This is the third or fourth iteration of the cache, and it has again gone missing. Time for it to be retired.
Could not find it. But determined to return. Lovely park that’s mostly quiet but definitely don’t recommend night runs as per cache’s notes!
Found with friends tonight, was quite worried about the mentioned aggressive foxes but luckily we didn’t see any
Yoohoo! Back in AUS ... this time to celebrate Leap Day!

It's the nearest cache to my home and I've waited far too long to find it. It was worth, I wasn't aware of this nice garden in the hood, thanks

Caching buddies: Bella at Waggy
On his visit to Melbourne, I had insisted to go caching with b@w !
It was quite fun and a great learning experience too! He had found this one already but we still stopped to find it.. here I had to remind myself to look what's sitting under my nose (literally)
Coords were spot on

The kids went out for their first attempt and regrettably walked away after an hour without a find. Current score 0-1
Finally nabbed this one. No foxes today and my only find in three attempts today. TFTC
What a beautiful oasis in amongst the quaint houses. The cache was heathy when we found it.
Thank you maccamob for the placement and bringing us here.

Whilst searching other caches I stumbled across this one online, I couldn’t wait to do it.
A beautiful spot, unfortunately not enough time to fully enjoy the area today.
I had originally wondered if it had something to do with the Womens Peace Army, a piece of history I learnt about many years ago that has stuck with me.

The Women's Peace Army was established on 15 July 1915 at the offices of the Women's Political Association, in an attempt to mobilise the women in Australia who opposed all war, regardless of political party membership. It was to be a fighting body to destroy militarism 'with the same spirit of self-sacrifice that soldiers showed on the battlefield'. 'We war against war' was the motto of the Women's Peace Army. Their flag took the feminist colours of purple, green and white. The most well-known members were Vida Goldstein, president, Cecilia John and Adela Pankhurst. With autonomous branches in Sydney and Brisbane, the Women's Peace Army projected a radical, militant image with its socialist anti-war ideology and attracted large numbers to its sometimes controversial public meetings. Other tactics included participation in peace demonstrations, support for peace candidates at elections, petitions to members of parliament and practical help to those disadvantaged by war. It participated in the anti-conscription campaigns of 1916 and 1917. With the end of the Great War, the Women's Peace Army went into recess on 18 December 1919.

I had another attempt at this one tonight but there are aggressive foxes out and about again; tonight I encountered two of them. No luck again...
For safety reasons, I would recommend something in the cache description regarding foxes. I'll have another attempt at this one during daylight hours

After much searching and starting to smell good good from the herbs looked st some posts and applied some caching thinking. Rewarded for my efforts, great park.
It's really heartbreaking to have to log a DNF after such a productive late-night caching run. I searched until I nearly was attacked by a fox...I'm guessing I was near her pups. My first DNF of the evening
Cycling in Melburne with Chouette, this cache bring us at a very nice place. It's quiet in the morning, so an easy found...TFC

A beautiful park! Thanks so much for bringing me here!
Had a little muggle kid watching me while I pulled this out, but she was more interested in playing peek-a-boo over the bushes than looking at what I was doing XD

I was here today for a wedding rehearsal, which I found a little boring, and then checked the app, and there was a cache 30 metres away!
No one noticed as I ducked over to GZ, where the cache was a quick find.
It’s lovely here, thanks for placing this cache!

When these were first published on a long weekend I had a few solved straight away but I didn't bother coming for FTF hunts because I was basically too lazy and i had to pay tolls to get here. I then finalised a few more at a puzzle solving event as well so at least we had a fair few to go and search for.
Today on the bikes Fleabag- and I cruised around for nearly 3 hours and met a couple of other teams along the way. Longest search was probably a couple of minutes at one of the caches, otherwise no DNF's and we also picked up 3 I hadn't solved just by guessing where they would be based on the hints. Love it when that happens. We also picked up a few trads that were along the way.
We then headed back to Mega HQ for some lunch and headed off.
Thanks maccamob for the cache, the adventure, the hunt and the fun.

Parkville Mega 2018
Out today (Day 3 - Sunday) with Crank1, Everlasting and Kangas11 for the Mega event weekend at Parkville. Thanks for the cache and bringing us to here to beautiful place.
Today Spiffy- and I met up at the mega and decided it was time to collect a few solved puzzles of which Spiffy- had done the bulk of the heavy lifting for. Sunny but no issue for the stealth bikes. A few random meet ups too with the mega bringing others out fir the hunt. This trad was en route amd wss in a nice area. Made a quick find. Thanks to maccamob for placing this cache.
Catching up on some logging from my previous trip. Enjoyed the bike ride here.
Thanks heaps to maccamob for placing and maintaining Flower Power V2. Glad to grab an unplanned cache today. I added my name to the log and replaced where I found it.

After visiting family in SA i decided i would pop over to Melbourne for the MEGA event. I had an ebike for 5 days and did so much sightseeing in between looking for caches. I have been trying to log cache finds ever since. Teamed up with SKVR and Kyzabra and rode about 30 km picking up lots of caches en route. This was a quick easy find on one of the many enjoyable days at the mega. Thanks for the cache maccamob
I was over here for the Parkville MEGA with Brisal5, Anymules and Bushfire.
This was an epic trip, of 12 days and 10 nights.
Enjoyed the trail and many sights.

