Well the page says it was archived yesterday but it was still there today and we found it! A nice soggy walk out to this one, the cache was still in place. Has this one been archived by accident?
Thanks Detourism for the cache. If the cache is to be archived, I'd suggest popping out and grabbing it so it doesn't just become rubbish.

We watched the pelicans flying over the lake here for a bit, a lovely relaxing spot. I can't quite remember the 1980's TV ads but we found the cache with no trouble. Thanks for bringing us out here
Fairly easy find. Will leave new pencil next time and perhaps new log book?? Was where I expected it to be.
Found on a lovely rainy day. Very good hide. TNLN TFTC. The pencil is blunt also the log is nearly out of pages.
Nice spot. Easy find. Tried to find the very nearby ZERO cache from Geocahing Australia with no luck. TFTC
Found 14:10. What a lovely spot for a walk or a picnic. I have had a boat on the lake for 5 years, but due to this being the shallow side of the lake, never taken much interest over here. Still plenty of other caches around the lake to find, and I am seeing it from the shore. A different perspective altogether. TNLN. Enjoyed the view Thanks.
Pleasant walk along the foreshore to this one. Pleasanter walk back along the kindly provided roadway!
TNLN. Pencil needs a sharpen.

I was amazed to see the pelicans perching on top of the poles here! Had a nice walk down to the cache and an easy find. Cheers Gav [3262]
Found with the kiwi team on our great Australian caching tour.
Very enjoyable little walk and a nice scenic spot. History of the area is very interesting, thanks for the explanation.

Team GPS.org.nz Cache Raid: Wonderfully calm on the estuary, just watching the eddies twirl around as the tide goes out. T4TC, M@
A lovely little spot indeed, though getting there was a case of much sloshing after all the recent rain. Thanks for a top spot.
My 1st find for the day as I made my way further north for work purposes.
I parked quite close to GZ but was a little surprised when I had to remove the shoes and socks to cross the rising channel.
Thankfully an easy find, I was greeted by a large family of serenading Magpies before logging my find. Once the log process was done I wasted no time getting back across so I could get the shoes back on and make my way to work. As I tied my laces I noticed an Eastern Curlew flying just overhead I followed him back to the car as he stayed a couple of paces ahead of me.
Interesting spot here! A good spot for a cache, it's a shame the weather wasn't a little better. Thanks for bringing me here.TNLN

We had lunch nearby and were given the good oil on how to walk to GZ by Don, a local who rode past on his bike. Crawled around a bit and found the hide. No room for the TB we had with us. Thanks Detourism - love your motto, we always take a long time to get anywhere!l
Great spot for a walk and a picnic. Who cares about the cheese! Wheres the wine? Not a muggle in sight and it was lunch time saturday on a beautiful spring day.
Wow what a great view and walk.
We where chasing our little geo-daughter everywhere trying to catch her. She loved the puddles and the mud. hahaha
We made it to the end and my geo-wife found her third for the day. She is so lucky... Im just jealous..hahaha
Thanks for the great cache.
It was fun fun fun.

Top spot! Top marks also for an innovative container. Prospective searchers need to choose their attack route carefully, especially at high tide (as I found)!

489 Without the notes you provided this would just have been a little island. Your notes made this special little place much more interesting. Still wondering why the name. Thanks Detourism
Took the long walk with littlest 'C' in the pram, and 3yr old 'C' jumping in puddles. Found the cache quite quickly. Nice spot. Seems to be a popular place to fish.
Took: Bouncy ball (which for once DIDN'T result in Daddy 'C' chasing after it and gashing his leg)
Left: Carabina keyring

Took the long way round to avoid the swamp but think it was worth it!! Easy find thereafter. TNLN.
This one took a few minutes - first for the muggles to move and then to make the find - good one. Took the digifish - first of these that we have seen.
nice walk
did not know this was here
would perhaps be a good site for a barbie
took a little looking
but as per the instructions - twisted not pulled

It has been a long time since I was out in this area and I couldn't remember the unusual structure being there, but it is still a beautiful place. TNLN TFTC
This was our fourth and last find of the day. Nice walk out to GZ and having known the area rather well we knew where to park so not to have to trek through the shallow swamplands as others did. Nice easy find but well hidden and only had a few muggles fishing to contend with but they were not interested in us for the slightest. TNLN, TFTC.

Found at 1650. Not knowing the area we parked about 200 mts away and had to walk through shallow water and mangrove to reach GZ - it was a very pleasant way to do it though! Not a sole around at GZ so were able to investigate thoroughly and it was not long to discover and log the find.
First day of Geocaching with sister & brother-in-law. Easy to find what's the cheese?
Looked all around the platform but couldn't find it,But lucky Mr.Hepworth found it.Thanks!!
Great spot. Had to take the hard way to get to it...bit of swamp and mud bashing. TFTC TNLN
Good family cache. we came from the end car park so we had to cross some shallow water to get to cache site. The kids enjoyed this route best.

An overcast Saturday, few people around. An easy find. Cache was empty bar the log book so i signed and left a green bear badge. Do others know there is another cache very close by named "Zero"? It is not listed on this site but is listed here http://geocaching.com.au. Nice day to grab both.
The original cache has gone missing. It is now back in a different form to try and avoid the constant problems with it getting wet (most likely from big tides)
TEAM DINGLE WAS HERE!!!
7800 + miles from my home in AZ (USA) and had to do a little caching. Took a few friends who had never been before (2 minor cachers and their mother) and they had a blast. Things were still soggy from the recent storm and the cache could use some looking after. The girls had a great time as did I with my first cache on a different continent!!!!

