all day here at the Coast Guard training base doing an SES communications course.
didnt spend too much time here, too much rubbish at GZ, not a nice place to hide, sure theres not a better place?---thanks anyway
Found it. Sad treasures so added but didn't take any. Kids had a good timer hunting for it. I must remember that obvious ones are obvious so don't look in difficult to get to places.
Had the morning spare before conference, and a company rental - decided to grab my first caches in NSW.
TFTC - grabbed a pic.
Found bang on GZ - nice spot

An easy drive up and find today. Replacing it was a different story, had a few council workers lunching nearby watching me. I picked up some rubbish and deposited the cache back in its spot as I did.

Looked for a while with no luck, but this was our very first cache. Will try again soon!
I heard about geocaching on the app slappy podcast episode 6 and decided to take my family who are up from Newcastle to hunt for my first Geocache.
Found it within 3 minutes but was a really fun experience.
Wish I didn't have to go to work this morning.
Eager to find more.
Thanks Angel Dust

There are a few places this one could have been hidden and it took us a while to locate it. But we got there in the end. Took Makin Tracks GC #10. TFTC
Found today with the KirraMob.
The adults were busy scratching their heads looking for GZ, yet the small one found it straight away when given the extra clue.
Left Makin Tracks Geocoin.

Had a bit of a look around but the BBQ family were right next to GZ.
There was also a lot of rubbish around GZ. I hope the cache doesn't get "cleaned up" with all the rubbish!
I will try again another time.

It took two attemts to find this cache today, I spent close to 15 minutes the first time with out any luck. I cracked the hint, I have to say that was a waste of time as it said to easy for a hint, Well I have to say if this was easy I would hate to see a hard cache, there were so many places a cache could be hidden and fresh leave litter all ways makes it hard. I went back to the resort and read through past logs on my laptop only to find the owner had placed a hint in a maintanance note, may I suggest that this be placed in the hint section. I returned later in the day and with the provided hint sonn had this one in hand. Despite the hassle finding the cache I really enjoyed this area and am glad I was brought here.
We parked up new town and took a long slow walk by the water, this was really nice. Found cache where it said it would be L frog T nil TFTC

found with some friends and puppies after the rspca million paws walk. spent a long time looking for this one as it is not the colour described.
First cache for the day but we didn't find it. Searched for awhile but no luck. Nice area with a high volume of muggles. Maybe next year???.
Found this with eauman-oz family. Lovely area, Geokids did a few swaps. SL TFTC
Guess this is a DNF - didn't get a chance to look for it. Checked the area 4 times in 3 days and a couple of guys seemed to be living in their cars right on GZ. Next holiday. TFTC Angel Dust.
Special place for me. Always used to holiday here with the family. Took LolKate for a daytrip to my childhood, what better activity than to cache it up
Thanks!
Thanks!
High muggle area. But most of them are always looking in the opposite direction anyway. Easy find.

Our second find. Not as easy as we first thought. As well as a fear of snakes during the search
While visiting friends we decided to find this cache as it was only 1 1/2 stars and very close by. While the 'J', the 'k' and the 'e' of Jakes5 went to the beach the 'a' and I went geocaching. After five minutes of looking we decided to get reinforcements to help us look for the cache. So we went back to the beach to collect the 'J', the 'e' and the 'k' and go for a swim. An hour later we were back looking for the cache. The 'a' started looking ten miles away from GZ (or maybe just ten metres), the 'J' got a stick and started poking aroung near the base of a tree, the 'e' started going through the litter and making comments as to what the rubbish was like, the 'k' decided to stand at the bottom of the slope and tell us we weren't looking hard enough and that we should have found it by now and I went looking near GZ.
In a minutes time the cache was in my hands and the 'k' was telling everyone how it was because she was here that I found the cache.
We didn't need anything supply wise so we left the cache where it was and we didn't take anything.
TFTC,
The Two Rangers
PS. While I was down on the beach I spotted a survey mark. See if you can find it.

this was my first cache i found it with help from mandp. i traded a breastcancer founddation band for the small plastic frog. it was a great starter find. t4tc.

a little extra hint, between two trees under rock good luck.

A lot of rubbish + broken glass/bottles. Closed public toilets made it unpleasant! Gave up after 10 mins looking
Lovely spot but where the cache is has broken glass and rubish everywhere....couldnt find.
Couldn't manage to find this one. Lots of undergrowth and broken bottles around. Might try again next time I'm down this way.
too many people, too much broken glass, too many hiding spots, and gps kept losing lock so gave up.
7th find for today. Lunched at beautiful seafood cafe here.

