Easy find on my way home to South Australia after visiting beautiful Western Australia. Thank you.
After going through the border checkpoint, we pulled over and found this one. It was unmissable really!!.
After loosing our remaining potatoes and onions at the border we made our first find for WA. TFTC. Collected a path tag and back in the road to Eucla.
Day 4 of our trip to WA to attend WAGB and touristy stuff and finding caches in LGA's we haven't previously cached in.Unless otherwise noted, cache is in good condition.TFTC SL TB's visited
Found with Nibletricecakes, KrispyStrips and k8tybee on our Road to Esperance trip. A quick find. TFTC.
Find number 13672 at 11:29:07AM on Monday the 26 August 2024We're on our way to WA Goes Big, travelling from Croydon (Melbourne, Victoria) with a caravan in tow and making a leasurely caching holiday across the Nullarbor and back. After spending last night at Koonaldra Homestead we headed west again in the morning, not sure how far we'll get today, just driving, caching and golfing A quick find of a nice large cache container **Thanks for placing this cache jim@chris**---*WOW, so much happening here in Victoria*Dont forget to log your will attend for Victorias first ever Block Party in March 2025, the [**The Sunbury Event**](https://coord.info/GCAP417).Theres also all those lists of amazing geocaches at [Geocaching Victorias List webpage]( https://geocachingvictoria.com.au/information/great-caching-lists), go check them out.
My last geocache find for WA before heading back to Victoria. A quick find and a good excuse to stretch the legs after driving from Norseman. TFTC
This was fun as I went thru WA quarantine to log a few caches, and then drove back into SA In the morning Ill have to submit to another quarantine check (of my snack stash).A quick find after scooting into the scrub TFTC jim@chris
2480 - Just before sunset this evening, I decided to go out and grab one or more of the three caches that were located within a couple of hundred metres of the Border Village. This is the first one I headed to, after I checked out the closed and partly renovated Border Crossing sign. I found a bit of a trail and lots of rubbish on the way to the cache, which was an easy find, in good condition at 4:59pm ACWST. Thanks for placing this cache here Jim@Chris.
What a fantastic hide. We decided this was a great spot to drop our trackable we have been carrying around the country for a while.
Lettuce we've discovered, is not a good vegetable to prepare for border crossings.. You can't cook it or freeze it and as much as it's great to eat you can't devour a whole head. So after a visit to the border bin [sigh] we stopped to find the cache. This cache has the best hide. After carefully replacing everything and driving 500m down the road I realised the notebook I was holding was the log, not mine. [sigh again] So back I went on a 500m run through the scrub and replaced the log. And another 500m run back. I was hoping there wasn't another cache up the road.. caching is exhausting! TFTC jim@chris.
After passing through quarantine with no problems, we decided to stop just up the road a couple of hundred metres to come and find this one before we continue our drive West. Lovely to find the container in great condition and such a large one as well. Thanks jim@chris Domsky
Making our way home to the SW of WA after attending The Great Leap Forward Mega event in Adelaide. Grabbing caches here and there along the Highway as we go, if there is room for car and van.Last night we camped a few kms east of Nullarbor Roadhouse, we were later joined by two wizzbangers and a truck, and apparently a few other trucks that I didnt hear pull up , didnt hear them leave either and they would have been less than 50m from us, oops I slept well .Woohoo we passed quarantine and now back in our beautiful state of WA. We were even good and vacuumed car and van floors and left all the seed heads, prickles etc in SA .Brought the car and van to GZ for the standard photo, didnt do it in the way east as we had left Norseman at 5am in a police and later DFES escort through the fires between Balladonia and Caiguna abt a month ago so checking in at Border Village and letting Mr dimor sleep was more important.A quick find and off we go.TFTC
#810 ~ After trekking through the scrub, as I parked too far from GZ (hint: stop before the Form 1 Lane sign unless you have a caravan then youll probably want to stop after it), I soon happened upon the good sized cache. Nearly got taken away by the flies but I signed the log and left TB Bunny Bug to continue his journey. Safe travels little bunny. TFTC jim@chris!!
After spending a few days in Gawler it was time for to drive my mums (well my car now) from Gawler back to Perth. This was day two travelling from Streaky Bay to Border Village on a 5 day 3,100km adventure. It was very bleak and cold morning 13c bult felt like 5 in Ceduna and the temp did get somewhat better later in the day. Did not have a jumper as i left Perth in a heatwave and arrived to one in SA. .Ended up buying a jumper at Ceduna. Now for a contrast the day before ranged between 36 and 45!!!And there are hundreds of signs saying do not drive tired so geocaching helped with that. The weather did eventually turn out nice for a while and i arrived at the border village and it was damp and cold at about 8pm and was greeted with the fact that i had just gained 2hrs and 30 mins. I checked into my room and then headed out and grabbed the caches and a nice little stroll after a very long day due to geocaching in between driving. However i illegally crossed the border from SA to WA without going through quarantine check in fact i made a big detour around to get to this cache hahaha. This cache was a very quick find. Thanks for the cache jim@chris.
Quick find after the obligatory checkpoint search. great size cache is always nice to see. Tftc
Easy find for West bound travellers. Bit more difficult to get to if East bound without quite a walk.
I do like a nice easy find of a reasonable size - and so cool to see last finder also a kiwi

