No sign of a cache here today.
But reading back it was already damaged last July.
A bit of rubbish in the area too, and probably was all flooded a while back.
Needs a checkup please.
Thanks for the challenge FLIPPER&CO
will place on the watch list and return asap!

Out in school holidays to find a cache weeds and wet everywhere... Container had water in it, empty and replaced... TFTC
Approached from the wrong side so thankfully no water in the creek this time of year.
No joy today.
No joy today.
Had fun finding this one, Shame it was full of water, which we emptied out.
Found with my mum and little sister when I was in Adelaide a few weeks ago on holidays. Thanks!
Veni, Vidi, Scripti. Finally able to claim the smiley face for this one. Been trying to find this on my morning walks but at 5:30 trying to sort through sour sobs in the wet with no light but the torch was proving a bit tricky. Today visited in daylight and even aware that day lock here is dodgy it only took a short search to find the cache. Container had water but log while damp inside the zip lock bag was still quite usable. Guard bear missing. Ģratias pro cache.
On a lovely sunny day a rat, snake and Aussie M&M went a caching.
someone had left a microwave for us to up our lunch.
A teddy bear was found near GZ.
While Mrs M and the Adder went searching around the place.

I was in the area with about an hour to spare without the kids so I decided to grab a couple of caches - they seem to be few and far between these days.
I was a bit hesitant when I got to the area because I thought Id have to climb in some dark cave to retreive the cache, but thankfully not needed. TFTC

Loved the guard bear, everything a bit damp and we put contents in a new zip lock bag. Thanks for the cache!!
Have been putting this one off for a while... due to the numerous comments about a very soggy cache :c( Though after deciding on an daily cache target, thought I would try this one on my way home from work... and hopefully score another PT, left by the last team :c) Arriving at GZ, the phone app was all over the place... so I put it away, and began a wide search. After almost half an hour I was beginning to think the worst... then I got a glimpse of something... is it? Yes!! Half full of water... but managed to sign the log :c) and scored a PT too!! Wicked. TFTC!!
This cache container seems to get a lot of water in it :c( very soggy. A new water tight container may be required.
Tftc. Found quite easy. Container full of water. Log damp. Signed as best I can. Left pt. May need maintenance.
With the littlest pirate otherwise engaged with school holiday activities, Mrs Pirate and Pirate Pete had some time off for caching. Surprised that this one hasn't been found for so long although I can see that at certain times of the year it would be a very difficult search. After only a quick search we found a waterlogged cache with a surprisingly dry but still damp log book. We drained the water but the contents remain damp. One TB rescued. TFTC Brett, Richard and Flippers!
Found on the third visit. Used my early Xmas pressie of a Garmin GPS to get a better fix on this one. Was busy saying: the gps says its around here while looking at the screen. Geopartner says I can see it. Yes he's right, it was a bit sticking out from the cammo. Quick sign and a cuddle of teddy and then put back with a bit more cover. Thanx
Found quite quickly but it was very wet emptied the water log is damp and the bag is wet. Left trackable
Aaaatttt laaassstt!!! This has been on my to do list for toooo long!!! Came with kids in summer & too many ants, prickles, flies.....none today & no kids to complain either;))) tftc SL
Yay, the last cache find for August. This made 31/31 days for us. The soursobs made it an interesting challenge, but we found the treasure all the same. We didn't disturb Teddy as he looked to be asleep. Thanks for the cache Flippers and Richary!
The rains were just starting to hit as Mohuja and I started our search for this one. We started out on the wrong side of the creek so once we found a place to cross we found our GPS was all over the place. Started looking roughly where we thought it was, all I can say is Sour Sobs SUCK!!! They were so long and thick it really makes looking difficult, and then as the description says there are those horrid prickly plants. I took considerable searching but finally just as we were starting to think that maybe coming back in the warmer (non-sour sob) season might be the go Mohuja hit the jackpot!
Container had a half inch of water sitting in it but luckily the log although slightly damp was well sealed in a baggie and we were able to sign!

