I went for a quick walk around the park this morning. This was my first visit and I see that the volunteers have done a lot of great work in here. Thanks for the cache just travelling.
My muggle wife and I headed up the range today from Brisbane to enjoy a weekend away with her cousin. We stopped at the bottom of range to pick up a trad to close out the alphabet challenge and then needed one on the lake for a month attribute challenge however that access was closed to the public. Parked the car and made my way to the cache found quickly, signed and returned safely for the next cacher.A big thanks to the cache owner for making this cache available to be found.Cheers
Oh boy was I ever happy to reach this cache. I had walked down from the top carpark, and my feet, ankles and knees were killing me. It is always a toss up as to which parts of my body I should protect. My lungs hate uphill and despite my poor condition when I arrived here, I have to admit I made the right choice. There's no way I could have finished uphill. It was also great to find a decent sized cache at the posted coordinates rather than 10 m away. And for that have an FP. TFTC Just Travelling SL
Hi just travelling I found your cache this morning on a lovely walk around the loop trail. The weather was perfect and the cache is my favourite container so a fav from me. Log signed and replaced as found. Thanks for the cache.
We are staying in Toowoomba for a few days. We qualify for the challenge cache a fare way up this trail. We are doing the good old traditional caches along the way, this being one of them . Gotcha.
I made my way from the Sunshine Coast to Toowoomba today for a spot of caching. This is, in reality, a slight understatement. I had already found seven caches on my way to Toowoomba, and I planned to find seven here, at Redwood Park, plus seven the next day. This was my first Redwood cache. I decided to head left from the highway trailhead. This was a quick and easy find. A cachers favourite container. The cache and contents were all in good condition. Thanks, just travelling, for the hide here. Now onto the next Redwood Park cache.
Found after doing a full loop of the Bridle and Redwood Forest trail. Didn't have a pen though. TFTC!
Back at Redwood Park for a leisurely hike to improve my fitness. Im also on a mission to Plug the Gaps in my Finds by Found Date calendar and this find helps there as well. First cache of the day. Always great finding one of these cache containers.TFTC. TNLN. SL. TB Prado Owl visited.Find # 1756.

Headed out in the geo-car for a few caches today with DW.
After doing the caches on Tabletop Mountain, and the event, it was time to head over to Redwood.
The day was getting long and I was starting to feel tired.
This one made for a quick find, thanks.

Pprime and I were out for some Wednesday Madness, albeit on a Monday. We had decided on Toowoomba being the location of today’s madness adventures, and were particularly interested in a few older caches.
Pprime already had this, but as it was in my list of Q1000 caches that I didn’t have, and we were heading past it anyway, we decided to stop in and make the short journey to GZ.
No sooner had we arrived than I looked over and saw the cache completely uncovered. I made my mark and then set about covering the cache properly from view. With Pprime’s approval of my work we made our way back to the car to begin the homeward journey. Today we went from Hell(hole) to H(e)aven. Not a bad journey all up!!
Thanks for the cache just travelling.

Wow, walked all the way from Bridge St down here, I think it is worth it but I don't know if I'll still have the same opinion on the way back up .

On holidays from Mackay with alphag_25. Caching as we go. Today decided to tackle the Redwood Park caches. 13 degrees to start and blowing a gale. Found this one easily enough. TFTC
Spent the day out caching with DeadroseJ66, we hit up most of Redwood park & a few at Highfields.

Out on a caching day with Kolour and chamad, we headed to Toowoomba with a focus on Redwood Park, with challenges and trads which can help with challenges, it was a great place to cache for the day.
Making our way along the trails we arrived at gz to make the find here. Took a lot of looking in what ended up being the wrong spot, we expanded the search. Looking 'over there' I found something of interest buried under some grass, an ammo tin! After signing the log we returned the cache and the grass covering.
Thanks just travelling for the cache.

I spent the day geocaching with Willis007 and Chamad in Redwood Park. Chamad had previously found this one but it wasn’t there so after a lot of digging around then spreading our search, Willis007 came up with the goods. We returned it to its original location. Tftc
Out caching for the day with Willis007 and Kolour, planning on hitting Redwood forest and the caches in there. Willis007 needed a couple of the challenges in there and I was just happy to go along for the ride / walk. It is such a diverse area and the environment changes so much as you walk around. after our walk we did a few along Prince Henry and then grabbed a few on the way home. It was a fun day with laughs and great conversations.
We headed off on the trails around the forest, I have 2 main tracks, a red line and a blue line. First up was the red line and this was a walking track for most parts. The caches were all found along this track and easy to find. We then started on the Blue trail and this was a very well groomed track. While I had found a few previously I was happy to walk around and find them again, plus a TB visit.
We signed the log and replaced the cache as found. Thanks for placing it here, very nicely done.

