Have cache ready to go. Am touching base with a local cacher to arrange replacing.
This cache needs to be archived if the owner is not interested/able to replace it. We would like to place a cache here as it is a very important spot in Port Macquarie and desrves to be visited.
No luck with this one for MuggleMate and myself today. It was obvious that someone else had recently been sniffing about for it recently and I now see that they couldn’t find it either,. Found a screw driver at GZ but not sure what’s that is doing there

Was great to do this cache. Last time we were in Port Macquarie we chickened out on this one because we thought the walk would be too hard. This time we were going to do it no matter what!! Turned out to be not too hard after all.
Unfortunately when we got to the top we couldn't find the cache. Coords were spot on with the clue but there was no cache to be found.

Staying up the road for a few days so walked down for a look. Nice climb in even with a very slippery track. Found easily and signed log.
The rain was pouring down, the path really slippery, and I was absolutely soaked, but the second I got up to the monument it just stopped raining, and it was almost a little sunshine for a while. Amazing view and a really nice spot! TFTC!
Geoson no. 1 enjoyed the climbed to then discovered the cache before the rest of us. While trekking up the hill the heat weighed us down a little but it did not discourage us to search for the cache and enjoyed the views. We were rewarded with a cold drink once we returned our air-conditioned home. [^]
Wow ! Quite a walk/climb up but worth it for the view. Interesting story from long ago. Easy find but we did use the clue. TNLN Thanks
Short climb had us at GZ. Had to wait a short time for a muggle to leave, then to cache was quickly in hand.
Nice view. TNLNSL. TFTC.

Enjoyed the walk, and I'm quite sure that we would not have done it if the cache had not been at the top. Thank you.
Found on our afternoon tour of Port. A nice place for a visit! We took up the challenge and it took us to a great spot! TFTC
Found 17:45. Started up the track as darkness descended. Reached GZ and after a short search with the torch found the cache. Going back down the muddy and greasy track, now in total darkness required some caution as the worst bits were near the cliff edge. TNLN. Thanks.
After rounding up the dog, from rounding up all the other dogs it was a quick walk up the hill for an easy find with great views, Took coin for a trip to Victoria TFTC
easy find for kiwi's in port, i was just someone to talk to up the hill, nice walk and i signed the log

Had to do this one on my own as Geo women decided that it was too steep
Made the climb and quickly found the cache. A bit damp inside but still intact.
Feral 5 might need to make the trip for some maintenance

I had always wondered why this obelisk was here, but never bothered climbing the hill to find out. Now I know. That's my thing I have learned today
Easy find with great views, left a geocoin. Thanks.

Gets a little slippery after rain, but only on the lower parts. Made it to the top, found the cache. Fantastic views, probably best reception I've ever had.

Found on the great Top Gear tour with Geo-uncle Lat & Long Junkie, we headed up to this after finding a couple of other caches nearby. Thanks for the cache and the view.
Note to future searchers: when you get to what looks like a short cut, don't take it [xx(]. Follow the track. Easy find TN/LN/SL read the tragic story and admired the view. Thanks for taking us there, but I wish I'd gone in winter.
Another tough one for an 'old fart' but it was well worhth the effort. An aptly named cache it is good to see that mates are not forgotten. TFTC TN left token.
Decided to let weroamin go for this one alone after only just recently put the crutches away in the back of the geomobile. I opted to chase another nearby cache with less exertion involved.
Just about stood on it very easy find. Good climb to the top.
for the more energetic half way up go straight ahead or I should say UP, for the faint hearted go right.
Great veiw from the top what a sad situation for mates.

Very cool spot to put a cache. Enjoyed the track, the memorial and the views. Cheers Gav [3281]
New cache is ready to go, in the same location as the previous.
Please be careful to replace it as you found it, and give the lid a good hard shove shut. I meant to leave one of my calling cards in the cache, but I left about 30 of them. Feel free to remove and bin all but one !!
Cache is now small US military decon container. It has a log and pen, and could take a couple of geocoins too

Hi Cache on Demand,
I introduced a budding geocacher to this cache today, having done this a couple of months ago - and found that it was missing. Needs achiving, however if you want me to take over and hide a new container in a nearby hiding spot with new cordinates then give me a PM. It seems a shame to archive this one when it has given satisfaction to so many geocachers! I live not far from here so I can keep an eye on it if necessary.

A quick jog up the hill and I was there. Another enjoyable hunt on my evening of port caching.

Popped into this cache on my way back to Port during my easy morning run. This was the 5th cache find for the morning. Didn't know I had to climb a hill but was soon up there. Tragic story. Thanks Cache on Demand.
Enjoyed the view (some whales in sight). The cache was an easy find and the story of the two mates death was very sad. Thanks for the cache. Andrew and Maryan
Our second ever. Geocaching is fun! The log was a little damp inside the microcache but was hidden in a great spot.We could get hooked on this game!

