I am regretfully archiving this cache since there's been no response from nor action by the cache owner within the time frame requested in the last reviewer note.
Hi rockme
This geocache was brought to my attention as being in need of an owner maintenance visit and after my previous reviewer note, there has been no owner response. The cache owner needs to check on this cache ASAP and either replace it or archive it, after picking up any geo-litter. See the [maintenance section of the Geocache Listing Requirements/Guidelines](http://www.geocaching.com/about/guidelines.aspx#listingmaintenance).
I've added this cache to my watchlist, and I will check back in four weeks to be sure that the maintenance has been done. In the meantime, I have temporarily disabled this listing. When the maintenance is completed, the owner can enable the listing by clicking on the link below the cache name to return it to active status.
Whatever your intentions, please **post a note** here on the cache page (not email) to let us know that you are still active and maintaining the cache. If a month passes without seeing a response, then I'll assume that this listing should be archived.
Please note, that if a cache is archived due to lack of owner maintenance, the cache is unable to be unarchived.
Regards

Add us to the list of dnfs. Last legitimate find appears to be HaydenSeek two years ago. CO last active in 2016.
Sorry rockme its another DNF here... maybe it's still there or maybe a replacement should be laid to rest in this peaceful spot?
Thanks for placing this cache

Last log was meant to be DNF but I sent it accidentally as a find... will remove when able to edit on home computer.

No go here today I'm afraid. I spent a bit of time looking around where my GPS took me, plus a few other 'likely looking' spots, but nothing was found
Well this is a very late log!
We decided to come for a mini holiday and at the same time help out NZ tourist industry so we came down to Paekakariki for a few days staying at the local motel which is very pleasant and run by friendly and helpful hosts.
I had done my home work on where possible caches were and i saw this one! I thought! that is strange i am sure i visited and found this cache a long time ago but obviously forgot to log it so i thought i would re visit and check the log but it wasn't until i parked and got ready to do the short walk that i checked the previous logs! Oh no .. but i am very very sure i found this a while back so i have given it an arbitrary date to my log.
thank you.

There has obviously been some clearing done here which may have covered or removed the cache. Had a reasonable hunt but there was a chap tending a new grave and didn't like to upset him.
Evening walk in QEII park. Nice straight forward find. Nice to grab another oldie. Thanks for the cache.
I need to locate and sign off three caches today for a personal challenge.
Found it but had left my pen back in the cachemobile but took a photo of the log. Hope that will suffice.
Cheers for the cache.

Wandering through the surrounding area today, collecting caches as I go. Did not take long to uncover this one. All safe and dry here. TFTC

The track was well groomed indeed but the last few meters to the cache quite overgrown though. Two horse riders passed while I was crouching in the bush I wonder if they noticed anything

Nice walk up hill to cemetary. First time here. Cache easily seen. Geocaching with my 9yr old daughter. She left a shell. TFTC.
A lovely afternoon walk on the last day of 2017. The microcachers enjoyed hunting through the long grass and were pleased with their swaps. Thanks for the cache and Happy New Year.
I came to a funeral here when I was very young and so glad to have found this cemetery. Graves have no names but one must belong to my families friend.
The cache was further in the bush than expected but finally turned up. Thanks.

A quick find. Just as hint said.
Very wet underfoot today, shoes soaked. Log a little damp.
Thanks

just follow the path don't crash through the bush.Is this a private cemetery looks like a fairly new grave nice view
So glad to get this one after 3 DNF's before this. as reported an easy trail is now visible, thanks CO for the cache.
I'd had a couple of DNFs so I tacked this on to my trip to complete the second 'Month Hidden' grid slot I was aiming for today.
It's an easy walk from the car park and there's a very clear geotrail taking you from the path to the cache - a doddle! It's nice to see the original log book is still in the cache after more than ten years.
TFTC, and an FP for the logbook.

