Looks like the time has come to say goodbye. (sorry that might be a bit premature in view of time since last warning- I only saw the first warning and somehow missed the second one.) However considering the owner has not visited the Geocaching site for 3 years I think it can safely be assumed that no further action is likely. Enormous potential for another cache in this area, so the sooner it is free for others to use the better!
The cache appears to be in need of owner intervention. I'm temporarily disabling it, to give the owner an opportunity to check on the cache, and take whatever action is necessary. Please respond to this situation in a timely manner (i.e., within 21 days) to prevent the cache from being archived for non-responsiveness.
Had a go at this a few weeks ago with no luck so though I'd have another shot but came up empty handed. It looks like the cache has gone walk-abouts.
Given the number of DNF's, I think a visit from the cache owner is probably in order.
Hunted about until the rain got a bit to persistent. Found two likely spots according to the hints but no cache.
Had a good hunt around. Found a couple of likely hidey holes matching the clue, but no joy for me today.
We located the exact spot where this should be hidden, however it was not located. We did find an empty 2 litre container with 2 blue click clack handles some distance above the water tower. We suspect that this container may have been the geocache and has been removed. Beautiful views on a beautiful day! You can't beat Wellington on a good day!
The failure to find was most likely because I forgot to take the page with me with the clue! Lovely spot though and the significance of the title is clear when you get there. Walked right to the top on my way to do the Piwakawaka cache and at the lookout there were some muggles enjoying fish and chips. The muggles sprung me as a geocacher but that was OK because it turned out they were friends of a cacher and sometimes went out caching with him (if you are wondering how fish and chips got there still warm enough to eat - as I was- they had bought them from down below, driven to the bottom on the Khandallah side and walked up!)
I would definitely NOT attempt this in a wheelchair!- there is a gate at the bottom with a side track not suitable for them. Not to mention the steepness of the track (if using a manual wheelchair )and the terrain at the actual GZ. As I have frequently pushed wheelchairs elsewhere (on safer territory) I was imagining what it would be like to push one up here - no thanks!
Looking forward to having another try with the clue, and on a not too windy day. Must bring my camera too for the great view!

It wasn't at all windy here today. The storm that was supposed to last for 48 hours disappeared well before then. This is a neat little track.
Got this one before continuing on to Pikawakawa Ramble, weather changed as we were on our way back, finally a cache big enough to drop the travel bug I've had for a week. Thanks for the cache. - donkey + bouncy ball + spintop + shower gel
Perfect day for a walk, and a fantastic hiding spot. Easy enough to get to once I figured out how to get there. Thanks very much!
Yes, certainly was windy waters this evening, but great night views of the city. An easy find in the dark once I found the right track in.

yes true to name...cool view..it was tsunami warning day so the water was choppy as....
Took a friend for her first geocaching adventure just on sunset. Stunning views. t4tc
A quick find after finding the entrance to the track at the top of the hill, TFTC.
Sure is windy today, plenty of white caps on the water. And apparently the forecast for the rest of summer is for more of the same. So much for a warm and calm summer. TFTC easy find
Found while visiting Wellington from the Bay of Plenty - loved the views on a clear day, in the company of our Wellington rellies. Out TB, in Starbugs TB. TFTC.
Little bit of a climb to the top, but the views were spectacular.. The little path is very overgrown, but found it.. The final co-ords were a little bit out, but eventually after using the hint the location became obvious.. Thanks for the cache...
Found as part of my three week caching trip from Wellington to Auckland - # 115. Found towards the end of day three. Thanks.
The view from here is lovely, even got a glimpse of the snow on the Kaikouras. Though it is not such a nice place to be with a cold southerly blowing

Our first cache!
Great extra clues because we are yet to buy a GPS unit and so were looking blindly! We walked up and down both sides before spotting the concrete stairs. Well hidden and a thouroughly enjoyed outing!

Third cache of the day.
Stopped by on this nice Wellington day, windy = nice this time of year!
Cache in hand relatively quickly.
A quick walk up the hill and back. Great views of Wellington, especially from by the trig station.

Went for a walk after work and found cache, home before dark. Very windy up here today, gusts to 120Kph. I often come this way when out running, will have a smirk on my face from now on knowing whats hidden near by. TNLN
Wow what a great view. Would not have come here if not for Geo caching. Must come back to take photos on dusk. Great views of the city. TFTC TNLNSL
Very quick find... mainly because the hidey hole is fast crumbling away so it was almost in plain view... I suggest a rethink in the near future!
Good find. Took travelbug TEFCK4. Don't yet know where it will be placed....somewhere in Wgtn, sometime soon....
Odd spot this cache is hidden in. The nearby lookout is well worth the trip. A number of objects from the cache were lying close by? I wander if the last finders came at night? Cheers.
Took a little to find access to path - we could spot it but took a while to find way in. Kids loved it. TFTC

Found this cache while out walking with a friend and his dog. Lovely views of the harbour. Interesting trigpoint at the top (certainly different from those in the UK).
Nice sroll up the hill. Fumbled around abit here looking, finally got it, Fantastic views, left the camera in the van!
Thanks for the placement, we really enjoyed this one!

Nice views of the harbour. We saw a ferry while walking up to the cache. What a windy day today. The tree next to the cache was swaying a bit and on the way down, we could hardy walk because of the strong wind ! Appropriate name for this cache . TNLN. TFTC!
Good views. Not terribly windy today ... but in the mist.

Approach from Odell Reserve, and was nearly blown off my feet my strong wind gusts. Aptly named!
Last of three on an afternoon's geocaching walk with Mrs agcnz in the area. Took a while to find, the fixes I was getting weren't very good but found it in the end about 20 metres north of where the GPSr was telling me it should have been. A great view from the top! TNLN - signed log as agc062. Thanks for the cache!
Found on the way to work. Funnily enough it's windier in the city than on the hill.
Path is very overgrown.

Great cache!
Looked in the wrong place thanks to the free hint for a while, I even thought it might have been muggled!
Found it in the end, happily.
Not sure if I put it back right, might be more visible now.
Took American Cent, Left Shoelace thingy.

0paco0, Red and their two dogs found this cache - it is their 100th!
Today, the Windy Waters fell from the sky as well!
Spectacular views between the patches of heavy rain.
Red commented this was only marginally better than sitting inside by a warm fire reading a good book.

Found it finally after walking around in circles for quite a while because so many streets have no exit so it was hard to find access to the cache. But awesome view.
