After spending a large chunk of the day geocaching around the area found a set of coordinates to get to this location. After calculating the coordinates walked to gz and coordinates are spot-on and cache quickly found and signed. Thanks you for a fun journey today On a caching holiday from Mackay. In the search of old caches and ones to fill DT grid spaces. Thanks for placing this cache for our enjoyment with mackay_geocaching. Have mostly had clear sunny days on our trip.*Found with [Geooh GO](https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.mobiltal.geoohGO)*
Out on the caching trail again with alphag_25. Going for some caches today to fill a grid and also to pick up some older caches, we managed to find all of the coordinates with the help of the CO at The Pines. Despite trepidation due to impending darkness, quickly found cache before alphag_25 could even make it off the trail. TFTC
Thanks a lot for hiding this one. This one made my list because I'm working on the California Original Fizzy Challenge. Basically a fizzy challenge but all hides have to be hidden before March of 2007. I did the work required to figure out the final yesterday. Today, I parked up top and made my way down. I struggled a bit. My coords were bouncing. I did skip two of the caches that I didn't really need to find because the last digit doesn't really matter but I knew I was in the right spot based on the photos. Eventually, I reached out to a former finder. Ok. That's where I thought it should be. I looked there again, really digging, and uncovered the container. It's a bit too small of a container to be hidden like that as it gets hidden by the brush. Anyway, Thanks for keeping this series active all these years. Back when I first started caching, series like this (find 6 caches and get the final) were much more common. Not too many lasted that long though because you are dependent on several caches being maintained.
Great hike and great experience - Searching for the cache during the thunderstorm!!! Cudos for the sudoku!!
While at breakfast this morning I noted 2 caches in the area that would complete our 10th DT loop. We couldnt pass up that opportunity! We parked and JDavs elected to stay in the car due to the innumerable amount of death birds guarding the entrance to the path. Peppa and I made our way to GZ and made the find. A massive thanks to Peppa, this wouldnt have been possible today without him. I now need to return the favour and help him stumble over a few more loops.Tftc Crew 153Find #4627
Our whole mission for the long weekend was to to find the Paradise series. When I say the whole mission, I mean drink lots of wine and get up to what adults do when their kids are at home and the parents are out to play.
Our problem was that we had forgot to factor in the Gold Coast traffic. Cleaning them up in one day is almost impossible when there is a festival and people lining up at Dan Murphys.
We were prepared and after finding our last cache we waited out the front of Dan Murphys to plot this hide. We were rewarded with another scenic view of the coat although the trees tried to ruin it. tftc

Read some previous logs and realised how close we were. A bit if determination and we soon had the little blighter in hand. Modified the flooring area so that noone has to dog hunt too far to make the find. This cache is currently a micro size. Loved the walk in, a friendly guy passed by just as we were nearing gz.
12/4/2023 Find #6045
SaintsMadHouse and I decided to stick to our weekly Wednesday Madness, even with school holidays, and decided to hit up the Gold Coast today.
The particular goal in mind was to grab some of those nice old caches around, and maybe throw in another one or two that happened to be nearby.
And of course, adding a few more finds on the Crew153 count ticks another list for me too.
I was rather happy at this stage to now have all the Paradise series finally complete, having done one or two of them a couple of years or so ago but never getting back and finishing them.
Today however, I found SaintsMadHouse and myself making our way here to the final of the series (once we corrected the error in where the gps wanted us to park…. Twice).
Heading down and around to GZ there were already questions about what the hike back up was going to be like (it wasn’t that bad after all), and arriving at GZ we began scratching around at the likely spot before widening our search. It was then that we began to feel a little concerned that our spares were back up that hill and one of us might have to go up and back twice therefore, but reading some logs we then realised the cache might not be as big as it used to be and began scratching a little more.
Victory! Log signed we replaced it a bit more “obviously” to a geocacher but still well hidden from any muggles, and headed back up to the car.
Thanks for the cache Crew 153.

Tranquillity is having a feeling of peace and quiet after disposing the asshole who tail gated you for 20km down the Pacific Highway, on the way to the Gold Coast.
What really helped unwind was the short stroll to GZ in this tranquil patch of bushland. Thanks to Crew 153 for keeping this series active.

Made the trip down here to do the Bravo hotel cache as well as a few other target caches.
The hides were all fun.

Out for a day of caching on the Fabulous Gold Coast with Patrol14 with a couple of target caches spread from Molendinar to Burleigh…
This older was a must find for today… just like it was the last time we were down here, and even the time before that… I’ve been here once before, alone, and walked away doubting my numbers… so I contacted one of the Brisbane oracles and had my numbers confirmed…
So today with reinforcements, Patrol14, we set about searching all the same places I did last time… kept coming back to the one spot and even said, that’s where I think it should be… it was in fact there all along… I/we just didn’t dig enough…
Very happy to finally have this oldie off my back…
Tftc…?? dropping a fave for the whole experience…

On the GC with Peppa for another fun day chasing down caches to help with certain challenges on the Northside of Brisbane.
This was a must do cache for today, first time visit for me but not for Peppa. At GZ we searched all around but couldn't find it. With intel from a previous finder we kept coming back to one spot.
Now Peppa was like a dog with a bone, kept searching this spot until he unearthed the container. Not what we expected but happy to have found it. SL then returned as found. Glad to have finally found this one.