11/2/17 - The last geocache we got after a long detour and taking a long, rather cacheless route accidentally. Anyway, 10 for the day and I'm happy. Tftc
Found eventually after taking the direct route straight up the bank from not the right path. TFTC.
Lovely day for a walk in QE park
Found easy enough once I started to look in the right area

A bit of grass bashing required but quick find on arrival thanks to classic geohide. TFTC.
Argh! Me and Captain Morgan regularly sail a few sheets to the wind, so well qualified for this matey. A fine treasure map and good booty, rockme!
Family caching tour @ the queen on a beatiful day [^] : the pirate and Mrs CM enjoyed the views while I was off to bash the bushes

Logged with GCDroid. Helps if you look at where you need to head before deciding on a bush bash to get to gz as I did. It is possible to walk further before you doubleback to cache without enduring a smack round the ears by tree branches etc. Think those pirates had something to do with it.
Part of a great day out, cold and brisk but sunny, a perfect day for caching. TFTC.
Followed the compass and made the same mistake as last visitor should have read logs first saved going on the wrong track. Nice views swapped TB TFTC
While having a wander round some previously unexplored corners of QE11 Park, couldn't resist picking up this cache. Loved the very appropriate cache name too. And the great views! Thanks for the cache.
Needed to find a large cache to drop off a TB I picked up in Japan; luckily it was a glorious sunny day, my day off from work and I had the grandkids visiting, so off we went for a walk and a search. We went on the wrong track first but saw lots of eels in the stream. Once on the right track we enjoyed the views and scrambled around in the bushes for quite a while before geo granddaughter found it. Great spot that I haven't explored yet. Dropped off a TB, picked up one. TFTC
A quick find - if you follow the tracks - didn't know there was a cemetery here - nice spot. TFTC ps log book 14 yrs old & really full!!
Good find. Have biked in this park many times, but never been up here. Thanks for putting the cache here. All good and dry. TFTC Swapped TBs.
Found on my way to the sunset event at Mackays.
No problems here. Nice to get another "oldie."
Dropped off a couple of trackables, one wanting to avoid spots vulnerable to muggles and another that needed a big enough cache. A bit of a squeeze to get them both in so hopefully the next finder will move one or both on!
Gets a FP, nice location.

1752 What a lovely spot on a gorgeous morning. Once again geocaching has taken me to somewhere I would never have known about.
TFTC. Got lucky and found straight away - or are the kids' eyes getting tuned in? Took Xmas stamp, left mosaic bead.
Staying nearby at the campground and had a nice morning walk to find this cache. Took the travelbug. TFTC !
We found this cache during our 5 week trip in NZ. Beautifull country with a lot of caches! After a swim in the sea and M14 in bed i had some time. This was a quick find.

#1198. Well I took the wrong track to this one and had to head uphill. Got very close to the apparent GZ and searched everywhere. Nothing looked like a good hiding place. After about 10 mins I climbed up to the top of the hill and found another track and a trial leading off it. Then I saw the cache sitting there looking quite exposed. Nice big container. Left a few swaps, signed the logbook and covered with an object I suspect was meant to be on top to give it bit more camo. Interesting to see the urupa site close by. TFTC
Found it but I had no pen. Needs one. Scratched the incorrect date 17/7 rather than 12/7 tetchy
I did a nice little hike in a quite big park.
Thank you for showing this spot to me and for hiding a cache.

Initially took the wrong path, but once I got that sorted it was a nice quick find, during a raid on Kapiti coast today.
Nobody about on a lovely sunny summer's day.

Nice quick find in another area we have never visited before. Thanks for placing a cache here.
Didn't see any pirates but did see a few dead people and did find a small plastic chest with a logbook inside. Nice little stroll in an area unknown to us. An easy uphill walk after finding "Dog Bridge" with unbelievable views given the nothingness of the climb. Great spot for a rest at the top and a chance to pay our respects to those eternally at rest. Thanks for bringing us here. SLTFTC
What an absolutely astounding place to spend your afterlife, wouldn't mind spending mine in such a beautiful place like this. TFTC
GOT it! I'm pleased to report cache and contents in good condition after all this time. Found with Nic-Jay
Found on an afternoon's trip over the hill with Infoferret. A fairly easy find. I'm surprised it has not been found for a wee while. TFTC
After a unnecessarily long walk to the cache, the cache was soon in hand. Thanks.
Great walk up here, didn't know there was an urupa. Good views. Took a bit of a search but we found it. TFTC!
