Back for A second attempt. Dnf and that follows a few others. Time for the owner to look.
ABL973 did not find the cache. This looks like it was a nice spot but recent vandalism has ruined it.

On another legendary cache run with best mate ahomburg thru the western regions starting in Werribee all the way to the You Yangs and back again. The weather was ideal today and we had hopes for high numbers, the run started at 7:30am and walk thru the door at home right on 8pm; a big day. However I will be back as there are more to find. Some good cache quality in this region as well as being in some impressive settings.
Research for the run today had me realize that this was part of a rather interesting series which involved a final unknown cache which would no doubt be fun to figure out. Well the finding of this cache was quick and easily as it was spotted from a distance and with some help the cache was finally in hand. Yay!! the information for "X" however left me scratching my head so left it to continue the run however once at home look again and I believe I have now figure it out, clever....[^]
TFTC embi and thanks for bringing me here. Only need to find now "X" to complete the series now.

While cursing the Melbourne Caches Facebook page, I was reminded of the Jasmer Challenge and decided to head west and pick up a few old caches and some other caches that had been on the radar for awhile. The weather turned out to be perfect and instead of the rain coat I brought with me for the day, I should have brought my sunhat!! I had a long but tiring day.
I picked this cache up, (13 of 17 for the day) at 04:22pm. A few months ago, I was with a caching buddy who happened to know the answer for "X", so we went and picked it up. I always felt a little guilty about this and have meant to come and pick this cache up for a while. Today it was a close thing, I was nearly not able to get the cache. I persevered, and got it in the end. Better good for me, I usually call myself 'team cripple' so I was please to be able to do it, all by myself!
Thanks for the cache the england's.

Find # 2062
The regular weekend run with my caching partner in crime SedgwickDave was this week on a Sunday. We were headed out to the Werribee, Tarneit, the You Yangs and then back home via Little River. We left home at 7.30AM with the Diabolical series on our minds.
This was a nice spot, although we were more interested by the challenge set for the puzzle cache "X" We were totally confused by the provided numbers, although we believe we have now solved it. This was a nice quick find, although those short in stature may have trouble without help.
Thanks to the england's for the cache.

I tried this one a couple of years ago without success, but came for another go today. I saw it upon approaching GZ this time, but it was a real struggle to get to it and sign the log. Luckily nobody was around. Thanks for the cache.

There were a couple of locals enjoying their Friday fish n' chips very close to the GZ. Fortunately they made a retreat as we began our inspection. An elegant retrieval of the cache was made, the info recorded and an equally elegant return of the container accomplished just as the next locals arrived.
TNLN . . . SL . . Thanks for the hunt the england's (nee Embi).

Well this was a surprise. Because it's the 3rd time I've tried to find this one.
On both previous occasions , I thought I'd searched every cavity. Obviously not all now I realise.
I saw the cache as I walked up to the structure. Then I read the recent log that the CO had moved it higher for dumb bastards like me to find it easier.
Well it worked.
Thanks for the cache. Now onto part 2. . 23/07/12 1:14 PM Find #391

A drizzly Melbourne day (just to remind us that we're back south of the divide)... what to do? Lets see some interesting sites in the outer Western Suburbs.
We headed out here to get another letter closer to qualifying for the A-Z challenge. The sheltered position was a good spot to eat lunch, and the drizzle kept the muggle quotient low. A mad scramble when the opportunity presented itself, and mission accomplished.