The Igorina Clinic is located on Slippery Back and is a valuable addition to the wide panoply of medical services to be found in the city of Ankh-Morpork. it offers discreet consultation and evaluation of the kind of improvements that can be made to the physical form of those women who feel they were short-changed by Nature. Igorinas are justly renowned for the delicacy and near-invisibility of their stitching, and any Igorina is a walking advertisement for self-improvement. a group of enterprising Igorinas decided to offer their specialist services to Womankind of all races, including trolls. Golems of a Gladys persuasion are also considered, and it is believed renowned sculptress Daniellarina Pouter is on call as a Consultant for clay surgery of this sort.
I’m down the coast caching with CaptainVimes today. The walk up to this one certainly got the heart beating and the legs burning after yesterday’s hike. I was expecting a larger container but I should’ve recognised the hide quicker. Thanks for the cache
After a walk around Burleigh headland went and grabbed this oldie. Lovely walk and a quick find. TFTC Crew 153
TGG convinced me that we should get out the seadoo out today and ferret about and what a task that was, this was time invested to tick off a candidate on a Challenge. After a cut lunch and frozen margarita we came across pay dirt and cheered so much the dogs in the neighbourhood joined in chorus. TICK, not sure how??
Muggle65 and l came out here on a hope shot. He wanted this DT for his puzzle loop so we decided to see if we could ride our seadoo to the cache. Certainly don't recommend this course of action. Not an easy way to do it at all. Would have been quicker to go find the other caches. At least we were able to put a new container and log in place. Awesome that you are keeping this old lady going
With the information finally in hand off I went to search for this one. Very pleased to have a well maintained path as still in my things. Log book is mush so signed the piece of paper left by the previous finder. What a gorgeous spot of forest!!!
We have been collecting all the geocaches in this series over the last couple of years. This morning we found the final numbers we needed, although we were still one number short due to having not been able to find that particular hide.
With just one number missing, we were able to narrow this one down to 10 possible sets of coordinates.
We plotted all the coordinates on the map and then looked at possible trails and the most likely locations.
Of our 10 possibilities, it was number four that lead us to a well hidden container just off a beautiful track.
Yippee! It’s great to have found the final, and we thank Crew 153 for maintaining and keeping alive this very old Queensland series.
Thanks. A FP for the adventures!

I had collected the clues for some, but not all of these over the years. But it was enough that I could limit the hide down to about 64 different locations... I was in a very interesting work retreat on the Gold Coast for the last two days, so I could limit the choices down to a mere handful of places. Then I could order them from likely to not likely. I thought I had failed in the first location, but then spotted the container. The log is literal jelly. I don't think there is distinction between log pages any more, just a blob. I have a photo if needed. TFTC!
Trying to tick this one off for a long time after solving the sudoku during round one of quarantine earlier this year! A great little walk to get to GZ, we had 2 possibilities given we were unable to get the code for SNobby due to container damage. Our initial location did not match the T rating so off we went to location 2. A very quick find was had! We tried our best to sign the soaking wet log thanks to all the recent rain. This one will definitely need some maintenance as well. TFTC CREW153 we really enjoyed this series.
We have finally got it! Thanks for the adventure.
Logs needs replacing due to being wet!

Selva Girls and I headed down to the Gold Coast today, chasing a FTF which I notice the other day. So today target was Adventure Lab which a bonus cache.
So the count was 3 mystery, multi, earthcache, 16 Traditional and AL with 5 waypoints. 26 finds.
Sorry for the generic post.

Having finally found *Currumbin* cache this morning we set off to find this final.
We started this series over 4 years ago so we’re happy this one is still in play.
Parked the car at the given coords and followed the path up to the cache.
Was fairly easy to spot its hide. All good and dry here.
This gets a Fave Point from us for the beaut (and sometimes frustrating) series.
Thanks for the fun Crew 153.

We finally found Currumbin to complete the series and get the this mystery. We ran into a bit of a snag but the CO very graciously helped out.
Off we went to the final co-ords. We looked at various parking options and found what we reckoned was the best. The choice turned out pretty good and we were at GZ with a short downhill walk and started the search after a jogger went past, wheezing his way up the hill.
Soon saw a sign and had the prize in hand. As previous cachers had mentioned, the container was wet inside and the log just sodden pulp. We were for-armed with some paper towel and a new log so all is well now. Signed the nice blank first page and replaced into its hide with perhaps a little more draining opportunity of the surrounds.
TFTC Crew 153 and a fave for this and the series.

Came out to n the early evening to see if I could find this one after a long time searching. Everything checked out and I was able to make it to my destination with ease.
Found the container alright but it was full of water and the log totally saturated and impossible to sign. I left a little piece of paper in there with my name on it as evidence of my finding but it really needs an overhaul.
Good news is the cache is still in play

Today I had a family gathering in Ballina so on the way down I set a few target caches to collect. I had a tree climb, a rock climb, a couple of oldies and one to fill a space in my d/t grid. We still had to continue my trad a day and my cache a day challenges, which is now starting to become a difficult challenge due to fitting it in with my work and the lack of local caches. We had 6 caches lined up around the gold coast area and we were hoping all would be present.
This was our fourth cache for the morning and while no one was around it was the perfect opportunity to go for search. Charli was not so keen to grab this one as it was well buried and covered in mud. We managed to get it out and open but only to find it was very wet inside. Unable to sign we emptied out the water and replaced in its hide with a little less mud, lol.
Thank you placing this one here for us to enjoy.

