I think this one has can go - attempts to locate the TB have not been successful. So long and thanks for all the finds
We will probably archive this one - maybe someone else can use the spot when the works are finished.
On another Geo mission in the area this morning we called in on this old friend and were disappointed to find that it has indeed gone missing!
Some serious road works are in progress and it appears the recent wet weather has put this on hold but considerable chainsaw work has been carried out resulting in the demise of the "container niche", and including the original hidey hole!
We feel we did find the niche further down the creek bank within some of the decimated timber but alas no container to be seen within or nearby.
We were hoping to see if the contents were still warm!
Cheers,
Max & Roma.

Alas, a DNF at this location for me. A 150m walk frmo the road block (due to wet mud and stuff) ahead, but at GZ I couldn't spot anything that would hide a cache. There was lots of dirt piled up at the edge and a load of felled and cut trees, so there was a lot to search, but I just couldn't find any spot that matched the 1.5 terrain. Ahhh, well, you can't win them all and it was a nice stroll through the oaks.
After reading some logs coopzz come up with the goods within 15min nice geo container not to many people visit this geo very nice spot first geo for the night
D.N.F. This is our first DNF and I was very disappointed as we had gone out over two days with no luck but when I read though the other logs I noticed quiet a few dont find it. I think I will need to find some help with this one when I try again.
Found on the way back from a 2 day Bendigo cache blitz with my mate Blacklegend17 (Marshy). Great spot with the Autumn leaves changing color. Nice quick find where I could stretch the legs. TFTC.
Found with my mate Marty, Quasar3671... Swung south of Bendigo to do a few more to finish the trip off. Cheers.
I never realised that Harcourt wass so interesting...I only knew that apples come from Harcourt...Excellent cache container....I'm happy that I was on the correct angle to find this was quickly...Big trees for only 110 year olds...Did no swaps..TFTC.
Spent a frustrating half hour searching around this area. Not sure if the flood waters in the past couple of days have made this hide extra difficult or if we just had cache blindness... This hint didn't even shed any light on things for us. I hate DNF's!!!
Collected some nice pine cones for a little mate who loves to chew on them, so it wasn't a complete loss.

1215. Geocaching is like orienteering in that it surprises in familiar places. I couldn't count how many times we have driven or ridden past the road in, or orienteered on the hillside above (Leanganook aka Mt Alexander) and never knew of this lovely and interesting location
Friend Mary was with myself and A+ and while resting from the search, spotted the container. We replaced the torn ziplock bag although I doubt that container will ever let water in. Wish there were some apples trees amongst the oaks.
Nice hide The Morris. Thanks very much.

TFTC. Took nothing but dropped of the "Cheesey Pigs" geo-coin # 9306108 from "Between Two Bridges" here. This coin doesn't seem to be activated as yet so I know not where or who it is from or where it may wish to go. I will hunt around for some info from pathtags.com and try to get it activated.

Searched for a very long time with absolutely no success. Cache blindness? Quite possibly. I will be having another crack at this one in the near future!
Found this on second attempt, well Hanseeka husband did which enabled me to sign the log! I liked your container and it's hiding place was a little tricky. I love the area Hanseeka and I used to come here for a picnic, then he'd have a rock climb up higher, I well remember him 4wding up that hill and not being able to get to the top then the drama of coming back down! he then approached it from the other side. So maybe thanks for the memories...

2nd attempt at this one, we thaught it might have gone missing but after a recent find we returned only to find the treasue, remeber comming here when i was little and looking for the little wooden roses and acorns. Nice place, sounds like it could be haunted judging from a few of the earlier logs.

Yes found on our second visit.
On the 'many' occassions I return to search for previously unfound hides,
I often think, 'I thought I looked there or why didn't I look there before'.
Same this time. Very good hide.

