**This Cache:**This was a really great spot for a cache! We enjoyed the walk down using some intel from previous logs. The cave at the end of the track was incredible! We then made our way across the falls and around to the cache. Thankfully it was a relatively quick find, stump was the only hint we needed! Coordinates are jumpy so I would trust the hint more. The container was full of water unfortunately, but the logbook has survived due to it sitting right up the top near the lid, phew! The cache sits in a bit of a hole, it might be best if it was moved out of there so it doesnt fill up during rain. Thanks for the cache **Today:**Spending the day in Sydney with Googlehihihi! We spent most of the day focusing on several toughScarbrain caches around the Narrabeen bushland area. We also placed two new hides whilst exploring some cool rock formations! We continued to pick up a couple extra caches nearby before heading back to where I was staying for the night, not before stopping for two more caches on the way of course! Many thanks to GHHH and the COs for a great day out
Went to do some stuff today with the fabled loci612. This cache was pretty good. We used the coords and WP from the very generous KRS and made our way down. Oh cool cave! Crossed the river and made our way to GZ where after finding the cache we discovered it was full of water, however the log was dry! Emptied the water and left. TFTC

That is one big jump that Evel Knievel made. Would his motorcycle be somewhere in the bush?
As nice as the waterfall and rockpool look, the water is quite polluted. Not a spot for summer swimming!
Going down on one side, going down one level at the time, crossing the creek and then back up again. Everest High quickly found the cache using an older hint.
OCW Brewmaker, Martin Cousins and EverestHigh around Oxford Falls and Beacon Hill.

After admiring Evil Knieval"s jump location, we found the track to the pool and creek with the rope to get down a level coming in very handy. Finally at the bottom, we started crossing the creek, where we were hit by a wall. But with the GPS saying there was still 30m go and no way up.
Then EH used the hint and found it in a minute., still about 30m away from where the GPS was pointing. After signing, we made the journey across the creek then back up, using the rope pull to make the much easier.
Great location. TFTC

We used KRS coords from 2015 for the GZ, but accessing via the trail on the east side of the waterfall. A bit of water crossing the road ensures us a spectacular view of the falls from below.
Would be heart in your mouth if one was to make this jump, thanks for showing us knievels last hurrah.

That would have been one very large, very evil jump, from the road, across the waterfall, with a hard landing on the creek edge below. Still we hopped, skipped and jumped our way down to find the cache. OCW Brewmaker, Martin Cousins and It's Dozzie. TFTC antpadgem
Wooo first finders for 2 years. Got a bit confused by the track on the way down, but basically hook back to the left towards the waterfall after the ledge. Made our way across the creek and up towards the cache. Think the coords were about 30 meters out, which was a relief since it was in the intuitive place rather than having to climb the cliff. Cache a bit damp from a few cracks but in surprisingly good condition. Kids loved it thank you for sharing this awesome place, definitely worth a fav.
Can’t believe it was ten years ago that we first came here to seek the remnants of Evel Kneivel’s demise on 10 June 2010! Today was the day to get serious about this – about time, too!
We read all the past logs and came prepared with hiking boots and walking poles. The day was sunny, a bit chilly, windy up the top but nothing down the bottom, not too wet and not too dry. Perfect for geocaching and perfect for a waterfall. We made our way along the east side of the waterfall and came to a bit of a pause at the big rock with a drop of a little over a metre down. We did a reccy in a few directions and headed down over a fallen tree and then started to mark our path - just to make sure we could get back to the same place. A bandanna, a handkerchief, a discard sauce bottle and a walking pole were left along the way. At creekside we headed a little downstream to an easy crossing point and once across realised that we couldn’t easily make it back upstream all the way on this west side. So we found another place to cross east, upstream and little and then back to the west side to a little sandy stretch.
We’d had a good think about how far out Evel (or the disposers of his vehicle) might have made it across the valley and determined that not far from the cliff edge would do us. As we approached GZ, we kept our eyes peeled for the hint item. But this was hard because the waterfall was attracted our view. We also thought that we would use Kid Ron Satan’s coordinates from January 2015 (Evel and Satan – what a match!). Aha! That’s what we’re looking for. This must have been massive in its day and based on its current state that must have been a long time ago. Approaching with fingers crossed – Yay!! The container is here and everything in it is dry – pretty good after 17 months!
We were not able to locate Evel’s ride but we did find some debris that might be all that is left. We made our way back the way we came and left the discarded sauce bottle on a tree branch to assist other geocachers (See photo). Really excellent cache, antpadgem. And a favourite for us! SL TFTC Cheers… Gaztek

I would have liked to visit the cache. I was already down at the waterfall, unfortunately did not find the way to the cache. Here was just too many stones. From above (Aroona Road) I found no access.