Was initially hunting on the wrong side of the track. Easy find once at gz TFTC
Decided to have a walk here today while over from Scotland. Picked up a tb and dropped off a tb I picked up in Ireland. Good to see a nice old cache. TFTC
I dropped a TB.
We plan to tackle the caches along the grass trail walk. First one done!

For too long we have have been threatening each other with a walk around Redwood Park. However, the excuses for not doing so have always been the same: it’s too hot, it’s too cold, I’m too sexy, that $3 wine from last night is dedicated headache material.
This weekend my wife and I were away for a long weekend in Toowoomba and decided to roll the dice against the weather. If it was raining when we arrived then we decided to head straight to the hotel and imbibe in things that aren’t adequately described in the Bible. If it wasn’t raining we would walk as far as we could and grab some caches. tftc

I'd planned to spend the day caching out west, but then at the last minute changed plans and ended up in Crows Nest... While in the Crows Nest National Park, I learnt that Brisbane was going into a snap three day lockdown at 6pm...
Some running calculations in my head, and I decided I could grab this oldie and a nearby animal (both of which work for crazy challenge caches) and still make it home before curfew...
I parked at the bottom carpark and powerwalked my way in... This nice sized container was a quick find with spot on co-ordinates... I didn't have a chance to read the log books as I noticed a dog walker approaching as I was making my mark... returned everything as found and powerwalked further into the park... thanks just travelling for this oldie

A lovely winters day in Toowoomba picking up a few targeted caches with geo friends before and after attending the Event.
This was the last cache to find in Redwood Park today and it was a nice quick find to finish off with.

We had parked our car on the top of the ridge today and walked many of the trails throughout the day before finding this one close to the bottom car park.
So lovely to find this oldie still active.
We have had our name to the log.
Thanks just travelling!

Out caching with the Tough Mothers (Bennyboppers and Lisylou). So beautiful in here. TFTC!
First trip of Redwood, has been on the list for a while, so thought we'd combine the hike with caching!

I'm on my way home from driving up to Mackay to do Christmas with my family. While I hadn't planned on it as it turned out I've managed to have a few days spare before I'm due back at work so decided to drive slowly home and cache along the way. None of these caches had been in my radar for Toowoomba however the lure if the nearby challenge caches got me.
So here I am trekking through some bushland on a hot January day.
Its great to see such a big cache in the bush as so often they are nanos or micros even when there is space for something much bigger. Tftc

Nice easy find. Kids took a green snake and the little marble maze game, left a nerf bullet (seemed fitting for an ammo box) and an ooshie.
Nice and quick find for our 6 year old, nice to find a regular size cache with some interesting swaps for the boys.
We replaced the ziplock for the older/full Logbook. Nice and dry. well maintained
Thanks for the Cache

A late night call to OBC and a plan was set to do some target caching on an assortment of caches in Toowoomba. An early morning start on a fresh, wet morning saw us leaving and heading west then a backseat surprise from mini obc was my wake up, lol. The targets were some oldies, some letterboxes, some for DT matrix, a FTF, a couple of puzzles and the odd trad as we stepped over it. It is always a fun day and an adventure when we get together and today was no different. We did have a little hiccup when we thought we were going to be stranded in Toowoomba and our caching day brought to a sudden stop. But a quick call to RACQ and a quick fix and we were soon on our way again. The list got shortened but then it got added to in other ways. A passing storm and wind gusts did see us having to abandon a few targets but we did make up for it on the way home. An awesome day with lots of laughs and some brave adventures.
With the storm hitting and the wind gusts nice and strong unfortunately we had to abandon a few other caches in the area. This cache was on my list as an oldie to find. A nice walk around the forest area to find this one easily.
All good with this cache, nice and dry and another cache ticked off, thank you for placing it here.

Chamad and I decided to head to Toowoomba from Brisbane, and pick up an assortment of caches along the way. Some caches were for the date published challenge, some for the 360 degree challenge, some for the DT matrix, some because they were oldies, and some because they are already fulfilled challenges. And some because, well, you never walk over a cache.
Somewhere in the middle of Toowoomba, my car broke down, and our plans were thrown into chaos. RACQ to the rescue, and we were back to caching, albeit an hour behind schedule. Our luck continued into the afternoon as a storm rolled over, the temperature dropped, drizzle gave way to heavy rain and wind, and our commitment to the greater cause was traded in for some warm food and the safety of the car.
Still, a fantastic day with great company, and I'd do it again in a heartbeat. This was a quick grab on the way home. Cache and log are in great condition.

Found today with hubby. I left a few Christmas decoration and a few toys. Enjoyed the hike with hubby. We were in conversation about religion as to make time pass. Sorry for late log, log this at home. Tftc
A bonus we hadn't actually intended to look for, but as we were walking straight past ...
A lovely big ammo tin, cool! It was barely covered so we put a few extra sticks on top. Pretty obvious where it would be, anyway!
Thank you for another nice find.
