I just realise why the name - sometimes it takes a little time for things to sink in.
Had a couple of goes to find the 'new' cache - no joy, although a dead bird in the search area tended to shorten the search time.
Any cache here is likely to either find its way to the Pacific (if there is another big storm) or be left stranded way back from the beach (if there isn't).

We found the spot where it would have been but like the other geos think it has gone . We had heaps of stuff with us so we decided to reset it. The clue is the same but the co-ordinates are different S29' 47.037 E153' 17.690. Hope thats ok.
the cache was well back from the water, but it looks as though the power of the sea has won out.
i will be down this way in the next month and will have a look for a new spot.

I'm sorry to say that I'm 99% sure that this cache got swept out to sea in the May storm earlier in the year. Minnie back beach is one of my favorite spots, and I enjoyed going to both of the cache locations (when there were caches to be found) but my GPS had the new cache spot about 4 m on the sea side of the present vegetation line. The cache was in good company - the marker showing a marine park boundary nearby also has disappeared.
No luck on this one while hunting with the Herbz and Holminators. Lovely spot but see Herbz log re details of hunt. TFTC almost
8 pairs of eyes looking for this one today but no joy. We poked in the obvious places around the tree but came up empty handed. The dunes have eroded to within 2m of the tree and there is evidence of high tides right up to the tree, so we're thinking it may have washed away.
Lovely spot to visit so we were not too dissapointed not to find it.

Had a look for this one while on a round trip to Boggabri. Had a good look but The only items that stood out in the clue were either a long way into the dune which should not be disturbed or was on the bank of sand that has been washed away by high seas. TFTH Diesel48
Found while camping at Wooli. Tide was at its peak and the waves were washing very high, nearly to the dunes. Found easily once we navigated the pools of water on the beach. Tftc.
Found it ! while holidaying at Wooli with the crew and family.

We found the cache quite by mistake as we were all looking for interesting items in the high tide line for our son's "SURVIVOR" school project. Dad made the find of a bucket- to our surprise a GEOCACHE. It was really exciting and great fun for the whole family. Thanks Sid Nee

incredible to return to this cache site again - you realise how dynamic the coastal zone is. Dropped by to place a lovely geo-coin and take John the Policeman
Certainly this is no longer a terrain difficulty of 2 !

Very windy day and the tide was going out. Thanks for bringing us to this place. Travelled from Sation Creek-where we are camping now.
No pen in cache. Beach erosion is about 2 meters from the cache location.

These waters looked normal sized to me [:o)]
A very nice spot for a stroll along the beach to find a cache
Another storm tide has hit the area and this time the cache did only just survive [:o]
I found it sitting at the top of a six foot high cliff of sand still protected by the sturdy tree now living on the edge
I'm sure the sands will build up again over winter and return the beach to it's former state
TFTC and visit to a larger than life location. I took the diabetes awareness TB and left John the Policeman to STOP the tides.

Found it after a brief stroll. Lovely beach. Unfortunately (stupidly) I forgot to take a pen so have registered my find with a stamp in the log book. It said 'Keep Going'. Found it with Max who was doing some work in the area. Took nothing. Left blue ring.
It was very nice to be back at Minnie and have effectively a new cache to find. Must have been quite a storm/tide!
I dropped off a TB but didn't bring a pen/pencil, will need to log another time.

A beautiful morning. I had the beach to myself. An easy find for my 50th cache. T4TC sid knee. TNLNSL.

cache has gone and a new one replaced nearby. new co-ords are S29'47.034 E153'17'696
Despite a thorough search we couldn't locate this one. Could all of the recent rain and very high tides had any effect on GZ?

Another memory filled visit for mrs bloopy who spent a few holidays here and ran amok on the gz beach. One of the best places to visit on the North Coast and fantastic today with no-one else around. Always great to have a beach to yourself. Left Roze Beertje TB to enjoy a seaside holiday. Took nothing.
Found on a lovely weekend out from Yamba. We had to inspect a few rock pools, whilst waiting for the drunken fishermen and co, to depart. Found easily enough, and placed more cover on it on our departure as it was a bit visible.
Thanks for this cache.

Found this one on the way to Coffs. Nice little out of the way place with some great views. Found easily.
Took Mini-Me TB, will add to it and move it along
edit: Postcards from OZ TB was not in the cache that I could see...perhaps someone took it and is still travelling or forgot to log it?