Lovely walk down to this cache It was much quicker going down than it was going back up though TFTC
Probably didn’t park in the greatest location to park after killing my no guts car going up the hill! We walked up then down it were pleased that we were successful and rewarded with nice pathtags left by the previous finders.
Day 68 Mainland trip
Out and about caching with Tassie Trekkers and we stopped to search for this cache. As we were a digit short we came up with a couple of possibilities, one was no good but the other seemed plausible. After a lot of searching, no cache was found. We contacted the CO who confirmed we were in the correct spot and with his permission the cache has been replaced. It is now a small sistema, hopefully securely hidden to stop it disappearing. We think a bush turkey may have dislodged it from its hide. We saw quite a number scratching in the area. TFTP and the series.

Caching in the area with whitewebbs who replaced the cache, nice to tick this series off.
A nice area to explore sighting several bush turkeys.
Thanks Crew 153 for placing this cache for our enjoyment.

A few weeks ago we had spent a Sunday down on the Gold Coast with Mrs SP with this series on our target. We had triumphs and tears, well that’s a bit of exaggeration there were no tears, but there was coffee and KFC. We ventured in here in high spirits after PAFing what we couldn’t find on another cache so that we could try and get the final. Mr 4ando chose the not as close spot as we found today last time, in all fairness his way was a nice trail, today our way was down the slope. We had to leave empty handed last time as it looked like the cache had gone MIA.
After discussions with the CO, he informed us a new cache was in place. The tricky thing for the 4andos was to get back here as time is running short this time of the year. The decision was made for Mr 4ando to continue on working for the day while Mrs 4ando had a fat time caching and lunching with Mrs SP.
It was a quick find today and we were happy to add our names to the log, thanks Crew 153 for the replacement of this cache. Leaving a FP here for the series, we really enjoyed it. Time to now make the important decision of what’s for lunch.

Wednesday. Out today with Mrs 4ando and we saw this cache was replaced after MIA last time we were here which was only a few days ago. Nice to see we were cache blind Good to see this cache back in action. Found the short way down to this one this time, which was somewhat faster than last trip!
This was the 2nd of 6 caches found on today's trip.
Thanks ***Crew 153***, for showing us this place.

After the storm earlier in the afternoon is was surprising cool for the end of October and I felt the chill as I headed along the path to the location.
It is over 8 years since I was last here but I always enjoy the glimpses of views between the trees.
I dropped off a new cache as there had been reports that the old one was missing.

Greetings from Norfolk Island South Pacific
It has taken a few years to gather all the clues for this cache, but finding a couple of caches in this series earlier this year put me on the path to the final coords. After a week of attending Commonwealth Games events I had a few hours spare to go grab some caches. A easy find at The final. TFTC

So pleased to complete this series today - a few hiccups but it was great to walk down the path to GZ. Thanks for the series Crew 153.
we took a lovely walk found a cache, signed a log and that series is finished. I enjoyed this series. TFTC
Out with stortigirls, collecting a few targeted caches. This was my main target for the day as it fills another square on my D/T grid. I had some assistance with the puzzle. With the final coords in my phone, we headed to GZ. We parked the car and admired the views from there before heading down the path. How lovely and quiet it is here. We didn't see anyone else, so the birds were singing for us. At GZ, the cache was quickly located and the log signed. TFTC
Out caching with Selva Girls today, we had several target caches to find. This one was a D/T square for both of us on the way to our next loop. We parked near gz and made the walk through the very tranquil surrounds to find the container and sign our names. Tftc radnoski
This has been a great adventure leading up to finding the final with magnificent views at all WP's. Found with geo friends on a picture perfect day. Thanks Radnoski for the good hides, a favourite point and TFTC
Anyone who has done this series know that it takes you too some awesome natural spots within all the concrete of suburbia and this spot lived up to the promise of all the other cache sites in the series.
I didn't manage to finish off currumbin as i got a dnf there, but sitting at home i did the puzzle for this one and crunched the numbers and found i had a couple of spots with potential. Curiosity got the better of me.. and rather than heading back for potential defeat again at currumbin, I headed to the area of the best looking of my projected coords.
Cool place here and I am glad to have approached from the angle i did. A nice stroll and i was at 2m all of a sudden. In the needles direction looked a promising feature, which with triumph i realised was concealing the stash. Woohoo!
A nice sized container too, so i bid farewell to a couple of hitchhikers to hang out here for a while. Ive gotta go though, so i signed the log, put everything back in place, and strolled back to the geo jeep enjoying the beautiful day and the birdsong surrounding me in this great location.
Cheers to the cachers past and present resposible for this series and it's upkeep. Fave point awarded.

I enjoyed finding the rest of the Paradise caches and completing the sudoku to get the final coordinates.
It was an enjoyable stroll up the hill in a deserted conservation reserve and a fairly straightforward find at GZ. I took the 3 TB's too to take them on their journeys.
Thanks for this adventure, it was great fun and epitomised what geocaching is about for me.

