As this cache has been out of action for too long and the cache owner has not responded or performed any maintenance, I'm archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. If you wish to repair/replace the cache sometime in the future, just contact us (by email), and assuming it meets the guidelines, we'll be happy to un-archive it.

I noticed this cache has a string of DNFs and that the CO has not responded to the [blue]Needs Maintenance[/blue] log. I have temporarily disabled this listing, to give the cache owner an opportunity to repair their cache in accordance to the cache maintenance guidelines. http://www.geocaching.com/about/guidelines.aspx#cachemaintenance
While I feel Geocaching.com can hold this location for a cache owner and block other caches from being placed nearby, it cannot be held forever. In other words… Use it or lose it.
Please either repair/replace this cache, or archive it (using the [blue]archive listing[/blue] link in the upper right) so that someone else can place a cache in the area, and geocachers can once again enjoy visiting this location.
If you plan on repairing or replacing this cache, please log a reviewer note on the cache page (not email) within the next 30 days to avoid the cache being archived due to non-communication.
Thanks for your cooperation.

[I)] Second attempt to find this log, but unable to locate it despite help of my Temuka Tramping Club friends. Will try again.
Quickly found after a nice walk and a break in this beautiful place.

I had cased out this spot for a cache walk my last 2 visits to the area but run out of time to carry out my mission - this time the meeting finished on time and it was a lovely sunny evening so straight to the area I headed once checked in! A quick park and grab as I headed out of the park. TFTC
nice and quick. On foot caching today. Aiming to reach 400. Thanks brother,if time wull drop in. Tftc
Yay! with the Moustachecashstash, slydog.007 and Jackie987, found with relative ease after waiting for passing muggles to pass.
Finally. Whew. I had this on the gps ages ago, back when it wasn't there. I knew the cache was redone, but had issues with my gps reloading it. Went to the park today for another cache (which had to be aborted for child safety) and decided to walk around, knowing I'd recognise the Man of the Trees if I spotted it. Which I did. And yes the cache was exactly where I had thought it would be. No gps, just instinct, haha. TFTC.
this man stayed at our house when I was a boy. Dad was a man of the trees. TFTC
What a great park, must visit again with the geo spud. Lovely weather for a walk in the park.

This cache is back in action again.
New Log Book, as original was gone when I retrieved the empty container.
Cache is slightly different position now, due to the area having had a gardening Make-Over recently.
Original contents - this time - -a Brand New Simpsons Collectable - Barney Gumble.
Also, a couple of TB's in there for interests sake.
Cheers

I took the long way (and back track), wife took direct route, easy find once there. Cache extremely wet, left small piece of paper outside of bag (all wet contents in bag)

Beautiful spot and somewhere we've never been. Quick find, I see there has been a 'needs maintenance' log already, so I'll just echo that it's quite wet. TFTC
Took a bit of finding GZ but eventually located the cache. Interesting plaque nearby TFTC.
Found it! Good hiding place! Took a bit to find, but got there in the end. Logged as needs maintenance as its very wet and in need of new stuff. TFTC.
Really should have been walking but was too bloated from Xmas lunch.
Well hidden!

A really nifty hide - shame the container was soaked...dried out as best we could, and provided new paper for a logbook...
Found, but was filled with water - everything wet. Emptied and returned to hiding place.
What a lovely spot. Signed log, then made a moccha and enjoyed the nearby park.
We spent too much time looking in the right spot. Dont know why we missed it for so long. TFTC
23/30. Quick find after parking and strolling. Dropped Lausers Blue Eye Travel Bug. TFTC.
This took me absolutely ages for a quick cache. But I did look there before - twice! very nice memorial. TFTC #2018
Found in the rain. As others have said container has hole and is no longer waterproof.
Hadn't read logs before find - the container needs replacing. The log book isn't going to make it through winter as it is.
This memorial garden is no longer fenced.
Found the cache, needs replaced as has a hole in its side.
Nice hiding spot.