Well, whilst out geocaching with The Wanderers this cache proved to be a challenge when trying to retrieve it from its fantastic hidding spot. With some assistance from 2 geocachers, another was able to retrieve it and when log signed the help was again given so that it could be replaced. We are not sure how short geocachers would get on when trying to retrieve this one! TFTC and the challenge in retrieving the cache from 4 older geocachers! the england.
Been planning to get this for a while but when the local shop wasn't open yet I seized the chance and found this one quickly.
Thanks.
Thanks.
Upgraded the log book and moved the cache about a foot higher. his should help with finding and less spider danger in Summer.
struggled to find this to be honest. i actually thought it was missing, and was going to leave as it was right on dark. shoved my camera in the hole and on the very edge of the image saw the cache. bingo. now on to X. tftc
Gotcha, almost the first place I looked, however didn't have a propper look, and was too scared to dive in.. Thanks Embi for the cache, looking forward to finishing the pair.. Find #2123 (ish)
The Geowife and I had to look for this one for a while. Had to read back through the logs and thought to myself we are looking in the wrong place for this cache. A number of years back this cache would not have been so difficult to get but age catches up with you. I was determined, as always! The cache was then soon in my hand and the Geowife was signing the log. TFTC embi
Visited this one today to collect the clues (forgot to do it at previous time). Cache is in a good condition although there was a lot of spider's web near it. Logbook was jammed in and hard to extract, folded it better so it is now easier to extract. Main logbook/clue sheet is torn and probably needs attention.
A nice easy find after a little bit of searching. One very large and fat huntsman spider welcomed me to the area when I finally located it. I gathered the information required and did what I needed to do to get the X co-ordinates. Only problem was X has gone missing. Next time I'm out that way I'll get the sister cache as I'll have it in my backpack with the approval of the cache owner. Thanks embi.
FINALLY!! After a few attempts (each time put off by a fear of spiders)we can log this as found.
GF went out at 11.30pm, under the cover of darkness, thunder, lightening and rain and most importantly a pair of gardening gloves and found the cache in the most obvious place. We were sure it would be there but wernt brave enough to explore without the garden gloves.
Added a few extra pages to the log so there is room for more visits.
Thanks embi!!

Wow that was a tough one to get on my own, plus it was dark. You might need to be a bit smart about it and use the environment to help you get it.

If an ol' fat fella like me can find it, most people can. Did take a bit of searching though.
2nd find on an otherwise cool, drizzly day! (The perfect time for caching (Less Muggles around)!

Spent quite a bit of time looking for this one with friends, but no luck. Will have to revisit after reading some of the previous logs
Suscoe found this cache just before the lunchoen time stop.
Took alittle energy but finally had the little blighter in hand.
No spiders today!
Signed the log and on our way, after noting the details required.
Log is still full.

Out on this cool Wednesday night for another huge night caching run with my good mate Blacklegend (Marshy). Cache found and log signed. Cool hide. Thanks.
One of 33 found on another legendary night caching run with my good mate Marty (Quasar3671). Marty eventually found this one, being a bit more agile than me. TFTC.
Only one dead spider on our visit. This cache hasn't been found for a while and if it is due to the previous logs, that would be unfair. MAS0N Jnr is 9 years old and really not very fond of spiders and he replaced this cache by himself. This is a nice little hide in a new, clean area. No idea how to get to X at this point but haven't started to really think about it yet, simply collected the clues. Despite protestations from MAS0N Jnr, we went after this cache and were glad we did. TFTC.
Caution to those attempting this cache, I've never seen a larger amount of redbacks, whitetails and other big black hairy spiders in one location. I wasn't game enough to go searching too thoroughly.
Well we looked all around but despite lots of eyes and clambering didn't have any luck. We'll have to try another day. Had to head off to see the Wyndham Lights!
Found it @ approx. 9:45

One day we'll make it to "X"..
Thanks Embi for this cache.
Oh, the other thing, the logbook is getting full, still some space to squeeze names on the stash note side though.

Arriving at the Gz in the rain, we quickly had the cache in hand, but the wife spotted a muggle approaching with no GPS in hand, but it turned out to be the cache owner. Great to chat and catchup with embi, and reminise over Oz Mega that we both attended. TFTH...SL...TNLN

Drove passed this cache after a supermarket run for something for tea. Oldwinebottle recognised a car out the front & as we walked in searchin 63 & hunter 97 walked out so after introductions it was on to the cache. A bit of mountain goat stuff & I had the cache in hand & damn it no pen, as I'd put it back in my caching bag. After a quick dash by oldwine bottle back to the car for pen & paper while I balanced on slippery rocks log was signed.

Now this is near impossible if you don't read the previous logs.
So, with a bit of help from previous finders, I was able to locate it immediately.
Nice little container in a clever hide, and thankfully no-one else around to thwart my endeavors.
My thanks to embi for placing this cache, and now on to capital X.
Still prefer the one at Pykes Ck Res, as it's indirectly responsible for my entry to this sport.

After some lunch it on to this cache my third for the day and has this area gone ahead with all of the new homes. I must admit I read the hint so that made it an easier find but not too easy for the aging Bushfire but was glad of my gym work over the last few years. Signed the log which is getting pretty full and noted the required details for part two. (X) Thanks embi for bringing me back past an area that I have not to for many years.