After grabbing the last few clues that I needed for this one I managed to extract a set of co-ords that looked okay. I arrived at the parking area and the area was nice and quiet.
I headed off towards GZ and must say that the walk was very invigorating. I was soon at GZ where the cache was soon in hand.
Once the log was signed all was returned as found.
Thanks for an interesting series that took me to some places that I hadn't visited in a very long time. A favourite point for the series.

#5,700 I had completed the Sudoku the night before so was all set to go.
We completed the sums at the last cache and had a great set of coordinates.
Arrived at the starting place about 8 pm. It was dark.
RoddyC had asked a muggle about the walking tracks around the park and he said they were in excellent condition. RoddyC checked with the CO that the coordinates were correct and indeed they were.
Off we head. It was very tranquil with only traffic noise and planes over head. We saw glimpses of the city lights through the trees.
By the time we reached GZ, we were in a lather of perspiration and geopartner went ahead to locate the cache where I said the direction was and there it was.
Signed the log and returned the container to its hide.
Beautiful trees which I love the smell of.
A much easier walk to return to the geomobile
One tree showed up which the fig had encapsulated the host tree and it was just a stump of its previous glory.
TNLNSL TFTC Thanks radnoski and Crew 153 for a very interesting series.
A favourite from me

A long day, early start stretching from just across the border to Carrara, and around 26 caches logged. Phew! So it was late when we arrived at the suggested coordinates with no idea at where we were going. A Muggle was walking his dog back to his car and told us he lived just 100 meters away, so we showed him the map from here to GZ and he assured us it was a well-defined sealed pathway - should be no trouble. Nevertheless, I rang Crew153 just to check that our coordinates were correct as we didn't want to be wandering around at night in the bush if they were incorrect. We were assured they were correct, so off we set.
Although it was tranquil, we could only see some of the night lights through the tall trees. A humid night saw us all covered with perspiration by the time we arrived at GZ. The cache was easy to find - Geo-Benders mounted the bush and called us all up to his find. Fabulous tree, even in the dark.
The walk back was much easier!

Well having finally found all the information required to complete the puzzle, we finally had the co-ords for ground zero and with Mrs Just a Trifle heading to Christchurch from Cooloongatta Airport, we decided to take a short detour and enjoy the tranquillity. In typical fashion though of course we didn't have the parking co-ords and with it being dark already, we ended up taking the hard way in to ground zero. The cache was easily located and with our name in the logbook, we were off to catch a plane.
Thank you radnoski for having adopted the series for everyone to enjoy - a favourite point for an enjoyable series.

On our way home from a weekend in Coolangatta with OrionJ we planned on finishing the Paradise series we had started on our way down. Finally we had everything we needed to work our the coords for this final Puzzle one. Parked as near to GZ as we could and we headed uphill for a little stroll. We finally reached where we needed to be only to find a guy spraying weeds across the track. To fill in time until he might move on we headed futher up the track seeing a number of joggers and more council workers along the way. In the end we headed back and found the first guy was out of sight of where we needed to be so it was a quick move off the path to retrieve cache and add our names to the log.
Thank you Crew 153 for placing this series and radnoski for taking over the care of these ones. We thoroughly enjoyed doing this series and going to more places we may not otherwise have visited. We consider the series deserves a big favourite. TFTC

After making a start on this series on Saturday while driving south to Coolangatta myself and LHE Duo were able to finish what was needed this morning on the way back to Brisbane.
Finally once we had made the last find, we put the information together having already solved the sudoko. Soon a set of numbers was formed and the new numbers added, soon we were heading in that direction.
After parking the walk was a little tough, but doable. But then it almost seemed that it was going to fall apart, just as the GPSr indicated to leave the track in one direction, the other side of the path was a guy spraying for weeds....Really of all places and he seemed to be going super slow as well.
So we continued along the track to see what was here, and after being passed by a few runners and bike rider, we end up turning around and heading back in the direction of GZ. By the time we got there it was actually clear. He had moved off out of sight of where we needed to be. A quick dash and a find soon had our names in the log book and the cache re hidden.
A great little series and a great way to finish it off.

Wow! I love this series so much and this wonderful final cache! Took a super cool little torch. Left a little pack of cards, a mini smartphone stylus and a weird little guy. Had a really good time. Thank you so much to everyone who plays a part in this series. Favourite for me!
Hooray I have finally completed the series
It is one day short of four years since I found my first in the series - The Pines.
With all my clues now noted and the sudoku well and truly completed, I set off for the final and enjoyed this wonderful location. It was really quite tranquil and very fitting for a final location.
Thanks very much for what has turned to be a thoroughly enjoyable series.

