As this is a fairly easy cache but in an awkward location, I do not want people wasting their time and risking injury (steep slope) in searching for it, so I suspect it has been muggled. I do not live nearby anymore so cannot carry out a maintenance check in the immediate future. However I will attempt to get there within the next month to check it out.
I have a free day… let’s go caching. I decided on finding the last section of the ‘RGGT Trail’ and the loose caches between the final of the trail and Narrandera. It feels so good to have finally finished the ‘RGGT Trail’ and off my To-Do-List. I started this trail on the 31 October 2016 and finished it on 26 November 2018 which is a 757 day journey. This includes 5 attempts and lots of fun and laughs.
Day #1 (31/10/16): Caches #1 to #19
Day #2 (05/04/18): DNF’s from #1 to #19
Day #3 (17/04/18): Caches #20 to #32
Day #4 (25/07/18): Caches #33 to #61
Day #5 (26/11/18): Caches #62 to #81 (A.K.A. Final)
It was such a nice drive around the county side with a clear sky, a lot of wildlife running/flying around and getting lost in Matong Forest. I did eventually find my way after nearly an hour of driving and walking around the area. Before heading home, I had lunch at Subway in Narrandera. On some of the smaller logbooks I signed as 26/11 JM and TB visit on all found caches today. I would like to thank Riverina Geocaching for the great trail and to all other CO’s of the other caches I found and for the fun I had while finding them.
My only DNF of the day. I spent quite some time looking around and reading past logs looking for hints for this one. It didn't help, hearing most cachers found it quickly. I have come up with 3 reasons why I couldn't find it today.
#1: Cache blindness (most likely)
#2: It has been missed placed and/or the hint is misleading
#3: Has been muggled (least likely because of the location)
Thanks anyway Roostaman and youngnils

Staying at the tourist park for a couple of days. Found this after a lovely morning walk. Great views. TFTC
Thankyou for bringing us to see this great view, we followed the kangaroo trail to within 15 metres of the cache, then Muggle Hubby did the descent and cache retrieval, whilst I took photos. He normally does an exercise walk around the lake at Shepparton on Wednesday mornings, this was his exercise walk for today.
Thanks for showing us another sight that we wouldn’t have known about, were it not for this great pastime of Geocaching.

Found on our way home to Ballarat after a short holiday in Canberra for a few days and then West Wyalong for two nights visiting family. Today was a relatively short day of driving by the geocache trail and we made Cobram for the night. A nice little walk into the cache today then picnic at the nearby shelter. All is well with the hide. TFTC Youngnils.
Found on our way to Barcaldine for the QOGM events.
What a great view. Managed to dodge the school group down below. Thank you for bringing us here Roostaman and youngnils.

Hi there youngnils.
We found your cache **"Lake View"** today. (This makes our find count 19344).
We cached around Leeton today. We didn't really have a plan, but the aim of the day was to cache along a road we haven't traveled on since we became full time grey nomads. (We can now draw another line on our map). We enjoyed our day caching, the walks were really good but flamin' nanos!! [xx(][:(!] This cache was our last stop before heading back to the van for happy hour.
We found 15 caches today (DNF'd 4) & thoroughly enjoyed our cache raid. Thanks for placing the cache here, without geocaching as our guide we would never have found so many interesting places on our travels.
***Coordinate Accuracy:** We found your cache around 2m from where the GPS said we should be looking.
**Cache Condition:** The container and log book are in good shape.
**Took:** Nothing.
**Left:** Nothing.
Thanks for the hunt today,
Regards
Ian & Penny.

Early morning walk on the Lake Loop looking for Koalas. Easy find with the hint and very nice views. Many thanks to youngnils!
Out with angusnmumyadventure, & geo-nanny . A nice view from the high road. Boats about on the lake, bikes scooting around the area and muggles enjoying the good life.
Found while on a uni trip to the area studying sedimentology and landscape evolution. TFTC!!!
Great view, stopped overnight, did some caching. Tyfc. HINT take the high road.
Found It!
A nice little walk and a quick find. Not a bad view either!

