We spent a weekend out in the wheat belt with family and friends before heading off to collect some more smilies, we are happy to say we came up trumps here and another smilie was earned TFTC

Glad to finally knock this cache over, shame it's now archived!

Note to future finders, there is a sign on the fence telling you the geocache is further along. The property belongs to the shire.

What a lovely drive today through the southern wheatbelt, well south of great eastern highway!

There was a fair amount of rain about today and with us having a later start than planned meant we had to skip the group of caches at kokerbin rock and just focus on everything else on the map.

Our focus today was to leave only caches north of great eastern highway to find for our next wheatbelt trip.

Absolutely love it out here, serenity, nice bush hides no micros!

Had a great day out with the highlight being collecting 5 more caches from the wheatbelt science trail, meaning we only have around half a dozen more to be the first teams to complete the series!

Collected a few archived caches that are still on play and had a great day out. Only a dozen finds but still a good day.

One or more of the following has occurred:

No response from the cache owner.
No cache to find or log to sign.
It has been more than 28 days since the last owner note.

As a result I am archiving this cache to keep from continually showing up in search lists and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements.

Should you like to resurrect the cache please create a new cache listing so it can be reviewed as a new cache.

From http://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=70

4.23. Unarchiving a Geocache

The archiving of a geocache is intended to be a permanent status. That is why only community volunteer reviewers and Geocaching HQ staff have the capability to unarchive it. This is done only in rare circumstances and only if it meets the current Geocache Listing Guidelines.

If a geocache is archived by a reviewer or staff for lack of maintenance it will not be unarchived.

23-Jun-17
The cache appears to be in need of owner intervention.

I am temporarily disabling it, to give the owner an opportunity to check on the cache, and take whatever action is necessary.

Please respond to this situation in a timely manner (i.e., within 28 days) to prevent the cache from being archived for non-responsiveness.

If you require more time please be sure to post a note (not an email) explaining the situation and how much more time you require.

For ongoing issues please ensure you visit the listing and post a new note every 28 days to keep everyone up to date or the cache will be treated as an abandoned cache and archived without further notice.

I downloaded caches to my GPS before I left Perth. When I arrived at GZ I found a fence. After searching each side I resorted to reading the description only to find the the cache was not at the coords listed. As I did not have the means to convert to the supplied format the cache went unfound

19-Jun-17
If the co-ords have been changed as in this case they need updating through Geocaching in the correct formula not in the cache description as it has been done here the correct formula is ddd mm.mm not ddd mm'ss.ss

19-Jun-17
I agree with Seabreeze oz this cache either needs maintenance or archiving

19-Jun-17
Since the owner is not interested in updating the co-ords to the correct ones more than four years after the first 'Needs Maintenance' log the cache should be archived

10-May-17
I was a bit despondent when I got to the listed coordinates last night, but was able to get the corrected coordinates shortly afterwards. I had to come pst this morning to get the prize in the dark.

The final day of my Adelaide to Perth drive after heading to the Red Centre Experience in Alice Springs. Looking forward to getting home now.

TFTC Governor Phillip.

Governor Phillip, KrabiBoy found your cache The Great Train Robbery on 9/5/17.

08-Apr-17
OMG!!! The train was stolen. New housing development now. Needs maintenance

07-Apr-17
Ok. Found it after reading previous posts and the correct coordinate datum.
Very interesting adventure. Well worth the extra work.

07-Dec-16
Found using the instructions. Was out in the country for work and thought I'd Hava look to see what was around. Unfortunately have to go back to work now and can't look any more.

29-Nov-16
Mentioned to muggle the other day that I needed three more LGAs to reach 90 to complete a challenge so he devised a route for us to go so I could get a few more. I added to the route so after 1350km in total and 36hrs return trip back home to Bunbury I got 16 LGAs all up which I'm happy with and 35 cache finds Big Grin

Muggle found this one while I was looking elsewhere Razz

Wow lots of items to have a look at while on the way out.

TFTC

Oops just logged this out of finding order, I somehow missed lovely Narembeen

23-Nov-16
Heading home from Kalgoorlie today, so I decided to stop for a couple of caches along the way to fill in some of LGAs. This was one.

Felt a bit weird driving into this abandoned farm but some cool things to look at on the way to
Gz.