Even with the recent DNF’s I wanted to visit these falls as I just love the sound of water
We took the suggested down the east but overshot the turn off, headed back to the huge cave, crossed the creek and started looking for the hint item.
I spotted something that look right and as previous poster mentioned another tree had collapsed nearby.
Geohubby lifted a large piece of trunk/bark and I rummaged underneath.....the cache was there !!!
It’s a little cracked and a bottle of blue food colouring has leaked inside but it definitely still here.
I replaced it in the base of the stump so no heavy lifting required now
This place is beautiful so we enjoyed our picnic lunch at the base of the falls before climbing out

Great Falls and locatiin. Got caught up in exploration of caves and the falls rather than the geocache. The track(s) down are tree strewn and all over the place.
Just as i got to the stream, my device sent me on a wild goose chase towards the falls, i had fun anyways. Will try again another day.

We found the big cave
We crossed streams
We found the bed (what was left of it)
We found the stump.
Unfortunately though the tree looks like it collapsed fairly recently so I fear the cache is lost.
Will notify the cache owner and see what they say.

Saw signs of some spiders so be careful we looked for an hour but left as it was starting to get dark..

Had contemplated doing this a few times. Even went as far as trying to find a park on Aroona Rd but it had been raining that day and it just looked too wet. Back today and after a false start, found the trail head on the east side of the falls. Followed the path easily and was surprised how quickly I was at the bottom. There was a fair bit of water flowing and got one shoe a bit wet on the way over. A hop, skip and a jump later I was setting up camp when I managed to save the cache from the fire. Got the other shoe a bit wet on the way back out.
I enjoyed the walk in and nice view of the waterfall. No way I'm jumping!

Not sure if we took the long and hard way down but what an effort. Perhaps approaching GZ from the left hand side of the falls (facing out) would be easier???
Beautiful falls to visit. Tftc

Great waterfall. A bit of a scramble to get down to the cache but not too difficult. TFTC
What a cache. Great location. Couple of leaches
Spoiler: Take the path to the east of the falls, cross he river at the bottom and make your way to the base of the falls find the big stump. It's not easy but a great location. Very wet when we went.

Oh wow! Such a good cache. Great spot! although it doesn't feel intuitive, enter via the east side, there is a good track and a pretty easy crossing. Watch out for the leeches!
Decided to tick this one off my list today. Probably best not to do with a sore foot. Not sure what I've done to it. Anyway made my way down on the left side of the falls. Tried to follow the non existent trail nothing more than some clear routes through the scrub. Found a couple of rocks to scamper down and zig zagged my way back to the bottom of the falls.
A massive cave was found then a visual search for the item mentioned in the clue.
Made my way along a rock ledge and crossed to the other side.
Past the rusty bed then the cache was soon in hand.
Great spot. Now just to get back up.
Thanks for the cache.

With my usual geocache adventure partner, the geo-son. away on an over-night birthday bash, I grabbed the geo-girls instead for a Saturday afternoon quest to locate two unfound caches off the Parkway. This was the first and following the previous logs soon had us at the bottom of the falls (although I wouldn't say there was a clear track anymore and some bush bashing and rock hopping is required).
Once down there we had almost zero reception so the girls stayed put whilst I roamed in an increasingly larger area until the prize was located. Funnily enough, there seems to be more tennis balls along the creek than at White City. Many thanks antpadgem

