Tee new structure is not really suitable for a hide so we will archive to stop it showing up on lists. WE will plan another one in the area.
We need to construct a new cache as the modified structure does not allow for a hide in the same manner as before. Stay tuned.
Checked this one out today and found the area is fenced off and a bridge is being replaced. Will disable until major works is finished.
Cool cache. Took us to a nice place today too! Amongst the heat, and then the massive change today. Thanks for the cache! Woyboys
We have been past here from the cycle track before but the neighbours were always out the back, metres from GZ. Had a really good look today, lucky the gloves were in the car, and eventually found it where it was not expected. Definitely a tricky little hide yet easily obtained when you knew where it was, another good Shifter Brains hide.
Poked around the bushes a little and couldn't find this one, got my hope up when we saw a flat wooden board underneath a tree, but couldn't come up with the goods. Plenty of spiders and spikey plants though...
finally,Im happy to say I found it!!
Thanks for the extra info on this one!!
I had previously looked here but didnt see it as i didnt think it could be 'stuck' where it was situated....
Tricky.
left 10cents as thats all i had that would fit in.not much but better than nothing i guess
Thanks again Shifter!!

Tried this one when we first started and couldnt find it then either...
Sounding by the other logs,it is there I just cant seem to get this one.
Spent a REALLY long time looking as Id finished work early for the day
and REALLY want to do this one.
some logs are confusing as it says its a magnetic keyholder but some people have put lots of things in it??
Lost my brand new sunglasses searching, got bitten by something?? and got started at by nearby neighbours for
looking very suspicious im sure.
I will not give up but think I need more help with this one.

Second time round found this, and can't work out why it was so easy this time when last time we searched and searched. Oh well found it and it's out of the way. Thanks for the find Shifter.

After looking around everywhere to find it still was unable to locate GZ. Ears were ringing as we drove off from the cicadas but no problems. Upsetting that the first cache of the day was a DNF.
We are currently in WA and will not be back home til mid October so we will disable until we get back to check it.
Didnt find this one... Little Leyn (Chooky1) complained of many scratches from bush. Clue could be taken in many different contexts, and did not have time to go through them all. Was hard, and time consuming. Will probably try next time we come up (: Can owner still comfirm if still there, as it has been a long time since found...
Unfortunately time was against us here and we have to log it as a DNF. We will be back to try again, but maybe it has moved as it hasn't been sighted for quite a while now.
Very sneaky hide, but I got lucky and put my hand on it in the first place I tried.

Found with Rediguana, Tofska and ADV on our caching holiday.
Catching up on caches that I missed when logging the trip.

Finally!! Third time lucky seems par for the course with this hide. SixStars was flat out finding this one, with the junior cacher providing cover.
This is a very sneaky hide particularly when the rain thats just been experienced has swollen the creek. It took us two cracks at this one the second time we had some higher powers on our side! Believe me it is there it's just hard to find!
Thanks for the cache Shifter Brains a pleasant walk across the nearby bridge and also nearby what looks like the worlds tallest Bubbler! Cheers (A tweek on the difficulty stars would not go astray)

Nuh, missed again! This time Six_Stars brought the junior seekers just in case younger eyes might help, but no luck.
At last, third time lucky. Helped out by a clue from The Four Cs so thank you!!!
Possibly the most frustrating cache I've ever tried to find! Coordinates take me to the same spot, but the search is always fruitless. One day......
Well 3yr old 'C' asked to go for a ride on his big bike, so I thought I'd take him down to the bike path and try to find this cache as well. Daddy 'C' decided to join us on his way home from work as well. With some idea of what we were looking for, it still evaded us. But then again, the neighbour kept coming out into his yard and looking at us suspiciously so we couldn't have a really good look. Oh well, anyway - as you can see by the photo my son still had heaps of fun!
Third trip back and brought geo-brother with us. Looked a bit closer at area we had checked out before and found it within minutes this time.
1st find of the day with richlink. An easy find. Thanks.

Given the clue it took only a few minutes to suss out where it might be. Nice spot, there was a dredging operation going on at the mouth of the creek with trucks and cranes. FTF for the new location

Thought we looked everywhere it oculd possibly be but no luck. Will try again soon.

Still working on the best way to replace so it is less likely to float away.
No luck with this one. If it was under the bridge I think it may have been washed away in the recent flooding.

Thanks Philma, we were discussing this cache only earlier this evening.

Found with Mrs Bent, Geopooch and the Boofheads. Found the cache quickly after Mrs Bent had the right idea. Nicely stocked cache - the Boof heads put some $ in and took a carabiner key ring.
Thanks for taking me back to a spot I have run past hundres of times.
Thanks for taking me back to a spot I have run past hundres of times.
I think every time we smell that odour from the cache site it will always remind us of the central coast.
It is an interesting spot and good to find the cache there ! Warning there is plenty of the muggles.
Thanks
Thanks
After a couple of DNF looks due to a misunderstood clue, worked it out. The cicadas were very noisy in what's proving to be one of those great cicada years. Saw a nankeen heron in the nearby creek. TNLN
8 of 10 from 13 today ( 3 dnfs)
nice litte area, secreted away, water very brown today.
but folks still fishing in it.

