It has indeed gone missing and as the area is revolting, overgrown and swampy we won't replace it. Thanks to all the finders and I hope whoever ended up with the container enjoys all the trains.
Had two goes at this. One by ourselves, then again with a previous finder. We're pretty sure it's a goner.
Doh!
I believe this may have been muggled, 2nd time I've been in a few weeks. No Bees to be found, Confirmed with snowy that it's not where it was..
I'd say the councils cleaned the bees and the Cache.

Searched high & low & found the beehive but couldn't find the cache. Didn't know what we were supposed to be looking for as the description did not make it clear. Might have to leave it for another time when visiting from Melbourne.
Did this one after gym little geo come up with the goods this was our second go at this one
Nice one with a playground for the kids. Left little indy geoman, goodluck with your travels!

Found with my mate Blacklegend17 (Marshy) during our 2 day Bendigo cache blitz. After crawling into our hotel beds at 6:00am we were on the road again by 10:30am. 1st daylight find for the day with a Beehive nearby which was a bit concerning but a quick grab and sign and we were on our way. TFTC.
1st cache on the second day of our caching run to Bendigo with my good mate Marty (Quasar3671). 32nd for the trip so far. Found with a bee hive nearby, but got it pretty quickly. Thanks for the hide.
could not locate this one, the GPS was jumping around everywhere but i am sure we were in the general right spot.
A quick dash up here as we had 30 minutes to wait for the tram tour to start. Easy find once we had cleared the beees..
Arrived at GZ and spied the bees, nearly headed off until I realised I didn't have to look there. TFTC.
Suscoe arrived at this Cache in the rain.
A nice hide and I enjoyed the sound of the rain!
Left Duck, took Thomas ring.

Continuing our road trip after attendance at the Wagga Mega event, one of quite a few found during our stopover in Bendigo.
Took care to avoid the bee's nest nearby.

Find number 5 of the 27th day of our trip to Tasmania and the Mega Event. Found at 0715hrs, find number 345 for the trip so far. Quite a track forming to this one. Virtually didnt bother with the GPS. Another easy one.

Kids had a lovely little play in the park while we played with the bees. Really should read previous logs as I took with me a geofriend who is allergic to bees.
Luckily no bee stings, just the mozzie attacks!
TNLNSL. Thanks for the cache!

I introduced my brother to geocahing tonight (He's already calling himself "The Nortsta"...This was the first one we looked for...He had the GPS...geez he was excited...He read alot of the previous logs...then we got to gz....and then we seen a heap of bees which were in an area that would have been good to put the cache in...he seemd to be looking about 20 metres from ground zero then....this was one of those hides that an experienced geocacher would find straight away....I'm not too experienced, but I found it quickly...TFTC.
Found after a short search. If you approach it from the right direction, you can avoid the bees. TFTC
Search - uncomfortable so return back to the car and read the comment - return back and found it with few secs. Glad no water or mud there... Phew!!!. SL. Thanks The Morris for organising the cache and hunt.
Had to send Beck in for this one as I have an allergy to bees. Rather not have to go to hospital and miss the one tree hill event.
27/02/2010 14:30 DNF: We didn't get too close to looking for this cache as there is a bee hive in the base of the peppercorn tree and the bees weren't too happy with us being there, so we left without any sort of search.
Thanks to The Morris anyway.
Maybe we'll try again when the bees slow down for winter.

Take care with this one folks, bees have made a hive in the base
of the big willow tree in the area. Suggest you keep the kids from
climbing around in there until the bees have moved on.

Tristan the Travel Turtle Tag (TTQWTC) has come for a flying visit back in time.
Came to Bendigo to be witness to a high school friends wedding on Saturday.
Today we grabbed a few caches on the way back home.
The hiding place for this cache is home to stacks of mozzies - lucky we didn't get bitten!
Thanks The Morris for this cache.

We were a bit worried that recent rain may hjave washed it down the nearby drain but we needn't have worried. Still securely hidden!
It was a hot day for geocaching, but this was a cool spot to search. We didn't know about these model citizens, so thanks for bringing us here. We made some minor modifications to the shade structure after Bob bumped his head on a protruding branch - the area should be safer now for everyone.

NICE BEEHIVE IN PEPPERCORN TREE - but no problem at the cache. geo dog had a (cricket) ball of a time, with his own find, which he promptly took without swap, (but not from the cache).
No action here today, would not like to try this one after rain. Oh and watch out for the Bees in the top side of the tree.
JABs.

Definately worth a return with my little caching buddy. Another nice easy find. It would be nice to visit these at a time when you don't end up with a pile of grass seeds in your socks.
This was a fairly easy find after a bit of a scramble. TNLN thanks for the cache.
One of those spots you probably wouldn't visit but appreciate when you do. Well found Bluey, our forth for the day.
Walking through tall grass, getting scratched from overhanging tree branches and being observed from peple using the adjacent children's playground and people from neighbouring properties in the nearby street all combined to turn this into one of our more non-memorable hides.
Find # 536 @ 13:00 and the 8th for the day on the Bendigo area caching tour.
Had me scratching my head for a bit then bingo.

This was our first find!
Went for a nice walk down to the area and after a little bit of searching made the find.
Thank you.

Thank you.
A nice quiet spot in the middle of suburbia. And a very well themed cache so I left another little train
Followed the geotrail in to GZ and then hunted until it was found while the et al played on the nearby playground. Left bird card tool train jigsaw. Visited two Irish TBS and coin.
Just got introduced to Geocaching by a friend. Found my first one (with a little help). I think I am addicted already.
Found this one while the young ones played on the nearby playground. A nice easy one to start off a day of Geocaching.
Thank you

only found the broken lid from a black container and 3 loose toys - may be unrelated, but couldn't find cache. Not our day today!
Certainly a challenging find in the fading daylight at 17:25. We too spotted the toys which have clearly been there for some time now; though we did feel assured by previous logs that the cache was still there. Circled around the bushes a few times, crossed the ditch, then finally located the cache while my mate was on the phone trying to get us a spot light. TFTC.
The first thing I found at GZ was a collection of kids toys. I though " there going to be nothing left". But They seemed to be bigger than you would normally see in a cache. Happily a short search found the cache untouched.
Thanks for bringing me here!

Stupid Misguided GPS decided to lead me into an echo-y dark place, Grrr, Dad (MtBikerOz) found the right place however!
Plenty of spots to look for this one.
Like the theme in cache.

Nice easy find on a caching tour to Bendigo with vk3-jap. Thanks FTC, the Morris, TNLNSL
Kids enjoyed exploring the GZ as there had been a number of tennis and 1 cricket ball washed away after the recent rains. Quick find in a good hiding spot. TNLNSL TFTC
Found by McAdies.
It took us a little while to find this one as the dogs kept getting their leads tangled in the undergrowth. In the end we found it and got them free!

Our 2nd out of 3 finds tonight with Team Boofa and Elicats. Crazy Creel no. 2 found this in less than 30 seconds. Not a bad spot for the kids to have a play. Didnt have time though. We had to race back to Spot the Trains and look for Elicats ipod.
