Great hiding spot. Took a while to find it but like the others have mentioned, you don't need to leave the path.First time finding a cache like this, thanks for the fun find
Omg that took me too long because I was trying to keep hands clean, nup I have filthy hands and a found cache I was also worried about spiders hiding around lol. Thanks for the great search.
Im grateful that this location made it easy to act like I was just waiting for the bus, and thankfully there wasnt one scheduled for at least an hour so I didnt have to worry about one pulling up. There are some pretty flowers in the bushes on the walk up, but unfortunately thats about all I found today. The hint unfortunately didnt help me and I spent ages searching all around the area, but the cache alluded me. I bet its something hidden in plain sight, and was sitting there laughing at me the entire time, but this one truly stumped me. Perhaps Ill be back to look again sometime soon
Nice one shifter. Very exposed spot, I am sure I surprised a few passing cars as I was on my knees with my rear end facing the traffic while looking for this one!! It was a relief when I finally got the sucker.
Very overgrown...didn't find, although a bus stopped...driver wasn't too pleased when i waved him on
Geez really tricky, love the find really cheeky hiding spot!!!TFTC shifter brains!!!!
Completely looked like a psycho in the bushes until we realised where it ACTUALLY was haha, was going to leave something but its a nano find. This is our first find!
It was just that one more before the trip home and of course same colour in quickly fading light, thanks SB
It is hard to be discrete in such an exposed area. Also, it is overgrown. Be prepared to look deranged whilst battling with the bushes lol
Happy New Year! First cache for 2023! Been coming to the cenny coast for years so about time this one was done! Thank you shifter brains : )
Found on a lovely sunny afternoon. We were initially misled by the satellite image, and trusting the GPS and the "distance to ground zero" estimate would have gotten us closer! Managed to find it anyway. Tip for others: no need to go off the path.
I've been wanting to look for this one since before the roadworks began, but figured it would be retired for good once the area became inaccessible. I was very keen to find it after I saw it had been relocated just down the road.
Found it today with the help of my sister Laimelde who broadened our search area after initially going a bit off track.
Thanks!

The hint was good and narrowed down potential hiding places. Didn't take too long to find. TFTC
We have been eyeing this one off for months, trying to figure out parking and the way around the fireworks. When we saw that it was disabled we were disappointed but not surprised.
After seeing the re-enable log we went for a quick drive by and determined that traffic may be an issue, so decided to search at a later hour.
We still had to dodge the muggles a bit but at least it wasn't a steady stream and GZ even provided a plausible reason to hang around.
A relatively quick find in the end, though the new log confused us as we have never had to unwrap one before.
Thanks for the Cache, now time for us to get the third in the series.

Roadworks are still going on in the area so we are currently unable to replace the cache. When they are completed the cache will be replaced.
Road work is still progressing. Cache will be replaced./relocated when area is accessible again.
Cache is inaccessible and has been for a little while. We will move e to a new location when the area is clearer of roadworks.
This may be a while based on the length of time they have been working so far.

Roadworks here I think has made this inaccessible and may need maintenance
Now that we are coming out of lockdown this cache is now available to find.
Thank you for your patience and to all of you who have been vaccinated.

To help stop the spread of COVID-19, the NSW Government has ordered everybody to STAY AT HOME unless you are: shopping for essentials, receiving medical care, exercising or travelling to work or education.
While some people would regard geocaching as a form of exercise, we feel that this activity is NON-ESSENTIAL, perhaps involving unnecessary travel and therefore should not be undertaken during this time of crisis.
Who knows how long this current lockdown will last! Right now, every one of us has an important part to play in helping to keep our families, friends and the wider community safe in the fight against the spread of COVID-19, by STAYING HOME. Unfortunately, the situation is not improving and there have been an increase in the number of finds on our caches.
As a result of the health authority’s directive, we have decided to disable this cache and respectfully request that you do not seek out and claim a find whilst this cache is disabled. If you do log a find it WILL be DELETED.
Thank you for your cooperation. We look forward to bringing our caches back into play after the restrictions are lifter.