Our last day of NSW travel as we headed south towards the border after attending the GeoMuster in Morisset. Towing the van we made stops for caches where there was room to safely pull off the road. A good spot to stretch our legs.
Thanks 'youngnils' for placing caches for everyone's enjoyment.

After initially taking the wrong rabbit trail we found it on a lovely day for walking. Thanks from Alaska.
Went driving looking for a spot to read my Bible. Found a lookout and had a check of GeoApp. Sure enough, a cache nearby. Great views of the river. Easy enough to be achievable but off track enough to be satisfying. TFTC
In town for the festivities and with help from geogranson made a quick find here Thanks Youngnils for the hide SL TNLN Cheerio 4 Now
This one was brutal. It was hot, im tired, gps was bouncing, running out of time but thabks to mummaD72 we finally made the find!
Passing through town. Went for a quick walk to find this one. Took the wrong track to start with. When I got to the area I was pretty cautious as I nearly stood on a snake a couple of weeks ago in similar country while out caching.
This time all good.

Continuing my 3 day trip to Qld and It was still nearly dark before sunrise when i arrived here and the gates were locked too so it was a good walk for this one. But i was keen to fill another AUSmer gap and soon had this one in hand. Great views from the GZ. thx for placing a cache here for us to find.
Found on the 31/07/2017 at 10:51:00 AM.
I joined forces with J+J for a caching road trip down to SA. We got up early and covered 950km by road on the first day. While I only found 28 caches today, it was mainly due to the large distances between caches.
Tomorrow the hard caching starts!
Thanks for the cache.

Travelling to SA for some caching and picked this one along the way with Noodes22. Nice spot. Dropped off a Ptag. TFTC
Not a spot for things, rocky path, longish grass in some spots and a slippery descent to the GZ. Relatively easy find though.
I was staying at the nearby caravan park and decided to try for a few caches nearby. The track is a bit rundown and eroded away in parts and I came across a mauled kangaroo carcass on the track at one point. When heading for gz I slipped and slid my way through the flattened grass on the steep hill to find the hiding spot. I looked for a long time and almost gave up before my perseverance paid off. This is a well hidden cache in a hard to get spot. A great adventure. TFTC
Followed the path from the picnic area until the Garmin shifted to nine o'clock and then made a bee line for the box. Great views of the river thank you.
We took the low road first and then while on the high road we abandoned within 20m because the mosquitoes were so vicious. We'll be back one day when the floods have subsided.
Windy morning walk to quickly find. Not so quick due to waterlogged bottom track so meandered my way up and continues walk from higher ground tftc
Attempted this one last night from the bottom track in the dark, a mistake came back this morning along the top track, found the cache easily. Thanks for bringing us to this great view
While on a road trip to Lake Victoria, we diverted to Natrandera. The pursuit of geocaches provided a welcone break and Lake View was a straightforward find when approached uphill. Thank you youngnils for this cache.
We were here for the Lions Convention at Echuca. Found it but I was puffing when I at last found it. It is best to walk along the top path rather that what I did and went down to the lake side and then climbed the hill. TFTC anyway
Interesting cache with some great views
Took the low track in & once gps settled was an easy find
Took the high track for a short walk out

We had been exploring town and getting a cache or two and pulled up at this one before going back to our caravan park for dinner. At the car park we found a high and low track and were unsure which was the right one, fortunately we chose correctly. We enjoyed the walk to GZ and some of the views were great. At GZ we had a curious wallaby watching us as we made the find.

We got as close as we could and then walked down hill. Nice view of the lake at the top. Thanks for the hide and bringing us here.
3. This one was a little hatder to find as the walk was down hill, water washed the away the road/track, found out how unfit I am lol need to do more.
Lovely morning for a walk with the GeoHubby and a nice view rewarded with a cache. TFTC
Nice find first for the day. Found with the geowife. We leave Narrandra today and head to Kyneton in Victoria. TFTC.
After a phone call from Roostaman, we decided to do a caching trip to Narrandera and Leeton.
We traveled along a lot of bus tracks and around the lovely towns, picking up a good variety of hides.
All cache signed and replaced as found.
Many thanks for placing this cache, youngnils, for us and others to find.