22/1/15. 3:49 PM. Cache #2194. Streak day #214. 2nd of 2 caches today. After finding "The Guvnor's Lookout", I took a brief detour to WP1 of "Maladies of Geocaching #2 - The Oasis"...however I decided to save GZ of that one for tomorrow, so I came here instead.
I missed seeing the detail about the track past the falls on the east side, so I parked on Aroona Rd (S 960 E 650) & followed the grass towards the cache. I soon ran out of track and had an almost impenetrable wall of bracken to bash through. This took ages, but I could get to within 20m of the cache. However, I had come out at the top of a cliff and there was no easy way round. The signal was sending me in circles, and at one point I stood on a bull ant nest and copped a couple of bites for my troubles. Finally I found a nice flat rock to sit and regather my thoughts. Reading past logs and the description better, I now had learnt that the track was east of the falls and that the coordinates were off quite a bit. So I had to bush bash back to the car, and then I drove down to just near where the water goes over the road, near the gate.
Now I was just above the falls at a useful trail head (S33° 44.013 E151° 14.715). I wish this had been provided with the cache! Now I had a track to follow, along and down to the creek. Past the cache even, but once at creek level, I crossed to the western side and rock hopped towards the base of the falls. Here I was near GZ but I had already seen from past logs that the coordinates were no good. Luckily I could see the dominant feature from the hint (what a whopper!) and so I scrambled NE to it, making an easy find of the cache once I was there. I took a reading and got these coordinates (S 978 E 714). Too exhausted to flip through past logs, I signed, put it all back and then headed back the way I'd come. (I didn't feel like trying out the falls climb back). When I got home, I was pleased to confirm that I was leech free. TFTC }:)

Great cache. Followed the path in then climbed the waterfall to get back out. I wouldn't recommend that route for beginner climbers, but we found it fun.
I liked this one! We followed the clues not the GPS and it was easy enough especially once we found knievel's things. TFTC
Climb down/up more challenging than the cache but still worth it although GPS says 25m away when standing on top of it!
Wow my gps took me on a rather wild and risky goose chase before I looked at the older logs and realised I had walked past it three times while still on a reasonable track. TFTC (it was an adventure)
The vk2df family headed down to Oxford Falls today, on a hot Sunday afternoon, to have a go at this one.
These falls are very familiar to me as I spent many weekends as a teenager jumping off them. This was one of my favorite abseiling & SRT cliffs back in the early 1980's. But those days are now long gone so it was a slightly slower decent to the bottom, for todays visit, taking the track rather than the rope.
Once at the base of the falls it was a quick accent to GZ, on the opposite side of the creek, where a likely hiding spot was spied. A quick inspection and it was soon CIH. Took the Blue Klogs TB and left a toy sheriff's star.
Thanks antpadgem for the memorable location, and for the cache.

Being in the area for drop off it was about time we completed this one so headed over with half an hour to spare.Had a look over the cliff and thought about going down but then spotted the track to the right which took us mist of the way to the creek below. We then headed back to the base of the falls to see what the sat lock was like (not good). We spotted Evel's hospital bed and then a likely spot for the hide to make a quick find. We thought about our options for getting back to the top and went for a free climb up the cliff at the east side of the falls. (probably not for everyone unless your name is Evel) TFTC
Found this one this afternoon whilst out on the calendar gap and DT rating cache hunt which brought me down to Oxford Falls.
As CJ is away, I did this one solo. Today the weather was cooler for a cache hunt. The trail access on the eastern side was a little over grown. Looks like this trail isn't used too much, especially managed to walk through every spider web on the trail. finding the GZ required some bush bashing and fending off leeches after the rain last night. The cache is in good condition and the log is dry. I signed and replaced the it exactly as I found it.
Anyway, it was a fun to get out caching and find this in bushland close to home. Thanks antpadgem for your cache. SL TNLN TFTC

After finding 'Navigator's Nightmare' we were in need of another cache, maybe something with less quaint terrain. This cache was not too far away and the d/t rating looked promising.
We enjoyed the descend towards the creek and then did some scrambling around. After a while we regrouped and read several logs... and we realised that we were sitting just several meters away from GZ Had CIH in no-time. Thanks!

I tried to approach from the street on the western side - no luck! Then I tried to find a trail down the western side of the falls = nothing there that looked survivable! So I headed over to the other side where I found a trail that descended nicely. I lost it somewhere however and had to head further north and double back up the creek bed. It was worth the effort though as I found a lovely place at the bottom of the falls which is in the attached image. That place is worth a favourite. The cache was about 15 metres from there, my GPSr said I was still 25m from GZ when I found the cache. But this sort of terrain can play havoc with the GPSr. Someone had has a camp fire in GZ but the cache is unharmed and in fine condition, they must have moved it during the fire.

