We have been sitting on this one for a while, awaiting a spare weekend, to implement a planned replacement. Alas that weekend has not materialised yet, but it is time to put this one to bed as we have received the dreaded reviewer’s chase-up note.
We do hope to get a new, interesting hide in place here soon, watch this space, unless someone beats us to it!

Did not check first to see that it was disabled as was on my GPS already. but guessed that it had or should be when i got to the spot. looked like the whole area had been raked clear.
Went to the spot twice this weekend and hunted high and low. cache wasnt there.
Two experienced caching teams are unable to locate this one. Will check it later.
Meantime, disabled to indicate to other cachers that it is unlikely to be there.

Thanks for showing us another hidden park.

Lovely spot for a walk. found it quickly also lots of fresh mushrooms which I gathered up. Picked up the travel bug and put in a small bus. Will help the bug on it's journey.
Dogs loved the new location (for us) and to be able to run free was even better. In Slice of Kiwi TB / Out The Key to Rotoroa
Nice cache, good walk and easy find in the end. Noticed another geocacher there too I believe.. hppo?
Would've introduced myself but my kids have a fear of dogs.

Cache has been replaced. Many thanks to the Geocooleys for the help while we were away.
Found the cache scattered over the GZ with no log book to be found.
Knowing where the Butterfly Lady rests her wings at night, dropped remains in her letterbox for a "restful" burial. TFT1/2C

Appears this cache has been trampled. Will consider replacement, or maybe a new one nearby. Thanks for the heads up, Southern Augers on this wee problem.
GPS was misbehaving but shellz, who was disgusted at the vandalism of some of the trees, decided to remove some firewood from the base of one. Funny, it was gz! in - shellz shell, out - jeep. TFTC
Yahoo my 100th find! - just on way back from a couple caches from up Mt Pirongia one part of Zorgons challange, easy find with small amount of brain power required after your last little ripper I found! once again Cheers Muzy Man!

#8 We walked through the field which was muddy and water logged as it was raining! Followed the GPS to the cache - a nice and easy find . Headed back a different way, much easier and we wished that we had used it the first time. TFTC!
We used to spend hours in this park when we lived in Sunnyhills. Thanks for the memories Butterfly_lady.

Another nice park I didn't know about - and to think I grew up nearby on Ohaupo Road! The early line of trees almost had me fooled until I realised that there was more to be found yet! Thanks for showing me this place BL.
Great spot even in the rain, one muggle, the only one of the day, well it was raining!! [8d]
Went for a night time stroll through the park with a pocketful of lumens. Nice walk, and the cache was very quickly found. Looks nice at night. Cheers Gav [2072]
Took a longish way through the park to get to this one.
Looked like a nice park from what we could see in the dark.

XC parked up splat and we toddled off into this lovely grove. The cache was exposed. Covered up after signing the log.

All aboard the greatest caching machine.. Suzuki SV650 (Splat!) with TechnoKitten riding shotgun. I suggested an anniversary day raid on Hamilton to see how many we can get. Came here for #8 of 20 for the day. We were still sparking on all cylinders as we parked splat and walked into this park. I love gum trees.. This is a lovely grove. Cache was uncovered and easy to find. Enjoyed the quiet while we signed log and replaced with more concealment.
Thanks for showing us this spot.

After 2 days of working through Resthills Ramble (GCYVG1), this was a nice stroll across the park and a quick easy find.
Nice quiet spot compared to the otherside of the park which was playing host to a softball tournament.

This was the ninth of our ten attempts that day. The first five were great, but having missed two of the last three, we were losing confidence.
We needn't have been. This was a great little easy find, as a breather in the five-stage multi Resthills Ramble.
Beware ants and large spiders, but admire the site.

A nice easy find in a nice spot - did this when I spotted it on the GPS screen while doing another close by - also very popular with the local ants

Found with BFR was the 20th find for the day.

#243 Easy find, we was O Weary, after rambling relentlessly all over Resthill Park, for it’s namesake cache. This one was a consolation prize, as we were unable to complete the Resthill final today, because of underage drinking muggles stationed in front of GZ.

4.10pm. Nice easy walk with Isaac and Vanessa after Christmas Dinner. Vanessa found it. TNLN Thank you David & Noeline
Cold and wet and coming from the wrong side of the park made it a little soggy. Put in playing card and took Goofy and his parachute
nice easy find as the GPSr was accurate to 0.35m which made for speed! Had to explain to the poor old fella walking his dog what I was up to, thought it better to just tell him, he mentioned something about 21st century treasure hunting back in my day son............

7:40 pm 26th find
I soon found my way from Geocoin madness to this site and walked in.
I saw the low lying ground and thought here comes some more wet feet but it was Ok if you kept you eyes out. I spotted a slightly unnatural position of some cover material from several metres away and sure enough, there it was.

As I approached the cache area, I suddenly felt really comfortable. I didn't realise why for a while, then it hit me. The gum trees! I found the cache fairly quickly and had to leave, a little homesick.
There must be something about Hamilton, the GPS is working well today, better than it ever has!! Another quick find.... although we got caught by a dog as we were scrabbling around in the trees, he looked pleased that he had found us....Trouble was we weren't lost!
TNLN. Thanks.
A lovely park, with the smell of fresh mowen grass, mmmm Summer!

Dropped in for a TB swap. Goofy needed a rest here, and the NZ Snake needs to go slither closer to his goal in the South Island
A little walk we did partake
To shake the mud from Cameron Lake.
A dry out for myself and chum
A quick find round a towering gum.
Thanks NINO

I saw the previous log and as I live nearby I picked up the cache and took it home, dried it out then repacked it and replaced it so it can go live again
found while cycling in area. contents was wet, so put into a bag. -dinosaur rubber, +cat and bell. Thanks.
I have disabled this one temporarily, and hope to visit soon. Will fix the water problem, probably by replacing with a better container, and will check site for puddling etc. May be able to channel water away from hidey hole. Thanks Nudge, for your efforts, as I have been less mobile recently.
Found easily. Cache wet inside and is in a wet location as a puddle forms after heavy rain. Clue 1 a bit misleading.
Found with LS. Thought clue was a bit misleading, looked like it had already reached that goal.

A quick visit this afternoon. Cache a little damp, mainly condensation. Dried out. Dropped in TB Texas
Dropped off $500 TB, needs to relax in this quiet park for a while before heading off on a tour of New Zealand.
