I am awarding this cache a favourite point for its beautiful location and name significance Im here for my third year of volunteering with the Green Team, running Schoolies this weekend and of course any trip away from home would be incomplete without collecting as many caches as possible! Why green? Why not?! I hope I am allowed to write this here, but we serve because we have a heart to do so, working for and with Jesus our Father who first loved us. Being part of the green team has changed my life and I am grateful to take some time to sit here in this beautifully and wonderfully made place and reflect on the weekend just gone. It was a tough one for me personally but I know that I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.
Travelling with richlink on our Annual Caravan Geocaching road trip, using geocaching as our guide. Spending a few days in beautiful Port Elliot exploring the area and picking up a few caches. TFTC It's nice to find an oldie still in play. LNCU
Found at 3:25 PM GAFF1 in the company of The Morris.Don't know why it is green at all - no idea? But we found the cache and it was totally exposed! Thanks to Uni and Medusa
We have travelled from Portland Victoria to South Australia and today we met up with Pprass at Port Elliot where we will stay for at least 3 days. Down from Blakeview, SA and before that the USA. Here to celebrate the birthday of a mate and I thought I would make the trip to Horseshoe Bay and locate this catch. I saw my first Aussie snake (a brown one at that) while hiking down the trail. Signed the log and left 2 travel bugs.
Great HideThanks Uni and Medusa for the cacheJames0116Saturday, 14 Oct 20239:14:25 am ACDT3874

Hi there Uni and Medusa,
It looks like this cache might need some attention, as one or more seekers have indicated there is some sort of issue. The recent logs may contain more details about what sort of issues are evident.
The cache has been [**temporarily disabled**](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=235), so as to remove it from search listings and discourage people from visiting this location, until the issues/s can be addressed.
**You do need to respond in some way within 14 days,** so others know you are on top of it, as well as indicating exactly what is happening with this placement - please don't let a lack of communication scuttle this listing.
#What you need to do:-#
You have a number of choices so pick the one that applies from this handy list:-
- **Check On The Cache** - once checked, place an Owner Maintenance log and then enable the cache.
- **Place A Write Note Log** - indicating a date when you expect it will be restored.
- **Adopt Out or Archive** - depending on whether you want it kept or for it to disappear.
Full details for each of the above choices can be found at [**GEOCACHE MAINTENANCE**]( https://wiki.groundspeak.com/display/GEO/Victoria) on the Regional Policies page.
You might wonder what happens if you don't pick one of the above. Well, when the cache is next checked by a Reviewer, if the issue has not been addressed, or there is no acknowledgment as requested above, it will be assumed the cache has been abandoned.
It would be far better if you decide, so please do something before then. Please don't send an email but instead follow the information/advice posted above.
Thanks for your cooperation,

We headed to Port Elliot for a bit of a wander. We ended up finding a few caches on the way before celebrating with a paddle at the beach. This cache was one of the ones that we found. The little one spotted the hide and I made the retrieval. TFTC Team Unicycle
Found during another trip down from Victor Harbor to Port Elliot on a quest to make a significant dent on clearing up the caches in the area. A very scenic spot here much appreciated. Thanks for the cache Team Unicycle!

Arrived in Port Elliot for a few days.
We all really enjoyed this walk, turning back to the car after Green Bay.
Loved this secluded and deserted sandy cove.

Grabbing a few unfound caches around Port Elliott. The bay is a little smelly at the moment with the dead carp on the beaches from the recent floods in the Murray.
Many thanks for the hide Uni and Medusa

What a great hidden away beach. Easy find thanks bike riding so forgot a pen have taken photo if needed
Pretty spot which we enjoyed taking the anti geo dog to, she does not want to stop and look for caches, she is on a mission to walk as far as possible at the expense of geocaching, shame on her!
The photo shoot idea worked a treat for us today, gave us a bit of looking time while the people behind us moved along. After a bit of a search we did the sign and replace and headed off again. Glad we stuck to the paths too, we werent sure if we could go cross country but nope not for us.
Thanks Team Unicycle for the cache, been placed a while too, always nice to find an older one.
Found it, signed it and replaced safe and sound as found. TNLN

While the weather forecast was not exactly telling us to have stellar expectations, we still decided to venture South from the city in the hope of possibly seeing a whale or two today. Alas, no such luck, but we did capture this cache as a consolation prize, and as an additional reward we got soaked on our way back to the car TNLNSL TFTC
