I made up the 4th person for the GeosportZ 4 X 4 relay to Ballarat so this was found in the company of Alansee, Caughtatwork and SamCarter. Thanks to Caughtatwork for having found this and doing some pointing in the right direction. The cache is obviously still there and thankfully adds another one to my total, Yippeee.
Thanks for the cache

Stop 15 on the GeosportZ 4x4 Relay to Ballarat. Despite the fact that this one is off-line, it is, in fact, still there, which brought no end of satisfaction to Alansee who had looked for it more than once, and to me and Uncle Jiffy (for whom this was a bonus find for the day). Thanks muitah, for bringing us to this interesting spot and to caughtatwork for knowing it was still here and having ideas of where to look.
Well, my third search for this one, even though it is currently listed as offline. Fortunately we had a previous finder with us and the cache was found right where he said it would be! A good hide and good to finally put this one off the list.
For an inactive cache. this ones caused some intrest, I failed to find this one twice, but after seeing the recent logs hoped for the best and scored !!!.
A great location and a great cache, although not what I expected.

It is certainly there. It does blend in very well and is completely different to what we had expected (from the original clue about pliers). We had searched fruitlessly a couple of times in the past with the gps showing us needing to be across the tracks. Not using the gps this time and relying on the logged clues we located and retrieved the cache with only a momentary Owch! moment.. This is a great location for a cache so lets hope it continues. Thanks Muitah.

Well this one was finally found. The first couple of times it wasn't there and then after reading a previous log we returned only to find someone had moved it! Logging back on we used the clue and went back and found the cache. A relief as it had been a challenging one.

Found this one with caughtatwork & GabGab today. As this was not their first attempt at this cache we used the spoiler in a previous log (thanks whitejaegar) and located the cache rather quickly, but nowhere near the posted co-ords.
The cache is in good condition and intact and we have placed it closer to where it was originally located. (See c@w's log).
Thanks for a cache in an interesting location. TNLNSL.

I found this cache with caughtatwork and The Mini Mob today. This was the 3rd time we have been to the bridge and we were able to find the cache this time. Thank you mutiah.

Finally. After 2 previously failed attempts, the details in one of the previous logs was enough to give away the final resting location, some 20m from my GZ and the same distance from where I was shown where it should have been acccording to a previous finder.
The cache has been relocated (this is kind of like a moving cache) not quite back to where it should be as one false move and it's down on the tracks, but still to a position closer to where the correct GZ originally was.]
The cache is located under the bottom step at the south end of the bridge.
[Thanks muitah. You can successfully reactivate this cache as all is well with the container and the enclosed log book.
Thanks for the fun of trying to find this cache on a couple of previous occassions. It was on my nemesis list and today was the day to get it taken off.]

I am not destined to find this cache.
Last time, I was there after it was made temporarily unavailable.
Today I came back with the knowledge that it was there less than a week ago, but still nothing, nada, zip, zilch, bugger all.
I was certain I was right on top of it. The GPS had me 1m from where I expected to find it, but there was nobody home.
I cracked and called sully1 (what a very nice cacher, who I'd never met before). She played the right games with me, offering a hint, then a bigger hint. I rang off certain I could find it with the hints, but still nothing was coming to the fore.
I called back, quite anguished and sully1 said she'd meet me at GZ. Obviously because I was blind (my words).
Well, sully1 pulled up and we all had a bit of an introduction and then got serious about finding the cache. We looked here, there, everywhere and it certainly wasn't in the same place that it was found in December.
We looked high, we looked low and then we gave up. According to the previous finder, it simply isn't where it's supposed to be and buggered if we could find it anywhere within cooee of where it was supposed to be.
We know what we were looking for, but it wasn't to be found today.
There is a strong implication that the cache is gone, but hey, sometimes two people can miss the same thing.
If anyone can confirm it's still there, I'll be back and I'll bring the guide dog with me.

5th find for the day at 1320. Took a while the clue about pliers made us think it was in a tight spot. Our GPS was showing near a tree, not right. The cache blends in well with its hiding spot.

