Reperio 07:34With a mid week day off work, I decided to take a drive along the Bridle Track and tick off a few of the First Australian Parliament Geocache series. With every cache searched for found, it couldnt have been a better day for driving and geocaching.Quickly found the cache at GZ, however the container is cracked.Gratias The UnbreakablesAs a well spent day brings happy sleep, a well spent life brings happy death - LDV
Quick find after a job out this way. GPS location not 100% accurate due to phone service and tree coverage
Signed as a group with Mudgee Madness. Our last find all together this weekend!?!After going through the fence on the way in we saw the easy way!?!Sadly the container is in need of a little TLC. TFTC.
#14538Day three of JLW together with Everest High, Brewmaker, Martin Cousins, Team Canary, ziggiau and aubeasty. Mudgee was our home base for this weekend. The third day would take us to the Bridle Track for more Joshwa caches. It was enjoyable to do some 4WD along a beautiful part of NSW.The cache was found but part of the cache container has been chewed away.Logs were signed with our individual geocaching names or the group name 'Mudgee Madness'.TFTC
One of the last finds before heading home from completing a section of the bridal track and now to Sydney
Out caching on the JLWE with aubeasty, Its Dozzie, Brewmaker, Team Canary, Martin Cousins, and Everest High from a base in Mudgee. We had a great adventure today exploring some spectacular countryside. Thanks The Unbreakables for bringing us here.
#6001Out on a fabulous ANZAC weekend caching adventure with Ash_Kate and Rama497. Our base for the weekend was Bathurst where we hoped we could find lots of fun caches in and around and enjoy some relaxing time away from Sydney.A quick find here although the container has been eaten by an animal of some description. Thanks for the geofun.
Needs Maintenance- a top spot. Would be a pity to lose the cache, but container is broken and needs replacing.
Found with WaywardWoman while caching in the area. Love the nearby "outhouse". Nice to find an old cache. TFTC
#7000- Woo hoo! My new milestone! Today thomo31, my great caching buddy and I headed out to the Bathurst area with two main things in mind- getting this milestone and getting about 20 caches for the winter solstice souvenir to finish with an event on Saturday.
Both were achieved!
This older cache proves to be a memorable milestone. Not difficult but a beautiful old hidden church and outhouse, just typical of country. In fact my nan had one of these at her place in Point Clare. Though the cache is certainly in need of some TLC, it is worth keeping for the spot. Hopefully someone night have a container to keep it dry and allow it some more life. Thanks

Heading up the Bridle track towards Sofala,I know it's closed up further but I see how far I can get too
Thanks for the cache
Thanks for the cache
Took about 40 min to find, very difficult. Somebody’s comment really helped.. sitting on the loo oh look a stump, that helped us in the end!
Somewhere between the church and the house up the road. i wish i hadn't worn my bright red jacket. Got away with the find. TFTC
Day 2 of our geo tour from Bathurst.
Taking a drive on the road less traveled today. Expecting some great scenery and plenty of caches.
Thanks to everyone involved in creating caches and trails for us to enjoy.
Tftc, we found one loo but the other had us stumped

TFTC and for the mowed path. Note to any future visitors to bring some aero guard - the mozzies are really friendly!

Took awhile to find this one. I was looking for a large container, but in fact it is a small.
The CO needs to update the cache page.

Found it! Good clues, Good hide. Lovely area, gorgeous bush, great little church. Out for a Mother's day drive at only 1°. Very cold but it is Bathurst. Great fun. TFTC
A bit of a wander near the outhousè, but did not stump us in the end. Quiet road for cycle excercising.
I loved this spot. Glen definitely wasn't here. The church was so quaint and had a beautiful stained glass window. The dunedoo is certainly unique and we had fun faking photos. The cache was in good condition. Fav point for uniqueness. Tftc
Hatzofff and I are in Bathurst for a few weeks house sitting, and of course have time for lots of caching.
In a roundabout sort of way, today we are going to a fishing spot and back while the weather is perfect.
Glen's gone and so is the regular. Maybe the neighbors adopted him.
Glen's offspring is now awaiting the next finder, and maybe we have elevated his station in life.

Out with RoddyC while in Bathurst house sitting.
Thought we had better cache while here.
Found a little way off GZ.

We must have been cache blind as despite widening our search we just couldn’t find it. As to the loo my Mum used to have one of these in the back garden when she was a little girl!
On our way back to Bathurst from an orienteering event at Hill End. A quick find and on our way again. TFTC
Find No.3892 while based in Hill End for a couple of days.
Found with sesblocker. We had a bit of a search on our hands here. We were all over the place but eventually we had CIH. We love the structure!