5:15pm. Quite a steep climb to the cache, but the views were worth it. Mr S's thighs reminded him of the climb the next day. TNLNSL.
Quick run up the muddy and slippery track and this one was found. Intresting story behind the memorial.

I went for a run and arrived at the GZ to find the GPS batteries were flat but with the aid of the clue managed to find the cache. Great spot
Had a little trouble parking here as it was a beautiful saturday and every man and his dog was out; literally!!! So after we pulled a park we made the climb up to the moans of some but the view was definately worth it. Its a shame about some PPLs lack of respect in the fact they feel they have the right to graffiti on someones memorial!!! An easy find once there with an exceptional view. TFTC.

Visiting area for a week and took geo-pooch to nearby beach for a run. When we had exhausted him we climbed the hill to the memorial, got a lump in the throat reading it. Found cache ok and quickly made the descent in fading light at 1945.
Found while visiting friends in Port Macquarie. Our 4th cache of the day. A solid climb to the lookout but well worth the effort. Tftc.
3.50pm. An easy find by geogirl junior and a good one to introduce some other interstate family members to geocaching. Great views. SL. TFTC
Another find whilst on our holidays. What an awesome spot even in the wind and rain.

The cache name makes sense after you read the original plaque on the monument. Found quickly without any prying eyes about. SL
Bring your dog as there is a off-leash beach on the way to this cache.

Found it on a walk out to the lighthouse. Calin wasn't to fond of the dogs on the beach, and when going up, she got bitten by a big ant. Really fierce little creatures those. And it hurts! [B)]
Niklas stomped his way back up and found the cache though.

Many thanks for the history lesson and superb view. Take the track to the right when going up the hill - it's easier.
what a view from the vantage point . pass dolphins , cruising by . surfers on the beach . fantastic spot .

Nice easy find, yes great views and GPS reception. Saw some whales and a beatiful Mid North Coast Winter day.
A quick run up to the top although a little slippery on the way down. Mr bloopy graabbed the cache in seconds. Nice lookout.
I wish I'd come here during the day, but from what I heard and how high I climbed I'm sure the views are execellent. The plaques make for interesting reading. Thanks for bringing me here.
Found at 2:10pm – Find 51
A steep hike up the hill to another great vantage point with fantastic views. And here I was thinking the memorial was for someone who met their end much more recently than what it was for. If I let slip when the date was, then that would ruin it for the next people to find this cache.
TNLNSL. Thanks for showing us this place.

Me and my dad ran up the hill because we didn't have much more time in the day. When we got to the top found it in about 2 minutes. Thanks for placing one so close to a great view.
Another spot with great views. We were impressed that we made it up the hill without stopping - this caching business is having a good side effect on us - fitness

Found with Warramoos. Unfortunately very wet but we did our best to fix it. Wet my Hankerchief for the cause Shame it started to spit. Thankyou for a great cache. Loved the view.
Found the cache easy but it was unfortunately very very wet. No muggles around though so we got it all out carefully and dried it as best we could. Tavurvur's hanky did most of the work (unused!) and then we waited while the sun and wind did the rest. It wasn't perfectly dry when it started to rain but almost there. It may need to be checked on. We certainly had time to read the plaques and enjoy the view. Enjoyed our good deed for the day.
did not find this cache think might have been stolen because me and my buddy found a hole with the tile that is so pose to cover it site beside the hole and the hole empty which was a bit of a disappointment so if the owner of this cache could go check on this cache that would be great
Only a short walk from my unit along a couple of beaches. Once There Easy Find.

The last time scott climbed this hill he was 8 and he dragged his grandma up with him. Now we know why almost 20 years later and suffering from dementia she still always tells that story! That’s one steep hill. Went straight to the cache. Absolutely fantastic views!
we just moved to Port 5 months ago looked up my coords on google earth and hunted for a cache close by, 300m "what a score". took geopup up the hill and then onto her fav doggie beach after the find.
What geo-fathers do! After lugging a 9 kg baby up a small steep path glad to get to the top and the wonderful view. Thanks for the cache.
Bit of a trek for the littlies since parts were muddy and slippery but all made it to a successful find. TFTC
nice easy walk from our unit at Flynns. great views for the sunrise or sunset photography.

The weather wasn't the best today and i was nearly blown off GZ but it was still a very much enjoyed cache find which would have been fantastic on a warm sunny day.
Short walk, Great view and with some meaning.

Traveling from Qld to SA with our friends Datto & Sid. I'm so glad that we took the time to find this cache. It is fantastic - geo-dogs really enjoyed the morning hike as did I. The views are great and the monument certainly makes you appreciate amazing mates - especially when you're standing there reading that monument with a great mate!