I can't wait to catch up with everyone again at
[WA GOES BIG 2017](https://coord.info/GC6TD11) in Rockingham, WA.
Perths big event is on again.
**See you there**.

Governor Phillip - Kyzabra found your cache The Great Train Robbery . The cache is in good shape and we replaced it as found. Thanks for placing and maintaining your cache.!

This was HARD! Getting access by road was great with the sign at the gate but putting those bearings in sent me on a wild goose chase! Thanks to Flying Platypus on 16th May 13 I put the coordinates S 32 03.655 and E 118 22.822 and found it.

07-Apr-16
Hi there Governor Phillip - We found The Great Train Robbery today - our find # 3734, while out and about on a lightning tour of the Northern Wheatbelt. After pulling up to the gate I decided (not having read the cache notes fully) that my coordinates were on private property and went to another local cache. After finding that cache I looked further into the notes and realised that I was at the correct location, so returned and drove through the gates and almost right up to the cache. The cache was found quickly and the container and log are in good condition. Thanks to Governor Phillip for the cache.

12-Mar-16
After correspondence with the CO. It is on a farm that is operated by the shire and isn't private land.

Was at one stage private land but it was given to the shire when the farm was abandoned

04-Feb-16
Went to the listed co ords and found nothing then read up and realised it was moved. Still behind a gate. Really needs to be checked

26-Oct-15
I tried the approach from Narembeen Bruce Rock Rd only to be confronted by a gate. It appears access is across private land. I might give this one a miss..

28-Jun-15
The new coords took me to a farm road and the gates were shut so I gave up.

12-Feb-15
Third (and final) day of my loop through the Eastern wheatbelt. Can't do any more for a while 'cos the cricket starts on Saturday and that's me stuck in front of the telly for the next month. Found this one today at 10:05. I had tried previously, but there were roadworks on the highway and the entrance was blocked, but that's finished and the access was open again. TNLNSL TFTC

No luck at all. Going on past comments maybe this one needs sorting out..

08-Jun-13
Surprised We arrived at GZ after tackling the GCA cache Narembeen ICEM. Alas all we found were empty sheds! Seems the namesake has occurred. They are putting in new housing around here, not sure if the cache and it's host have moved but they surely are no longer at GZ. Sad

16-May-13
Now this is kinda weird. The cache has been moved but the co-ords published are for the old location. It was less than pleasing to be directed to the wrong place. Then the new co-ords contained in the text, which we read later, are in another format.
For avoidance of doubt the new co-ords in the normal and acceptable format are S 32 03.655, E 118 22.822 and the access road which appears to be a private driveway is a public road ( probably)
Suggest the cache owner clears up the listing.

A great spot for a cache, and a fine (?) collection of machinery here. It'd really benefit from someone spending their lifetime in sorting it out and making it presentable! Big Grin. TFTC.

Found today on a day trip out east. Was a quick find but agree with the previous log that you will need to check on this cache as the power and water have been laid nearby so the move must of this stuff must be soon so they can subdivide the blocks properly.

Thanks for the cache.

Dropped off Trucks Decal TB and retrieved. TFTC TNLN

Q&E find, no swaps

02-Oct-08
It was nice to see a cache that links with one of ours. The Vultee parts in the museum made it come to life. The engine is from another plane but the twisted parts show how the plane broke up on contact.

We took the Toy car in the cache as it was requested that someone took it places and uploaded photos of it. We will upload them here so they are in one place. Its been out to Thiel Rock and back and all places in between. The car is now in a new cache (yet to be approved) on the tin horse highway at Kulin

The cache....we found it and logged it and put the log book in ziplock bag so it stays dry.
Thanks for the cache.

Thought this one was going to be easy - even said to mate that we probably won't even need the gps after looking at the clue.
How wrong can one be.
Took about 25 mins to find it - it was well hidden.
Cache was full of a big pine cone that was decomposing so tossed it out and left a couple of goodies in its place.
A good day out.

12:35 I was scouting sites near this town last year and it was a surpise to see this one pop up, so instead of being first to hide I'll settle for a first to find Big Grin

One of the first things that caught my attention was the engine of a Vultee Vengeance like the one that crashed out East of town. I'd visited that site in search of the Lyn Pat and Nathan cache.

Found the cache without too much difficulty, the co-ords were ok.
TN L a padlock? TFTH