GPS had me 17 metres away when I found it but it wasn't too bad thanks to the hint. Awesome spot and thanks for a great cache. TFTC
14914. Found during a run up around the Bathurst region (again) with minniek.
A lovely days caching in a now familiar area. Next stop for the day along this scenic road. Quick find by minniek. Signed the log, replaced the cache, and headed off to the next one.
Thanks to all the COs for putting out their caches !!

Another great day for caching with fitzy_1965. Headed up to the Bathurst area to fill in some more gaps.
Actually a quick find here today once we worked out how to get to GZ without jumping fences. Glad Glen's not here....wouldn't be so nice to escape out here.

We didn't find this one, but we didn't stay long either.... We had a few members wanting a bathroom break in facilities a little better than the ones in offer here! Maybe next time!
# 1688 - While visiting Bathurst Muggle Friend took me out to visit another friend in Duramana and of course we had to stop at this cache. It took me a while searching for it and I was certainly not going to put my hand in a certain spot, so...... I decided to read the hint. Aha, that made sense! Now it didn't take me at all long.
All in all a good place for a cache and my overseas geocaching friends will certainly like the pictures of this one! A FP earned.

TFTC Thank you for going to the effort of hiding this cache. You have shown us a new place and have helped make geocaching an enjoyable activity.
I finished work early and decided it was a lovely sunny day to drive to a cache. I wasn't holding out too much hope for this one given the last find was 8 months ago so I was very surprised not just by the structure but by the cache container happily out in the open!! The container was full of water but the log book is still dry (miracle from nearby?) Beautiful little area, recent development has not affected cache location at all. Very glad I went out!

This was day 75 of our trip out of Sydney to visit the southern states of Victoria and Tasmania and we are very close to home now.
This was a very nice quick and easy cache to find although it will soon have new neighbours moving in close by. After signing the log the cache was replaced where it had been found. Thank you for bringing us to this area and thank you for placing this cache for us and others to find.

We drove towards NSW bush lands once again where we visited the Dunedoo Bush Poetry Festival. We have solved many interesting mysteries in preparation of our tour which took us to many beautiful historical places.
We stayed in Bathurst overnight where we looked for a couple of caches also.
We weren't able to find a Clean Up
Australia geocaching event in the area which I think is quite a pity as we as nature loving geocachers should be an example to all the others people.
Thank you
Team sissifalke

We parked near the little old church and walked up the track to find an old dunny leaning over. We also found the cache nearby. The dunny looked like it should be photographed for one of those coffee table books that feature old dunnies, if there is such a book. I'm sure there's a market for it. Thanks

Unusual camo! I was about to look elsewhere for the cache when I spotted the camo, moved it & unexpectedly found the cache.
Thanks

Glen wasn't here on this beautiful day next to the 200 year old thingy where people must have spent a lot of time avoiding sermons. Quickly spotted the cache, signed log and Jendid took the big lizard Tb!

Winter weekend in Bathurst and Surrounds with Sol de Lune. Despite the digging nearby the cache seems ok even though it seems a bit exposed.
Thanks.

We have returned from Canada to discover a few more Australian caches! What a great way to explore the "land down under."
Wow, very old building. Glad we didn't have to use it! Thanks for the hide The Unbreakables!

After a frustrating 30mins of searching I couldn't find it. Have to come back as this will consume my every thought.
After checking out the old church we went looking for Glen and although we couldn't find him we found a cache!
Have had a bit of a search for info regarding the church and have discovered evidence in an old edition of the Bathurst Family History newsletter that the church was Saint Pauls and probably anglican - see pic of stained glass window and attached extract.
The church and land have been listed by Raine & Horne as being sold so I am not certain about the status of the cache now that it is on private property.
Anyway a great hide and story 'Unbreakables'. TFTC.

What a lovely little church and church yard plus an interesting loo. I looked at a photo in one of the earlier logs and wonder just how long it will stay upright. I also wonder about the church, it's funny that there's no info about its at the site.

Like one who eats to many radish's both the congregation and Glen appear to have gone with the wind. TFTC
Interesting route that the car GPS led us to reach cache when heading south, took us on a tour of where Glen had been, eventually reached GZ and dropped a load. TFTC
No sign of Glen here but I did find the cache after taking in the hint. TFTCM

The GPS was dancing around on a very overcast afternoon but went with my instincts and the hide was no surprise. Dropped in the Young Duck TB on her way north for the winter. TFTC
I remember wandering around here when we were new to caching and not having a clue. Now the grass is mown and it all seemed much easier. TFTC
A very interesting cache – I made this cache more difficult than it should be – in the end an easy find, I just didn’t want to take a seat as so many rabbits were running from 1 place to another TFTC / TFTH / SL
On a ride to Bathurst with Mulga Bill, we located this cache on our second attempt after confirmation of location from Scenic Routers. Thanks Dick. tftc.

Had a bit of a fruitless search for this on on our way up the bridle track, but another look on the way back had it duly signed, with CrustyVarmint. Thank you.