Found at 12:30 on our way home from Bendigo. Very tricky hide. Had almost given up when I spotted it. TNLN. Thanks.
I knew I had the right spot but I just couldn't find it. Searched everywhere and under everything. When I did find it I felt like a right dill. It was in its hide but sticking out, sitting there for the world to see.
There was meant to be a TB in here but unless I suddnely got TB blindness I couldn't see it.
Put the cache back along with some new camo.
Thanks The Morris for another fascinating location. I had no idea that this plantation was here.

A bit lucky with this one. The GPS was giving me the run-around all day. It was hopeless. I was close to giving up, despite the fact that I knew the cache must be nearby, when I chanced to notice something not quite right and, sure enough, salvation was at hand. I have been here numerous times over the years. There are a set of cliffs I used to climb on further up and, when the tracks were too wet to drive up on, we used to park around here and walk. It all seems a lot more overgrown now than it used to be. Nice little hide in the end. No swaps made. Many thanks for the chance to visit again.

We found our 27th Morris cache at 7:50pm as the final of 24 on Day 3 of our "Where'd Bendy Go?" long weekend. We found a Morris cache as both the first and last cache of the day.
This was one of the weirdest experiences ever at a cache.
It was now dusk and I wanted just one more cache. I had bypassed a couple of other longer multis and headed for the nearest traditional on the way home which was this one. We first took the wrong track above the wood. We back tracked and found the correct track down, which was rutted and narrow and really at the limit for the Magna. We stopped short of the ford at the bottom but this was ok as it was only 30 odd metres from the cache. As we got to the cache there was yelling from the wood. Much yelling. It sounded close but at this time of night it could have been anywhere from about 80m to 200m away. Thankfully, this was not only the only cache we had seen for the whole weekend that dared to have a hint but also an exrtremely welcome cache marker and I had the cache in hand. But the yelling. It sounded a cross between extreme pleasure and extreme pain but it was extremely loud and very un-nerving. I got the log book out as quick as I could and swaps were going everywhere. I logged and got the whole this back together and into the hide in a flash. And the yelling went on. I couldn't help by now to start thinking about some of those horror films. A ghostly wood. The Blair Witch Project. We got back to the car quickly and although 8 y.o. "A" was oblivious to the whole scene, "H" and I were not and we having the same thoughts. We wanted out of there as quick as possible. That deathly sickly yelling continued and the daylight was fading quickly. Problem. The car is facing forward on this damn narrow track and I am neither able to turn the car around nor am I anything like wanting to go forward through the ford to a spot just inside the forest where I could turn around but that would be within metres of these horrid yells and the sound of the car so close might alert them to our presence. So I had to reverse. Reverse slowly up this damn narrow rutty track for about 300 metres. Each metre taking us further and further away but it was taking so long and it felt like that scene on Alien where the person is walking slowly up the corridor and lust as you think that they are safe, something ghastly jumps out at the last minute. We reached the end of the road and we were safe, We hightailed it out of there. What were those mystery screams that eminated from the wood. We don't know. And I am not keen to personally find out,
Thanks for the cache from D, H & A B-A.

Didn't quite make it all the way to GZ in the car as it has a very low ground clearance. Near enough though.

Nice container.

Took a little while to spot this one with the signal a bit erratic as predicted. The clue helped a bit and we soon had the cache in hand. Another nice little spot I'd probably never have visted in any other circumstances. Bit of drama on the way in with the police in attendance at a car crash. Car very bent! Tree OK! Occupants unknown! Not us BTW!
Thanks indeed.

What a great cache. Master Boyd located it, he stopped and observed the area carefully and then excitedly led the way.
Sadly Winnie the Pooh could not be left in the 110 Acre Wood, as he didn't fit, so we left a shark bottle key ring instead. A small torch was taken.
Master Ryan was exctied by the name. His Eeyore made a visit also. Thanks for a fantanstic spot and an exciting drive in.

