We were at a local park when we decided to check the GPS and this one came up on the screen. We saw it wasn't too far away and decided to walk up to find it. It was found quickly and did't have a pencil to sign the log but found it OK and good condition. Nice to see where the vanilla essence comes from. Lived here all my life and never new that place was here.TFTC
found on chrismas day, great hide i got a new oregon 300 for christmas, so i went for some early morning geocaching!
Took my younger bro out for some Christmas caching. His first trip, and he was the one to find it very clever container and location. TFTC
I also did not know this was made locally, you learn somethin new every day! Log was a little wet. SL TFTC
Definitely an interesting container in a very appropriate location. TFTC

avyz found it at 5.15pm. She was so happy found it before us. SL. Thanks hotandsweaty for organising the cache and hunt.
Found on the way home. Easy find but plenty of muggles around. The old shoe lace trick worked a treat. TFTC.
Found on the Brisbane Caching Invasion with Steeba and The Rats. A nice quick find
Thanks hotandsweaty for the cache.

No 99 of 205 on the weekend caching spree in Brisbane with The Rats and Big Matt & Shell.
Is that where that stuff comes from? A recognisable brand! The container here was well crafted. TFTC!

In Brissy for a caching blitz with Steeba and Big Matt. As we drove up to this one I thought the essence of life may have been electricity or water - how wrong I was.
Steeba quickly found this one. Thanks
Steeba quickly found this one. Thanks
Yes, the ants are well protecting this one. Will sign another day!! more importantly, the company is also 100% Australian owned! a rarity these days.
6.22am
Yikes ants, but not those big ones though!
No pic here, we were on a roll!
Cheers

Found quickly after a short walk from Old Enoggera Shire and the car. An interesting container.
Is it vanilla? This was an old stomping ground way back when, the brickworks made bricks. I liked the unique cache container, currently dry and in good condition. Signed the new log book. No swaps. Thanks.
It's back, it's been de-anted (a colony was living inside), and it has a new log. Enjoy!
I've taken it home to give it a new log and clean it up a bit. Let you know when it's back
I've taken the cache home to pretty it up a bit and give it a new log. After the recent rain, the current log was a ball of mush. It'll be back within the next couple of days
Being from South Africa, we're not familiar with this product, but now we know it is manufactured in Australia. Log sheet damp and container needs some maintenance.

Grabbed during the weekend of the "Great Southern Raid". The team ......Powell (little nano expert) Bruce, Cooroy (Jack Brabham) Scouts, d.d.dudes(whiplash), curtdog(how far is it) and (toughen up or Sgt Bilko). Endurance was a definite necessity as we plundered for 24 hours in our pink wheeled special bus.
Thanks for the hunt!

Well what do you know - I too thought that it was made in some little country - I don't know how many bottles i have gone through with my baking - but there you go you have taught me something. MrMad found the cache with the South Australian Parrothead and Skippy on a huge day and night out caching. Thanks for the cache.
Cache 10 of 40 on a big day of caching with Kholometers. We had 3 groups of muggles watching us on this one so we pretended to be picking up rubbish (god bless clean up Australia day) while we found the cache. The top was off and I had trouble sticking it back on so i'll add a maintenance note for the owner to take a look when they get a chance. Log was wet due to the top being off. TNLN, TFTC.
The log sheet is nearly full, as is the back of the stash note and both are a bit damp.
The street was fairly quiet as it was Saturday afternoon but we had a feeling that we were being watched by the occupants of nearby houses.
Had a bit of a look then closed in on the cleverly created cache.

It's really hard to look nonchalant and stealthy when She-Gecko screams her lungs out. First place she looked yielded a nest of the most enormous ants I have ever seen. Just about screamed like a girl myself Luckily they had not moved next door to the caches house. TFTH
Another addition to my "local knowledge" - thanks for the insight!
No pencil, need to get back to sign up, the logbook is pretty wet too.

I wasn't looking very hard, so it took longer than it should have.
Once in hand a quick sign and away again. Thanks hotandsweaty for the cache. TNLN.

A quick find - silly we agree, but one of those great items thats been around for years. The log is damp. TFTC
Very clever hide. Even when I had found it I didn't at first realise that I had. I thought that it was some muggle litter. Thanks for the cache I enjoyed it.
A great little container but the log book is a bit wet and smelly. Great spot I also didn't realise they were made in brissy. TFTC.
Great cache container, our first find today, only found 3/9 not a great day but we enjoyed the 10km walk anyway!