Probs looked very dodge and lots of farmers friends but found it with the help of another adelaide butt pirate!
Good hiding spot. But very overgrown! Probably was nicer before the roadworks
Not a very enjoyable find as the road has been redone - Looks like there was a foot path before to make it much more accessible but now there is so much shrubbery that it was was hard to get through. Be prepared to come out with a few scratches
Today I headed up to the Wyong racecourse for the annual Central Coast Amateur (HAM) Radio Field Day. And after a fun filled day of HAM radio activities it was now time to head back to Sydney, but I couldn’t resist grabbing a few caches before leaving the Wyong area. This was the 7th of 7 finds, and 1 DNF, for the afternoon.
Well things must have changed here since the Google satellite images were taken, as the easy parking I saw when researching the cache at home was no where to be seen on my arrival, replaced with major roadworks and concrete barriers running along the side of the road. Ended up turning around at the next street and coming back and parking on the opposite side of the road in the works area, which was deserted today being a Sunday. Dashed across the road and along behind the concrete barriers to GZ for a nice quick find. TNLNSL, and then replaced as found.
And with my caching time now at an end it was time for me to hop back onto the Motorway and head back home to Sydney. TFTC Shifter Brains.

Find No: 7888. Headed out this morning with shaneo58 & Yella Belly, met up with Kathy from Mighty Minions & BillHill531 at Holgate, picked this tricky one up along the way, thanks for the cache Shifter Brains!!
Picked up Grub Fred and shanoe58 and did this on our way to the Central Coast to meet up with others to do GC35HHW cache. Thanks Shifter Brains for the cache.
We needed to get out and get some sun and a break from packing to move house today, so finally got to tick this one off the list. Coords are spot on, nice quick find with Ccarpy. TFTC!
Roadworks and heavy traffic prevented us from stopping for this one, we'll be back another day
Well it is still there and in great nick. Coordinates are good. The sign is long gone.
OK so what's happened to the sign???
I was up on the Central Coast for a function, seem to be here every couple of days lately, and decided this was the cache for today as it wasn't too far off the M1.
I parked in Ourimbah Street as no sign was visible and I was expecting one. Checked the GPS, not far, so I walked down. Getting across the Pacific Highway was a bit tricky and I would assume almost impossible at certain times.
Followed the GPS and using the hint made a quick find.

Fist geocache ever! A bit hard but after the hint and a little digging we got it!

12/6/17. 7:36 AM. Cache #5101.
1st of 5 finds (& 1 DNF) this morning - Lisarow, Ourimbah, Mardi & Tuggerah.
I was just going to go caching up Tuggerah way this morning, but then thought I'd look for some on the way up, starting with "Bark in the Park", which unfortunately was a DNF. A short drive around the corner and then crossed the road to this one.
I checked the hint and then made my way under cover and out of sight from the muggles driving by. There were a couple of options that matched the hint and I was OK on the second one I checked. SL, replaced, then made my way further north with another detour on "The Way To Tranquility". TFTC.

Took the hep kids to kiddy hawk in Gosford and done a few caches on the way home, on Arrival I had a idea where this cache would be located and there it was nicely hidden, tftc
A nice quick find after detouring through Gosford for lunch on our way home to the mid north coast. Hope to come back for a visit one day to spend a lot more time caching in the area.
Thanks for placing this cache.
Thanks for placing this cache.
I've driven past here so many times I've lost count, but today I finally remembered to stop and check out the Gateway. I spied a strange spring-loaded device that I first thought might have been the cache, but then I saw another one, and in the end located the more mundane container.
Many thanks for another good hide.

Cruising past and thought hey there has to be a cache there and guess what there was. Tftc left trackable
Easy park and grab. Loved that the overgrown shielded us from both sides of traffic. TFTC
