I suspect this cache was found by searchers working around a murder scene about 25 metres from this cache location.
Wish I had known the cache was here so I could find it when I spent the day working there during the search.
I do recall a message remarking that something had been found, but it never crossed my mind that it may have been a cache hide.
I went looking for this one last night, and the cacher with me confirmed the location and that the micro was not there anymore.
We searched around the root pockets as well...
Oh well...

Hmm, seems that our little one is gone.
Ok, rest in peace.
We hope, everyone who could find it had a little fun.

I'm sure we were in the right place but the tree is sadly lacking in the leaf litter department so possibly it has been moved out with the leaf litter? The large tree nearby was also lacking in leaf litter so maybe the gardeners have been busy?
Don't know if I'm the only one in the world that can't find this or it is gone. I think I found the right tree GZ had me in the middle of a path), looked everywhere but couldn't find a thing.
A quick find at the end of a caching afternoon on the way back to the river cat to get to dinner..
Found easily in a nice spot in the gardens. Didn't even need to look as it was totally exposed so we covered it with some leaf litter. TFTC
Was attending meetings for a few days near here but had surprising difficulty getting at this for such a "straight forward" cache. Went by the previous evening quite late but there were fire jugglers (!) practicing right near the spot and a young couple on the adjacent bench. The next morning it was ball players and a resting jogger. Finally had a chance to get at it watched only by the small lizard who was sitting on the cache. Thanks.
And Thank you for the geocache. It was exposed, but not unless you walked up to it. I covered it a little. Great garden in Brisbane that I didn't know existed.
The younger part of team cruzzzinaround nabbed this one. as we were close to it on our holiday in qld. nice spot thankx

Nice easy find by myself, MyronAllen and our beautiful geo-brides. Lots of muggles around being a Sunday afternoon, so had to be discreet. Then we just HAD to go to the Belgian Beer Cafe up the road for a cooling beer! Cheers.
Found it tucked away in its spot. A group of muggles was quite close by, but they were too busy enjoying their picnic to notice someone studiously 'jotting down some notes' (in the log book). Happy new year!
Quick and easy find in this lovely park. This was our first cache with our new toy -a Garmin 60cx - the first of many I think! Thanks for the cache.
Nice walk to the gardens, expected it to be elsewhere.... but recomend a stick... just incase hehehe
thanks guys

Found yesterday while meandering around the city - nice hide, but not after I'd done a bit of tree climbing in the wrong tree
This one was found by Pauline after the rest of us had given up. Lots of people around quite close to the location.

My first find!!!
Just received my new Garmin GPSMAP 60Cx and wanted to test it out - luckily this cache is only a few blocks from where I work. Found straight away.

Dropped in at 12:30am. Geeezzz they breed the rats big in here. I has a bit dubious about sticking my hands in dark places.
Great spot for a night hunt.

T & Muggle Shazza found this cache quite quickly as it was out in the open. When we replaced it, we hid it inside a little further.

Well this chace was rather a surprise... I'm not sure if it was where it was supposed to be but I wouldn't exactly call it hidden...!! I replaced it exactly where it was when I found it, but it seemed rather exposed to me...!!

Great place in Brisbane right around the corner from my hotel. It required my best stealth work as a family was having a picnic right next to the cache location. Found it pretty easily once I could poke around a little, coordinates were very good.
Thanks for the excuse, not that we needed one, to visit this great place again! Found the cache easily, signed the log and replaced it just in time before a wedding party arrived to have their photos taken at GZ!
No swaps as it was a micro. TFTC.

We found this cache after a nice walk through the park. Near the cache location we watched some people playing frisbee.

Found by edmil. The area was quite busy being such a great day but using the my camera phone and pretending to log some of the natural flora in the area I was able to obtain the cache without any observation. Moved away and signed log and replaced with stealth. Thanks for the cache only my second in Brisbane.
A nice start to the morning with a find even with a few muggles around.
Quickly got it out, signed, and then replaced.
Cheers for the cache.

I had a crack at this and found it this afternoon. As the previous finder noted, the log is full and in bad shape. I signed the back of it and put it back.

Sadly the log is in very poor condition. The cache was very exposed when we arrived and it surprised us it was still there. Oh well, maybe nobody walks the cache side of the hide.
Found by Sunshine Toledo at 12 noon. All the log paper was soaking wet but a half hour in the sun at a closeby table managed to dry it out. It is also full as I took the last space to sign it. In: - Out: US dime.
We are going to change the log during our next stay in Brisbane in October.

Had a few minutes before a meeting in the CBD, so chose a pleasant spot to review the notes. And find a cache...
I checked the lid was on properly before I left it, but the logs are quite wet. I guess they won't dry out if it's sealed.

Great little micro, found easily. Log is very wet. Down from Chapel HIll, North Carolina, USA for a conference in this great city! Dropped my new NC microcoin, fresh from purchase at NC Fall Fling on Saturday! TFTC!

Note: I strolled from the hotel to the Botanical Gardens to grab this cache. It was such a glorious morning, fresh after a light shower of rain, and as I made my way through the city streets I was able to remember why I have always thought this city to be so beautiful. The gardens were full of activity even at this early hour with joggers, walkers and cyclists enjoying a bustling/peaceful start to a new day. I stopped and took several pics along the way of the parklands and city … grabbing the cache was easy! I simply walked up and there it was! Thanks for getting me out here today. I had a blast!

