Like many others in the Tauranga region it looks like this one is no longer being looked after and needs to be archived.
first search for the day and no luck with no GPS we just went off clues, dam certain we found the right spot...checked everywhere else in the park too. there looks like a lot of homeless activity in the area as well so possibly been taken, a real shame as we were really amped up to find our first cache
Couldn't find at lovely obvious tree. Hasn't been a find in a month. Can this maybe be checked. Thanks 1-4-1 Family.
My First Find. Found it with a friend of mine, found it under a nice position which we put it back into.
What a lovely park
There were a couple of mugglers nearby so had to be careful!
Didn't need to use the instructions for this one - was able to find with GPS only.
There were some nice swaps - thank you

Second day of our caching weekend with kiwifeet and kiwicouple and our twenty second find . Yet another unusual tree in Tauranga and a quick find T4TC.
Tearing around Tauranga today with Rosmar and Kiwifeet. A nice big play area by the beach - and a great spot for a hide. Thanks.

Found at high tide and there were MANY kingfishers flittering around collecting their dinner. Gorgeous! Mum discovered after we had all decided the recent tree trimming must have meant the cache was muggled. Well done mum. + bouncer. TFTC
There is room for something with a little more creativity in Tauraunga, but this one although pretty simple is still quite good due to its location.
Some pre-Xmas geocaching in Tauranga with JDSavannah all the way from Savannah, Georgia, USA. TNLN. TFTC
JDSavannah strikes again! Well, in conjunction with TreMichLan. [8)] A lovely day of caching in Tauranga. TNLN TFTC. Merry Christmas!

A very nice bay - a lot of school children were doing some sort of ecological study in the mud flats - thankfully the cache was cleverly located in a peaceful spot.
A nice heron wandering around this lovely spot. Took a little bit of hunting, but found exactly as described. Thanks.
Stopped by on the way over to Tauranga, what a busy spot. Took a while but we go there. Great spot.
Found the obvious tree. GPS spot on. Found some obvious hidey-holes at the base of it. Evene found some small sticks, which may have covered the cache. No cache though. Could be muggled? Not found since February...
Didn't know this park existed. Mountain biked here. Had to revisit this park later on today too, cos I left my glasses on the ground. Just as well I came back straight away cos contractors were just about to the mow the grass! T/B been retrieved by someone else.

Found in the dark. Couldn't resist these last couple of caches in this area. Raining, so took the brollies which got a bit caught up in the cache area. Must be a nice place in the summer! TFTC
Quick find (18 months after failed attempt when cache was missing). Previous visit assisted in navigation to the park!

Extremely easy find - drove directly to it and could see it from the car! Sailed small boats from this beach a number of years back. TNLN. 3rd of 4 caches on this very hot day! Charlotte & Colin, Wellington.
Great spot for a microcache. Did a night find for this one. Cronnie in on this one.