Parked in Abercromrbie Cres only to discover we were on the wrong side of the creek! So many prickly bushes along the creek too. We were determined to locate the cache as we didn't want to have to come back here again. Took what seemed ages but we finally found it! It's water logged but the log is ok, though a little damp. SL and replaced, keeping in mind that a lot of the vegetation will be gone once the warmer weather starts. TFTC. TNLN
this cache had us walking around in circles with the gps going crazy.. scouted for about 15 mins or so and had to cut it short because i was getting nowhere and LeeRock stacked it... walked and limped back to the car with no luck with this cache today... will be back!
Found this one while the two slackers stayed dry in the car! Started searching with the co ords jumping all over the place but soon found the cache. Couldn't believe I didn't see it earlier! lol after finding the cache I noticed ted sitting there looking all miserable and wet, so I fashioned a primitive shelter that would keep the rain off his head! The cache itself had a little bit of water inside so I tipped it out and dried as best I could TFTC
Needed a quick find to fill in a calender day today. The birds were in fine form as we entered this park. As gz neared some prickly bushes appeared. Luckily teddy was guarding cache under almost dead prickly bush so neither M or M were injured in the creation of this cache log. Aussie Mary feels teddy needs a cubby house that is waterproof. TFTC.
Well hidden, had us wandering around in circles for a while! Container was still wet inside, though the log was kept dry in the bag. TFTC
took me a while. Was walking away when I just saw the teddy out of the corner of my eye.TFTC
Well what a difference a couple of seasons make.
No fumbling around sour sobs today. Spotted cache staight away. Signed log.
Such a nice stroll in near pefect weather. Tftc

Nice easy find ...
Some of the other logs gave me a bit of help.
Wondered what that teddy bear was there for. Now I know - to guard the cache!
Added Seek3rs sticker and date to the log.

A pretty easy find in a nice location. Had to fight the vicious 'wildlife' to get to the cache though (see picture). TFTC
Even though it was a bit of a hot day, Mr & Mrs M-SEZ decided they'd rather go caching than wallow in boredom...or do gardening.
We tried this a while ago in winter, but found it almost impossible at the time with poor sat lock and a thorough covering of fresh soursobs.
Today was different though. With clear skies the GPS brought us straight to a dry and virtually bare piece of ground where the cache was located quite quickly. TFTC

Why does Owl attempt these things with good shoes on? Still, managed the scramble, then found the cache in full view and waterlogged. Tipped out the water and put it back with the teddy bear, then scrambled back again.
Im afraid this one beat me today, too many sour sobs. Will return when its summer, and not so overgrown.
Found quite easily. The teddy bear provided some moment of hilarity. TNLNSL TFTC (and the bear)!
A nice stroll on a grey and drizzly morning.
A quick locus cache before I had to head into work.
Luckily there was no caves because I might have been scared in the dark
SL. Took keyring, left Teddy Bear.

A quick find on our school holiday cache day, you would want to approach this cache from the right side in winter . Tftc!
Stopped in today with Semik, and put in a new container, so happy caves walking guys.

Made the find with Mrs. Flipper when she replaced the container. The old one was in pretty shabby condition. So all is well and swag and log is fresh.
#1130 The cache name intrigued me so off we went. A pleasant walk with our geodog but not what I expected from the name - but that's ok. Found the container quickly but it is split and the contents wet. Thanks for the walk FLIPPER&CO
Cache has split, lid does not seal anymore. Replacement container required before it rains.
Nice start to the day, with a nice easy walk..
Might need a new container, and a relocation over a bit...

Another good cache found fairly quickly on my holiday in Adelaide. Really having a great time touring the area. SL TFTC
It is amazing what you can find when the sour-sobs aren't around. Second time lucky today - quick, easy find.

10 min search. The GPS was spot on.
Wet grass = wet shoes.
The container still needs to be replaced. Despite being well covered the contents are very damp.
Nice walk in a nice spot.

