A quick find whilst shopping in Brookside. Last few days in OZ so grabbing the last few caches whilst I can. TFTC.
After reading the logs we managed to find it. There are a few less spider webs at the moment
Found after a short search. Could use some of the spider webs being removed though.

Mrs Us was coming to Brisbane for a Parrot Conference & surprised Mr Us with tickets on the Friday, so what was I to do with some spare time in Brisbane? Cache of course - this was the first of a bit of a numbers run for Mr Us on a lovely Autumn Brisbane day & was the closest to where the Parrot Conference was held!
Nice easy find to start with & they have done a lovely job with the gardens here.

Quick find on a Easter Sunday afternoon. What a lovely walk and nice areas to sit. TFTC and bringing us here.

805 - Our second visit to this estate was more productive than our first visit to try to find this cache just over a year ago in failing light. Found after a few minutes of searching and waiting for some walker muggles to pass. The cache is still in good condition and in a good hiding spot. Thanks wingaap.
Found it but didn't have my pen at the time. Will come back later to sign the log. I think I scared a muggle as I left the spot too. TFTC!
I had to wait a short while in the truck as i waited for some 'random' guy cleaning the benchtops down and sweeping the floor. Before long, he disappeared, so i zoned in on GZ and had the treasure in hand without too much trouble. As i made my way back toward the truck, old mate was returning to the gazebo with a bucket & mop Thanks wingaap
Despite a long search (the brush turkeys offered no assistance either) I was unsuccessful today. Will have to try again soon.
Quiet when I visited but, oh, the spider webs! *yuck* TFTC in this shining estate.
This was a surprise when you realise how close to the shopping centre you are TFTC
Got to GZ and decided that I needed to be somewhere else not very far away at all. The somewhere else that my GPS sent me was no good so I moved to another somewhere else not very far away either, where the cache was found. Thanks to wiigaap for the cache, but I am not at all sure what the lookout is for!
Find# 675
1st find for the day.
Took: Nothing / Left: Nothing
While the better half was shopping I ducked out to find this nearby cache. Unfortunately there was no writing implement to sign the logbook with, so have attached photo of the logbook as evidence of the find.
Thanks for the cache wingaap.

Quite tucked away this cache making it difficult to find. Finally found it after battling through the cobwebs. TFTC Nice area wouldn't of found this without caching.
I approached GZ with a sense of dread... so I had quick peek at the clue... and it turned out to be in the first place I looked... guess it happens sometimes
Log all nice and dry.
Thanks Wingers.

Found on the second attempt after our first was interrupted by a crazy muggle lady who approached us for a chat and proceeded to give us her entire credit report. We made an excuse to depart and headed off to do the nearby K9 cache, hoping she'd be gone when we returned. Fortunately she was.
Once again, Palopinto went straight to the cache. We signed it and replaced the plastic bag which was torn. There's a lot of rubbish down below but we couldn't do much about it without arousing the suspicion of some nearby muggles as we didn't have any bags to collect it in. Oops.
Sixth cache for the day. TFTC Wingaap!

I seem to be a crazy muggle magnet. Found with EngPhil and Miss Geosie after having to hang around for this lady's life story, then make excuses for ourselves and left. Returned and did the business. Nice hide, fun cache this one TFTC!
Found after second attempt, this time with geonanna to keep watch on all the pedestrians heading for Brookside.TFTC
Tried to find this one in the failing light but searched in a few places without success. We will be back. We noted a few hypodermic needles on the dirt below the structure so suggest groups with young children keep an eye on them in this area. TFTC wingaap.
Found at 1756 by Mr Simia but he wasn't too keen to get it out on his own with all the spiderwebs [xx(]

had a walk along the path from Brookside a couple of days ago and found the general area. Local across the road kept working on her letterbox for the time I was waiting. Went back tonight at about 8.00 with a Cold Rock and finally located it. Previous clues put me on the wrong corner.
On holiday from Devon, England, staying with son and family who are fellow cachers. Failed to find this one, though hint gave me an idea of where it should be, will try again when I go to Brookside next.
Knowing the area and how many Muggles are around we chose Sunday to go looking.
It was pretty muggle free and we soon found it. SL. TFTC.

