As no one has found what should be an easy find it is about time this was either replaced or archived.
This one will teach me to check previous loge more carefully, not a sign of it, Might be time to archive it.
I have had a good look at the photo's and been to GZ but sorry to tell you this cache has gone. My GPS got me to the same spot as photo there are signs of distruction in the area
We thought this one would be easy, but failed to locate after an extensive search. Having now just looked at the pics, we might give it another go before we leave.
4 of us had a good hunt for this but could not find. Many lizards and crawly things here
On holidays for the week, we were planning on slowly driving back to Busselton, but have ended up staying :just 1 more day in Albany, it has changed alot since i lived here 12 years ago. There are some awesome views I had never seen before. TFTC
Pleasant before dinner outing, winds blowing very gustily though. Thanks.
Very impressed with the monument and enjoyed the views from the top. Great spot for a cache, thanks VK6JRC!
Thank you. Nice to go back to our great lookouts occassionally. It keeps reminding you of how great our little corner of the world is!!
Great little history lesson coupled with a great view over your lovely city..TFTC
A windy find. Nice walk (legs hurt now). Found with Wazza Cacher and whole crew of kids. Took toy snail and heel balm, left toy birdie and wheelies. TFTC.
TFTH! Found by my friend Shelley! Her first ever cache Took nothing , left a jemrock. No sign of the TB
Found on a trip through to Perth. A quick find at a quiet spot with good views over Albany. Thanks

Love this place. The view is amazing. Nice quick find. Thanks VK6JRC....Silky Seekers Brisbane...TNLN.
Picked Latimer cat - this mountain perch was a bit wet and scarey for him with all the rain and hail andf lightning!
wow how many steps! great view very popular track saw lots of muggles on it worth the walk thank for the experience discovered Latimere Cat
The view from the top was something to behold and whale spotting took our attention for some time as the seas were calm. Geo-Joey found the cache quickly when we got to GZ. TFTC
A quick, easy find on a very wet day in Albany. We saw enough through the rain to know that this is a place we will definitely be coming back to while staying here. A stunning ANZAC memorial too. Have made a note to check the internet for Joe Swallow as we didn't want to get any wetter than we already were by reading the poem. Thanks for a great hide in an amazing spot. SLTNLN [^]
We checked out both the memorial, and the view from the top, both are amazing. Today was forcast to be lots of rain, but this morning is blue skies from horizon to horizon. A short walk out of sight of the bus load of muggles at the top, and the cache was soon in hand.
Thanks, Robmc.
Thanks, Robmc.
This was a fantastic place to come to early this morning. We think bad weather is coming
late in the day but in the early morning sunshine views were to be had in all
directions. Met a few people on the way up including an old gent doing a routine up and down the stairs to the memorial.
Nice sized cache for up here
Thanks

Found at 11.35am GAFF1. We thought it was the "Matilda" guy, but no - it was the "Loaded Dog" guy!
Another magnificent view across the waters - even though it was stormy and overcast - we enjoyed the scenes.
Thanks VK6JRC

We parked at the car park and headed off to gz and were awestruck by the magnificent Anzac memorial that we passed on the way. This would have to be one of the best memorials that we have seen. We didn't realise that the first deployment of troops was from these waters. After spending a bit of time at the memorial we then headed off to gz where the cache was located quickly. We signed the log and headed back. We will be heading back home to dig out an old paper ten pound note to see who this person was
Thanks VK6JRC for the cache

A quick find after the long walk up the hill i wish i had of looked at the road map TFTH
Geo-daughter went on a hike with school yesterday and came home saying that this cache was out in the open on a rock next to where it had been hidden. She explained to the teacher what geocaching was all about and that the box ought to be hidden, but he insisted she leave it where they found it (fair enough I guess...). So we went out this morning and found it as she had said open on top of the rock. All seemed to be there so we just re-hid it. Hope all is well with it now
Not sure I get the title of this cache but I was happy to find it and enjoy the walk. TFTC
We walked up the steps and found our way round the trail to discover a couple other cachers in the area.

Reperio at 0800. On a good day for caching, this was a fantastic spot with fantastic views. After locating the cache, I followed the trail on a little further and enjoyed the walk before returning to the car.
Enjoyable cache.

This place is full of skinks - it was an unbelievable sight to see them all running around. And pretty funny as many tourists got freaked out!! Anyhoo, after the stair climb it was an easy cache. TFTH
I love caches that incorporate a bit of history. Great lookout and we came across bandicoots on the path up as well as countless big lizards (not sure if they were blue tongues or king skinks). As long as they have legs I'm happy. Thanks a bunch VK6JRC.
Bit of a workout up to the monument but after that it was an easy find. Worth it for the views. SL TNLN TFTC
What a fantastic spot. A lovely view and opportunity to reflect on those whose last sight of Australian soil was Albany. Thanks for the cache.
A steep climb to a great monument with a great view.

A relativley easy find after searching behind several large rocks and dodging the local King Skinks. Great views from up here. TFTC
Found this one without to much trouble, after finding out that the coordinates we were using (cgeo on HTC Desire) were off

What a great view. Found the cache without too much trouble. Just had to be a bit discrete with so many people site seeing, being a public holiday. Filled out the log book and left our mark in the way of a draft stone. TFTC.
Nice quick easy find after walking the granite trail. Exchanged nothing thanks for the cache
Didn't have too much difficulty finding this one, towards the end of our walk along the Granite Trail and up to the summit of Mt Clarence. Had to dodge some touristy muggles sun-baking on a rock nearby, but when the opportunity presented itself, the Canuck Juniors scoped the area and nailed the find - just as indicated, only a couple steps off the trail and behind a rock. Left the Canucks calling card (4 Spades), and did a few small swaps. This is an ideal cache for family visitors, and the views from the top of Mt Clarence are magnificent and well worth the trip (we could even spot some whales) - easily one of the best lookouts in Albany! Thanks for the cache!
Rated: for Overall Experience
found it 20 metres away from path and full to the top with water.
may be hard to find but is inbetween two big rocks and not hidden .

the lookout was unbelieveable today - no wind, not a cloud in the sky...albany at its finest! Good hide!
After having found mountain view 1 we went on to find this one, for a view from the other side of the mountain.
Once I had accomplished the 'hill' to get to the memorial, it was an easy set to then find the cache. TNLN TFTC
Perth 10.22. Not far past the lookout, this is a good place to check out the place. Thanks.

An inspiring memorial and great to know it is made from the original stone. The lone pine is also a moving monument to our past and future armed forces. Found the cache easily and helped a fellow newer cacher who was having a bit of difficulty. It was nice to meet you both. Love all the lizards around. Thanx for bringing us here.
Lots of muggles at the lookout but the cache is out of sight
Weird noise from the wind blowing through the mast

Whalewatchers and friend - sixth of seven for the day. Enjoyed a chat around the curved wall below the memorial and then off to find the cache. TFTC
Find # 19 at 16.30 with Robot 1 aka the-robots on a 41 cache, 48 hours and 1140 km round trip to Albany to cache.
A reasonably easy find once we climbed the stairs, walked past the muggles at the look out then grabbed the cache. By this time of the day those stairs were just a little painfull [:p]