Found on the way home. Well I woud never have guessed. I won't look at this product the same way again The log book is damp. All the great Brisbane rain make our logs wet. TFTC
Well, well, well, the things you learn. TN/LN/SL and marvelled at the inventiveness of 'H&S'.
AAHHHH success is sweet. The things you find in suburbia. TFTC and adding to my mental 'Brisbane history folder'
Our 5th cache on the last day of our 4 day visit to your sunny state. Like you, we thought this was an overseas company so it was a pleasant surprise it is made right here. We started our search in the wrong location but as the GPSr settled down we located the great container. The lid was missing and it only contained a stash note. We signed the back of the stash note and on our way back from the car spotted the top of the container not from GZ a quick look around and we found the log sheet (damp but still useable) we then signed this put it all back together and re hid it. We loved the container and cannot work out why the lid and log were not with it.
Thanks hotandsweaty

Realised I forgot to log this when I was reading back through my diary today. Loved the camo on this one.

Found easily with powellbruce after enjoying great company at the Big Brizzie Brekky Event. TFTC
I attempted this one a couple of years a go when i was very green at caching and didnt come up with the goods. Now that i have a couple of hundred caches under my belt the cache revealed itself nice and quickly.
Thanks for the cache

Aah, the sweet smell of success! I liked the container - but I must ask, spur of the moment doesn't mean you were driving past and decided to pop a cache there right then, does it? If so, well, you're very well prepared! TFTC ='.'=
Nice hide. This cache is literally 100 metres from my sister in law's house. I must have driven past it about 50 times! With me were MyronAllen (a cacher), and Sarah, Linda and Matthew (non-cachers).

It was night, and the area was quiet, so a quick uninterrupted seach resulted in a cache find. Interesting container. I didn't notice any particular aroma whilst there, so I am not sure what essence we are talking about. Thanks for the cache.
Found @ 18:35
Hmm... is it just my imagination or does it smell nice here? Anyway, nice hide but quickly found with my keen cachers eye. Yay me! Okay, so really so I fluked onto it when I knelt down and the rock I put my hand on shifted a mite but I wanted to revel in the delusion for a moment TFTC hotandsweaty.

A most unusual container. I found it and put it back then returned after I realised that it was the cache. I was having a blonde moment and I am not even blonde. Does grey count?

Turned up at the cache site and found another couple in the midst of finding cache ("cooroy scouts" I believe). First GC'ers we've encountered in our travels. Swapped some GC'ing yarns and went on our way. TNLNSL. TFTC.
great spot. we too weren't aware this was australian. Part way through logging our visit when a slow moving car approached us and to our surprise "keightvee" were on the hunt as well. stoked to finally meet other cachers, gad nice chat and straight back onto it. tftc.
After a brief scratch around in the wrong place, I checked in the right place and found it easily! I also didn't know this was manufactured here! Thanks H&S.
I had a pretty good idea where this one was going to be, so I headed to South Pine Rd only to find the factory had closed. Fortunately the GPS guided me to their new site. Would have been an easy find if I hadn’t arrived right on knock-off time. Went for a drive around the block and got lost. Area well and truly deserted on my return. TFTC
Another quick find. Parked the car right next to it!! Was nice though as the sun was setting to have an easy find.

This cache was find number 42 of 102 finds I did with Dtay for our record attempt on Saturday 18 November 2006.
We were here at 09:30 hours.
Found this one fairly readily, but it looks like the container has broken and it was a little damp.
For some reason as I was typing this log, I had the tune "The rhythm of life is a powerful thing" going through my head - now I bet you have too

Found by Sunshine Toledo and Her Majesty at 10:04am Being Sunday there were no muggles about so it was a quick find and hide. TNLNSL TFTC
It is nice to see this is made right here is Brisbane. The house across the street had a car run through the fence when they didn't make the turn over the bridge so had to be extra careful of muggles.
Essence of life – Another easy find. Container well reflects the location. Logged 2.37pm

3rd of 4 for the Fathers day hunt.
A quick find - Sometimes google earth pointers are spot on!
You say it's a silly little cache - I loved it!
Signed the log and moved on
PS. After the kids had excitedly found the cache, I think we may have been spotted. I spied an eldely lady sitting opposite on her small porch. She didnt seem to interested in our activities. After she went inside we replaced it.
I think the secret is still safe.
Thanks

Cache forty-three of fifty finds for the day, on my fly in fly out visit. I found the cache at 20:00. Just what I needed a nice quick find, very interesting hide method. Thanks hotandsweaty for the cache.
Chalk this one up to the old fella.Found number 11 for the day at 4.45pm .I too was blown away that we still made this product here .The cache was also well done . Thanks to you Mr Hot and Sweaty for bringing us here.We certainly have enjoyed a variety from the vault of HotandSweaty .The last few we did involved 50 year old murders and now we find out about flavourings.Great work.
Checked after cryptic NO LOG comment made by HappyHarries.
Cache all OK, log book still OK.
Took pencil and sharpener out to make it less cluttered.
Please bring your own pen in future.