Day 4 of our epic 12 day / 10 night trek to the Parkville Mega in Melbourne.
The constant was my travel companions for the entire trip, - Anymules and S.A. Sewer Rats but we were joined by almost local cacher Bushfire once in Melbourne. So to save space in the logs we usually just wrote our initials BABS to save space.
Time to test out the bikes we brought with us and ride the Moonee Ponds creek trail. Then it was of to the Bowls event and then off for a walk around the area. We were joined by our new friend the delightful winged _kat. [8)]
We still had the old coords loaded but luckily winger_kat was able to advise that it had been moved. So adjusting our location to elsewhere we soon made the find.

The Melbourne Mega has been and gone so now the hardest part for me is to log all these great caches that we have found over the past six days. We have had six days of full on caching which started with a few high D/T caches in Ballarat using kayaks, ladders, etc the assault started last Wednesday 14th November 18 but not without a few mishaps that included a tree fall, a number of bike mishaps and numerous bloodletting. Some of us look like the walking wounded but you just have to keep soldering on as there is always another cache to be found. I also have to include the stiff legs from all the kilometres walked.
Most logs were signed BABS which stands for brisal5, AnyMules, Bushfire and S.A Sewer Rats to save space in all the log books. This will a generic log owing to the huge number of caches to be logged so I would like to thank all cache owners for the time and effort it takes to place these caches and also for the maintenance of the said caches.
Again thanks to all the cache owners that helped to make the 2018 Melbourne Mega the great success that it was, so now to look forward to St. Arnaud next year where you will be blown away with the quality of the hides.
Save up your favourite points as you will use heaps in this area.
After the event we went for a long walk in the area and this guy was one that we passed.

I had no real plan for today, other than to head in towards the city with my bike and grab a few more of the Parkville series. The meandered along the bike paths, was very enjoyable but I have a very sore backside and knees, by the end of the day. It was also good to run into a few other caching teams along the way.
After making a DNF at the last set of co-ords, realised the co-ords had been changed. This was an interesting find today in a lovely park area but I made it much harder, than I needed to.
Thanks maccamob for placing the cache for us to find and doing the maintenance to keep it in play.

A nice cache find during the nearby event (with the help of a nearby muggle who was enjoying the peace and quiet of the park!)
After attending the Barefoot bowling event, Bunadoorian and I decided to head off for a walk around the area. Having had a discussion with Aussie Fun Seakers and Little Blue Wren about this cache - we thought we would go and try and find it. Well it really was a team effort - all four of us played our own little parts in finding and signing this log. Thank you maccamob for the updated co-ordinates and for giving me such a great serene spot to find my 200th cache.
Found this one to be missing when we came before the Event.
So after speaking to the CO at the event and found it had been replaced
we decided to go back before heading to the motel.
One muggle was near GZ but she new about the cache.
Little blue wren made a quick find signed cache then had grub62 and bunadoorin arrived after a chat we then moved to do another one nearby.
Thanks for the cache maccamob.

We’re in Melbourne for the Parkville Event this weekend and after attending the pre event Barefoot Bowls evening we set out to do a few caches within easy walking distance of the bowling club. This was the first. We ended up in a delightful hidden park in the midst of lots of town houses.
Found after rechecking the cache and seeing it had moved.
Thanks for the cache maccamob.

Find #7503
Being not too far from the location of the Friday night event I decided to go after this one and ran into a few other cachers on the same mission. There was one muggle present but fortunately she was already aware of the cache so we were able to search and it was quickly found. TFTC
Checked a few suspicious spots but could not find. Might have to come back another time.
Long search . Found a pile of rocks that look like they’ve been displaced , not sure if this was the hide, as compass settles to zero every time
We headed down to the big smoke to tackle some of the Parkville hides we had worked so hard to solve and help out with a maintenance run - not that many of them needed anything.
We jumped on the bikes and headed off on the trail - they sure made it easy.
We found this one in the open but have left it better hidden. I suspect muggles have found it. What a lovely spot though.
Thanks for a terrific weekend maccamob

The last few week we have been working with a few like minded people working through all of the Parkville Puzzles and with today being a free day Ausfox; and myself decided to make the journey up and grab a few to turn the hard work into smileys.
What was meant to be an easy and relaxing day turned into a massive amount of walking. Luckily it was tame terrain for the most of it with load of kilometers covered for our finds.
Between finding mysteries this little guy was sitting there just asking to be found. On approach to GZ I was thinking it was going to be a bust as there was a large group of people having a party in the park. Lucky for me they were just out of sight of where I needed to be.
Thank you maccamob for placing this one for another smiley

A beautiful blue sky meant that I just had to get the bike out again and hit some of the bike paths to collect the Parkville Puzzles that I have solved.
I decided to take a break from the Parkville Puzzles to find this wonderfully located cache. TNLN. TFTC.
