Wow, more amazing views up here. Perfect conditions on a chilly morning. After lots of photos, I wandered over this way and scoured the area, making the find after a minute or two. All is fine so TFTC!

#7760Bad weather was forecast for today, and delivered as well. It was very ordinary in Leura, so decided to change our plans of some roadside hides down the mountain, and headed west for some specific caches for grids and challenges we're chipping away at. Wet and 10 degrees - a great day to be in the warm car most of the time!Another 'olds-cool' cache for us, and what a ripper! We had a few nervous moments at GZ, but it seemed we were on the wrong side of the fence. The lookout is awesome - definitely the coolest I've ever seen, far better than anything that is made now. We took the cache into the dry lookout to sign, so don't look for it in there! Thanks for the cache!

#7759A wet week at home, and still a wet weekend in the Blue Mountains to come by the looks, we need to at least get out and do some caches! Wow, what a location!! How have I lived in Sydney for most of my life, been into and passed through these mountains thousands of times, and somehow never heard of Hassan's Walls, let alone visited?!I came late on Sunday afternoon, and despite passing a couple of other cars, the parking area was empty when I arrived. Not for long though - two more cars arrived within the next four minutes.Still, it was pretty quiet, and I strolled to the lookout to admire the view, and then headed back and towards the cache. I went through the hole in the rock and took more photos, before focusing on my app to locate the cache.It took me a few minutes, but once I looked in the right place, I knew I had it right.Signed and replaced as found.Many thanks to Liz and Bruce for bringing me here!

Just had to come up here and look at this place on my short caching weekend. I had known of this place for a Very long time. I worked in the Lithgow area some 35 years ago, but never got the opportunity to visit here back then. They have certainly gone to a lot of trouble to put in a nice lookout with quite expansive views! I got the opportunity to look over the area I had just spent a few hours in picking up most of the hides in a series!After taking in the view, it didnt take too long to track down this hide.SLTNLN TFTC

For us, it was another visit to a lookout site to get a view from a different perspective of the Blue Mountains area. It was pleasing to see a cache had been placed here. There were a good number of other people here at the time of our visit but I was easily able to find the thoughtfully sited treasure. Greeting from New Zealand.

I targetted this cache as it is so old and I need it to fill in my grid. It is a nice drive up here and after a bit of a look around, the likely spot was located and cache signed.

There was some sort of resuce practice nearby but there was no one to be a muggle.

Thanks Liz and Bruce and it deserves a favorite for keeping it going for so long.

Out enjoying a weekend of geofun with Rama497. We decided to tackle a few of the geocaches around the Glen Alice area before heading for home. On the way, Rama497 brought me to this lookout for the view but also to find the cache. There was a storm rolling in with massive lightning about so quickly grabbed the cache, signed the log and got out of there. This was my last one for the weekend. Thanks for the fun.

Spending the night in Lithgow, I finally got up to Hassans Walls. Remnants of yesterdays snow falls were visible. Stunning views. All good with the cache. Nice to find another Liz and Bruce cache on my journey.

We came for a drive to the Lithgow area today see the pink flannel flowers, and to grab some caches! Some fantastic views from here, and it brought home again what an effort walking the Six Foot Track was last year. And how great caching is to bring us to these stunning views! Thank you for the cache! : )