After the gut-wrenching disappointment here of a few days ago, I persuaded my family to come to the GC on what turned out to be a rainy day so I could find three high-priority targets.
This time we came in from the top, and I was surprised at how quickly I was able to reach my last GZ (confirmed by the original CO). After reading a few logs, I grabbed a stick and set to poking around the most obvious target (exactly where I had looked last time) then several others, getting nice and dirty but with no win at all. I expanded the search area further and tried again, but eventually had to return to the car empty-handed, wet, muddy and badly in need of a coffee, which we found down in the main drag.
While I was recuperating, I tried another PAF who confirmed the precise location, so off I went again and excavated the area down to dirt with not a trace of a cache to be seen. I then contacted the CO and explained the situation. He has graciously offered to allow me to log a find, and I have put a replacement cache at an obvious point close to the final coordinates, until such time as the CO is able to come and check things out personally.
This hunt today left me wet, bleeding, muddy and pretty frustrated: after somewhere around 1-3 hours searching over a couple of days, I'd be amazed if the original cache was still there somewhere, but the terrain is so thick, it's not impossible. TFTC which fills my third last D/T matrix square, and is the culmination of a really excellent series; a must-do if you visit the Gold Coast.

I have been dedicating myself recently to completing my D/T matrix, and this cache was intended to be my third last square. So today I pounded my way around the Gold Coast, finding five of the six lead up caches, then sitting in the car park at Talle Ho doing the sudoku, then heading at speed to these coordinates.
Unfortunately, the cache I couldn't complete contained a very important number, so I opted to guesstimate it. I dislike the PAF option unless it's an absolute geo-emergency. In hindsight, this probably was, but as you'll see, I lost it as an option anyway.
With dusk falling, I hit the trail hard and was puffing by the time I hit the top. My predicted GZ was well off the track, but down I went anyway and searched here, there and everywhere. After quite a few minutes of combing my way up and down the hill, I suddenly came to an awful realization... What if my guesstimated figure was *ahem* not quite right? I rapidly added a digit and set off again, all the way up, all the way down and all the way around to my new GZ. This looked promising, and so I set to the target area in a frenzy, digging all around, then expanding the area up, across and down... To no avail. With no Hints on the page, and reports of the cache being virtually buried, this was always going to be tricky but now it seemed more and more difficult.
My phone power went down to single figures as I sat and read logs as rapidly as possible, but the more I read, the more they sounded like they could apply to either of my GZs! Then the figure went to... Blip. Out.
Choice: hang around and check out everything here again, try to calculate yet another GZ with no phone... Or just go home empty-handed and return another day. I knew I was needed at home tonight so the DNF option was the only one.
I would have to call this one of the most disappointing DNFs I've ever had, because it's so far from home, I put in so much effort today and wanted it so much. I guess I'll check my sudoku and maths, then see if the Currumbin cache becomes a little clearer, then start seeking more hints as a last resort. TFTC anyway: I do hope to be back soon!

What a great series.
the final view was a bit overgrown ... but still a great spot and feeling to finish that wonderful round.

#529 ~ What a long, long day here on the Gold Coast, dragged around, made to do thinking on non-work and non-uni days, but we made it... finally. Starving hungry we tried many roads to get here, most of them actually non existent so there was lots of turning around and trying a different path. When we finally got here I remembered that there is always an easier way out than there is in, so while dahumbug thought about sliding down to GZ I found the easier path. So many vines, so many cuts around my ankles now but we found it, very well hidden by ground cover. But we're done and dusted, thank goodness. Thanks for a fun series and making our trip worthwhile. Well...
I finally completed this series with the lovely company of *SuzySquirrel* who was a champion to offer to tag along for the day and help me find these caches. I have to admit, I just assumed I was heading to find some sort of trivial qualifying caches to claim the final, but I was pleasantly surprised where these caches took us to. Max(Crew153) did a magnificent job of placing these caches. Every container along the way, although very well hidden, there was an adequate hint to locate the hidden gem and especially on this one. We thought we were going to fly through this series and quickly solve the sodoku, but we got held hostage to the great locations. If that happens I just go with it as it is not about the numbers, its about having a good time and I hate being rushed to find caches. Also I hate when I put pressure on myself to find that "must find" cache and I am slowly learning how to deal with that anxiety.Well we are running late for the event, or is a non event...thats one that will be talked about for a while I assume.
Thanks Crew153/ Radnoski for bringing me to the Gold Coast and getting me/us exploring some places that I/we normally wouldn't and thanks to SuzySquirrel for the company, and forgetting about all those tempting caches we drove past.
And...thats a tick.

Relogging this under individual account, previously a member of Gaz'n'Kab account.
Out bright and early this morning, and we had one thing on our minds, and it was this cache We pulled up at the posted coords, and began the walk in to GZ. We enjoyed the walk in, although quite steep, it was a beatiful patch of bush, so close to suburbia . We soon made our way towards GZ, and after a few false attempts with locating GZ, we soon spotted the cache We added our names to the logbook, and returned the cache as found, and enjoyed the walk back to the car [^]

This has been a fantastic series that has taken almost two months to complete!
We begun this series on 30 November 2013 where we found The Pines, TalleHo and Scribbly Gum.
On 25 January 2014 we tried to look for SNobby, Currumbin and Tarrabora but had no luck with all of them.
Using the help of the CO, we found SNobby on 26 January 2014 as well as revisiting Scribbly Gum to record the code letter (which we forgot to do the first time).
Today (with the help of the CO and other geocachers) we found Currumbin and Tarrabora.
We then made our way to Burleigh and went on a long hike to the find Tranquility. The coordinates were around 25 metres off the path (down the slope) so we weren't eager to venture down there. Then we spotted a fascinating tree that had plenty of spots to hide a cache. Within seconds the cache was found and signed!
Thanks radnoski and Crew 153 for putting together this series. It has been great - TH4!

