Enjoyed the walk. The Co-ordinates were spot on. Original logbook is damp, but replacement log sheet is ok. TFTC.
Found by D and R and a whole host of others for my sisters birthday in the park.

Finally got back to complete this one. Could not previously complete as UTM co-ords were missing. TFTC vwnuts.
No muggles around this time and was able to grab it straight away. The log book is unusable but the temp log is good. TFTC!
Found with Mini Ogre.
Pa Ogre got this one after a bit of searching around and a few bad word about not being able to change his GPS over.
Cache all good.
We will get the rest of these one day.

Found it, being Saturday morning and lots of families walking to nearby park it was difficult to access. Thanks
Grabbed on a warm afternoon. As with many after the rains log saturated and cache wet inside. Wiped out cache and added a new bag with a page from our book as a temporary log for others who might find it. TFTC

Found after some orienteering in this park.
Log is saturated and virtually unsignable.
Water, presumably from recent flooding has got into the cache.
Sorry, we had no replacements, so cache requires maintenance.

Found it in company of Ghostgums, SVN07, Gunnie69 and JackyLegs as we headed out on a cache hunt today,
Cache in pretty goof nick although a log was little damp
As we approached we wondered if it would still be there judging by the high water marks but a secure location meant allw as well
TNLNSL
Thanks vwnuts for the cache

Found this one while in the neighbourhood. Those UTM co-ordinates still bugger some of us up, as we try to remember how to do it. It was always easier to do on my Garmin GPS72, but these new fangles types....
Log book was wet, possibly due to the area going under water at some stage. Could just write our names in the books.
Found with Kaisho53 and JackyLegs and under the watchful eye of SVN07 and Gunnie69.
Thanks for the Cache Mr Nuts!

Another M2M cache that has been on my to do list for a long time.
This was a bit of a tricky hide, and took me a while.... could here footsteps, but they were none the wiser, however when I emerged from there,
the young lady that saw me started to walk more briskly.... guess it would have looked strange.
Thanks vwnuts

This was cache # 4 of 14 for the day, on what turned out to be a rather sunny day out caching. another one in the series done, I enjoyed visiting this park. My thanks to vwnuts for the cache.
The troll was pre-occupied while locating the cache. Clever hiding spot. No writing stick included. TFTC
Another couple of MTMs ticked off the list today. Found before jim uzi as I saw the TB OHRA card TB that they took. Plenty of muggles out and about today. Lovely day for a s-troll.

I like these caches, and I really was a troll as muggles were walking overhead while I signed the book.
Well, sent 2 kids chasing around GZ, but still had to get in and look myself. Meh - low attention span - they still love the chase. Nice walk in the park - TFTC!
This was a tricksey one! Made all the more challenging by the fact that we were digging around in the dark Nevertheless, we managed to find it after almost giving it up. TFTC!
A tricky little hide. The obvious spot failed us, so we resorted to the hint. Even so, by night and with so many choices, we were getting nowhere, despite this style of hide being one of Palopinto's specialties. We'd just checked ourselves over for spiders and prepared to leave when I decided to give it one more shot. (I _hate_ DNFs.) Checked again and found an option I hadn't previously noticed, and there was the cache. Took more effort that I'd expected to get it out. Cache found in good condition, log signed, replaced and we were on our way to the next in the series. TFTC as always, vwnuts!
Got this one on the rounds today. Well and truly hidden. In good condition. TFTC
WOW Nice Park and Heaps of kids on play ground and Keep eye on them before get it... hide well....
I thought I would tackle this multi while in the area. Found the co-ords a-okay and off I set. Getting to GZ was okay - but the hunt took an embarassingly long time. Freaked out a few muggles - but managed to settle them down by greeting them friendly-like. Found the beast and returned it to its home. TFTC vwnuts
Nice find except for the wack on the head in the process! Oops. TFTC TNLN log was a bit damp.
GPS led us straight to the cache and La Kedi fought the spider webs to retrieve it. TFTC
Nice wander through the park today, dodging walkers and skateboarders and scooter-ers. Dodged the spider webs to snaffle the cache successfully, but didn't see the TB in there. TFTC! ='.'=
Were looking here last time and have NO idea how we could have missed it - doh! Log was a bit damp so added a ziplock baggie. Thanks for replacing WP1 and re-enabling this cache vwnuts. No sign of the other trackable
390 - Found this one in good condition at 2:56pm. There was a guy with his dog in the creek but he moved on after a few mins so we grabbed the cache. TFTC and the series vwnuts.
Pretty sure I was in the right place; even before reading the clue confirmed it, lots of hiding possies but to no avail today - may need to return with GeoSon for a look for "baby lizards", looks like there's been a fair bit of water through the creek and the recent rain has made everything sprout madly.
Wanderred down to this one with Svn07, after doing the Kidspace virtual. Nice to actually see some decent water running through the creeks now after the recent rains. At GZ, the hidey hole was spotted and cache retrieved... So, we not only found where it should have been, but found the cache within a minute of arrival...
I wonder how can you log a "found" without actually finding the container... Hmm... [?]
Great little spot to sit and watch the now running water...
Cheers VWNuts.