7th find for the day whilst caching with my Geo Sister. Took Geocoin and Anzac hat pin and left Humphrey Bear Bag. TFTC.
Pretty spot but a big shame about the amount of garbage and nasties in amongst the hidey hole. We were also a bit put off by a large man with what looked like a fake moustache sitting in a car in the park nearby - we narrowed it down to him being either a very bad undercover cop or a drug dealer. Log signed and we happily went on our merry way.
Geo-neices found this one today with the help of a GPS.
It was hard looking for a green container when it was actually Black..
But after discarding all the empty stubbies and other rubbish we managed to find the little sneaky hide.
Thank you for the cache.

Took geo-niece and nephew along for the adventure but no luck finding this one today. Maybe try again in a couple of weeks when we have a GPS
I really would have liked a hint while looking for this one!! There were some muggles at the picnic table nearby so I will blame them for the DNF I just couldn't spy a likely cache hidey hole. I wanted to leave a TB and coin in here and had already taken their photos, so I will log them in and out to get the km's despite being a DNF - they were only metres away I'm sure
Easy find, thought I might have problems with the reception, but coords took me straight to it! Cache is in urgent need of attention.

Find 3 of 4 today. Nice spot. Found after a 30 min search....would have been quicker if we had not "rushed" into this one and read the previous cache logs. TFTC.
Up this way on holidays its only natural that I get in some local caching. Its funny how you paint a picture of a cache before you get there. Well I'd done that with this one based on the name. Then it wasnt till I got there that the penny dropped. Doh!!!!

Found with workmate (a muggle - his first geocache, he picked where it was!) whilst working in the area. Used to have family reunions -almost- yearly in this park many years ago! TFTC TNLNSL (had no swaps on me today )
A lovely spot indeed. What a pity the container was so small when there was such a large area to hide it in. We had a very special TB to place in it that had travelled far but couldn't squeeze it in the narrow neck of the container.
Hard to find kept looking in the wrong place. But eventually found it. No muggles about.

A nice location with a pelican or two floating by. Had to go for a walk and then for breakfast and come back later as workers were mowing the lawns in the vicinity of GZ. On our second attempt the cache was quickly in hand, and we headed off towards Coolangatta airport and our trip home from holidays.

Had to return later in the day as some muggles were having a BBQ nearby on our 1st visit.
Last find of the day just before heading back to Brissy. We'd been here earlier in the day but had to abandon the mission as there were kids playing right on top of GZ. They were long gone when we came back later and we found the cache safe and well. TFTC!
On way to biggest little freak's birthday dinner - (not so) sweet 16! Found the cache quickly - seems to have stayed dry OK. Nice spot that we've driven past a lot but never stopped off at. Took a badge, left a mini ladybird. TFTC.

We parked *very* clos to the cache and it didn't take us long to find it... we did have to come back out of the trees and triangulate, but after doing that the co-ords proved to be spot on.
As we walked out Mrs Garner slipped on the undergrowth and fell over - spraining her ankle badly - we had to strap it up on site before calling it quits for the day. TFTC.

Loked for this one last year without any luck. Had a friend along this time and he found it straight away. Was still wet. Hopefully I put it back so that it can keep dry.
Visiting friends at Salt, nice easy find with Gazza. An older couple were parked adjacent to the cache and we were convinced they must have been fellow cachers, but not so. Log book was soaking wet, took it away temporarily to dry out. TFTC!
Nice Location. Log Book was wet. I dried it out and changed bag.

Dead Easy find - thanks Angel Dust. This makes number 99!!! Signed the log - We holiday in Pottsville regularly so have driven past here so many many times. It will now be known as the King of the Cliff Park.
Nice hide, great area. Found easily with Little D. On Holiday from Goose Bay Canada. Left Canadian penny.
Thanks.

Got to the spot and had a quick scout around and then met with the call "here it is is Dad". Another cache spotted by my eagle eyed daughter. Thanks for taking me to a spot never visited before
We attempted this cache at the weekend but the area near to gz was being used by a muggle and his remote control car. Knowing that this lovely little park was here we decided to use the facilities to make dinner and pick up a cache at the same time.

Muggles were having a picnic at GZ when we rolled up.
We also stopped and had some lunch.
Just as we were about to drive away we noticed they were packing up.
We waited for them to go.
I started searching and was turning it into a 5/5 search when Mrs Parrothead wandered over and just picked it staight up.

Third time lucky finding this cache. Not that there were any less muggles around it was just that they decided to wander off at a convenient time. A quick dash and grab got me the cache

This is another cache I found with the cache owner watching. There were a few muggles around but I still managed to find the cache easy enough.
There was a car parked near GZ but I could not see anyone in the area who was interested in it so I cautiously searched for the cache. Found after 10 minute hunt at 12.45pm. Swapped the pins. Thanks Angel Dust.
sid after lunching with his 4wd club only 130 meters away made an attempt but a sunday arvo may not be the best time for this one as the crowds were settled in for their bbq near gz we will return thanks angel dust.