This year we have a long winter holiday when we are travelling in the Pacific. We are doing sightseeing and geocaching. Now we will spend a six week period in Australia where we will drive from Melbourne to Murray Bridge and then via Grampians to Canberra, Sidney and Brisbane.
Staying in Tweeds Head for some nights we wanted to look around in the area. We thougth that this serie should take us to nice places. And yes it did. We managed to get around in a day and found them all. We also did some other stops. I can not say that this is the nicest part of Australia that we have visited, it is too much traffic and too much people and too many big hotels. BUT the beaches are amazing.
The sudoku was solved during lunch and now we had to put in correct numbers in the coordinates. Then we drove to a place where we thougt we should start the walk to GZ. But once agian this day we had found a parking place that did not take us to the cache. After a short drive we found a new place to park and then it was a easy stroll to the cache. Cache was found and logged.
Thanks for a really nice serie of caches. We give fp's to some of the caches.

I had spotted this cache as I was checking up caches that would help my stats. I sent Nyssaflutterby a message asking her if she would like to grab this one with me. She had already looked at the cache and was very happy to accompany me. We made plans but they fell through and then another time we got rained out. Last night I got an invitation to come with Nyssaflutterby and Lady Membsec to do the series and I jumped at it. We were soon down on the Gold Coast and a few hours later we were parking the car at the closest point to the final coordinates after working them out over lunch.
We hopped out of the car and headed down. Apparently there was a path as we found out as we got closer to GZ. Nyssaflutterby seemed to sprint off ahead which left Lady Membsec and I to head down slower and steadier. It didn't seem to help though as we got continuously tangled up in grabby vines and Lady Membsec falling once and cutting her leg. We were eventually at GZ and signed our names in the logbook and then Nyssaflutterby returned it to where she found it. We all headed back up to the car and were very happy to have a rest in the car when we got to the top. Thanks for the series Crew 153 and Thank you for maintaining them Radnoski.

We were on a mission today with Nyssaflutterby and Net88. We needed to do this series to fill in our D/T chart. We loved this series and after getting all the information we needed we decided to have lunch and quietly work out the coords for this cache. Mmmm.....ok, it's there. We looked to find the closest park near GZ. After zig-zaging our way in we finally got close to GZ. Our iPhone sent me in the wrong direction but we soon corrected ourselves and we bushed bashed our way in. For some reason Nyssa was able to cope better with the terrain than Net and myself. When we were game enough to look up we spotted Nyssa in front of us with the cache. We have come this far we will get to the cache too. Yeah, happy dance and cheers. Signed the log and replaced carefully. Now do we take the path or bush bash. Bush bash was the answer so up we went. I think I forgot to tell you about my graceful fall at one stage and Net kept getting hooked up with items she didn't want to be friends with. Finally we made it back to the car and some Hi 5s. We really had a lot of fun and starting to warm to multi's, maybe!!!! Thank you Nyssa for suggesting this series, well worth it.
We have to give the series a favourite point
Thanks again radnoski for the series.

Revisited this special cache to set loose a Canukian coin I picked up from Singapore. Hope the next person to find the cache will take it and continue with the travels.
Having discovered and recorded the 4 remaining codes I needed yesterday, I pinpointed the location of Tranquility last night and made the short trek to find it early this morning. This is a great network of paths and given that it is so clogged with fitness muggles at Miami Beach it is amazing to find this area completely free of any other human life. The find was easy in the end, but this spot was so pleasant, it reminds me of the paths up on Tugan hills. Picked up the rubber Dickie TB, dropped my seasons path tag Sherpa geocoin here. A fav point from me too. Tftc radnoski
Was down in the area for an appointment, and having now done all the others in the series, squired the needed clues, and, solved the final coords, thought it was about time I got the final....!
I walked from the suggested parking coords, a pleasant walk with a but of a steep area, but covered the required distance pretty quick
The cache was well buried at GZ, and some scratching about had the cache in hand.
A nice series of interesting caches completed over a 3 year period, believe it or not. I did some while on holidays before moving up here.
Thanks to the original CO for placing series and to Radnoski for maintaining. Fav point given.

Visiting from Newcastle, returning from Caloundra, staying at Kingscliff, had previously found five of the series, but had to return to Scribbly Gum to get the info, it has taken a few years to finish this, gets a favorite, I couldn't believe that someone had found it this very morning! TFTC radnoski!!
Wow what an epic series, well it was for me anyway. I had to visit five of the six caches twice for various reasons before I had everything I needed to find this one. I just ticked off the last three this morning then headed straight for the hill with the final co-ords punched into my phone. Going by other locations at this time of the morning I was expecting to see crazy people running up and down the pathway but it was so quite. Apart from the odd car driving past it was like a ghost town which suited me fine. I grabbed my things then headed off.
It's so nice when you find or should I say be shown wonderful patches of bushland like this in the middle of suburbia. Half way up and I can't understand why there isn't anyone taking their morning walk or run through here. It seems the pathway is regularly cleaned down so the council hasn't forgotten about it, which is great for the locals.
I reckon this one should be called mini burleigh boulders, it almost has the same look and fell to Burleigh nation park on the other side of the Gold Coast Hwy. The same type of rock only smaller scattered throughout the area as the other side too.
Anyway I followed the path up and around watching the gps once I had about 50m to go. I was getting close when I looked over and spotted a SPOS but the gps wanted me to carry on. Once the gps caught up I was long past GZ. So back I went to the SPOS and with a bit of digging around I finally found Tranquility.
Well I don't know about everyday but today it is VERY tranquil at GZ. The trees are closing in but you can still see the awesome view. I added my name to the list of lucky finders and dropped in Geoduck the TB, he only just fits in.
A favorite for sure and a big thanx to C153 and radnoski for keeping this great series alive.