Must have spent about an hour looking around the GZ but had no luck at finding anything like the original photo or clue. Who knows. May try another time when back in the area.
Late Saturday afternoon we decided to try to find this - had always wondered where the falls at Oxford Falls actually were and now we know.
The last 100m is hard going and the children were not too happy about that - but we got there and found the cache easily. Everything is intact with dry logs.

Still not sure if I was following a rough trail or bush-bashing for most of this one but got there in the end! Lovely spot - especially after a bit of rain. TFTC
Just like everyone else, took the track to far and had to come back up the creek. Got to about a meter from the cache but could not the tell tale bike. Went back to the falls and had a chat with some friendly abseilers who pointed out the more direct track back and advised of the. Diamond python on the way.
Read a few logs and found that the bike is no longer there. Read the hint a saw my mistake. Quick commando back to where I was before an cache in hand.
Back to the car and thank god for aircon.

What a trip. Did this today in the pissing down rain. Missed the turn off on the track and ended up about 200m down stream. I decided to trek up stream jumping from rocks and wading through the water. I had my dog with me and we had a good time. Beautiful view at the base of the waterfall then soon found the clue which I couldn't of done without. GPS at GZ was reading 30m out so be weary. Good luck
Thank goodness for Rainbow Spirit's co-ordinates (see log below). Even so, it took me a while.
I took the eastern track as instructed well past GZ, then it doubled back eventually to a large cave at the base of the falls. Here I could cross the creek. But once on the western side of the creek I couldn't see how to get 50m south to the GZ. Short story is that I took a few wrong tracks and did some Bear Grylls style climbing and jumping and got to the GZ and the cache.
I returned the easier way: from cache on western side of the creek north to the base of the falls, over the creek, up to the big cave, then south on the rough track up the hill until it doubled back to the north.

I had been past this a few times but always been a bit unsure how to approach it, or the weather wasn't being kind with wet bush. Today seemed like a good day to make the attempt, so I found a track on the east side that doubled back half way down and brought me near the base of the falls. After reading other logs I realised I needed to make my way across which was easier a bit downstream for the falls. The GPS doesn't like it in the bottom of the valley but after looking around for a while I spotted a likely hiding spot and there it was.
Had a bit of trouble finding the track back out until I was about halfway up, but from there it was pretty straightforward to get back to the car. Thanks antpadgem.

After sinking in mud, prowed by a bush turkey, cut my sticks and thorns and popping along algae covered rock we found the cache in the hollowed out tree stump at the base of the waterfall. Good hide
Had been past this causeway so many times but never stopped before. Today I parked and headed in over the gate and across the rocks to enjoy the view from the top of the falls. No easy way down so I looked for the track to the east. Well there was a track but it seemed like it was made for hobbits as I was bent double a lot of the time and copped the odd stick in the eye. Eventually it dropped down into the valley and after a couple of jumps I found myself at the creek. There was no real sign of a track from here so I more or less followed the creek for a bit then jumped across and found a faint trail.
Got to the base of the waterfall and then read the last log - my GPSr was saying 55m to go but the logs led me to believe otherwise. Found the hint object, you couldn't miss it, and made a quick find. The bike is long gone though. Grabbed a GC and left a TB after signing the log. My GPSr was reading 36 metres at this point so all is not well with the sats here.
I'd like to say I enjoyed this cache but jumping down a rock on the way back I hit my elbow very hard and let's just say I'm glad there were no children nearby! I struggled to find the track back up but used the track on my GPSr to get me there.
Thanks! (I think...)

Found on a beautiful spring Sunday. This one had been on the radar for a while. Found the path easily enough and very glad that it was mentioned in the description, I don't think bashing down here would be very pleasant. Path takes one slightly away from the cache and reached the river about 110m from GZ (after being about 80m at the top) Worked my way back to falls which I stopped and admired for a while before starting my search. Luckily I read the hint as GPS showed 30m off when I found a likely spot which turned out to be correct (The item in the hint is of a decent size and hard to miss) Sl and left a TB . I think the bike remnants are long gone looking back at other logs but very cool story anyway. TFTC.
Thanks to previous cachers who reported gps being 30m out! No sign of bike. Tftc
Took the eastern track down and across and went as far as I could without climbing. Searched for a bit with no luck and stopped to think about where the hint could mean. Hmm, I was leaning on it. Good to find all in order. TFTC