Took a friend into Brissy for the day and decided to get a cache in. This was a good one what a sneaky hide.
It was my friend's first cache and he enjoyed it. There are a few tiny swap items in the canister so who ever goes next keep it in mind. TFTC

GPS and people all over the place, but managed to rete=reive after about half an hour. A beautiful spot and my first interstate cache. Thanks "Thank you"!

dropped by with Texas Boot, Cruising Harry and Supa Roosta TBs but no room in the inn, so moving on!
Actually found this yesterday when out with geon00bs Tursiae and Snooper, but we didn't have a pen to log!
So came back today and logged the visit.
The gardens are lovely and the cache is in a great little spot. Not too difficult and a nice walk.

Peace and love,

Nice easy find. The cache was actually exposed if you looked at it the right way, and I rehid in the same manner.
There were plenty of people enjoying the park when I was there at about 2:15pm, either sitting and talking, walking and looking and even a group playing hide and seek.

This little cache was lying on the ground beside the tree! We don't think it had been muggled though as it was seemingly untouched inside with some coins in there and the log intact. We signed the log and placed it where we think it SHOULD have been TFTC
Found, with some strange looks from passers-by. No worries.
Left some US change, took green sand.

Wait for the muggles to disappear, jump, look, find, sign, replace. Caching before breakfast. Cool.
6:30om. Popped in after visiting a friend nearby on his yacht.
Didn't see the cache at first, but I didn't wan't to have the distinction of being the first no find, so I persisted. Found after a couple of minutes - turns out I was close the first place I looked - my excuse was that it was dark

I tried for this one the night before with little success.
It's marvellous what a difference a little sunshine can make.
That and a little hint.
Found it almost straight away.
Thanks to everyone in Queensland who communicated with us during our short stay.

Our 1st QLD find on our QLD Caches and Concert Tour. This was a nice way to start our adventure in QLD, nice spot, cute hide. Really enjoyed this.
Thanx for the location and the cache.
Thanx for the location and the cache.
Really enjoyed this one - it was my first find "away from home" and it was a beautiful sunny autumn day in a great location. TFTC!
I needed a straight forward cache to lift the spirits after Bravo & Charlie. But not to be had to wait for a street person to move on from a very close resting place and then the guy at the counter in the nearby building seemed to be keeping a close eye on my activities. (Note to self fluro shirts may be safe for cycling but not for geocaching)
Thanks for the cache

This was my last cache before leaving Australia. I left a bag of green sand from Hawaii and signed the log book. Thanks for bringing me to the Botanical Gardens. It was a nice place to see. TmyTkr
Our second cache for the day (and my second one ever)...and I'm starting to like this geocaching thing a lot. Learnt the art of being "covert" while discovering this one in a busy public place...
Found this one this afternoon with a dear friend of mine. Her first introduction to geocaching and my first cache for a while. Were getting our bearings at the nearby picnic table whe we realised we were only meters from it. Found it easily. Thank you.
What a day to tackle this one! First i had to drive around the block at least 6 times before i found a carpark having the dogs with me i couldnt park anywhere else but in the street, then it started to rain and not rain lightly so every muggle was around me tring to get shelter from the rain (kept trying to convince them they wont disolve) finally the dogs came in handy, dogs and trees go hand in hand as we walked by we nabbed it and returned it 5 mins later when we checked out the spot again! Thank you
Sixth of seven finds for my last night in Brisbane. I managed to find a parking spot just 200m from the cache--it was the only parking spot in Alice St. [^] The gardens were virtually deserted, so I was able to search undisturbed. However, I couldn't find the cache after a thorough search. I thought it was "Rooted - Hills" all over again! I cracked the hint, and had the cache in hand seconds later at 2110. There was a scroll of canvas in the cache with instructions to 'initial and move to your next cache'. Is this some sort of el cheapo Travel Bug? [?] I decided to take it anyway. I'll place it in another cache soon. "Thank You" to Mattes + PaulHarris for the cache.
Attended a wedding at the Stanford Hotel on Saturday so Sunday morning went looking for "Thank You" before breakfast. Only a few muggles riding and jogging at that hour. Sat on a bench, read the log and then had a nice stroll in the gardens with my wife.
A nice easy find - second for the day - the gardens are looking absolutely wonderful after all of this rain...a great place to be early on Saturday morning.

Visited it today at about 1400. Nicely hidden cache. I was a little bit naughty and put a travelbugish thing in with instructions for the next visitor to remove it.
Not so easy on a Saturday arvo had to use extra stealth mode to grab it plus wait for picnic muggles to leave from next to gz then sudenly there where no muggles at all so was able to grab and retrive the cache with out being noticed.

This was my second and last find for the night. I had 4 on my list, but at one the gate was closed for the night, and the other was surrounded by lots of muggles. Luckily for this one, the area was quiet and I was able to find it quickly at 19:40. Thanks for the cache.
00:57hrs Found this one about three seconds after the Witch found a toad about a foot away also not on the ground Well placed.
Thank you for the cache. Lovely surroundings and in a spot I visit regularly on the pushbike.