Out and about for a crazy day on the Gold Coast with teamdfl. This series was my main target for the day And I am very pleased to grab the final. OH YES INDEED!!!! But first to the story.
I found SNobby on a holiday way back in January 2012, when I was a newbie, and forgot to make a note of the clue so had to go back the next afternoon to grab it Then I promptly forgot all about the series and it wasn't until teamdfl told me a couple of weeks ago about the rare Difficulty/Terrain star rating the final has (there are only 16 in the whole of Australia!) that I became interested again. I had a look at the final's page and realised I had to do a bit of sudoku solving before I could go any further, but happily it was easily done [^]
So, with me feeling armed and dangerous, a plan was hatched between us for a jaunt to the Gold Coast, with the collection of the other 6 in the series being a priority, and we set off this morning with high hopes. It certainly took a few hours to manage as we got distracted a couple of times by other interesting caches [^] but eventually I was able to make all 6 into smilies All clues noted and plotted on the sudoku grid, and I had a final GZ!!! Woohoo! teamdfl approved my numbers and we set off in the general direction. My, ummm... "interesting" navigational skills eventually brought us to the right parking spot, and we took the walk. The numbers slowly counted down until I was 8 metres away, and so I headed off the track. Mmmm, poke here, poke there, then CLONK!!!! Ohhhh, yessss!!! I extracted the cache from its hidey-hole and duly admired it, took photos and signed the log book. Happiness everywhere, at least on my part
I am very pleased to say that this almost unique-to-Queensland geocache fills in the last hole on my Difficulty/Terrain matrix [^] Woohoo!!!!
Thanks for placing this cache and series, Crew 153, and for keeping it going, radnoski. A pleasure to see it done! A favourite point from me for the series.

After walking to few of the Herbz caches up the hill I was heading home and remembered I had a solution to this cache after finding the last one yesterday.
So a detour was A MUST.
I parked at a different spot than suggested...but...yeah whatever...
So I arrived at GZ and went around and around and around...poking here, poking there. nothing.
I phoned a friend and was told I am in the right spot but I do not have the co-ords.....but there was .....
So with a little extra info I widened my search area....and poke, poke, thunk. yippee.
Now home for a beer...or three.
Thanks for the cache.

What a great series! I did this with elemental6.. we didn't have the Tarrabora code which made the find more difficult. We had a line about 150m long to search through! But, we eventually found it. It made the difficulty 5 rating more pertinent! The cache was a little wet so we dried it out and replaced the bag. I also left a pen there for those like me who sometimes forget them in the car! Thanks for this series
Finally did the series, Completed with wayn0, over about a month. We had to guess the number from the Tarrabora cache, but really there are only a few choices. Really enjoyed this one!
This was the climax of our family caching challenge. We met at the car park here in the morning and all headed off. Only two out of three teams made it back to try and find the final cache. Only one of the teams [Team Aidenkai, headed up by our most competitive family member!] got here without any cheating [sorry!]. We were still missing the clue from Tarrabora but we hoped by a process of elimination to still be able to track down the cache. ! Our fearless leader also had with him... four children, one pregnant wife, two grandparents... and one old dog [who got stuck in vines!] and, ....it was getting dark! The area is amazing and the views are stunning [as we saw the coastal lights come on! This spot gets a favorite from me even though I have to come back to actually find the cache. This is a great series, it was perhaps a bit ambitious to try and do them all in one day but possible...especially if we had started earlier. A great series to do in good weather and take advantage of the swimming spots. Thanks Radnoski and Crew 153 for this fun challenge.
I had a lot of frustration and fun doing this series. I found some of the other caches necessary by bike and one by kayak. I've had a great time doing it, even though I did more walking than was necessary by parking in the wrong spots.
This cache is in ok order, the container has leaked and the log book bag was damp so I replaced that, tipped all the water out and put the whole thing back. there has been heaps of rain since it was last found so I guess thats understandable.
I covered it all up with leaf litter and was 100m down the path congratulating myself on completing the series when I realised I had left my keys in amongst said leaf litter, so back I went.
my cacheing afternoons hardly ever go smoothly or without incident so this was just true to form.
thanks very much for the caches attached to this series I've found some places I didn't know were around my local area.

BUT could not find cache
Needed one more hint
Also phone died.
Got terribly cut coming out of bush.

