I know it's already temporarily unavailable, but I thought I'd register my DNF:
Still on a geocaching high after the "Geocaching 101" event, Snuva and I decided to pick up a couple of ghostly caches before going to bed. This one was on the list for my last visit in March, but GPS signals (dearth of) and muggles (surfeit of) prevented me from making much progress, so I gave it away on that occasion. This time there were muggles aplenty, but we decided to give it a go anyway. Once again, GPS signals were 'inconsistent', to say the least, and we were bounced around from pillar to post. We put the GPSr aside, and searched potential places for a small or micro cache. We found several likely places (and one really likely place), to no avail. A couple of passing muggles asked if we were looking for a drugs stash! After about 20 minutes of this, we rang the Cheesy Pigs, who told us where the cache was, well, where it was supposed to be. This was the really likely place mentioned above. Unfortunately, we have to report that it's missing.

after a great start to the day this was frustrating - plus it was probably the wrong time of day on the wrong day of the week to try this (6.30am on a sat morning) - heaps of activity around - plus GPSr had us in a completely open area and the whole area was really well lit. Oh, well, put this one down to experience!
Sneaky ghosts dont want their resting place found and have removed the coordinates inside the lid. Will be back soon
Oh yeah, I love it when the ol' GPSr points all over the place, EXCEPT in the right direction! "We" did indeed finally find this one at about 8:55pm; after my carryings on at Ghost Tour of Hobart #1, it humbles me to point out that Gorbak found this before me, and without some helpful nods in the right direction from him, I'd probably still be there! Thanks Gorbak, and thanks again CP's!
Second of three finds on this cold, dark night with SG-3. After lots of standing around on the lawn, and then lots of wandering around under trees with our GPSrs indicating every which way, we finally found this one at about 8:55pm. The cache was about 15m from where my GPSr indicated, at coordinates more like S42º53.167' E147º19.852'.
Although the paint on the lid hasn't *completely* chipped away, the section with the numbers is now almost completely missing. Not even a single digit remains now.

Easy find even in the middle of the day as the weather was a little 'inclement' to say the least. Cache was a bit exposed, so hid it a better. Camo paint starting to peel off . . TNLNSL thanks
Stopped to look for this one on my way back to the car. Arrow was going everywhere and I came up empty handed.
Found 200705142148 . Second of this series this evening, but alas no sign of any ghosties, ghoulies, or things that go bump in the night . There were however quite a few critters running around in the bushes . The cache was found 10m or so from where I was being pointed

This one presented no problems this evening and we had the cache in hand in no time flat. People across the road at the pub must have thought we were ghost busters when they first saw us walking into the park with waving a GPS around and saying that way. No need to worry about them though as they could not see where we went.
The info on the lid did present a problem though as the info is flaking but we think we were able to piece it together.
No paranormal activity was detected at this time. Maybe to early in the evening.

Found on our amble around Hobart. The ghostly paint is chipping off of the lid and the magic code probably won't be readable any more.
This was actually found by my friend Julia,a local lass that will not be taking up our wonderful sport.Thanks.
Second early morning find...short search..no muggles much.TFTC Cheers Cheesy pigs.
LOTS of muggles out and about so we didn't hang around too long. Like number 4 in the series we found a likely spot close to GZ but couldn't seem to find anything there. Thanks anyway, because it was a lovely spot.
aaaaargh! had us walkin' around in circles for a while lookin' for arrows!,soon found cache in a cold nite',tnln, tftc,it was little damp inside.
Found this cache with anopened coldie sitting on it. Didn't bring any swaps though...
TFTH. Only one night in Hobart so doubt I'll get the series done.

