We really enjoy hunting our archived caches!!
After camping at the very peaceful Mukinbudin Caravan Park last night we headed off on day 2 of our Wheatbelt Tour.
This weekend has been some time in the planning and we were heading up this way to drive the Wheatbelt Way Trail and collect geocaches along the route. We also had GCA caches, Waymarks and Sighters on the radar which should break up the trip nicely. We had no set plans for accommodation and we decided that we would see where we ended up each day to set up camp. This cache was one that we targeted on our mini adventure. Cheers and TFTC.
G’day there Team Gunn Parker, I was in this area today and found your cache YGOOLA GCRGCW. I added my name to the log book at 3:45 pm on 29 September 2019. A huge thanks to you for placing this cache here for us (and others) to find!
This cache find brings our total find count to 11000. Woohoo!!

Had a great time finding it. The container needs renewing because it is very sun damaged and is braking apart. It is no longer weather proof. Make sure you bring a pen.
Having a planned wknd away with kyzabra and krabiboy we left perth bright and early at 4.30, this was to be a big first day of finds and klms. Fair drive to get here and a good find in a great location. On the drive up we seen a couple of very impressive eagles right in the middle of lunch. Tftc
Today was a huge day. 14 hours, 625km, and 27 finds.
This trip out had been a long time in the planning.
Krabiboy and I had hatched a plan and probably changed it about 10 times. dallyho joined us, final plans were set, and off we went
A quick find of a semi exposed cache here.
Team Gunn Parker - Kyzabra found your cache YGOOLA . The cache is in good shape and we replaced it as found. Thanks for placing this and bringing us to this spot!

Kyzabra and I have had our eyes on this part of the Wheatbelt for a few months. We were joined by Dallyho and today was the day to head out and make a weekend of it.
We left at 4.30am on Friday and headed off to the northern wheatbelt.
We covered over 600km today, clocking up 29 finds, including 5 archived caches.
As we headed down the road to this one we spotted a couple of wedge tailed eagles cleaning up a carcass in the paddock. As we arrived we discovered that we weren't the first to visit here today.
TFTC Team Gunn Parker.
Team Gunn Parker, I found your cache YGOOLA on 5/08/2016.

Box shagged. Can the next hunter please bring a replacement.

We wouldn't have found it if we hadn't had reception for the phone as we were miles off with the iPads sat pic. It didn't seam to match what was there. Well we found it eventually and mum lost her pen. Anyway TFTC
box is broken it's surprising it looked as well as it did as there was a note in March, so it's gone through another winter
I welcomed the distraction and took the short detour off the main road to hunt this cache. The container is in desperate need of replacement.

On my way north, following the sun. Picked up a couple of GC's on route from Koorda to Mullewa. Found this one this morning at 10:15. Container has completely disintegrated, needs replacement urgently. TNLNSL, TFTC Team GP
Wow, great to find this cache though sad to mention it was full of water and container has deteriorated with age, needing maintenance. TFTC
Having the day off from seeding and being Mother's Day we decided to take a drive and collect a few caches along the way. Took us way too long to find this one, but did eventually we did! I was tempted to take the sunglasses after losing mine at the last cache (Ballidu Bush Walk) but decided they didn't really suit me! The container may need replacing soon (maybe before the rains set in) as a couple of the clips have broken off and the container has become fragile. SL TNLN TFTC
Easy find on this "cool" early Sunday morning. Nice quiet area, no muggles here . TFTC Team Gunn Parker.
Ahhhhhhhh holidays!!!!!!! Our 12th find in a new adventure east

I wouldn't like to meet who ever lives in that hole behind the cache.

Some nice wildflowers still around. Found the cache after short search. TNLN. Thanks Team Gunn Parker
The cache was guarded by a blue tongue lizard who didn't appreciate being disturbed. There was water in the cache and we have placed it in a plastic bag and covered it with sticks and rocks. The contents are rather soggy.
TNSL Thank you.
TNSL Thank you.
This is way out there! Log book was soaked so i put a new one in there. Put rocks on the lid the rabbits wont knock them off. Thanks Team Gunn Parker
We thought this would be a 4wd trip but it turned out to be an easy 2wd and a short walk to the cache. Inbuilt maps on the GPS helped out with navigation.
Lots of Flies
The cache is well stocked
Took nothing added a New Blue Hanky from acoustic world
Thanks for the short break on our travels

The cache was so well covered, I almost left without finding it. I have covered it well also - since it needs to be well covered here. The container is breaking up (see previous logs) and will need to be replaced on your next visit Andrew. Unfortunately I didn't have anything suitable with me. After all this, TN-LN-SL . Thanks to Andrew for the cache, and furthering my wheatbelt experience.
Third of six for the day on a rushed return to home.
The container is in really bad shape, so I've put the contents into a big ziplock and put that into the remanants.

Found after a short walk in. Our 8th of the day, and ideally situated for our intention of following the Rabbit Proof Fence north to Jibberding and the next cache.
TNLN And thanks for the cache here

Found while surveying roads for heavy vehicles. Container has become brittle and the lid is cracked. Re hid upside down, this should keep any water out. Didnt have a spare plastic bag with me. T4TH
Found the cache with Dad on our Kalgoorlie road trip. TNLNSL. Thanks for the hunt.
Found it at 5:20 PM before making the final run for home and the end of our week long Kalgoorlie road trip. Was a nice cache to finish off with. Took the chalk and key ring and left a 250 mb zip disk and a phone case. Thanks TGP for the hunt. Oh, the cache is in good condition.
A great spot, stopped here for a cuppa on the way to Beacon. A beautiful part of the country this time of year.

We have never been in this district before and it was quite different route as we travelled east. A nice and quick find. No trade. Thanks for the hunt, TGP.
Found the cache – no problem. Lovely place It was long way but enjoyed the drive. No swap Thank you for organise the cache and hunt.
Last find on my journey to SA and back. Decided while filling up at Southern Cross to go up to this one. Drove to Merredin and turned right, pleasant drive to Dowerin on a very quiet road then North. Found the cache without too much trouble although the motorcycle tracks leading all the way to the cache site had me thinking I mightn't be the FTF but I found a clean log book. TFTH
It was a pleasant journey but finding everything closed at Cadoux, Wongan Hills and Calingiri I started to rue my decision not to fill a jerry can at S.C. or head over to the G.N.Hwy as the Km's to empty on the odo matched the Km's to home. With 67Km to go and only 1/8 tank of petrol left, my mind was put at ease as I filled up because Toodyay thankfully was still open.