So the best part of my day had been dedicated to finding the clues to find this cache. I had done a little bit of homework in preparation and with the clues now collated, I determined a set of co-ords. I'll admit I confirmed the numbers with a PAF before setting off. As suggested (who am I to argue) I parked at the posted co-ords. I sat in the park nearby and had a bite to eat before heading off after this final cache. I was running a bit late but there was a good reason I wanted this smiley and I was determined to get it.Being a warm day I powered off and had to navigate a couple of Y junctions, even got one of the choices wrong and had to backtrack. The GPS got me close so it was off track I went. I grabbed a pokey stick and set to work. It didn't take long to hear that wonderful plastic clunk. I opened it up and was chuffed to be putting my name in this logbook. With the deed done, I rehid as found and set off back towards the car at an excited jog. I much enjoyed this series and well worth my time to do it all. It ticked a box along the line to boot. TFTC Radnoski and Crew 153, a favourite point from me
Agap2, Herbz and myself headed off to this one. We bashed through the scrub and it was until we arrived that we notced there was an easier way in [:o)]
A quick find and then we spent some time enjoying the view before taking the easy way out!!

Oh, I do like these kinds of puzzles!!
So with the last of the series found and a puzzle solved, Ms Wig, Herbz and myself headed off to this one. We bashed through the scrub and it was until we arrived at GZ that we noticed a nice easy path

Thanks Radnoski and Crew 153, very glad to actually complete a series!! This was a very enjoyable series too, so will give this a FP!!

We had found the required caches ages ago but for some reason we had never found this final cache. Whenever we drove past we realised that we hadn't worked out the puzzle and then forgot when we got home so last night Mr. Herbz printed off the puzzle for me to solve. It didn't take too long and so the coordinates were keyed in and we set off this morning to finish the series. We took the short route to GZ where we discovered a convenient path nearby! After a short search the prize was in hand. We followed the path back until it turned the wrong way and bush bashed up a steep bank arriving back on the same path! Great series, TFTC.

I love mysteries, and once I knew there were cache dependancies before I could find this, I set my sights to complete the series, while up here on holidays.
I had solved the sudoku a few days ago, and couldn't work out the next step. So, I guess some caches are now in order. I started finding them over the last 3 days and as I took down each clue, the information started making sense. Now I understood
Today after finishing the rest of the caches, I had coords in hand and drove over to the posted coords. I made my walk along the nice track and soon came across GZ. Searched for a few seconds and made the find. YAY!!! I SL, TNLN and replaced.
Great mystery and related caches in this series. Thanx to radnoski for keeping it going and Crew153 for creatingthese. It took me took a few wonderful places in the Currumbin, Miami and Burleigh area. Loved it and a FAV point from me, TFTS.

Was all so very straightforward when I had my glasses on.
Dropped a geocoin to acknowledge the work done in setting up this Series and to hopefully bring others out to complete it. Thanks radnoski.

I had not read the description before setting out, so I took a slightly different approach to GZ. It all worked out OK, and may have been a shorter walk too
47th find of 69 found in during the week of my holidays on the Gold Coast.
Well, after collecting clues a couple days ago, and doing a nasty sudoku thingy that night - I needed a couple days to get tranquil again - today was the day to go collect it. This was one of three caches I needed for my D/T matrix that was the target for this holiday week. And I am pleased to say ALL DONE!
Had a lovely little walk up the path with a local muggle, chatting about bushland parks like this one around the Gold Coast (and NSW Central Coast as well). Lots of bird calls going on around us, and the hill soon quietened us a bit. At about the point I needed to stop we finished our chat, and I indicated a desire to just sit and enjoy the surrounds for a bit - while he kept on. We parted ways, he went out of sight while I found and signed my cache! Just lovely really. I also enjoyed the walk back down the hill too.
Thanks for placing this cache, Crew 153 (Adopted by Radnoski). Found in good condition.

I had the whole day free and the perfect opportunity to do my favourite game and to go for the goal of our 500th find by the end of the day. The target "Paradise Tranquility".
And here I AM!! YES YES YES!!!!
I have loved this whole series despite the minor set backs and difficulties with coords, I should have just concentrated first time round.
I have said it before but I just love walking through the bush especially if there is a track to follow.
I took the pleasant downhill stroll to GZ, spotted the likely location with tell tale caching signs and had the prize in hand within minutes.
AAAHHHH!!! The Tranquility!!!!! After Parkinson's Curse - An Odyssey for 100, A PC Odyssey for 200,
Hels Towers for 300 and Seventh Heaven for 400 it was lovely to be so Tranquil for our 500th.
Even though I was alone today I am claiming it as a joint caching family milestone.
Thanks Crew 153 & Radnoski It has been a real pleasure doing this. A favourite point is heading your way.

What a final on this series! Thanks for the series and all beautiful spots you showed us Radnoski! We will reward it with a favourite!
thanks to Aussie Liahona for getting us motivated to finish the series and for doing the sudoku-twice
I had started the series but must have given up when one or other of the caches was not available
so after a preliminary run on Friday to clear up remaining clues we planned the final assault for today
I had noticed Scribbly Gum was out of action during the week when i went to get the clue, but had been there earlier so I have done all in the series
Very great feeling of accomplishment as this is the first series I have finished and have also just placed my first series of caches this week (Law Week 2012).
Thanks to Crew153 and to radnoski for keeping it going this long.
