Have looked for this one on several occasions, but no luck - having seen a couple of other logs to the same effect - perhaps it needs checking? Maybe muggle activity in such a public place has disturbed it?
Started the day with a discouraging run of no-finds. Looked for quite a while, our cache-blindness an obvious hindrance.
Possibly didn't look hard enough for this one...

Found by geogirl junior who was suitably impressed. We did have to wait a bit for all to be clear, but perhaps the fact that it was a Monday helped. I can imagine there would be heaps of muggles around on the weekend. What a great park with an excellent playground (and for geoboy senior too who suffers from Peter Pan Syndrome!) I'm going to be in strife for this log!

Got it. The place is right in the middle of the park so watch out for muggles from all directions. TFTC
Hard find in a nearly empty garden. Fortunately the little bit of shrubbery we moved helped us to locate the cache. we had the park to ourselves today which made foraging through the garden that much easier.
Looks like the area has been cleaned up by workers. Possibly why this seems to be missing. Looked in other bushes closer to the building but only found a large pair of bolt cutters. Decided not to touch these - who knows what they were used for!! Anyway, thanks for showing us this lovely park.
Looked for this one for a bit but nothing that looks like it around, unless its buried pretty well?
Needs checking.

Yes. It is amazing that it is still there. The colour of the lid give it away for me. Easy find. Muggles think I was taking photos with a digital camera. There are none the wiser. TN/LN
hmm surprised that this one is still there, given its colour and location.
Whilst i did follow the GPS to GZ, i then discounted the fact that a cache could be hidden there, and reverted to the PDA to make sure i wasnt looking for something that wasn there. Shortly after, i realised that a further 2 steps would have saved me the PDA exercise. Found @ ~14:00 after doing some work at the hpsital across the road, afterall this is a work trip, not a caching trip...
Found whilst on the way to pt augusta for work.

Sure was a lot easier on my second try - not a muggle in sight!
Left tortoise, took Go Kitty Go! TB.
Thanks snowone.

Great spot, been here many times before
Youngest Cheerful Ronnie (who is also the smallest) has been here many a time for Science Week.
Last year he ran right past this spot during a game of hide and go seek. Probably wasn't there though
A bit wet so spruced it up a bit
Took Sharpner Left Santa Toy
Thanks

After finding "Lost Ones" this was a walk in the park [:o)] and a very easy find.

Turned up to find half of the Primary School population of Pt Pirie was in the park.
I could see the likely spot for the cache, but decided there were too many mini-muggle eyes around to risk it.

First find of the day. Took toy robot and manicure set Left 2 sharpeners and little note book from snowtown roadhouse. Thanks!
This became our number 200 after a DNF at the nearby, aptly named, Lost Ones. A nice stroll in the well kept parks. TNLNSL. Nice spot for a cache, Snowone. Stanleys
Took a few minutes to find but nice spot, spent many a day at the Picnic and I dont suggest trying to find the cache during the Picnic....
A nice find on a nice day....
Was a little moist on the insdie but wiped clean and ensured that the lid was on tight.
Cheers

Found with no trouble at all. Excellent spot to spot for lunch even if it was 41C. The co-ordinates were spot on.
Found at second try with help from visitors to Pt Pirie.
They found it quite easily , I was last to find. Tricky little spot.

After a bit of looking found the suprisingly colorful cache. Amazing it wasn't more obvious but somehow it was quite difficult to see. A wedding party of muggles had just departed as we arrived. TNLN
Couldn't find it, Think I had the right spot, but to many muggles around to get on hands and knees for a better look. Next time I'm in Pirie I'll have another go.
An FTF for J & J in Mr J's home town. The smelters picnic was originally always held at Crystal Brook, and has only been held in Pirie for the last decade or so. It is unusual because it is an unofficial public holiday for most of Port Pirie. Memorial Park was as beautiful as ever, but very quiet this morning, nothing like picnic day. TNLNSL. Picked up TB Griffon Vulture. Thanks snowone.