In the fast fading light Mrs Coffee and I spent quite a bit of time looking for this elusive micro, hopefully we will have better luck next time
Caching in Brisbane while waiting for geohubby to finish in a conference. How many can I get going from closest to closest bouncing my way around the northern suburbs? 35, before boredom sunk in and I went back to a friends to eat icecream. TFTC
Geez, I must admit.. i couldnt find it and gave up after 15 mins... muggles does bothering me.
Next time..
thanks

Woooooooohooooooooo! This cache marks our 100th find. It has as much significance for us as it does for Wingaap since Dad and Mum Roac met here whilst studying at ACU.

Found on a walk this morning along the nearby tracks. Thanks for the cache, Andrew and Maryan.
After conducting the search in the area I arrived in, I quickly figured out that I needed to be elsewhere... Once I had relocated, the cache was a nice quick find. I was signing the log when a couple of muggles wanderred by, completely unaware of my presence... [^]
Seems A&M were here just before me today... I wonder how far ahead of me they were??? Found @ 1215.

Found after many restarts due to muggle avoidance. Lots of business men walking up the path in 2's and 3's -maybe developers? TFTC
Searched the area, but couldn't find the cache. Will return another day when the kids patience has been recharged.
Over here from Perth on a geocaching/visit-the-family holiday. Out today caching with Questing4. Pleasant walk up to a quick find. TFTC.
Wonder how many people actually use this BBQ. Bush turkey was having a good scratch around which is nice to see in the suburbs. Easy find. TFTH
didn't find this one this morning on a walk through 'redgum'. Now I've checked size and clue, should be easier on return.
Found by Jabiru230. Passed this one initially as there were a couple of muggles having morning tea in the area. Did Redgum but they were still there when I returned. Did some shopping and came back after lunch. All clear but it still took a while to find the prize.
Got this one on the way to work today, made me a little late, OOPs!
Good spot, i came from the shopping centre car park which made for a concealed approach.

Accompanied with Patox for the day. Nice view as well. SL. Thanks wingaap for organising the cache and hunt.
this one had me stumped... hmmm... and since I met up with Everlasting on the same day and she had no trouble finding it, I guess I just didn't look hard enough
at one point I had to look like I was contemplating something on the park bench close by because a couple of council workers walked by... grrr... I think it was council work day yesterday... the one day in the month that they all get out and do a hard days work... well, except for me... hehe I was geocaching... hehe
maybe next time... I'm putting this one in the "re-visit when I have a GPSr list for now !!"
beautiful area though

Fifth for the day. Easy find whilst dodging muggles on the path. Cache could do with some maintenance as attachment devices are coming loose. TFTC once again.
Found with Strong Arm and Tratty. TFTC.

695 It was hardly worth starting the truck to come from Redgum, but we did anyway. Wouldn't mind one of these houses actually - beats your look-alike estates. TFTC wingaap
Like 'posthaste' says, stand still and you are nearly invisible to muggles. Found this one pretty smartly. TN/LN/SL and headed off to 'Redgum'.
Plenty of muggles in the late afternoon (if you stay still they don't seem to notice you?!) and plenty of old spider webs too. No spiders thankfully TFTC
An easy find while doing some caching the healthy way - On the geocycle. Found the cache easily, but a muggle appeared out of nowhere and all of a sudden I developed a very intense interest in spiders... Muggle passed without showing any further interest!

I rediscovered yesterday that dead batteries aren't much use. Found cache today though, safe and sound. SL. Thanks wingaap.
Gee Wingaap - Brookside is a place that is mentioned as somewhere far far far away when you live over on the lighter side of Brisbane!!! Can't even say that I have been over at the shops there yet?! Maybe that could be a goal for me this year - won't be coming to find this cache though as MrMad found it on his gigantic run of caches when our mates from South Australia were over visiting. Thanks for yet another great cache Wingers - your generousity in placing caches is greatly appreciated.
Found on our 24 hour Caching run around Brisbane and the outer suburbs.