TFTC and yay I now have been to WA and got my last Australian souvenir. Have have spent 3 nights camping along the Nullarbor and absolutely loved it. I’m visiting from the Hunter Valley in NSW
Time for a post border wait fuel stop! Like everyone else we are heading west it seems! TFTC and the fun! Seems we’ve covered a lot of km since I was here!
Found with Shumba7 on our way to Exmouth for the eclipse. Just lost our fishing worms at the border crossing
TFTC found with Algae on a road trip to see the solar eclipse in Exmouth. We lost our fishing worms at the quarantine border post. Didn’t realise you couldn’t bring fishing worms into WA. Also playing the longest golf course in the world in the way up
On a big road trip to Perth - Brim, Paruna, Murray Town, Kooma View Farmhouse, Penong, Nullarbor Roadhouse, Mundrabilla Roadhouse, Caiguna Roadhouse, Norseman, Kalgoorlie and Wave Rock. Today we are exploring the Bunda Cliffs as we head to our next stop at Mundrabilla Roadhouse, picking up some caches along the way. Once we had our fridges and everything checked at the border we then turned off the Highway to find a suitable spot to park the Goe4WD and camper trailer before wandering up the side of the highway then inland to GZ. After the GPS initially had us going around in circles we spotted the quite large cache. Why did it take us so long to spot this sizable cache? TF placing this cache at the border and we picked up the TB.
We're heading west to view the total solar eclipse in Exmouth in April and we couldn't resist stopping here to grab this cache and the Western Australia souvenir since this is our first W.A. cache!
Thanks for find #4391

On our roadtrip from Sydney to Perth. Bro imthamaninthebox and I flew over to Sydney to drive over to WA with 82yo ma n pa....managed to snag a few sneaky caches along the way.
Nice overnight stay at Border Village... I did not know there was a Central Australia Time...huh!! Great stay and loved that there was a couple of caches to find before we headed west again!
Love the effort to get as many zeros as possible...well done, Fave point added! ???? Have to add that I did feel like a Mexican sneaking across the border and avoiding the checkpoint to get to this from the Roadhouse ??
Thank you jim@chris for placing and maintaining Border-Line for us and others to find and enjoy!

Cool to stand one foot in each state. Great job in putting a cache here. Made it through the border with no hassles. TFTC
This cache was a classic, a cache in a tourist location, large enough for plenty of logs and swaps and easy to find. Not bad, Tftc
Couldn’t miss this one! Found on our way back to Melbourne after visiting Perth. TFTC
Heading East on my jetski delivery run to Perth.
Didn't stop here on my way over, apart from the quarantine stop anyway.
Nice quick find lurking in the shrubbery near the border
Thanks for the cache Jim@Chris.

TFTC Jim@chris, great hide! Found with Jimmytherat on our W.A. road trip odyssey from Melbourne. Last leg week five. Terrific placement so gets a well deserved favourite
At last, a well thought out geocache instead of the crappy mint containers that have spread like noxious weeds.
This has been our last WA geocache since entering the state coming from the Northern Territory on our big lap.
We left our home on the Gold Coast in February this year, geocaches through NSW, ACT, VIC, SA, NT.
Only another three months before we arrive home.
Thank you for the cache.

We are on the road travelling up through central Australian and down the coast of WA. Geocaching has taken us to so many great places in this beautiful country. I was happy to grab a few caches along the way and this was one of them.
Had to pull over and take a walk into find this but sadly it is the last for WA this trip. A quick find and stamp, at GZ.
Thanks jim@chris for placing this cache and doing the maintenance, so we can enjoy finding it.

[;P] Nice to discover our 1st cache into WA was a nice largest one. All would appear to be in place , signed and replaced . Thanks jim@chis
I noticed this cache as I drove into SA from WA, but it was on the far side, so kept driving. Found several near the border and then headed to my accommodation in Border Village. I then decided to walk back to WA and the cache 500 metres away. They didn't stop me at the border and ask to see into my backpack . Cache was easily spotted as it was in full view. Great condition. I tried to cover it a bit better before I walked back to SA. TFTC jim@chris.
A bit on a wander through the bush after a bit of rain last night, is my kind heaven . I love the smell of wet earth and various greenery.
A quick find, sign, replace and off to find my next cache in WA on my trip to the goldfields.
TFTC jim@chris

A nice cache, physically exposed but very much hidden. Thank you! Added a lot of goodies.
After dealing with the grumpy quarantine station chaps barking at us, it was time for some caching. This was a quick and easy find on the W.A side of the border.
Spent quite awhile here sorting out our G2G passes on our return to WA with a trailer full of Rowing boats used at the Nationals cop in Nagambie, Vic.
Quick dodgy find running off into the bush after entering our State.