Off on a bushwalk with a close friend, we happened to park right next to this one. I searched while she prepared but for a while I came up empty handed. I was quite surprised at the passing traffic here - its obviously a popular spot. Just as I was parking, an older couple walked past. A minute or two later, another couple of muggles walked past. While I was logging my find, the four muggles drove past, and then shortly afterwards, another car drove past. What's going on?
It was getting close to dusk, and my time was short, so I didn't have a look around, but it looks an absolutely fantastic area. Thanks for the cache, and for showing me this place.

On the way to Melbourne from Bendigo we decided to do this cache. Luckily we drove straight past "Henry of Harcourt" - a local cider maker that produces some excellent ciders. If you're around the area and would like to try some of the local drop I can definitely recommend the stuff. He's just around the corner on Resevoir Road.

A very pleasant spot for a cache.
Batteries had just died on arrival at GZ, while swapping them out, I caught a glimpse of what I suspected to be a great hiding spot.

Arguably not a real DNF as Pickupfamily Dad would have searched longer except I had to be back in Heathcote by 1600hrs. After having found Monumental Delight, hoped this could be nabbed quickly but had no luck in a 20 min search. I hope I wasn't parked on top of it as GPS showed 9m to GZ from the car. Having been on a high after finding monumental delight quite quickly we hit this one ready for what we thought would be another easy find but we were wrong. Tenth cache of twenty nine for the day, found at 14:45 in the company of Dak Emu. 'If you go down to the woods today you’re in for a big surprise’ I failed to find pooh bear but I did find the cache. The gps had us at the pine tree and with all the talk off new concepts I began to think that this could be like a Sui_001 cache where you had to climb the tree, but something in Biggles Bears log gave it away and I spotted the cache in its hiding spot. We had trouble removing the lid of the container and had to use a nearby rock to assist us. Like the nearby quarry I guess this was another piece of history started and then left. Thank to The Morris for showing this location.
Eighth of twenty finds in company with acts2youthgroup on our Back to Bendigo Again day. This one had us stymied for some time. We looked in the normal places, to no avail. (We should have been thinking "Bendigo cache", but we weren't in the right frame of mind yet. ) We read the logs, and Biggles Bear's log gave us a hint, and A2YG spied it at 1445. This was to be the first of a string of cleverly hidden caches in the Bendigo area. I would put the difficulty level up a star or two. Thanks to The Morris for the cache.

We hadn't realised that we had oak plantations in Australia until we read your cache description. Diane almost expected to see Winnie the pooh and Tigger emerging from the wood. This was the luckiest cache we did today as it took under a minute from taking the GPSr out of the car to locate the cache. We must have just approached from the right angle for this well hidden cache to fall into our hands quite so easily, we got quite a surprise to see the size of the container when it was completely removed from it's hidey hole

Thanks for the great concept, the fun (mystery) and exercise - even though I was unsuccessful at the time.
May I make a suggestion:
1. When very close to or at GPS Zero, could the map please have some sort of extra clue? The aim would be mainly to encourage (and reward) the seeker's efforts. It was so disappointing to fail at the last hurdle. On a hot day, over an hour of searching an area with a radius of 13 metres is no easy time.
The evolution of this concept is indeed exciting! Many Thanks again.

Competing now with the PPrass team, it was a challenge but luckily we found this one just ahead of them. While logging the cache all three GPSR said the cahe was still 13 metres away.
TNLNSL - BTW the zip on the pencil case is broken.

The GPS favoured me for a change, walked straight up to this one.
This area was originally bordered by a pine plantation.
Unfortunately, to make a quick buck, the pines were razed, and the ambience of the area destroyed.
Took: Mondo Oz
Left: Fish (and a pen)
Thanks The Morris.

Found by Mary & David at 1645. Took a while as the satellites were quite temperamental in the wood. We got to hug lots of trees. A very sneaky hiding spot. Took 3-D bookmark, left Australian key ring. Our thanks again to The Morris.

Found by Roma and Max.
What a lovely peaceful place amongst the oak trees and what a sneaky hiding spot for the container.
We took a Crocodile Clicker and FTF card and left a small Mondo Figurine.
Thanks again The Morris.