WHERE WAS THE MOTORBIKE? [?] We couldn't see it anywhere. We went a huge, complete long way around, then realised that the route abseilers took was WAY quicker. The people before us had put the cache back badly, so it was kinda obvious. we found bits of metal that might have been from a car, but no motorbike. anyway, it was a good cache.
As this was Evel Knieval's last jump, this was our last cache for the day. The trek down was harder than expected, as we took the longer path. When you see a rock ledge in a mini clearing of the trees to your left and the path looks like it's going kinda the wrong way, take this little path.
Anyhow we took the longer path while I was complaining about the distance going way up, and took the crossing (where geo boy got a little soaked AGAIN ) and then there was no obvious path at all. We had to bush bash a little, take mini twisting paths, before heading back a little etc. We were prety confused as the GPS said 50 metres up the cliff at water level. We scrambled up some rocks and foliage and around and about, again threw away the GPS and started looking for the hint. Didn't see a motorbike. Thank goodness for it because though this was an easy find the GPS said over 30m away at GZ.
And the adventure wasn't over yet. [B)] The trip back still awaited us.
As we knew where the paths were we thought the way back would be a lot easier. We were going to go back the convoluted and annoying route we came in but spotted another route across the falls with a (looking like) path at the end.
After crossing (geo boy got wet here too ) we saw what awaited us. It looked a lot harder from close up. And it sure was.
It had been raining so the moss covered rocks were wet and slimy, and any foliage to hold on to had been washed away. We scrambled up the rocks and got to a ledge where the top was about the same distance out as the bottom, with a dip in between. We were forced to walk along this holding on to slimy mossy rocks. Geo mum, Woovakoova and I got up okay but geo boy had a bit more trouble. Geo dad stayed down to try and help him but finally geo mum figured out a slightly easier route up which both geo dad and boy took.
From here it was a simple-ish walk up (we were joined by some people who were abseiling Oxford Falls).
Thanks for the adventure. But if I did it again I wouldn't take the routes I took.

awasome reason to return to the place we used to abseil as teenagers so long ago TFTC SL took a ninja and left 3D glasses.
We were a bit daunted by the depth of the drop down to the base of the falls, until we found the east side track, then it was only a short walk and a scramble to the crossing.
Once on the other side I asked Satanas666 where the GPSr was pointing, "What, up there!" Read the logs, "Oh, in there!" The above coords were taken at GZ by us today.

Was a bit worried I wouldn't find it when I was heading down on what appeared to be the wrong side of the creek but it all worked out when I got to the bottom. Aside from a little scrambling about it was a relatively easy find. THTC as I hadn't ever seen the falls before. I have driven over the top of them lots but never actually seen them
After I got to the bottom, my gps was insisting it was up on the west side. After a brief contemplation about scaling the cliff, re-read the description, threw my gps into the pool, and found it quite quickly

Getting stuck into caching again, after something of a hiatus of late.
2nd find for the afternoon - a postie bike was parked near the bridge when I pulled up, so I hoped to spring another cacher on the hunt, but the rider was down at the falls reading a book instead.
We used to abseil the falls as Venturers a good decade ago - I haven't been down here much since.
The water was flowing fairly well after the recent rain - I ummed and aahed about my way over, then decided wet feet were the answer and simply walked across at the base. Squelch...
Easy find once at GZ - left an otter and a platypus, they like it down here too.
Got back to the top of the trail around the same time as the rider - had a brief chat, she'd heard about caching before, and had a bit of a chuckle at the name too. Nice coincidence
Cheers!

After reading some of the previous logs was expecting a bit of a hike and long search but after a quick walk down from top of falls it was a really quick find. Tftc
A great cache on fathers day. Had gone to the big cave earlier this tear but as it had rained recently could not cross. GPS was playing up and was 35 metres off target. Luckily we found it almost straight away. TFTC
Such a trek! But good fun on a nice hot end of winters day with Athompson and DanBarton. TFTC
Found and found with clan_ Fraser! Loved it, great walk, good fun, GZ us a lovely place! TFTC
What a great spot! Have passed by many times on bikes of various types, but wow its a long way down from the top of the falls! Track was good, just enough of a challenge with the mossy rocks, and thanks to the clue I ended up with an easy find. That has to be the biggest stump I've seen in a while. Thanks antpadgem - gets a favourite point from the glenferns!
1022 - 6 for today. Found on 10/04/11 2:58 PM
Took the recommended track on the east side of the falls. Followed this overgrown track and found myself too far away from the falls, backtracked and found a way down to the creek. Eventually found a way to cross the creek without getting wet, then continued on to GZ. Thanks for the hint, found the cache and as others pointed out it is 25 metres out. After bush bashing in, I was hoping I could find my way back out before it starts to rain. Good, found my way out and as I got to the road the rain started to come down, perfect timing. Thanks for the adventure, be prepared for a rough trip, oh and looks like I picked up a leech, didn't know until I got home and noticed the blood. TNSLLN