We parked at the lookout and followed the track towards the cache. It was a hot day, so we did not walk faster than needed. We also needed to watch our steps so as to not slip. During the walk we admired the view over the lake, and noted the water activities including water skiing that took place down there. At GZ the cache was soon found, the log signed, and we on our way back to our car and its enticing air conditioning.
TFTC.
BOY I was determined to find this one. After the climb this old lady was all in.
Not to mention I had to get back. I must admit I did not always come down on my legs.
Oh well it was all good fun......Ithink.

Together with Spade52 I traveled for almost 6 weeks through Down Under Australia. We made our trip, using a Spaceship rental car, visiting the 5 most southern states of Australia, New South Wales, Victoria, Tasmania, South Australia and Australia Capital Territory. Spade52 was the navigator and I the driver. We mostly avoided the motorways and mainly used the coastal and local roads that led us through many small nice and rustic villages and sleeping towns. We stayed in motels, backpacker hostels and occasionally a campsite. Luckily the weather was very agreeable during our trip with nice temperatures and very little rain. We especially enjoyed the nature, the rain forest, the wilderness, the (for us) extraordinary indigenous flora and Australia's wildlife. On our trip we visited many geocaches. All CO's thanks for showing us many interesting locations and special spots.
Tonight we will stay in Narrandera. We will continue our journey to Canberra and Sydney tomorrow. After checking in at the motel we went for a stroll in order to see a little bit more of the surroundings of the village. On the way we found some geocaches. This geocache was easy to find. Very nice hide (a bit steep) at a quiet location.

I feel that the trees have grown a lot since the cache was place as you don't get much of a view of the lake from here. The cache is in good condition. SL TFTC
Today we explored Narrandera with geovan in tow using geocaching as a guide and picking up a few on the way and this was one of them. Had cache in hand after a quick walk up the hill.
Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache for our enjoyment.

From the bottom up it was a hard climb, maybe from the top the better option Need to use a stick for safety to retrieve cache. Victorians on their way home after a great 8 weeks on the road up north
Time was against us today and as consequence this was the only cache we found on our way north. We were however rewarded with lovely weather, a nice short walk and a great view at GZ. Thanks youngnils.
Found it without the help of Geodog Ace who was too busy sniffing around the place.
TFTC. We are camped at the Showgrounds. After driving today it was good to stretch the legs and find a cache or two. Not much water in the Lake but a hundred or more pelicans.
A quick overnight stop at the caravan park on a road trip from Newcastle to Adelaide with the family. Had a walk around the lake and a play in the awesome adventure playground with the geokids aged 3 and 1 before we hit the road. This cache was a quick find - nice view! Glad to do this in winter - these hiding spots are always a bit more snake friendly in summer TNLN TFTC
Camped nearby so this was our first of the day & a little exercise to get the heart pumping. Plus a little hunting to get the cache senses tuned. Oh, and the nice view. Thanks guys.
Great view of the lake as you walk along the trail. Have to come back another day when we have more time to complete the circuit. TFTC
Spent a long weekend in Narrandera, great weather, and walked the circuit along the Irrigation Channel across Rocky Waterholes Bridge and along the shore to grab this cache. TFTC

We stopped in the area for lunch in town, and looked for the nearest cache. This one looked good!, though the slippery when wet worried us a little as it has been wet for days. Not to worry though, with a little care it wasn't hard at all. Found quickly, and back on the road. Thanks for the distraction from driving, and such a nice place. Left a pathtag for the next finder to keep!
On a hot rod weekend we managed to slip out and do a bit of caching.

We had a fine day roaming around out west and finding caches.
We detoured here on the way north as it appeared on my unfound list.
I had forgotten the view here among the rocks, very nice..