Found without too much trouble had to get the feet wet, I guess it depends on which way you attack the hunt, or could be because the tide was in. Lots of muggles but engaged stealth and had cache in hand. Contents very wet and in need of maintenance, log book ok TNLN TFTC
Feeling a bit seedy after a nearby 21st the night before, we managed to find this without too much trouble, the hardest part was retrieving and replacing without being watched by muggles. Pulled it off in the end, but they were all over the place! TNLNSL. Contents were a bit damp /. mouldy - log book was OK.
Thanks for the Cache.
Thanks for the Cache.

Enjoyed a lovely lunch here with Krafty Charlie. Great weather, great view, great company. After lunch, we walked along the island to the cache. While Mrs Diamond Dog and Krafty Charlie were looking for the cache, Diamond Dog was searching the rocks for oysters. He only shared a couple.

What a beautiful spot you brought us to...we had lunch with the best views under a tree overlooking the water watching the world go by on a weekend away with our friends Diamond Dog...eventually made it to the cache and laid around a little longer whilst drying the cache out...

Second visit to this cache, but with friends this time to enjoy the new year and allowed them to locate it, still a bit dampish. A nice walk on a sunny day to visit this unique island enjoyed by all 8 of us. Took small grey iguana left something that I cant remember
Found it after not too much searching on a cold Brie-sy Saturday afternoon, in fact you could say it was not a Gouda day to go caching.
A bit of moisture has made its way into cache (Mouldy Cheese), and pen no longer works, hence I could not sign the log.
Thanks for the hide Detourism, and thank you Peter Russel Clarke (I grew a beard specifically to find this cache).
Sorry for the cheesy puns in this post.

Found this one with my two kids at 1600. Lovely little spot. It's been quite a few years since I was down Swansea way, and it was the first time my kids had been there.
The plastic bag with the log book has some moisture inside, so the book is still damp. It could use some drying out.

Found this one, at 1200hrs, on my own(no friends)after a short stroll from carpark, a different view of the lake, from an island with a recent history.
Took and left nothing, but cache is suffering from water ingress, actually poured a tablespoon or so out but could not stay long enough to dry it out properly(wife waiting in car)

Found this one whilst out for a walk with my family on a blustery old Sunday. My son was the first to spot it and was so proud of himself. We took 'Junior the Beak' TB and will try to help him on his journey.
Pulling up in the car park, I put the coordinates for the cache into my GPSr. Unfortunately I swapped a 3 and a 7 and so when I got to what I thought was Ground Zero I spent considerably time not finding the cache. When I found what was the perfect cache hiding spot that did not hold a cache I assumed the thing was MIA so stopped asking myself "Where's the Cheese?" and started rummaging in my cache bag asking "Where's the Coke?". Sitting by the water drinking my head ache away I contemplated all the time I’d wasted not finding the cache when I remembered the so far undecrypted clue. After decrypting it, I realized it made no sense at the spot I was sitting and that’s when the penny dropped. With a corrected coordinates I had the cache in less than 30 seconds

Number 1 on todays list of things to do was find this cache. So we did.
This was the third attempt, and the first one with both a cache in hiding AND a lack of overt muggle activity. About bloody time!
Anyway, had a crew of about ten in all on todays expeditions. Once again, Ben was the first to track down the cache. It had nothing to do with the fact it was a small, dark space and he was little enough to jam in there to pull out the cache. Nope, nothing at all.
We looted and pillaged to the tune of a McVideo game and a multi ink pen, and left a gloa stick and LED light.
Glad I finally logged this one, thanks for the fun.

I'm not going to log this as a DNF, but only because I didn't actually get to look for it.
We had a few minutes to kill in the area, so decided to quickly try for this cache. It was just about dark, so took along a torch to search the likely site. After all, where it is won't be prone to snooping muggles, would it?
Apparently it would, even at night. Getting to the site about 30 metres ahead of the rest of the Rats, I found about half a dozen people setting up camp, or possibly just doing some night fishing.
I did a quick 180 and just headed back to the car. I figured that they would probably get a bit sus about someone rummaging about with a torch at that time of night.
Maybe next time...

The cache is now finally back in place .... took me forever to scrape the melted plastic out of the tumble dryer.
Now I wonder why I didn't find it?
Could it have something to do with the cunning location of the cache? Or maybe it was a lack of signal strength from the satelites whizzing by overhead? Or just possibly it was because some wally broke a cardinal rule of geocaching and didn't check the cache page on the morning of the hunt, just in case the cache had been disabled for maintenance?
Nah, couldn't be that.

Heading out to collect the cache and throw it in the tumble dryer. Will return shortly.
I want to find places like this to hide -my- caches. This was a great site you've chosen.
Some bad news, though: the cache container was dripping wet inside, and all the contents were soaked through and through. "Butter won't make it better." (I'm guessing rainwater pools where the cache is hidden.)
Took nothing, left a electronic handheld game.
(I rode 76 kms on a road-bike to reach this cache.. )

Early Sunday morning find. Beautiful spot. As I walked along the track towards the cache a fisherman landed a bloody huuuge bream so I will return with my fishing gear next time. I used to come here fishing with my father when I was a young boy and had forgotten what a great place Swansea is.

We are staying at the Swansea Caravan Park and were in at the library doing our caching logs when we saw this new one come up and right under our nose. So felt fairly keen to be FTF. However not knowing the area very well we were unsure weather we needed Kraft or whether just being crafty was enough. Spoke to the fisherman nearby and he gave us some help. We headed off and cache was ours in a very short time. Left travel bug and bag fastener and took skin care products. Thanks guys.