Was going to try this one today but there was some kind of political rally blocking our chances!
Well we were scared not by ghosts but by little furry scurrying creatures with very big teeth. Co-ords had us standing in the middle of the footpath, and the afore mentioned scurrying creatures put us off doing any sort of searching, so resorted to the help line. Thanks, found slimey cache. TTE happy as he got his guaranteed ghost. Cache was wet, and log book damp, but we signed it, and moved on to the next one. Thanks Cheesy Pigs, we always enjoy your caches. Cheers Quilter.
Found in the gloomy park in the company of beccaj. Noted coords and moved on to anglesea
No arrows, no cache, freeezing rain- lots of muggles but not ones that are likely to notice or remember anything!
So many muggles I walked straight past it, knowing exactly where it was. Came back when the light was fading and booze hounds were pre-occupied. Thanks TNLNSL
Found on a particularly bad night, not only were the lads about half (or fully) tanked but the GPS was wandering and I could not see the arrow, but found the cache eventually, with the help of Azenis and his Missus!!!

Having serendipitously found one in this series, we actively hunted this one out!! Found en route to easter caching event. Thanks! TNLN (except maybe a frog sticker . . .)SL
Cache is now back in place. Sorry to anyone who has been looking for it in the meantime.
Found this one at about 1am after attending a "hens party". Lots of muggles around and got caught by one shining my torch at the cache and saying "there it is!!". Muggle then wanted to fight us and followed us all around Parliment House lawns. Decided not to risk putting back the cache - I will do it ASAP tomorrow (but it might be afternoon before I get there). Reoprted muggle to the police who said there were a lot of hyped up drunk bogans around who had just been to the boxing at City Hall!
Surprisingly not many muggles were around. A nice place to hide. SL. Thanks Cheesy pigs.
Found after attending the Monday Haunt Non-event event. Stopped by and picked this one up just on dark. A few muggles around but sufficiently far away not to notice.
Thanks CPs, this has been a great series.
Now, the next closest cache is 63croks from home (Christmas Tree)

Muggles everywhere! Couldn't find this at all, the GPS seemed to be pointing directly at the busy pub. Eyed very suspiciously by some young couples!
This cache has been moved yet further away from Parliament House - so please note the coordinates have changed slightly - this is to placate the nervous nellies in our midst
OK, I guess these new cachers have learn't to read the comments before they go hunting. Arrived at GZ. Searched high and low, back and forth....... no arrows.......no cache. Read the comments - damn!
Due to customer dis-satisfaction, Number 3 of the Ghost Tour of Hobart is going to be placed elsewhere....stand by for details....
Hm, felt pretty uncomfortable at this one. Since the American's lost the war on terror and everyone in the world has become super paranoid, this isn't a place I like hanging around with a gadget sporting an antenna and brightly glowing screen, especially with all those cameras, I know they aren't supposed to be able to see me, but it doesn't stop me smiling when I look up in my best non-terrorist way
Still the cache was in the bag in about 5 minutes, and we were outta there, retreating to the car to sign the log and get the details, then returned a few minutes later to replace the cache. Thanks CPs, GeoCringe factor 5 - for me at least

Yes I know what the inverted dome is, I also know what it's field of view is as I have watched the monitors in a work capacity . The cache placement is definitely out of view of the camera.
Area not covered by CCTV??? What do you think that inverted dome shaped thing is? We're going to be arrested one day, I just know it. More drunk muggles here than you can poke a stick at! One asked us for cigarettes and wanted to know what we had lost here.
Found it after Snuva and before S&P (but paths may well have crossed somewhere?). Good to hear that the cache is out of range of surveillance but what about bewildered looking pedestrian wandering back and forth peering into crevices, nooks and crannies and carrying something of interest in left hand while trying and failing to look relaxed and noncholant?
The spirits that have been possessing my GPSr during this hunt were having a lovely play around for this one! Although I know the area extremely well and how relaxed they are about security (it's it lovely living in Hobart), I was still getting a bit concerned that I might finally be pushing their limits. That's when the Cheesy Pigs' guiding spirit showed me the way. . .
And yes, I saw a ghost at this one as well!