Mr Emu & Son were unable to find this cache in spite of searching for about 15 minutes. We re-read the information and logs trying to glean some useful information, but alas, no good. In the end we gave up because a muggle with a guitar arrived and sat on the top step near the GZ, to practice in the lovely sunshine!
Will watch the logs, and try again another day. Thanks all the same for showing us this interesting area muitah. Enjoyed the trainspotting from the vantage point.

I have found this cache as part of JADE004, but have now created my own separate account (therefore I am not shown in the log book under this username).
Our second visit here, with the enlisted help of JADE004 & WOLLASTON. Spotted by Geo 10 y.o. nephew within seconds. Just goes to prove, sometimes a return trip is well worth the effort. Thanks muitah. TNLN
Well done! We thought this was excellent. I think we may have been lucky to locate it so quickly. TNLN TFTC.
Three of us searched high and low, far and wide, in and out, up and over, were about to dismantle the structure then decided a DNF was the easier option.
Tried everything short of a divining rod and bungee cord. Just not going to happen.

Took a different perspective, as others had as well, and saw what I was looking for!!!
Pen ran out as I was writing the log though.

Nineteenth of twenty-four caches on our usual end-of-year caching assault with acts2youthgroup. We knew that we were going to have a tough time at this one. We made in initial reconnaissance, but came up dry. I decided to take a different view of things. We retrieved the cache at 1745. Interesting container. I made no exchange. Thanks to muitah for the cache.
Twenty of Twenty-four cache finds for the day, the cache was found at 17:45. This was Dak’s Emu Mobs and Acts2YouthGroups annual end of year caching trip. This one proved a little tricky, but we used team work and the cache was soon in hand. A train went past and gave us a toot, we wondered if it was Dak’s Brother.
DNF. My first DNF for quite a while, but things were going against me from the start.
Due to the construction materials of the structure, and the 38 degree heat, it made looking quite uncomfortable!!
Will return soon to find this one. After reading the logs, I will definately find this one.
Thanks for the obvious thought that has gone into this hide.

Well this one has us stumped. We looked and looked and looked................ we read the previous logs, and tried looking from a different perspective as others had said, still to no avail. Poked in holes, and found nothing but spiders and their webs. Eventually gave up as the last of the daylight was fading fast, but we shall return another day. Have lived here all my life, but never actually been to this spot, so it was worth the look anyway.
Dear Muitah,
We found your cache today at 7:50pm as the final of eighteen on our Circumference de Ballarat Tour II. This was a tough hide and we spent about 30 minutes looking for it. Eventually we called Pprass for a clue and after about 5 more minutes, we came up with the unlikely hide. The incorrect cache size description is deceptive and does have you checking a lot of impossible spots which has fooled many before us too. Thanks for our 2nd Muitah cache.
Kind Regards,
D & H B-A

We looked hard for this one, not sure we had the right idea, but looked high and low for it, will have to try again soon...
Found by EchoZero early this morning.
Were going to tackle it yesterday morning but as we parked, a couple of other cars pulled up, the occupants looking rather scary and none too pleased with our presence - so we took a hike!
Took us a few minutes to find it, mainly because we were only looking at the problem from one direction, shall we say...

Found @ 16:30 on our second attempt.
Well we almost took the structure apart in our desperation to find the cache.
We couldn't poll the audience, or take a 50/50 so to our chagrin we had to resort to phoning a friend. (It's exactly where the GPS says it is!!)

This was my second attempt at this cache and I still could not find it. After a while, I gave in and called the Pprass helpline. It was only through Peter's direct instructions that I was able to locate the cache. Very nicely hidden. Thanks for the cache.
No muggles around today. We searched where the GPS led us but unfortunately no find.
Found at 11.35am GAFF2. Our second visit as the first time the cache had been muggled. However this time we were just about going to call it quits, when we decided on one final assault from a different perspective. We had a certain sized and shaped container in mind and were surprised at what we found. Good hide mutiah.
Great bridge and well concealed container mutiah. At 7.15am I could search without raising suspicion.
A late log. I found this with RoundCircle and just getting around to logging.

We had muggle problems at both the caches we did today. They were waiting to see a train go through, so we had to leave. A short hunt on our return turned up nothing. One last scan as we finished up spotted it. We certainly could not have grabbed it with out being noticed while the muggles were around.
Great hide and interesting spot.