The only war this morning was among the crows. Sheesh....they breed 'em big on the Dark Side. And that infernal noise....would drown out a bomb!
The last hunt for 2009....found with Gunnie69.
Thanks for the cache vwnuts. Cheers, svn07

Craig spotted this one while I was checking out other options. Lovely cool spot with the pleasant burbling of the creek.
No coords on back of sign as others have mentioned. Using the clue, searched at the most logical spot but there has been a LOT of water through there lately and ended up with a DNF (if we were even looking in the right area...). Any chance of someone checking on this or posting the actual coords somewhere??
Co-ords are missing from the sign so I'll apply a bit of logic next time I'm there and see what I get.
So many rocks! I used your hide logic to get this one.
I have converted a couple of English local muggles who chatted with me for a while about this addiction. They were quite impressed as they have been to Jordan, England and many other places inbetween.
Hopefully they will join the crew and begin a new life journey.
Best wishes to them.
Cheers for the series (I have a couple left to go!)

Almost 11 months since I had a DNF at this one. I think the problem was the daylight. Took me all of 2 minutes this time in the dark with a torch. Hmmm, you sure it was "there" last time? Well, as has been said by others: "I hate 'em in rocks". TN/LN/SL and went home on a positive.
Searched around for about 15mins.
So many rocks and things...
No luck today sadly though. Will bring reinforcements tomorrow.

Found as we were doing a nice afternoon walk through the area. Cache was pretty wet so we took it for the night to dry it out. All good when we put it back the next day. Also re-found the kids space play ground. Took the kids there a few years back when we were last down.

We found the sign and the clue on the back. The sign has been tagged by spray-painters and isn't looking the best. However, the coords on the back are untouched. Now if only I could figure out how to change my GPS over to UTM we might be able to find the cache.
Lots of rocks but found eventually. Second of three in this park. TFTC

Found the cache at 11am. Lovely park. Search for while. SL. Thanks vwnuts for organising the cache and hunt.
The young water dragon was not perterbed by our presence today as we searched for the cache which was easily located. As the TB listed in the inventory was placed in the cache in 2006, perhaps it should be marked as MIA. TFTC vwnuts
Got it!
After failing yesterday we took more notice of the hint and it was where we expected it.
We initially overlooked it so we spent a lot of time scrambling around the area. We even tried right over the other side where we confronted a whip snake.
Just before giving up again we went back to our best guess and Cyndi found it.
There was no travel bug or anything else in it. We left a crocheted hair ornament.

We'll try again.
Haven't got a GPS yet so tried by pace and compass from the sign using the difference in coordinates. From the references too a troll in other's logs suspect we were a few metres too far east.

Attempt number 3. Searched high and low again and was almost ready to sign up for the guided tour when I looked in the almost too obvious spot. TFTC
Trying to entertain the kids during school holidays we headed off on a ride to Kidspace stopping to grab this cache on the way. Popped a magic geocoin in. It worked for me!

On the way to KidSpace from Chermside, we stopped off here. The sign is currently fenced off as they are re-doing the bike path but we took an educated guess, I'll have to come back and read it another day! Edward Eagle TB is not in there but I took 10 euro cent... TFTC
I tried to find this one a long time ago and could not. I had another go today and found it reasonably easily after a short search. I didn't spy the TB in there but I dropped in another one - TFTC.
In: TB.