Made the mistake of trying to get this from the nearest road. After a lot of wading through ferns and lantana over 2m high, got to where the GPS said it would be but found nothing. Read logs to realise there was a better way and the coords could be a bit off. Found the track, but still couldn't find a way to where I think it would be. Will be back when it's a bit drier and the creek is lower. Thanks for the adventure.
Found it after bush bashing for quite a while (fell down a hole while I was at it, nothing broken - just a big bruise). The GPS had the GZ 30m away at the top of a cliff (we were at the bottom trying to work out how to get up there). Took the TBs.
It was interesting to get below the falls. Would not have found without the hint - gps was sending me 30mtrs away. tftc
I think the bike had been washed down from its origial place, as it was covered in junk and in an awkward position.
Good spot

Thought we'd try this cache after a DNF at Blue Hole but our bush hunting skills were just not sharp enough today and we never got to GZ. We thought we were on a winner once we got down to the creek and worked our way back upstream but never found the Evel Knievel relic we expected and were always just off from the coordinates with no clear track to where we thought we wanted to head. Then we climbed down from closer to the top of the falls but there didn't seem to be any clear way further downstream and no relic in sight. Have a feeling we were pretty close but definitely no cigar today. The falls were running and very nice. We'll be back. Cheers.........Gaztek
Hard! Fun! Found it!
Now's just a matter of finding our way back ...

Second attempt at this one, and what can I say besides EPIC FAIL. Sure we found it (we being athompson and myself), but we took possibly the longest time possible to do so. We took the good ole go-straight-to-GZ-irrespective-of-obstacles approach, bashing through extremely dense and prickly bush and picking up a few leeches on the way. It was only after we had spent an hour and a half scrounging around that we decided we couldn't possibly get further down (which was where the GPS was telling us to go) so we bash our way back, defeated and very dirty. However as we sat upon the rocks near the waterfall and pondered why we had failed, we noted that some people mentioned bringing geokiddies along... geokiddies in that sort of bush-bashing? Impossible, we thought! Thus we concluded that we must have approached it incorrectly... Soon after we rethought the whole thing and discovered a much easier way to approach it, and within 15 or so minutes the cache was in hand. Much well deserved too, even if the effort was in vain. A celebratory photo or two later, log signing, and we were on our way back to civilisation after almost 3 hours in the bush. TNLNSL. TFTC!
As mentioned by 'Joshua.Hamey' this was our second attempt at locating this cache and it began with as much fail as the previous trip. We set out bashing our way down through the bush on what ended up being the wrong side of the creek. This resulted in a wasted hour and a half (plus), numerous scratches (foolish me wearing shorts), many leeches, and slips and slides towards certain peril. After eventually realising that we could go no further (and were not sure we should because of conflicting coordinates) we decided to return to higher ground, that took another 20 minutes, several wrong turns and a few more leeches. After reaching the top and taking a much needed rest at the top of the waterfall we realised that a previous visitor had taken their kids on the adventure to this one. Thinking that no sensible parent would put their children through what we had just been through we scanned the area and noticed a path down the other side of the cliff that we had not seen before. Not sure where it would take us we apprehensively followed it. This was the first thing we had done right all day, following the path down and the river back up and along we soon reached the waterfall, the bike, and GZ.Our prize was located very soon after this. A (much deserved) victory shot of my partner was taken clinging to GZ (I was simply too exhausted to have my own). Returned to civilisation and a late Maccas lunch. I still love geocaching just as much
I have to note now that the listed coordinates place it much further up the cliff. We were a lot more successful with S33 43.983 E151 14.722. Thanks to WheelerBeez for those coordinates.