The Morris said this was a little more challenging, so I went and had a look before it got dark. Several locals were filming the train come through. Waited until they were gone and found the cache.

Found at 1:32pm. Found accompanied by the GeoMrs as navigator and scribe. 2nd find of 4 for the first day on our Ballarat/Bendigo & beyond expedition. After an attempt at Black & Gold cache nearby, having had a bit of a rest stop we thought we'd give this one a try. I scrounged around the tool box and took some pliers with me as per the cache sheet (but didn't end up using them) and BINGO. Being a train enthusiast myself this was an interesting spot to come to, and a relatively esy find after our last stop. Loved the container, although I thought I'd be looking for something smaller. TNLN Signed log. Thanx muitah...
Eventually found after some time spent crossing the bridge trying to look inconspicuous,& being wary of muggles.
We looked high, we looked low , we looked suspicious so we had to stop.

Loved this one took some patience and determination, going back and forth a few times. TNLN SL
Didn't get much of a look because there was a trainspotter with a camera close by, but all attempts in the obvious places weren't fruitful.
30 mins later and the 3 of us gave up. Sorry we think it is either invisable or gone???
Alan-san, Kiwideb and myself looked up and down and all around without success. Given that it was recently replaced, we assume that it is still there, but we couldn't find it. Thanks for the cache.
Cache was once again stolen by muggles! They must like the custom brass containers. Cache has been relocated to a different hiding spot with a much plainer container.

It seems we were not alone in our failed search. Although the weather was cold and the night was dark the search was thorough with warm coats and torches.
The GPS led as to one spot and it appears the coordinates are spot on, however there was no cache. After leaving the area I phoned Maccamob and confirmned we were looking in the right spot.
Many thanks muitah it appears to be a great spot for a cache and it appears the Muggles agree .

In very cold a windy conditions, we searched most of the structure after initially noticing what we thought was a good spot for such a hide, however nothing was there. After a few minutes, the cold was starting to get to us, so we called GeoJo for confirmation as to where we were looking. From the information that we received, it looks like this cache has gone again. Thanks in any case muitah
Turns out this cache had indeed been muggled. A new container has been made and is now back in the same location.
Found cache but unfortunatly it was missing it's log. All it contiained was little stars
Well... we think we found it! Talking to maccamob later in the afternoon the cache was missing the camouflage and retrieval mechanism present when they found it. We managed to pull the container out, but inside was only some red stars - no logbook. Left a page with our names on it as proof we were there. Any chance you can check on this one to see if we were at the right place?!
Found with GeoJo (although we had missed the name). It looked like the right container however it was a little hard to retrieve from it's hidey hole...
Nice old structure though that seems to lure more than one type of enthusiast!

Found by Mary & David at 1215. A familiar location which we'd visited before while caching. This was to have been our first for the day, but when we arrived there was a muggle right at GZ with camera and tripod at the ready. Looked like he was waiting for a train to pass by. Rather than waste time waiting for him to move on, we went off to find 'Black & Gold' instead. On our return, the coast was clear and our GPSr took us right to the cache and a quick find. Our thanks again to muitah.

Cache container has been totally replaced. Hopefully this will prevent any further water logging problems
Micro's have nver been our strong point and this was no exception to the rule. We searched high and low for approx 20 minutes to no avail. With fading light, being underdressed for the sudden cool change and a couple of hours drive home we decided to come back another day. About to log this dnf we see that there have been problems we look forward to grabbing it next visit
Found on our second visit.
Lost out to Navescapes for the FTF by a couple of hours.
A great location that train enthusiasts will enjoy.
Cache was full of water.
Unable to put pen to paper to sign log, as it was falling apart even while trying to unfold it.
A great idea for the container, unfortunately its placement may need re-evaluated. The water had expanded the "outer camoflage" but luckily some extra hardware was in the car, and cache was in hand.
Saw in the previous log (Neil's "full stop" key must be broken ) that Navescapes have alerted Muitah, and while logging next morning, I see that the cache is temporarily disabled.
Thanks for the cache Muitah. Hope to see some more of yours around soon.
