Second look and still didn't find. From the pics it's nowhere near the coordinates and there is no hint. Disappointed as I think the placer needs to go back and check it
This sucker almost had me. I searched high and low, off the the track on both sides! Only when I have given up that I spotted it!
Came down to Central Coast today for some caches.
A nice walk along here and a good size cache was found after a few minutes. Both of our GPSrs had GZ 5 metres off the track so had to rely on the hint. Thanks Shifter Brains

this was the second time I went looking for this cache and could not believe I missed it the first time,It is an excellent hide.Thank you shifter brains .TNLN SL
Found a whole ago. Sat down for a rest during the search not realising it was in arms reach!
Found with Grogmonster58 on a wet day on the central coast. I have driven down the express way and often thought that when I have the opportunity I would like to have a look around this beautiful area. We have already started to make plans for a holiday on the Hawksberry river next year and hopefully grab some more Caches in this magnificent area.

There is a little known surf spot over the edge of the cliff out here. Must be 20 years since walking out along the track in a wetsuit.
Soon found the cache with the help of geoson.
Took the chuppa chupps to dispose of.
Thanks Shifter Brains.

Took a while even with the hints. Took Flying Pig travel bug. A track I've always been meaning to walk, thanks for making me do it with a friend, who I've welcomed to the world of GC. TFTC
Thanks again Shifter Brains. Most of your placed caches have taken us to areas that we have not previously been to. An absolutely great walk on a beautiful sunny day.

Found 12/07/2011. Been a bit remiss logging visits. Wet day & needed something to do. This was a nice day - lots of muggles whalewatching. Found by the Mrs while Doc was trying to sort out GZ with the GPS. Nice hide - thank goodness for gloves. Had a little trouble retrieving cache subtley...muggles keep walking along the path - naughty Muggles. TFTC. have always loved this track
Nice walk, coulda done with a suger boost, yet not sure how long those chuppa chups have been there
Look out for muggles on the track walking or running. Nice spot to have a drink. Mum and my brother saw a baby snake. TFTC
Awesome hide, nearly had me stumped, but I wasn't giving up.
A good GPS fix here is hard to get, so pay attention to the description.
BTW anyone needing a thong, there's one nearby.
You will certainly miss the obvious.

It was not obvious from the path, and I did not want to disturb the plants and trees to look for it.
With alturners for this one aswell. found this after not too long. took the tb. TFTC!!!
Decided to try this one after parking at Crackneck. We were walking along, and out of curiosity Mrnoo17 asked how many metres away we were. I looked down at my GPS and we were right on GZ! We had a quick look around and sure enough Mrnoo17 found the cache. Thanx ShifterBrains
Our GPSr wanted us off the track by at least 6m, so we came up with the above coords when we finally found it. Thanks SB, another fine hide.
GPS took us straight to GZ and after a quick look around found the cache. Great walk along the coast and even managed to get another couple of caches. Thanks.
Difficult to find with iPhone app but with a little time we got it. our hint (spoiler)
is that there is no need to stray from the path

This took the longest time of any cache today. My GPS can only give me a general region, so after following the geotrails and peering under everything, I read all the logs and then stuck to the path. I looked up and down for a while but it was hard not to look suspicious when people came by (as they did quite often) I kept at it and looked all over again, finally finding the well hidden cache just before I gave up.
As I was waiting to sign the log a young girl came back passed with her mum and said loudly "Weren't you here when we came by before?" I just laughed it off and said "Yes, I haven't move much."
A long hunt indeed..... Thanks for bringing me here though. It's a nice walk.

Good to clean up an old DNF. I was a bit worried as I set off for this cache having just recorded a DNF and remembering GZ from the last time I was here, but when I got to GZ and the much easier then remebered GZ and quick find I was very confused about what i was remenbering. A later reading of the log history cleared up that confusion though.
Thanks.
Thanks.
This was our ninth for the day with Geodaughter Christine Vista. Not much to say. Very pleasant walk, a fair few Muggles about, Christine and I threw Stealth out the window, and Chook grabbed the cache.
Nice & close to the track, thanks! Love this walk, have done it many times. Grabbed TB otherwise TNLNSL. Thanks Shifter Brains.
The only find after 3 dnf. Had lost hope on this one also when leosoul had an eye on it... TFTC
Nice little walk. Enjoyed it. Our only cache of the day. Lucky to bend and spot it.

Reperio at 1430. After stopping by 'Tanker Spotting', Darwinian and I continued down the coastal walk to grab this one. Spotted it after a couple of minutes, but had to wait for numerous muggles to go by before we could retrieve it. Great walk.

Found this while out caching on Australia Day with TheWobblys and The-Don.
What better way to celebrate Australia Day than being out caching with the family.
Took a short walk from Tanker Spotting to find this cache.
Not the day today to explore to much of the walk.
After grabbing the cache we head back to Mingara to cool off.
Thanks shifter

Arriving at GZ it was pointing us into the bush by approximately 5meters but is said don't leave the path, so what we did we worked with the GPS until it was right angles to the path bent down and there is was. Just to think people walk straight passed it even without noticing SL TFTC

Not been on this walk before, however at our age understandable. You don't have to move of the path. TFTC
Found on a nice hot day with a bit of trouble as GPS low on battery and turning itself off all the time but managed to get signal right at the spot! After geo-grankids inspected the cache, took koala keyring and yellow spiky ball and left car and Oz sticker tattoos. A bit of fun and great walk. TFTC
Geowife and I came out for the coast walk. As I reread the instructions she said Here it is. A lovely spot on a great walk. TFTC
nice walk on first day of summer. pity it is cold and raining. I hope this weather is not a sign of the summer we are going to have. tftc tnlnsl.

There were lots of little tracks heading off into the bush around this cache, so I'll just remind everyone - You don't need to leave the track. You will need to get down on your knees and search though. Mind your eyes on the grass trees! Took nothing and left a hackysack. I am really amazed at the number of flannel flowers around here!! TFTC
Like many others before, we took the GC'ers SuperHighway off the track, only to stumble around, trampling the vegetation.
Read the description properly and previous logs, which took us back out to the track, and then cache was discovered easily.
THERE IS NO NEED TO LEAVE THE TRACK TO FIND THIS CACHE.
Loads of beautiful wildflowers around, especially flannel flowers.

What a great day for a walk along a stunning path. The bush flowers were amazing, lots of flannel flowers. After reading the other logs, I had seen the track into the bush that other cachers have used to find this one. Please note that as the owners say 'you do not need to leave the path'. Thanks for bringing me to this area, a must do cache.

We found this one on a caching weekend on the Central Coast. We went to look for this one after having found "Tanker Spotting". We had a nice walk along the track and enjoyed the great native plants along the way. When we got close to GZ we could see a great deal of trampled vegetation and our GPS pointed for us to walk through there also. We searched for quite a long time and were getting very frustrated by the lack of a clue to help us. After reading the last few logs we decided there was a chance that the listed co-ordinates were not accurate and it appeared as though a few people were mentioning not to leave the track. We changed our search area and eventually found the cache. PLEASE Shifter Brains could you think about adding a hint or additional information so that other cachers don't go continuing to trample the native plants. The listed co-ordinates were not acctually where we found the cache, so maybe they need to be corrected also. TNLNSL TFTC