Area is currently a bit overgrown with weeds and GPSr was a bit all over the place. Had a look in the most obvious spots without any luck. Will return when things dry out a bit.
Went past today, however everything was over-grown and wet.
We chose to come back on a dry day.

A nice short walk along the creek. A quick find and managed to get some spikes from the prickle bushes in me. Mrs Tardis and Toddler Tardis missed out on all the fun as Toddler Tardis was sleeping in the car. SL. TFTC.
Day 264 of non-stop caching.
Day 264 of non-stop caching.
Container is cracked and was wet inside. Needs some TLC. Left upside down to allow the water to drain out.
Located after the GPSr had to have a cup of tea and a sit down. The cache is in pretty poor condition, big cracks in the walls and no way of sealing it from the weather. Log was ok in its plastic bag. Swaps a bit mangy, but I left a (plastic) lion and took the grumpy tweety bird. Put it all back and hope the rain stays out.
Our 700th find just had to be one of those "easy" ones that you just can't find. We searched for a good 15 minutes before making the find, and the hide isn't that hard!
The Log book is still a tad damp.
TNLN SL TFTC
now time to go and relax!

A nice little walk and the cache was easily found as someone had uncovered its camouflage! It all seemed intact so I signed the log and did a quick swag swap for knipper jr and then covered it up well. It is still a bit damp do it may need some TLC soon. TFTC
Tried to dry out the log for a bit as it was quiet wet. Either the prickle bushes have grown or cache has been moved from where it is described in the description. Not one I would recommend for summer but im sure the park would look better in winter. TFTC
While geo-wife was at a meeting in the vicinity why not find some caches. Coming from the other side of the city geocaching brings you to places one would not normally visit. So thanks for the opportunity to spend time walking through part of this park.
The cache had a small a mount of water in the bottom but the logs were dry.
Took a battery which I disposed of replacing it with twittee bird. TFTC Flipper & Co.

Just after I left the cache and walking back to the car a slasher moved into that part of the reserve. It wouldn't hurt to check to see if the cache is OK.
Arriving at GZ in the rain with geokiddies there was an instant......Ahhhhh sour sobs.....how are we going to find it...
A bit of poking and prodding and we had it in hand!

I had retreived the container and took it back to the track for business... I was still in business attire from work and as I was signing the log, a muggle came round the bend with his god off the leash... He proptly called the dog and reattached said lead, so he wouldn;t get into trouble from the official looking guy about 20m away... As he was passing, I told him he could let the dog off again and let it have a good run... He was most pleased with my response and thanked me... Hey, what do I care... I was on other business...
Cheers Flipper&Co.

Second visit to this one. Muggle working on his roof adjacent to GZ first time sent me away empty handed.
Took a few minutes, but then spotted the "camo" and took TB.
Poor Marvin has been here nearly a month. See if we can't move you somewhere warmer.

From reading the past logs I was expecting this find to be a little difficult. GPS took us straight to the area and we spotted the cache with ease.
Thanks for bringing us here.
Could not find any caves though. [?]

As I looked in the most likely place, my daughter spotted it a way off. So a find to her, Took Joker badge, left kangaroo key ring. TFTC.
Found with Matto the muggle. It's well coverd, and not quite where I'd normally look for a cache.
I was about to say that we give up as Margieh spotted it so the old give up and go trick worked this time. TFTC
Nice walk to this one and the rain had passed and the sun shining... Searched everywhere and even found what I thought were the caves but no cache... About to give up and I spotted something not quite right and luckily it was the cache... Thanks guys for the cache
A nice place to go for a walk at the end of a hot day.
GPS was playing up, so found it based on Google Maps marker placement - spot on!
Signed the log, no swaps.

This was cache # 30 of 65 for the day, in the company of Alansee on our five day long weekend Adelaide caching Bonanza. No trouble on this one, wow the caves are a long way from here. My thanks to Brett & Richary adopted by FLIPPER&CO for the cache.
Found on a hot day while caching with Acts2youthgroup. Got to gz ok and started searching. My peripheral vision is lousy but thankfully his is better.