This was my 2nd attempt at this one and was pleased to be bringing along geonephew and geodog for their first caches. Both dog and boy thoroughly enjoyed the experience and it was certainly easier than my last attempt at this one. No swaps today and thanks for a great adventure
this is actually my 2nd visit to this one, got a tip from a friend after spending a previous afternoon roaming around in the scrub. the coordinates seemed to be 30m-ish off
What a great one this is! Wanted to find it as we used to ride bikes before Geokids came along! (ahh Moto Guzzi!) Took about an hour round trip as we went in all sorts of directions to try and find it. Crossing the creek was fun, slid around and acquired many scrapes and bruises on the rocks. However, we found the cache from the clues not the co-ords. Having found the bike we knew we were close but GPS was 120ft out - be warned and read other logs first. Great trip, much enjoyed TN left UK1p as usual. Earned our long blacks today TFTC!!!

Damn, Should have better noted previous coordinates. Took the long way around and neded up at recorded GZ. Still way too high up the cliff. I used to play here some 20 years ago and knew there was no way down to the site I could see below me.
Night was fast approaching and I had just finished Stephen King's "Duma Key" the previous evening. There was no way I was going down there in the dark.
Thanks all the same for the adventure, I used to love this place.

I havent been down there in over 20 years, it was good to take the geokids there.
Left a bouncy ball and took nothing.
Agree the location is a little out, closer to S33 43.983 E151 14.722

Fantastic spot, I was on my Moter Scooter and thought how apropreat, had one look at the cliff and almost changed my mind.
I am glad i did not. Almost gave up when I got down there too dut thought I did not want to have to climbe back down for another attempt. I have some good photoes that I will down load when I get a chance.

Yeah finally got to the bottom. Holy Cow... That is a great walk down.
The hardest part about doing this cache is getting down and then figuring how to get a cross without getting your feet wet.
Coords for final GZ were a little out. I had better luch with:
S 33° 43.981
E 151° 14.717
Took Yoda Left Calculator.

Last time I was here nearly a year ago a thunder storm and a rapidly rising creek prevented us from making it to GZ (that and a very angry geo-wife).
Great spot for a cache found the bike first then onto the cache.

After a lot of bush bashing, GPS said I was only 1 metre away and still couldn't find it. Might take another look sometime soon.
Hasn't been found for a while so I thought I'd take a look - All is good - I even fixed up the old motor bike. PS while you are down there check out the big cave
Got down to the motorbike OK, couldn't get a strong enough GPS signal from there. Maybe going down at night wasn't the best plan...
Thanks to bringing me down to the falls.
Took some nice images after the bushbashing and some cliff jumping to get there...
Found first the bike and then the cache.
The hint is straightforward I think it was no. 5 or 6...

DNF Nice waterfall, looked up above the cliff bush bashing for about an hour couldn't find it! The clue did not seem to help either! maybe GPS was out... or cache is gone...
Looked down the bottom and found the bike and handlebars though the GPS kept telling us it was at the top of the cliff so after finding the other nearby cache we went to look at the top, no luck however we had fun down the bottom.
Took it on our second attempt after not approaching from the top level. Left TB Harrods Beefeater and took TB Intel Guy.
We'd been down here some time before looking for another nearby cache when the satellite gods weren't cooperating. However, i'm sure that Mr Knieval's bike was laying down half buried in the sand, today its wedged upright amongst some trees & rocks. Is it trying to get back for one last jump?
Anyway, stumbled onto the cache by sheer dumb luck - the satellites weren't much help.

Left Intel Guy TB
PS - this spot seems to be a graveyard of long lost tennis, golf & every oyher type of balls imaginable...

The waterfall was in fine form today with a torrent of water cascading down from above making a thunderous sound that echoed in the valley. The python (Diamond) that the Wandering Wilkos found did not bat an eye lid because it was dead and it’s a bit smelly now, very big snake.

It took us a while to figure how to get down to this one and we still don't know if we ended up taking the best route. A newly fallen tree was blocking the path we took.
Nearly put my hand on a 2 meter python hanging in one of the trees down near the creek. Poor Geodad nearly had a heart attack. Snake didn't even bat an eyelid and was still in the same position on the way back.
Easy find with the clue but my GPS was a fair way off so without it, the cache would have been a tough find.