Another find in the "Mountains to Mangroves" series. This one broke with the traditional cache placement for the series, but was a relatively quick find. It was in the second place I looked!
Thanks again VWnuts

Retrieved the container lid, but that was the cache container that went missing. New cache container is still in place.
Thanks
Thanks
Not sure if this is a Find or needs maintenance. Found a round sistema lid with a geocaching logo attached to it but nothing else. Please check. Thanks for the hunt.
I really liked these multis, good fun, found the final with no major drama .... no "quick easy find " on this one
Thanks, took a photo.
Thanks, took a photo.
Interesting history, Good thing TheWonderstuff knew how to do the black magic stuff on the GPSr.
Thanks for the fun.
Thanks for the fun.
This was a pleasant walk through the park to locate the appropriate sign. The cache was found after looking in a few likely areas. SL TFTC
I'm totally with totalube on this one. It took 4 return visits and a plea to the owner to find. And it was in a logical spot too!!! Not a problem though because we love coming to this park. Geosons brought their roller blades for the first time and had a ball. Trolls weren't around today. But there was a beautiful egret very interested in what we were doing. TFTC. TNLNSL.
Gradually working my way through this series. Another early find on a brisk morning. TFTC
This is about my forth visit to try and find this one. It was dark and I needed my torch, as of course as this was the only time I had been here at night, I found it in about 30secs, I don't know why I didn't look there before.
Thanks for another great M2M cache.

Found at 0910 with Friend Margret quickly found scrambling over wet rock after a very wet day.
Those Trolls can cause Gremlins in the system sometimes, but not this time. Found within 5 metres of my GZ after a goog hunt and a small altercation with the Troll.
SL. Thanks vwnuts for the cache and some more local history revealed, and paths to log into the mental network.

A Bit scared to go in in case the troll ate the ol nanny goat (Mrs Stinky)hehe.. Lucky we bumped into Pseudogeek and the geokids (HI) and were brave enough to go in.. After alot of rock hopping and dodging the troll cache was soon hand....TNLN thanks for a great series..
Found this thanks to the efforts of Stinky Bill (by the way, guys, we couldn't find the cache at the next bridge so we left disappointed...). There were kids and adults all over the place looking in all nooks and crannies only to find the cache was in a logical place. Good to see some fellow cachers en route. Unfortunately there was no TB in the cache as indicated in other logs.

Pseudo-Geek.

I found the sign & the new co-ords easily enough but the troll was nowhere in site and neither was the cache. If this is meant to be in the bridge structure it is well hidden. If it is in the rocks then maybe it is still there.
Aah. Not again. That's 3 DNFs in a row. The trolls were not at all helpful. Oh. Sorry. They were my boys. Well they couldn't spot the cache either.
Easy to get the coords from the sign but I may have had difficulty with the UTM in my GPS. It made sense where I was but couldn't find the cache. After finding another VW Nuts "Crreks for Fun" nearby & noting where the GPS was telling me was different to where I found the cache I may have been out slightly with UTM in my GPS. Will ork it out and come back for this one now I have the UTM coords.
Enjoyed the stroll around the park. Initially missed the cache. But found on 2nd try. TFTC.
No luck with this, maybe the Troll took it. I would have liked to search some more, but the rain had gone and there were muggles a plenty
Nice quick find, which I was grateful for as the rain was really starting to come down. TFTH
DNF @ ~2:45pm
Walking to "Bug Tales" I noticed the mountains to mangrove sign. Hmm.. isn't there a cache by that name? Funny, I didn't have a way point for it but... oh, it's a multi so the final co-ords are supplied. Woot. No luck finding the cache though. When I got home and discovered it was marked unavailable all became clear. Oooh... and re-enabled later that same day. Cruel. Next time... cheers vwnuts.

Was this cache a round container? I found one where the cache should have been.
Was in the area, so thought I would see if this was still around, and it was (in the same state as last found, just lid, wristband, ruler and keyring). Will come back and "find" it when all is well.
This is the 2nd in our personal series of 'hunt a geocache during the cross country races' for the year.
Last week (Terilba Park) the course went about 10 m from the cache - this week the course went pretty well right over the GZ point - we'll have to come back when this is fixed to follow up though.

I haven't officially found this one yet. But I went back today to have a bit of a look and soon discovered a lone round sistema lid with a geocaching sticker on it. On further investigation, I uncovered a keyring, a wristband, a plactic bendy ruler and the log book. Obviously the cache has been muggled. I have salvaged the log book.