Found a car park remarkably close to GZ. A short walk got us to "X" but puzzled as to the precise whereabouts. Finally twigged as there weren't too many options. Took a horseshoe crab keyring (haven't seen an HSC since we were in Massachusetts 30 years ago as a postdoc), left a set of inflight earphones (unused).
12:00pm
A nice walk along a track we have ridden on a bike many years ago. A very smelly place with the stink pipe working overtime. Did not take too long to find. Signed the log, hid it back and off we went.

Found this one while Mrs Sound Mind was shopping. Thanks for taking me to another part of the area.
Found by Pickupfamily Dad at 1.15pm, our first find on holiday from Melbourne. I appreciated the clue as I'm not a big fan of this type of cache. tnln. tftc.

Yeah! Sure! This one will be harder!
So we told the bandit-in-law but again it was a quick find.
We must have had a rare muggle free period as heaps of them showed up as we were logging the cache.
It seems the bandit-in-law might really be a good luck charm after all!
Took: Stanley knife (This should not be left in a cache and will not be returned to one by me!..Naughty!) and limousine tool kit.
Left Castrol key ring and tazo.
For a final test for the Bandit-in-law, we took her to "Brokeneck" and after leading her to the general location, suggested she find the cache.
60 seconds flat! This lady is talented!
Thanks for the cache Shifters (now that I know you to be plural) but please guys...no more knives in caches! (Not suggesting for a moment it was left by the owners).

Wow! I'm impressed we finally found one that had low difficulty and terrain, these tend to be the ones we often have the most trouble finding. We were lucky that it was relatively muggle free, dragged my mother along and we have told her many stories of how hard we have searched on occasion for some caches. Earlier today we went to another cache and found it within seconds upon approaching ground zero. We kept reassuring my mother that it's not always that easy to find. This one took us about 1 more minute to find than the last cache.
We've decided that my mother can come caching anytime especially when we go to caches we have trouble finding.
Thanks for the cache, Shifters.

Rode this an hour before but did not even think about the GPS until we were one kilometre past it. We saw a poor old man who was turning 74 the next day fall off his bike. Anyway went back to find cache nice and easy find Thanks. TNLN
Was so excited about clocking up 250 caches (inc GCA) I thought I'd take the whole cache to commemorate . Actually as I grabbed the cache from it's hidey hole a cyclist came around the corner and caught me in the act so I thought I'd take it with me and replace it later. Judging by the look he gave me he probably thought I was a drug addict so I'd say we're in the clear. Luckily I saw Shifters later that arvo so I could let them know. Was funny to see the reaction as I produced the cache. Will return it within the week. Thanks Shifters.
Took cache left suspicious onlooker.

Temporarily removed for maintenance. Should be available again by the end of the week.
five times and I finally found it with the help of bubble n squeak visiting from Canberra.TNLN. Thanks
Found this one on my way back from Sydney and turned off the Freeway. Had a look for this cache before the first logged finder, but as the previous finders have stated the cache was a fair way off the target and I could not find it then. Looked the first time where I found it today but couldn't see it then.
My GPSr pointed very close to the actual cache location today - WEIRD.
This game can be bloody frustrating at times, but I think we create our own frustration most of the times, depending on our circumstances at the time.
Anyway TNLN
Thanks SB for the cache
The frustration is my creation, lol.
Also still not sure of the significance of the clue???

ok you smart people. Three times I have walked that river and I still cant find it.What am I doing wrong??? Have reread other loggers comments and off I go again for a fourth time
After dropping his sunnies into the creek, we finally had it. Left Ken's Head TB.
Thanks
Thanks
I was working in the area and noticed the cache come up on my GPS as I was driving thru - I had a bit of time up my sleeve so I went for it. Nice hide - recent rains had swollen the creek and the cache container had floated way beyond reach even laying on my stomach (Good stuff - laying on the damp ground in my business clothes!). With the aid of a long stick I manuvered the cache container into a reachable position.
TNLNSL.
Thanks for the cache shifter.

Like Liz and Bruce I made GZ a bit away from where the X actually was. In the end it was in the obvious place.

GZ seemed to be out in the middle of nowhere so we looked where we thought a cache would be hidden and had success. Took shackle and left car/screwdriver set. Also went for a longer walk around the area. Thanks Shifter Brains.
Know. To prevail!
Coordinates as good as, but still took some searching. Nice place to walk the dog as well and she served as a suitable ruse.
Thanks for the FTF prize. Left crab key ring and large carabineer key ring. Swapped out the bottle opener key ring - saw one of these at Tinnitus but didn't have a suitable swap - got one this time!
Thanks for another nice hide.
